Hellas Pizza House in Hamburg

I have never eaten such delicious pizza in my life and I have traveled all over Europe. Hats off! Always my pleasure. Best shop in Hamburg.

Restaurant with a lot of choice and very tasty food with large portions. The service is super nice. We can highly recommend Hellas Pizza House for lovers of Greek food and pizzas. Came across it by chance and thought it was very good, so we ate there two evenings within 4 days.👍

We came here spontaneously on a Friday evening. Getting a table was no problem. We had a mixed grill and biftiki filled with feta cheese. The food tasted really good. I just wish there was a bit more feta cheese in the biftiki, as you had to hunt for it. The portions are so large that we couldn't finish them. We will return on our next visit to Hamburg, as Hellas is within walking distance of our hotel and serves really good food at fair prices.

We came across Hellas while looking for a restaurant near our hotel. What luck!! Very nice service and super tasty food. The portions were barely manageable. If we are in the area again, we would eat there again in a heartbeat.

Gyros extremely tough, we couldn't eat them. Coleslaw tasteless and very coarsely cut. Pizza bread 7€??? What for?...well no cheese available. Liquid tzatziki. Fries ok Once, NEVER again!!!

I was craving grilled meat and beer after work. I got exactly what i wanted. Plus very friendly service and food that tasted above average. I am glad to have walked the 2km over here. As they offer lunch as well, will hang a card on out food board. Thanks alot, really appreciated!

The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly and accommodating. From the outside it doesn't look as cozy as it does from the inside. So don't be discouraged by the first external impression. Card payment was not possible but you can pay with PayPal if necessary. Otherwise you have to withdraw cash from a nearby ATM for a fee. All in all very satisfactory.

So if most of the outside lighting in a store is broken or just flickers, it's not a good sign. But if you then look through the windows and take a look at the restaurant (heap), it's better to quickly look for something else or not eat anything at all for the day.

60 minutes after ordering, the restaurant informed me that they had forgotten my order and that they would now cancel it, I had already paid. The money was still debited and still not refunded after 5 days.

Unfortunately the food today was just mediocre. The driver was extremely unfriendly and because of that we won't be ordering anything from you again. If he doesn't want his job, he should do something else. Embarrassingly simple. The drivers represent your store and should therefore be friendly.

last time ordered here: Overall, no stars and every customer is advised not to buy from Hellas Pizza House. Everything is bad there. Order was delivered twice for pizza gyros with onions and pepperoni, without cheese and without tomato slices, cost: €19.80 + delivery fee €1.50. Quote from the driver: "We also left out the onions because without cheese there would be water everywhere on the pizza." However, over the last two years I have occasionally ordered pizza with onions and no cheese there without any problems. I asked the driver neutrally that the order be brought to me again with onions. If you read the other reviews here, they probably eat the wrong food with bottled ingredients more often than normal. shouted answer: "[...]we will not supply you again. You are shit!!" In the store they still don't seem to have gotten used to the fact that you actually want food the way you order it. Of course, you could have called beforehand to clarify this instead of just trying to deliver it. The price has also risen again since the year before last, by a total of around 20% in some cases. Every meal is now 2-3 euros more expensive than before, but the portions are much smaller and the amount of pizza toppings is smaller. The quality was only mediocre before, but it has also deteriorated and is still just ok if you're lucky and have a good day. It's better to walk 25 minutes or more to and from a good Greek restaurant run by Greek people than to drop money at that juice shop.

🚨I DO NOT RECOMMEND🚨 DO NOT EAT HERE. I ordered a bolognese pasta from Liferando and it smelled terrible. I think the food wasn't fresh. I threw it in the trash. The food smelled rotten. If you pay €25 for a pasta, you deserve it to be fresh. Don't eat them here

We spontaneously got a table for 7 people and were warmly welcomed by the very friendly staff. The food came quickly and was super tasty! From fries to gyros to bifteki, everything is recommended and served in generous quantities. We'll definitely be back :)

Cozy and delicious food :) UPDATE after 4 years: Still delicious food. Every now and then I order food there with a colleague and we really dig into it because it's really, really good.

I had schnitzel with cream sauce and mushrooms with croquettes and was pleasantly surprised. I can recommend the schnitzel and the sauce were really tasty. The croquettes were good too. The salad that came with it was very small. You can't call that a salad. The taste is OK, but far too little. Therefore only 4 out of 5 stars. Food was takeaway so no stars for the ambience.

Delivery time 1.5h, Food average at best. Gyros not tasty. Garlic sauce completely forgotten. First and last time.

Moin, wir kommen seit ca. 30 Jahren immer wieder her, das spricht schon für sich, die Portionen sind reichlich, schmackhaft und preislich in Ordnung. Der Empfang ist immer herzlich, auch wenn es so manches Mal recht stressig zugeht. Oft nutzen wir den Lieferservice, und auch das klappt hervorragend. Wir freuen uns auf weitere 30 Jahre 😉. Übrigens, probiert Mal die Gyrospizza ☺️.

das personal wirkt sehr freundlich. aus der lage und der location wurde herausgeholt, was möglich ist. jeden tisch ziert ein frisches blümchen. große auswahl an speisen. nächstes mal wird hier nicht nur herein geschaut, sondern auch ordentlich gegessen (essen ist bestimmt gut, vergebe ohne vorbehalt schon mal 4 sterne). *als nachspeise hätt ich zum thema griechenland den tip, ab und zu auch mal ein gut zubereiteres galaktoboureko anzubieten. dies ist das einzige, was mir zu der sehr schönen speisekarte noch einfällt.

Super leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen und große Portionen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier gibt es noch richtig leckere griechische Klassiker und sehr gute Pizza, ganz ohne Chi-Chi. Lage und Aussengestaltung sind eher einfach, davon sollte man sich aber nicht blenden lassen. Wie so oft trügt der äußere Schein und dahinter verbirgt sich eine super Restaurant !!!

Wir sind per Zufall auf das Hellas Pizza Haus gekommen, da eine unserer Töchter Pizza, die andere Nudeln, wir Eltern aber lieber was anderes wollten. Von außen sieht es eher nach Imbiss aus, aber das Essen war wirklich gut, die Pizza der Großen reichlich belegt, die Spaghetti der Kleinen lecker und der gebackene Schafskäse und der Grillteller, für den mein Mann und ich uns entschieden haben, wirklich super, eine ordentliche Portion und sehr schmackhaft. Es wurde auch mehrfach nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder was fehlt. Wirklich empfehlenswert! Vier mal zwei Daumen nach oben von uns!

Zufällig entdeckt. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Die Portionen sind so das man auch mit großen Hunger satt wird. Die Preise sind ok. Das Restaurant hat sieben Tage die Woche offen!!! Die sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung macht Ihnen Job sehr gut. Ich komme immer wieder gerne dort vorbei.

Hier gibt es sehr gute und reichhaltige Gerichte in unscheinbarem Ambiente bei moderaten Preisen. Guter und freundlicher Service rundet den Aufenthalt noch ab.

Das Essen war Mega lecker. Die Portionen waren etwas zu groß, leider war das für uns nicht zu schaffen. Das. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist super, sehr freundliches Personal. Wenn wir im nächsten Jahr wieder Urlaub in Hamburg machen, weerden wir wiederkommen.

Had a nice dinner with the colleagues while in Hamburg. Had a very nice Greek meal. The portions are quite big couldn't go through the whole plate. Had the Nico Platter. Served also with a cabbage salad. Service is very smiley and effective. Take into account that only cash is accepted in this restaurant. Fortunately there is an ATM across the street to get some cash.
