Pascha Pizza in Tangermünde

We had reserved a table, but in the store they acted as if they didn't know anything about it. As a starter we ordered garlic bread, which took 45 minutes but was delicious. The complimentary side salad was inedible and warm. The main courses arrived 30 minutes after the starter. The souvlaki was OK, but nothing special. We ordered the steak medium, the first time it was more than well done and not edible. When we returned it, there wasn't even an apology from the staff. The second time the meat almost moaned at you. I wouldn't even call it English. Any amateur cook would do a better job with the food. Service staff only came to bring the food, there was no one else to be seen.

Decided spontaneously and got a great spot on the upper floor. Service was very accommodating. Food and drinks were served very quickly. All very tasty.

Addendum October 2024. We were staying here in Tangermünde for a private celebration. On the last day of our stay, my husband chose the restaurant very close to the accommodation for his "final dinner" because he likes to eat fish, but unfortunately I don't! We were very disappointed here, especially since we had previously had very good food in Tangermünde twice and it was of very good quality and everything was fresh and homemade. When you cook at home, you quickly notice the difference! Everything went well with the reservation, the restaurant was moderately busy on a Saturday evening around 7 p.m. and the restaurant could use a little fresh air. My husband chose fish with fried potatoes, I had neck steak with fries (steak au four?) I can't quite remember. After less than 20 minutes (after ordering), the food arrived, almost like in a fast food restaurant!! We were very taken aback, it happened almost too quickly for us and we had only just sipped our beer. Unfortunately there were far too many convenience products on the plate and as I said, if you still cook yourself and buy wholesale...we were very disappointed. - French fries are only known from frozen foods and are OK. - Fried potatoes all looked the same round and therefore purchased and very oily/dark brown crispy, hard fried. - White cabbage salad, unfortunately, also ready-made (since every dish was included, you could have made it yourself). - Mixed salad unfortunately also ready-made from the bag. Rewe has something like this packed in bags in its range! Very unfortunate! - Neck steak I think gratinated, maybe 50/50, I couldn't quite place it, but it was very dry. - Fish, since nothing else was declared "freshly caught", it was frozen (that's OK, we assumed), but also completely drowned in oil! We were asked how it tasted and I was honest and just said "...it was okay", I didn't say anything else. The young waiter looked at me with a very horrified expression of bewilderment and of course asked “Why”. Since there were other guests sitting around and overhearing my answer, I just said it was okay. Otherwise I wouldn't have eaten it. No matter how expensive some things have become... labor costs, etc.... We're happy to spend €1 more on home-made food... that starts with the fried potatoes.

An old school/house from the 1700s converted into a restaurant with very tasty food in an extraordinary atmosphere, highly recommended
