The restaurant is really lovely. Personally, I didn't find the food all that great. However, the service was very friendly, and you can sit comfortably both inside and outside.

The food was so good over here. Tasting the greek food for the first time it was so good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant atleast once. We had a team dinner and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. And the restaurant was pet friendly too.

We really enjoyed it. The dishes are delicious. What you should know is that there are no oversized portions on the plates, typical of German cuisine. Instead, everything is of a higher quality. The ouzo on the house is unfortunately missing. However, you do get a small bottle of high-quality olive oil. Something different.

A Greek restaurant with fresh and creative dishes, just like in Greece! Not your typical German Greek restaurant with its massive meat platters and the like, but with great, delicious food. Be sure to make a reservation on weekends.

The plates came all together, accompanied by a bottle of Axia! We started with tarama and pitas, tasty, though I found the dip a bit heavy. We had Greek dumplings filled with shrimps and pork belly, where the pork sincerely overpowered the shrimps, but the anis sauce was incredible. The mini moussaka was classic, but delicious, very “béchamelly.” The souvlaki were tender but a bit dry. The Parea beeftaki, a beef steak covered by a generous portion of yogurt sauce with tomatoes and onions, didn’t convince me, good but nothing new! The halloumi fries were amazing, crunchy and accompanied by a spicy mayo that I loved. We closed with a pumpkin crumble with white chocolate ice cream. We found it delicious, but only for people with a serious sweet tooth! The service was attentive, nothing extraordinary but solid!

A good overall experience, I recommend it. We ordered the tarama with pita bread... delicious. The best were the Greek dumplings of the week... what a delicious anise sauce. We also tried several mezedes, such as the halloumi fries (very good), the mini moussaka, also recommended, the mini beftaki, and three souvlakis, the latter tasty but nothing special. Overall, the dishes were well-executed and had a good flavor. The wine that accompanied everything was Axia, Syrah with Xynomavro; it's the perfect wine for this type of dish. The service was decent but nothing special. It's advisable to book a table in advance; they have a covered terrace. A bit pricey, but that seems to be the average in Hamburg these days if you choose something other than "comfort food".

Brutally delicious! We really have a different idea of ​​Greek, and we were told that what we at Parea is typically Greek, not this Germanized version. The meat was so tender, and everything from the salad to the side dish was so fresh and truly hard to beat in terms of taste. Even the welcome greeting from the chef beforehand was great. An absolute insider tip for anyone who loves Greek cuisine or wants to rediscover it! The menu is very varied and innovative/exciting. There's something for everyone here, whether you like meat, fish, vegetarian, or vegan. I particularly recommend the "Journey Through the Menu," which features a daily selection of delicious, freshly prepared tapas. There's nothing here that doesn't taste good! In addition to the large tapas selection, there are also very tasty main courses. The value for money is absolutely fair, the service is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the team seems very well-coordinated, creating a relaxed atmosphere. In summer, the beautiful, covered terrace between olive trees is a real highlight and makes you feel like you're on vacation. I can 100% recommend this fantastic restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit.

We went to Parea today because it's close to our accommodation. We had no expectations, but even if we had, they would have been exceeded. The food was a true feast for the palate. The service was fast, competent, and friendly. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

At Parea you don't just get Greek food, you get an experience. We decided on the “journey through the map” and were not disappointed. Every dish was a highlight, delicately seasoned, prepared to a high standard and simply really good. You can immediately tell that quality is important here. The only small dampener was the price. The waiter said it would cost around 35 euros per person, but in the end it was more like 50. That came as a bit of a surprise, but to be honest it was still worth it. All in all a great evening. If you love Greek food, you should definitely stop by here.

Food very tasty and modern Greek cuisine. However, the start was a bit bumpy, I had reserved online and then received a confirmation for a different time. Unfortunately there was no answer to my query. Still everything worked out. There were four of us and three wanted to travel through the menu, for health reasons I had to eat something else. The waitress refused and you can only order table by table because otherwise the kitchen would be in disarray. To my objection that I could adapt my order to the journey through the menu. Came a negative no! We didn't think it was that good, the friends were already looking forward to the menu because they liked it the last time they were there. Why, we were flexible???

The Parea was definitely a surprise during our visit to Hamburg. A sixth star belongs here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The dishes were all great... and the selection was large. The Greek tapas are really great and taste great 😋 The service was friendly, quick and hospitable. The location and ambience are very appealing. We will definitely come back... and can only say that it is worth a visit.

Overall I liked it. Good vegan offer. I didn't discover my personal highlights on the first visit, but everything tasted good and the service was great.

The restaurant isn't exactly around the corner from us, so we probably wouldn't have ended up there if it weren't for the February special. For 35 euros per person you get a lot of goodies to share and a great opportunity to get to know the restaurant. We can't really say which was our favorite - it was all very good.

My wife and I had a great dining experience here over a week ago. From the appetisers, to the main courses and dessert to the very nice wine we selected, all were of high quality including the friendly service. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I celebrated a special evening at Parea with around 25 people and can only say that everything went perfectly. The food is always excellent at Parea anyway, but this evening with a larger group was also perfectly organized and even small, spontaneous adjustments were responded to in a friendly and flexible manner. I can only warmly recommend Parea because of the particularly good food, but also for larger occasions. Would always choose this restaurant for a special occasion :)

I recently hosted a small group of my client for dinner at Parea - and the evening couldn't have been more beautiful. The exchange beforehand, especially with Isabel, was a dream: warm, always available and with the clear goal of making the evening something special - exactly what I had promised my customer. The restaurant put an incredible amount of effort into it: the tables were beautifully set, the food was a real work of art and the service was outstanding. I've been there several times personally and am thrilled every time - and above all, full and happy. The Parea is such a gem and I am always happy to be a guest there both personally and professionally. Thanks to the service, the kitchen and the owners!

Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht bzw. ausgebucht. Das Personal sehr nett und eifrig. Die Einrichtung sehr geschmackvoll. Allerdings war der Garderobenständer für die vielen Gäste mit voluminösen Steppjacken viel zu klein! Um da Abhilfe zu schaffen, müssten mindestens 2 - 3 Tische für 2 Personen " geopfert" werden, die durch die vielen Gäste in ihrem Rücken einen eher ungemütlich en Abend hatten und das für ein zu hohes Preisniveau!! Was aber viel schwerer wog, dass wir (4 Pers.) 2 Tage später mit einer Magen-Darm-Infektion (Noro- oder Rotaviren?) zu tun hatten! Sicher kein Zufall! Wir werden mit Sicherheit diese Lokal in Zukunft meiden! 👎

Kein typischer Grieche - und grade deshalb unser Favorit. Leckere, kreative griechische “Tapas” (Mezzedes). Das Parea Bifteki und die Halloumi Fries sind eine absolute Empfehlung. Aber auch die veganen und vegetarischen Gerichte sind super lecker. Der Service ist total nett und schnell.

We took a journey through the menu with the kids and were surprised by different mezedes (tapas) in several rounds. We all really liked the concept of sharing and being able to try everything. Going out to eat takes on a completely different meaning with Parea. It is more than just food intake. There is so much love and art in every single dish ♥️ Unfortunately we were so full. Otherwise I would have liked to explore the menu further 🫣 We shared the restaurant directly with friends and acquaintances. Because the Christmas/family season is coming. Here you will not be disappointed by the beautiful ambience and great service. For me the location also has something romantic. And when it comes to food, there are also vegan + vegetarian dishes 🌱 By the way, kids are very welcome here 👧🏻🧒🏻 Have fun trying it out. Save the tip. You certainly won't regret it 🫶

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this Greek restaurant. The cuisine is typically Greek, but very light and healthy, with lots of fresh vegetables and herbs. The mezze arrangement, the main course of baby calamari and sea bream fillet were incredibly tender and tasteful. One small point of criticism: the caramel crust on the crème brûlée was a bit too thick and couldn't be easily broken through with a spoon. The only thing that bothered me a little was the strong smell of aromatic candles in the restaurant. In my opinion, the chemical smell of the candles and the delicious aromas of the food don't mix well and are a little distracting. Overall, I will definitely recommend the restaurant and would love to come back to try the meat dishes

Incredibly delicious food. The tuna tartare and the cold-smoked beef fillet created such flavor explosions in my mouth that I ate with my eyes closed. I haven't enjoyed a restaurant visit like this in a long time. Very nice atmosphere and great staff who gave wonderful recommendations.

The really completely different “Greek”! Forget everything you think about when you go “to the Greek”! This is fine, special cuisine in a really nice, tasteful ambience (no Styrofoam “pillars” etc.). Attentive, friendly service, fair prices, full five points!

I don't often review places, but I have to here: My partner and I are in Hamburg for the first time and we decided to spend our first evening at Parea. The amazing staff ensured our trip got off to an unforgettable start. You were immediately greeted with a warm smile and immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The food was great and creative. We shared different mezes and both enjoyed a main course. The fresh, high-quality food always arrived hot and tasted excellent and varied. The meat was fine and juicy, great fresh herbs were used and we enjoyed each bite more and more. The aperitifs were also great and professionally prepared - I have rarely had such a delicious and well-mixed cocktail! If you have any questions you are always helped and we were given great recommendations. We both returned home very (!) full and satisfied. :) I can't praise the staff here enough, be it the service, the kitchen or the bar. I haven't felt so welcome in a restaurant in a long time. It felt like eating with family. There are authentic, warm, respectful people at work here who gave us a wonderful evening with their passion for great food. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the lovely evening!

An insider tip for me: Super delicious food without having to spend a fortune... and everything was homemade: sauces, creams, bread, spice mix (spices from grandma's garden in Greece)... from our own production,... had mezedes in large groups (Starters) shared, all guests were blown away. Very cozy atmosphere and great terrace in the middle of Eimsbüttel. Been there 5 times now, even in small groups... always new dishes... great... and for food restrictions: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, have had everything, super nice service, cater to everything.
