Strozzapreti con calamaretti tasted great and could have been a bit more. Tortellini alla panna tasted great.

Umar is a very friendly waiter, what personal service! We ate here twice, were recognized and treated as regular customers. The gnochi and pasta are divine, panna cotta is to die for and the staff is very friendly! The prices are very cheap, so we can learn a lot from them in the Netherlands. The gnochi are definitely handmade, melt in your mouth and the restaurant is highly recommended!

Very nice, the food is large portions, you fill up well. The staff fulfills all wishes, simply great.

We have been regular customers at Pane e Vino in Bad Homburg for years. The food is always of reliable quality, whether salad, pasta, pizza or the meat dishes. I find the service to be friendly and accommodating. A big plus for us is the continuous opening hours, especially on weekends.

I have to say please please please. There's more to it. 1. Were there recently. The service, fast, fast, fast. Not personal, not friendly, not open. 2. My companion had the new wine (we had ordered a different one) poured into a glass that still had wine in it. NoGo 3. At the end I wanted to drink a limoncello. It didn't say it was on the house. 2 were on the house and mine was settled at 4.50. impudence Guys, the food was OK. If you don't care that people come and you want tourists. Keep it up... If you want regulars, put something on it. More is possible. Good luck

I used to eat at Pane e Vino very often. The bill has now increased by almost 70% and then a 15% service fee is automatically added to the bill without consultation. Unfortunately we are out and you have lost us as loyal customers...

The service was absolutely subpar. Lots of staff, none of whom seemed to want to serve us. The waiter who came then didn't understand any German. I had a tiny (!) pizza for €14, which when I asked about the size/tininess I was led to believe that it was 28 cm 😂. Also without taste. Conclusion: overpriced, unfriendly restaurant for walk-in customers... tourist rip-off.

A little bit of Italy in Bad Homburg. From delicious pasta, pizzas to meat and fish dishes, there is something for everyone. Friendly service and the price is reasonable.

I've eaten there three times now and would like to tell you my impressions. It's nice restaurant in the center of Bad Homburg. Cozy and the food is good value for money. Unfortunately the service is not good. The staff doesn't smile and you don't feel like you're really welcome, just a paying guest. That's basically true, but I'm in Bad Homburg every week. Would therefore be a potential regular guest. You get pepper once from the large mill. Looks fancy, but doesn't help if you want to season your food. You also have to ask extra about cheese. There are a few Italian restaurants in Bad Homburg that I would recommend. But in principle there is nothing wrong with going out for a leisurely meal there.

...for the Italian moments... very tasty tagliatelle with a brilliant sauce - super fresh, fine Napoli pizza, good wine and at the end a fantastic expresso.

Very well attended and nice restaurant in Bad Homburg city center. It was my first time there and I thought nothing could go wrong here. I chose the rump steak with asparagus. The staff seemed very overworked and listless to me. I was served by 4 different waiters… I have rarely eaten such a bad steak. As tough as rubber. I mean, if I'm going to spend €33 on a steak at lunchtime, then it should taste good and be fun. Staff talk loudly, badly about other guests… It's a shame what's going on with gastronomy in Germany, all rules and principles are unfortunately ignored. I sat right next to the counter and while I was eating the 5-6 waiters walked past me at least 30 times and no one even looked at me or asked if I was happy even though I tried very hard to chew the steak. I don't like sending my food back, but in the end I just told the waitress that the meat was very tough, and then another waiter came and asked. I repeated that the meat was very tough. There was no response, no apology... just nothing and walked away. That was what made me even more upset. I didn't expect any discount or anything, just a reaction or apology would have been enough. Simply rude and arrogant.

A nice restaurant to eat in. Prices are also okay but now come to the negative point. I ordered sea bass but another dish came and it was seasoned without consent. For 3 sticks of asparagus, 2 fish and 3 potatoes you pay 30 euros, which is a bit expensive.

My meal was extremely good, I had pasta with asparagus that I personally recommended, the spagel was just a bit too firm, but otherwise highly recommended, the price was okay

Unfortunately, the food was quite salty on both visits. It's always quite busy, which doesn't make your stay that pleasant.

Extremely disappointing. They ruined the spaghetti aglio olio (the noodles tasted extremely bad). The restaurant has a great location, but I was not impressed otherwise.

The food was OK but not exceptional. The employee who was responsible for the drinks reacted angrily when he was repeatedly asked about a missing drink. There was the possibility of seating a larger group in the basement.

Very cozy Italian restaurant. With genuine Italian flavors. Everything was delicious. The fact that the restaurant was full at noon says it all. It is obvious that it is a popular place. We visited the city for the first time as part of a family trip. We came here completely by chance to satisfy our hunger. Anyone who likes Italian cuisine will not be disappointed here!

The only thing that convinced me here was the friendly service. Ordered "handmade pasta with beef fillet tips and mushrooms". I'm pretty sure the noodles weren't homemade. And there were only 6 small pieces of meat in the entire dish and not many mushrooms either. For €18.5 I expect more!

The small breads given at the entrance were delicious. But the oil they brought is definitely not olive oil. The pizza was burnt and the cheese was of poor quality. Gniocci's gorgonzola sauce was also very sloppy. In general, the quality of the materials is low. The taste is mediocre. Service staff were good.

Quality of the food sometimes like that, sometimes like that - mood of the staff sometimes like that, sometimes like that and if generous tips aren't given, a bunch of small coins are given as change in protest..... and to be honest what is this dipping oil with balsamic supposed to be? An “olive oil”? Never! I use this to lubricate the door hinges of a door so that it doesn't creak...

Pure nostalgia for my Italian companion! Pizza was really delicious, the drinks were pure enjoyment and the service was really nice and accommodating! Clear recommendation! For fans of Italian food it is definitely worth a visit!!

Das Italienische Restaurant ist super schön die Gastfreundlichkeit ist super lieb und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ok könnte ein wenig günstiger sein aber sehr Sympathatische Menschen vom service auch der Chef sehr höflich und galant. Das Essen ist fabelhaft die Getränke sehr lecker. Die Toiletten sehr sauber. Das Ambiente ist sehr sehr schön und stiel voll.

Zufälligerweise sind wir dort essen gegangen es war sehr voll aber wir hatten trotzdem die Möglichkeit bekommen ohne Reservierung dort noch einen Tisch zu bekommen. Süß eingerichtet, sieht sehr toll aus. Der Service war sehr gut, nette Kellner. Wir hatten die Nudeln mit Trüffel und wir hatten dieses Essen schon öfters in anderen Städten und Restaurant gegessen aber dieses ist mit Abstand das beste das wir je gegessen hatten.

Das Essen war lecker. – Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam . Das Ambiente ist top.

Unfreundlich, distanzierter und desinteressierter Service. Antipastiteller o. k., Tagliatelle mit Steinpilzen und Filetspitzen o. k, aber die Filetspitzen waren durchgegart. Ob die Pasta wohl hausgemacht war? Billige Bestuhlung und wackelnder Tisch. Preis-Leistung sehr schlecht. Hans wird dort nicht mehr essen . ☹️

Ansprechendes Restaurant, gute Auswahl und Essen sehr gut. Sehr freundlicher Service. Ich empfehle einen Tisch zu reservieren. Würde wieder dort essen.

Tolles Restaurant mit gutem Essen

Den positiven Rezensionen können wir uns leider nicht anschließen. Wir wollten am Nachmittag eine kleine Stärkung zu uns nehmen. Das Personal war uns gegenüber ziemlich unfreundlich und unmotiviert (offenbar hat man kein Interesse am Umsatz durch Touristen). Die Gäste neben uns, wohl Stammgäste, wurden hingegen sehr freundlich und einladend empfangen. Wer nach einem leerem Glas erwartet, dass jemand kommt um eine neue Bestellung aufzunehmen, muss sich leider eine ganze Weile gedulden. Letzteres gilt leider auch für einen Tisch mit direkter Einsichtnahme seitens des Service-Personals. Mit einem Panna Cotta zum Dessert macht man nichts verkehrt. Es sah zwar nicht besonders hübsch aus, aber geschmacklich war es lecker. Beim Bezahlen wird davon ausgegangen, dass man Trinkgeld gibt, denn es wurde nochmals deutlich nachgefragt, ob es der zu zahlende Betrag sein soll. Alles in allem keine Weiterempfehlung!!

Sehr leckere Pizza, freundlicher Service. Unsere Bestellung wurde wohl irgendwie vergessen und wir warteten eine Stunde auf die Pizza.....Es gab dann am Schluß zumindest einen Absacker aufs Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben sehr gute Lammkotlett und Fisch gegessen.

Mitten in der Fußgängerzone von Bad Homburg gelegen zwischen Kurhaus und Schloss. Grosse Anzahl an Plätzen innen und aussen. Gute italienische Küche. Lugana deutlich teurer als pinot grigio. Meine Band Nudeln mit Kalbfleisch waren grossartig. Die Spagetti mit Gambas waren auch gut, wenn auch die Gambas zu durch waren. Ansonsten schönes Ambiente, schneller Service. Nicht außergewöhnliches. Etwas versessene Hochstühle, aber wir kommen gerne wieder.

Viele kleine lauschigen Ecken, freundliche Mitarbeiter und sehr ansprechendes Essen.

Ein italienisches Restaurant, nett und sehr einladend auf der Bummelstraße von Bad Homburg. Preise normal, Karte mit allen Klassikern der italienischen Küche und saisonale Gerichte. Hübsch angerichtet, heiß serviert und lecker 👍 ohne Reservierung zu viert an einem Sonntag Abend bei schönem Wetter, schnell und zuvorkommend gab man uns einen Tisch. gerne wieder und Weiterempfehlung.

There is no big difference between a supermarket frozen pizza and the one offered here. Poor service, specially at the time of payment when the waiter added 1 euro more of what I said I was tipping them

Ein super großes Lob an das durchweg überdurchschnittlich freundliche und kompetente Personal. Das hat man nicht oft. Bei der Reservierung wurde mitgedacht, dass wir einen Hund dabei haben und wir hatten einen wunderschönen Platz in der Nische. Vom Essen waren wir begeistert. Nicht nur das übliche an Pizza und Pasta sondern super leckere Empfehlungen des Hauses. Wir waren begeistert und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank für die Mühe die Sie sich gemacht haben.

We visited family in Germany coming from the US and wanted to connect with old (good) memories about Italian restaurants in Germany. Unfortunately this place was not a good connection! We ordered different pizze and all of them were completely oversalted so we took most of them home to give it to our sister's teenagers because we - rightfully - estimated that they eat everything as long as it is pizza.
