The most delicious pizza I've ever eaten! The service was also excellent. The complimentary appetizer was a very pleasant surprise.

I love this restaurant. We come here often. Most recently for my birthday. The owner even created a special appetizer platter for us. Absolutely fantastic! Everything was top-notch, from the service and the food to the farewell.

Today was our first time at the Osteria; we'd always forgotten to reserve a table before. This time we planned ahead and made a reservation. It was incredibly delicious. The mussels with spaghetti were fantastic—light, fresh, perfectly al dente, and served in a large pan—a true culinary delight and a feast for the eyes! The roast suckling pig pizza was also very good. The bread served beforehand was heavenly soft and delicious. The hosts are friendly and welcoming; it was a wonderful evening!

A restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine with meticulous attention to detail. The team at the Osteria is truly dedicated. The food is exquisite, and the service is attentive and friendly (even to the children). For me and my family, it's the best Italian restaurant.

A great restaurant in Cuxhaven-Duhnen if you're tired of eating fish. When you arrive, it's like eating with good friends. But please reserve a table in advance, as it's always very busy. Great little cellar restaurant.

First of all, reviews can be fake these days. It's completely different here... simply a culinary feast. The chef came out of the kitchen, chatted with the guests, and you could see firsthand how high-quality, fresh ingredients were used. The staff was simply fantastic... very attentive and warm! And last but not least - the food was simply a delight! Large portions that truly tasted every ingredient. A true feast for the palate 🤭 - the menu may be small, but there's something for everyone. An absolute recommendation!!!!! Sven & Steffi are definitely regular customers now.

Simply fantastic! Starting with the welcome (you feel immediately welcome), the atmosphere is simply relaxing. Whether it's the starter, main course, or dessert, everything is delicious and of the highest quality. Add to that the warm, excellent service. Whenever we're in Duhnen, we love coming here because everything is just perfect.

So I did it! 5 out of 5 stars I've been eating here for over 5 years now, and it's always been a pleasure! Top quality and fresh, colorful, and honest cuisine! The osteria is cozy, and the service is excellent. Friendly and accommodating. Only our pizza (suckling pig and ham) was really bland. The crust wasn't crispy around the edges, and the seasoning was completely missing. A real shame.

At first, we were completely ignored. Only after much waving did a waiter appear, who somehow only managed to take our drink orders. Of course, that didn't work. The food took a long time to arrive and wasn't particularly tasty. We definitely won't be back.

Very delicious food. The pizza was delicious and very large. The pizza dough is second to none. It's rare to find such good pizza. Eight of us were there, and everyone was very satisfied. The portions were very generous. We had a lovely evening in a wonderful atmosphere. When we're back in Duhnen, we'll definitely come back.

It's quite busy here, but that, coupled with the warmth of the staff, makes it all the more enjoyable. Of course, grumpy people and those who prefer quiet while eating have no place here.

It's a shame, a good restaurant that can't cancel is closed today. Despite having a reservation, we found the door closed. It's not a quick trip from Groden to Duhnen. We're guests who come even in winter, when there are no tourists. I expect a bit more service. I would have expected a cancellation; if guests can't come, you want to.

I can highly recommend this pizzeria. It was a homely, welcoming, and, like everything in Duhnen, very busy. We got a table on short notice without a reservation. The pizza was delicious. We wanted to eat here, but unfortunately, we didn't get any food. We weren't offered a menu and weren't asked for drinks. One waitress was sitting at a table with customers and ignored the new guests. Another waitress came out of the restaurant, brought food to a table, and then disappeared again. The third waitress came out of the restaurant, walked purposefully toward customers she seemed to know, and then chatted with them at length. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored at the next table. After about 20-30 minutes, we got up and ate somewhere else. That's not how you should treat customers. Since we have a vacation apartment in Duhnen, we go there often. However, we won't be eating there again for the foreseeable future.

Too many tables, therefore very noisy. Some orders were forgotten, and dishes arrived much later than others.

I ordered and wanted to take it away, and even though it was very busy, it only took 20 minutes. They were extremely hospitable and gave me two free drinks to compensate for the wait. A very nice osteria with a prime location, right behind the dike in Cuxhaven-Duhnen. The service is excellent, approachable, and friendly. It's a pleasure to dine here. The food is fantastic. Authentic, delicious, and very good value for money. The pizza was superb. A wonderful, crispy, flavorful crust with great toppings. The tiramisu was sublime, simply different and simply delicious. The panna cotta was also fantastic. Be sure to make a reservation by phone and definitely eat there during your stay in Duhnen.

We ordered spaghetti Bolognese to go. When we got home, we realized it tasted completely bland. Spaghetti was just ribbon pasta, and not al dente! We were thrilled with it last year!

What an Italian restaurant. We walked in and were immediately enchanted. The ambiance was simply so beautiful, and we felt so comfortable there. And then the service. 5 stars. Great experience, delicious food

We came here because of the excellent reviews. The pizza was below average at best, as was the pasta. The service was a bit disorganized and disinterested. We certainly won't be back.

Today we spontaneously got a seat on the outside terrace. All the waiters were, without exception, very friendly and accommodating. Orders were taken quickly, drinks arrived promptly, and the welcome from the kitchen (a variety of homemade bread) with a delicious sauce arrived immediately. This portion was already quite large. Then came the main courses: pizza, lasagna, tomato soup, and bruschetta. The portions were enormous and almost impossible to finish. The taste was outstanding. We've found a new favorite Italian restaurant that we'll definitely visit again during our one-week vacation. We'd happily give it 6-10 stars.

With its great location, right on the promenade, this restaurant, which has been around for over 30 years, is highly recommended. 😊🤌🏻

Great restaurant with attention to detail An all-round successful visit! The ambiance is stylish and inviting. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the welcome from the kitchen – fresh bread with dip, something rare these days. The pizza was excellent, especially the ham, which tasted exceptional. Even the little things are just right: a sharp knife, attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The service was consistently friendly – not only the owners, but all the staff were polite and very attentive. You feel truly welcome. Small suggestions for improvement: The view could be somewhat shaded by pleated blinds, and the daily specials could be more visually appealing. Conclusion: One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Excellent value for money – I'd love to come back!

A wonderful place with a true Italian soul! The pizza was simply divine – thin, crispy, and full of flavor, just like in Italy. The German beer was perfectly chilled and rounded off the evening wonderfully. A big thank you to Gabi and Franco – your warm manner, your hospitality, and your attention to detail are palpable in every moment. With you, you don't feel like a guest, but like being with good friends. We're already looking forward to the next time!

In short: That's what you want, top-notch!!! Super friendly staff, fast service, best bruschetta ever, delicious pizza with top-notch dough and toppings (see photo). Highly recommended. The only downside: always busy, and you might have to wait, but it's definitely worth it.

We, from Cuxhaven, came here for dinner for the first time. We received a very friendly welcome. Service was also very prompt. The house special came with two different types of bread with a red sauce. Very tasty. We had the pizza No. 11 and the spinach and salmon lasagna. Both were incredibly delicious. We were glad we hadn't ordered a starter, as it turned out the main course portions were large. But again, "incredibly delicious." Everything was also very friendly and homely. We'll definitely be back 👍

Wir haben Spaghetti in Buttersoße mit Sabei und eine Pasta in Trüffel Soße und gerösteten Pinienkernen gegessen. Herrlich hat beides geschmeckt, das beste Essen so lange ich zurück denken kann. Bravo, bravo, grandios, danke. Super freundlich und aufmerksam sind außerdem dort alle. Das einzige, was zu verbessern wäre, Die Ausschankweine sind einfach, da hätten wir uns eine kleine Auswahl an Weißweine gewünscht. Zu dem fantastischen Essen hätte ein guter Tropfen gepasst. We had two salami pizzas to take away. The pizzas were truly delicious, there's no other way to describe them. The staff seemed very stressed and tense. But it was very hot and busy.

Wir hatten einen Tischbestellt, wir wurden sehr freundlich, herzlich und gut gelaunt trotz vollem Restaurant empfangen. Wir alle (5 Personen) waren vom Ambiente, es ist nicht modern aber man fühlt sich sehr wohl und an Italienische Restaurants erinnert wie es früher war. Wir hatten Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte, unbedingt Vorspeisen teilen. Geschmacklich war alles super gut 👍 wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder. Preis Leistung 👍

5 stars are clearly not enough. We are on recommendation on March 30th. Went to the Osteria for the first time, had a really delicious meal, the service was unique, the atmosphere was great, so we made reservations straight away for the rest of our holiday. The food is freshly prepared, the bread is baked in-house 😋 The house wine comes straight from the wine barrel 🍷, full-bodied and wholesome. The service is very attentive, the boss personally comes to the table and asks if everything is OK. Unfortunately, a branch in Münster is not possible 😉 We are thrilled and would like to come back.
