We had a wonderful evening in this Italian restaurant! The pizza was just perfect - fresh ingredients and an incomparable taste. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting, you feel like you are in Little Italy on the North Sea. The restaurant is particularly child-friendly: the little ones are not only welcome here, but are also really well looked after. The entire service team was attentive, friendly and quick - just as it should be. We will definitely be back!

Here we were in an excellent Italian restaurant on the beach promenade in Cuxhaven Sahlenburg. The food tasted wonderful, the service was very attentive and very friendly. The balanced menu shows reasonable prices for great dishes. Visits during our frequent stays in Sahlenburg were, are and remain an absolute must. Thank you for great evenings. Keep it up.

Das war richtig gut ! wir sind im Winter zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr auf der Suche nach einem Abendessen gewesen. Gut das wir reserviert hatten. Um 1800 Uhr war das Restaurant bis auf 1 Tisch ausgebucht. Wir wissen auch warum. Leckeres Essen, herzlich freundlicher Service. Das macht Spaß. Großer gemischter Vorspeisen-Teller für 2 Personen, Gute Pasta und leckere Pizza - gut belegt.

We didn't have a reservation and all the tables were there on the first attempt proven. An attempt was made immediately to find a solution for us. We came back after 45 minutes and had a lovely evening with very good food and great service. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back.

There were three of us in this nice restaurant right on the coast. We had ordered garlic soup, pizza Pugliese, spaghetti scampi and spaghetti bolognaise for ourselves. The food was very tasty and the portions were large. The service was really nice and we felt completely comfortable. Unfortunately we were already too full for dessert😁. This restaurant is on our to do list again next year!

We have been guests at Il Giardino for many years. We always like to come because of the consistently good quality of the food at a reasonable price, served by carefully polite, friendly and courteous staff. Added to this is the beautiful location with a Mediterranean flair thanks to the palm trees and oleanders on the terrace with a view of the North Sea and mudflats.

We've just come out of the restaurant, we're excited and fed up with cardboard. We are currently on holiday here for a few days and decided on this Italian restaurant today. I've never experienced anything like this...where the chef personally asks you whether the food is enough or whether he should do something more. ❤️ We had 2 small children with us, they were welcomed with open hearts (super child-friendly). At least one ⭐ more for that. The service and the food were simply great and very usual. 1000 ⭐ from us.

The boss is very unfriendly, this is the second time we've eaten there. I ate there today for €33.10 and paid with a €100 note and the boss said; If I didn't have it smaller, he didn't have so much money in his wallet, he first had to make my note smaller somewhere else. When he came back he slammed five 20s on the table and said here they have their hundred. I then paid my amount, I mean as a restaurant you should have small notes in your wallet, especially as a boss. We were only on vacation here for 2 weeks, but if we come to Sahlenburg again, we won't eat there again.

Regular guests for years. Today we want to order take away at 6:30 p.m. This was rejected without explanation and in an extremely unfriendly manner. Where is that? On the flip flops? We're never coming back.

The staff here are just wonderful. They make the place! Especially the manager / owner makes you feel so comfortable even when you walk in rained on and with rained on dogs. We will be back!

We were in Sahlenburg for a little vacation. After a visit to the beautiful forest outdoor pool, we rounded off the day with a pizza. The pizza tasted great, three bowls of pepperoni and garlic sauce and parmesan were served. The service was nice and accommodating. We'd love to go there again!

I was here once years ago. Everything went smoothly and super quickly. Today, July 2024, I've been trying to get through by phone since 6:00 p.m. Nobody answers. Not for two hours. Well, almost two hours. It's closed at 8 p.m., and that's in summer. So I walked past. At 7:45 p.m. I was turned away with the words “we are no longer taking orders, it’s almost closing time.” Well then, if you don't want to make any more sales in a holiday resort shortly before 8, then that's the way it is.
