Food very tasty and modern Greek cuisine. However, the start was a bit bumpy, I had reserved online and then received a confirmation for a different time. Unfortunately there was no answer to my query. Still everything worked out. There were four of us and three wanted to travel through the menu, for health reasons I had to eat something else. The waitress refused and you can only order table by table because otherwise the kitchen would be in disarray. To my objection that I could adapt my order to the journey through the menu. Came a negative no! We didn't think it was that good, the friends were already looking forward to the menu because they liked it the last time they were there. Why, we were flexible???

The Parea was definitely a surprise during our visit to Hamburg. A sixth star belongs here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The dishes were all great... and the selection was large. The Greek tapas are really great and taste great 😋 The service was friendly, quick and hospitable. The location and ambience are very appealing. We will definitely come back... and can only say that it is worth a visit.

Overall I liked it. Good vegan offer. I didn't discover my personal highlights on the first visit, but everything tasted good and the service was great.

The restaurant isn't exactly around the corner from us, so we probably wouldn't have ended up there if it weren't for the February special. For 35 euros per person you get a lot of goodies to share and a great opportunity to get to know the restaurant. We can't really say which was our favorite - it was all very good.

My wife and I had a great dining experience here over a week ago. From the appetisers, to the main courses and dessert to the very nice wine we selected, all were of high quality including the friendly service. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I celebrated a special evening at Parea with around 25 people and can only say that everything went perfectly. The food is always excellent at Parea anyway, but this evening with a larger group was also perfectly organized and even small, spontaneous adjustments were responded to in a friendly and flexible manner. I can only warmly recommend Parea because of the particularly good food, but also for larger occasions. Would always choose this restaurant for a special occasion :)

I recently hosted a small group of my client for dinner at Parea - and the evening couldn't have been more beautiful. The exchange beforehand, especially with Isabel, was a dream: warm, always available and with the clear goal of making the evening something special - exactly what I had promised my customer. The restaurant put an incredible amount of effort into it: the tables were beautifully set, the food was a real work of art and the service was outstanding. I've been there several times personally and am thrilled every time - and above all, full and happy. The Parea is such a gem and I am always happy to be a guest there both personally and professionally. Thanks to the service, the kitchen and the owners!

Ausgesprochen nette Bedienung! Sehr interessante Interpretation der griechischen Küche sehr abwechslungsreich und von sehr guter Qualität!

Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht bzw. ausgebucht. Das Personal sehr nett und eifrig. Die Einrichtung sehr geschmackvoll. Allerdings war der Garderobenständer für die vielen Gäste mit voluminösen Steppjacken viel zu klein! Um da Abhilfe zu schaffen, müssten mindestens 2 - 3 Tische für 2 Personen " geopfert" werden, die durch die vielen Gäste in ihrem Rücken einen eher ungemütlich en Abend hatten und das für ein zu hohes Preisniveau!! Was aber viel schwerer wog, dass wir (4 Pers.) 2 Tage später mit einer Magen-Darm-Infektion (Noro- oder Rotaviren?) zu tun hatten! Sicher kein Zufall! Wir werden mit Sicherheit diese Lokal in Zukunft meiden! 👎

Kein typischer Grieche - und grade deshalb unser Favorit. Leckere, kreative griechische “Tapas” (Mezzedes). Das Parea Bifteki und die Halloumi Fries sind eine absolute Empfehlung. Aber auch die veganen und vegetarischen Gerichte sind super lecker. Der Service ist total nett und schnell.

👱🏻‍♂️ “We should come here again with the family.” If your husband says something like that (and I've almost never heard him say that before), then you know it's a successful evening ♥️ The Greek word Parea means something like “sociability” and/or “circle of friends”. We took a journey through the menu with the kids and were surprised by different mezedes (tapas) in several rounds. We all really liked the concept of sharing and being able to try everything. Going out to eat takes on a completely different meaning with Parea. It is more than just food intake. There is so much love and art in every single dish ♥️ Unfortunately we were so full. Otherwise I would have liked to explore the menu further 🫣 We shared the restaurant directly with friends and acquaintances. Because the Christmas/family season is coming. Here you will not be disappointed by the beautiful ambience and great service. For me the location also has something romantic. And when it comes to food, there are also vegan + vegetarian dishes 🌱 By the way, kids are very welcome here 👧🏻🧒🏻 Have fun trying it out. Save the tip. You certainly won't regret it 🫶

Incredibly delicious food. The tuna tartare and the cold-smoked beef fillet created such flavor explosions in my mouth that I ate with my eyes closed. I haven't enjoyed a restaurant visit like this in a long time. Very nice atmosphere and great staff who gave wonderful recommendations.

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this Greek restaurant. The cuisine is typically Greek, but very light and healthy, with lots of fresh vegetables and herbs. The mezze arrangement, the main course of baby calamari and sea bream fillet were incredibly tender and tasteful. One small point of criticism: the caramel crust on the crème brûlée was a bit too thick and couldn't be easily broken through with a spoon. The only thing that bothered me a little was the strong smell of aromatic candles in the restaurant. In my opinion, the chemical smell of the candles and the delicious aromas of the food don't mix well and are a little distracting. Overall, I will definitely recommend the restaurant and would love to come back to try the meat dishes

The really completely different “Greek”! Forget everything you think about when you go “to the Greek”! This is fine, special cuisine in a really nice, tasteful ambience (no Styrofoam “pillars” etc.). Attentive, friendly service, fair prices, full five points!

I don't often review places, but I have to here: My partner and I are in Hamburg for the first time and we decided to spend our first evening at Parea. The amazing staff ensured our trip got off to an unforgettable start. You were immediately greeted with a warm smile and immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The food was great and creative. We shared different mezes and both enjoyed a main course. The fresh, high-quality food always arrived hot and tasted excellent and varied. The meat was fine and juicy, great fresh herbs were used and we enjoyed each bite more and more. The aperitifs were also great and professionally prepared - I have rarely had such a delicious and well-mixed cocktail! If you have any questions you are always helped and we were given great recommendations. We both returned home very (!) full and satisfied. :) I can't praise the staff here enough, be it the service, the kitchen or the bar. I haven't felt so welcome in a restaurant in a long time. It felt like eating with family. There are authentic, warm, respectful people at work here who gave us a wonderful evening with their passion for great food. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the lovely evening!

A Greek in a class of its own. Everything was perfect here. From the service to the 5 star food and the dessert was great. Thumbs up!

An insider tip for me: Super delicious food without having to spend a fortune... and everything was homemade: sauces, creams, bread, spice mix (spices from grandma's garden in Greece)... from our own production,... had mezedes in large groups (Starters) shared, all guests were blown away. Very cozy atmosphere and great terrace in the middle of Eimsbüttel. Been there 5 times now, even in small groups... always new dishes... great... and for food restrictions: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, have had everything, super nice service, cater to everything.

What should I write first? What variety, for the taste buds, for the senses, for the eye. I have NEVER experienced anything so great. Everyone went out of their way to ensure a wonderful evening. Essen war gut, aber im tiefen Winter nicht zu heizen und stattdessen Lammfelle auszuteilen ist schon dreist. Auch der Nebentisch hat darüber geklagt. Preise waren eher "heiß". Reaktion auf die Antwort: Per Knopfdruck lassen sich Räume nicht aufheizen, das dauert seine Zeit. Am Nebentisch hatten die Gäste die Jacken nicht abgelegt. Wir ignorant muss man sein, um nicht zu checken, dass es eisig kalt ist. Wir sind nur geblieben, weil unsere Freunde reserviert hatten. Wir kommen wegen der aktuellen Reaktion nicht wieder.

Einfach toll! Noch nie habe ich eine so gute griechische Küche erlebt. Vom köstlichen panierten Feta mit Honig und Sesam, bis hin zum griechischen Tataki mit intensiven Aromen, alles top. Wer einen schönen Abend in gemütlicher Atmosphäre mit tollem Essen und nettem Service genießen möchte, ist hier auf jeden Fall an der richtigen Adresse. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Greece restaurant that stood out from the all so typical ones here in Germany. No terrible Gyros and such, but a freshly made variation of vegetarian or even vegan dishes along the meat ones. Ordering a bunch of the famous “Mezedes” small sized dishes and sharing is the way to go.

Sehr schönes Ambiente mit freundlichem Service. Die Speisen sehen ansehnlich aus und schmecken sehr gut. Man kann die Qualität schmecken. Als konstruktives Feedback: große vegane Auswahl. Vegane Feta bei der Aubergine ist vorhanden. Gebackene Feta nur im "Original". Vielleicht ist das auch in vegan möglich? Ansonsten immer zu empfehlen - auch als Gruppenevent sehr schön zum Teilen.

Nach einer Empfehlung wollten wir das Restaurant unbedingt ausprobieren und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Zum Geburtstag meiner Mama waren wir mit 16 Personen vor Ort. Essen war hervorragend, Service top. Durch die unterschiedlichen "Tapas" hatte man die Chance neue Gerichte zu probieren die man sich auf der Karte vielleicht nicht bestellt hätte. Das Ambiente ist eher gehoben. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Griechische Speisen neu definiert. Alle fünf Gäste waren begeistert. Von nur Hauptspeise, über rein Vegan, bis verschiedene Tapas, Hühnchen, Fleischball, Feigensalat (mmmh!), Thunfisch; alles superlecker. Begonnen haben wir mit Greek Spritz und Pisco Sour als Aperitif. Klasse! Wir bekamen auch angeboten eine „Reise“ durch die Speisenkarte nach Empfehlungen des Hauses zu machen. Das gibt es sonst nicht. Die Bedienungen sind allesamt richtig in dem Job. Kompetent, freundlich und immer flott unterwegs. Wir sagen Danke.

Die griechischen Tapas sind ein tolles Konzept. Unbedingt die Halloumi Fries probieren! Auch die Rote Beete und das Greek pulled Beef mochten wir sehr. Der freundliche Service war sehr aufmerksam. Sowohl der Gastraum als auch die Terrasse sind sehr gemütlich. Volle Empfehlung!

Die Atmosphäre war dort sehr angenehm und das Personal sehr freundlich. Eine exzellente gehobene griechische Küche im entsprechend höherem Preissegment. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten das Menü "die Reise durch die Speisekarte" - das sehr zu empfehlen ist.

Richtig schöner Abend auf der Terrasse! 🙌🏼 Wir haben spontan ohne Reservierung einen schönen Platz draußen bekommen. Wir hatten zu 4-5 verschiedene Meze - alle sehr lecker. Hausgemachte Limo war spitze & die Cocktails an den Nachbartischen sahen auch sehr gut aus. Freundliches Team und aufmerksamer Service. Kommen gerne wieder!

Service nett aber planlos. Vorspeisen geschmacklich ok, Preise völlig überzogen. Souflaki....furz trocken...Drillinge fettig. Bifteki total vertrocknet....Schweinehack? Null Geschmack und die Fetafüllung gab es gar nicht...auch hier Drillinge fettig. Schmorbraten mit Püree war nicht schlecht. 3 von 4 Gäste meggggaa enttäuscht Und nun der Preis 180 Euro. Jeder Billiggrieche hätte besser gekocht. Sorry das war mal Nichts. Meggga enttäuscht und schade ums Geld Gruss kirstin

Wirklich leckeres Essen, mit regelmäßig wechselnden Spezialitäten. Wirklich zu empfehlen sind die "Kleinigkeiten". Bisher war alles lecker und ich komme gerne wieder!

Unvergesslich leckeres essen. Was man hier an essen erwarten kann ist unbeschreiblich lecker und überaus kreativ. Kann mqn nur empfehlen. Der preis ist zwar hoch, jedoch mehr als angemessen. Ich empfehle das die reise durch die speisekarte, ein art tapas. Perfekt für paare und familien essen.

Super leckeres Essen und super Service.

Alle die offen für eine moderne griechische Küche sind, sollten hier mal essen. Die Kreationen sind ein großartiges Geschmackserlebnis! Es gibt sogar viele vegane Speisen im Angebot. Man kann eine Reise durch die Speisekarte wählen und somit viele Kleinigkeiten kosten. Das Team ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, es gibt einen schönen Außenbereich und das Restaurant ist insgesamt schön gestaltet. Wer Gratisouzo und Billigfleisch will, ist hier nicht richtig.

Hier zeigt sich- leider - die jugendliche Überheblichkeit des Service. Nach Rechnung für Tapas über €200,- für 4 Personen- haben wir keinen Absacker bekommen, weil wir keine „lieben“ Gäste gewesen sind. Unsere letzte Bestellung um 22.45 Uhr mussten wir bis 23 Uhr schaffen….weil dann Feierband gemacht werden wollte…. Ohne Worte- entspanntes Essengehen mit Freunden in Zukunft mit leidenschaftlichen Gastgebern! Never again! Wir wohnen hier seit Jahrzehnten in diesem Viertel und schämen uns fremd für diese Abzocke.

Selten so gut griechisch gegessen, die Neuinterpretation der griechischen Küche trifft voll unseren Geschmack, vorab telefonisch Reserviert und dann mehr als freundlich begrüßt, vorab Gabe es Schweinefilet am Spieß, scharf angebraten dennoch zartrosa im Kern, dazu pitabrot und Fetacreme, dann Rinderfilet mit Feta und Nuss kalt geräuchert, und Sephia-Risotto mit Pulpo, dieser war knusprig gebraten dennoch zart im Fleisch, Wenn wir wieder in Hamburg sind, dann sind wir ihre Gäste

My sister, who was already a fan, insisted on bringing me to Parea. We ordered the mezzedes (appetizers) assortment, grilled shrimp, extra olives, grilled pita, and honey-chicken breast. Everything was good, and some were exceptionally delicious. The aïoli was addictive, reminiscent of the garlic cream we used to get with grilled chicken in Lebanon. VERY garlicky, so be careful! The tomato-olive dip and the eggplant salad were wonderful. In my opinion, the tarama was a bit too salty. The shrimp arrived sizzling in a pan; they were plump and juicy. We sat in a covered and heated veranda (it was November in northern Germany). It felt safer than being indoors due to Covid, although all guests' vaccination certificates are verified. Prices are reasonable.

Neulich ging ich mit meinem Hund am Parea vorbei. Als Abendgericht wurde Pasta mit Miesmuscheln angeboten. Sofort war mein Heißhunger geweckt. Natürlich hatte ich kein Geld dabei. Zu blöd. Also von mir die Frage, ob es das auch am nächsten Abend noch gäbe. Neeee, da sei geschlossen. Aber das sei doch alles kein Problem. Ich könne es jetzt mitnehmen und dann einfach bezahlen, wenn wieder geöffnet sei. Wir kannten uns nicht. Es war mir unangenehm. Hab´das Angebot dann trotzdem angenommen und so bekam ich das Abendgericht auf Vertrauen einfach mit. Habt ihr sowas schonmal erlebt??? Ich zehre heute noch von dieser Gastfreundschaft. Seit einem Jahr herrschen für alle unangenehmen Zeiten und das unsoziale Miteinander steigt gefühlt. Und dann dieser absolute Lichtblick. Genial! Zu Hause angekommen übertraf das Gericht sogar geschmacklich noch alle Erwartungen. Ausschließlich frische Zutaten, perfekt zusammengestellt, so ganz anders, als ich es sonst in einem griechischen Restaurant serviert bekomme. Wirklich sehr fein. Leider, leider kenne ich das Restaurant ja noch nicht von innen, pandemiebedingt nur den Straßenverkauf. Aber ich sage euch - wer mal weg will vom Einheitsgeschmack der üblichen Restaurants und sich wirklich Gutes tun will - hin da! Die Mittags- und Abendkarten werden erstellt, sobald eingekauft ist. Also stets wechselndes Angebot, auch mal - für mich - außergewöhnliche Zusammenstellungen, also überraschend. Ich teste mich gerne durch und bin jetzt Stammkundin. Denn das erste Menü war geschmacklich keine Ausnahme. Es ist jedesmal ein neuer Genuss. Rundum Empfehlung.
