Excellent restaurant! The service is fast (one server speaks a little French, which is nice). The pizza is delicious, and the salad with shrimp and salmon is simply delicious. The tables are spaced apart, so you don't have to sit in each other's way. There are beautiful dishes and cloth napkins. The windows are large, and the view is pleasant. It's perfect!

Once and never again. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks and another 30 for our food order. After 1.5 hours we finally got something to eat. There's nothing wrong with the food; it was very tasty. The service was poorly structured. Neither the drinks nor the food arrived at the same time, which shouldn't be difficult with four people. The staff wandered from table to table without any structure and were completely overwhelmed. We had to ask for the bill a total of three times before someone came to our table. The mood of the evening was ruined. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Impudence in the Osteria - That's not how you treat guests! Simply incredible! We were in the Osteria in Bad Nauheim and were rarely treated so disrespectfully. The restaurant was almost empty, it was late afternoon, and we found a nice seat by the window at a free table for four. No sign of a reservation, no other guests - except for a couple who arrived shortly after us. But instead of being welcomed, we were reprimanded by an extremely unfriendly, angry employee. In a tone that was hard to believe, she ordered us to sit at a small table because there were “only two of us.” The manner was completely wrong - patronizing, condescending and just plain disrespectful. We felt like unwanted guests. A young colleague stood nearby, obviously embarrassed, while the unfriendly lady stood demonstratively at the counter again. No sign of hospitality or accommodation - instead just pure arrogance. Such behavior is simply unacceptable. Anyone who thinks they can behave like this towards paying guests should seriously ask themselves whether gastronomy is the right career. We left the restaurant immediately - and we definitely won't be coming back. Luckily we discovered a wonderful Greek restaurant in the small city center. We were warmly welcomed there, the service was loving and attentive, the food was delicious and the prices were absolutely fair. That's how hospitality works! If you are looking for a friendly, inviting restaurant: go straight to the Greek restaurant. Here guests are not only welcome, but also feel completely at home. Unfortunately, we absolutely cannot recommend the Osteria.

According to the opening times, the store is open until 11 p.m. When we got there at 10pm they were closed… Never again… 🤷‍♂️

Einfach nur unglaublich! Wir waren in der Osteria in Bad Nauheim und wurden selten so respektlos behandelt. Das Restaurant war nahezu leer, es war später Nachmittag, und wir suchten uns einen schönen Platz am Fenster an einem freien Vierertisch. Kein Hinweis auf Reservierung, keine anderen Gäste – bis auf ein Pärchen, das erst kurz nach uns kam. Doch anstatt uns willkommen zu heißen, wurden wir von einer extrem unfreundlichen, aufgebrachten Mitarbeiterin zurechtgewiesen. In einem Ton, den man kaum glauben kann, befahl sie uns, uns an einen kleinen Tisch zu setzen, weil wir ja „nur zu zweit“ waren. Die Art und Weise war absolut daneben – bevormundend, herablassend und schlicht respektlos. Wir fühlten uns wie unerwünschte Gäste. Eine junge Kollegin stand daneben, offensichtlich peinlich berührt, während die unfreundliche Dame sich wieder demonstrativ an die Theke stellte. Kein Anzeichen von Gastfreundschaft oder Entgegenkommen – stattdessen nur pure Arroganz. So ein Verhalten ist schlicht inakzeptabel. Wer glaubt, sich so gegenüber zahlenden Gästen verhalten zu können, sollte sich ernsthaft fragen, ob die Gastronomie der richtige Beruf ist. Wir haben das Lokal umgehend verlassen – und ganz sicher werden wir nicht wiederkommen. Zum Glück haben wir in der kleinen Innenstadt ein wunderbares griechisches Lokal entdeckt. Dort wurden wir herzlich empfangen, der Service war liebevoll und aufmerksam, das Essen war köstlich und die Preise absolut fair. So geht Gastfreundschaft! Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einem freundlichen, einladenden Restaurant sind: Gehen Sie direkt ins griechische Lokal. Hier sind Gäste nicht nur willkommen, sondern fühlen sich rundum wohl. Die Osteria hingegen können wir leider absolut nicht empfehlen.

The food was great! Beautifully presented and excellent quality for the price. The only drawbacks: no card payments accepted, the terrace is in the shade (very drafty; if you prefer warmer weather, you should sit inside), and we had to wait a very long time (about 45 minutes) for our food (salad and cutlet). The waitress first brought us the wrong bottle of water. If you want a relaxed lunch, you should definitely plan your time and eat quickly, as the restaurant closes early at 3 p.m.

The staff runs around in an unstructured manner like headless chickens, completely overwhelmed. Everyone takes care of every table. We were brought to the table - we had reserved. Then a condition came and brought a small welcome drink - very sweet and indefinable in terms of taste. She asked if we needed the menu - yes, that would be nice. Then came the greeting from the kitchen and again the question whether we needed the menu. After a while the next person came and asked if we needed the menu. You're starting to feel like you're having fun. It's been around 45 minutes now and there's no map in sight. After what felt like 15 minutes, a waiter finally came with 2 tickets for 4 people and said: The remaining tickets are taken. After what felt like another half hour the waiter came to take the order including drinks. The card said that card payments were currently not possible. When I asked if this was still current, I received the answer: Yes, protection money always has to be paid in cash, as you know. I was treated arrogantly, lecturer-like and condescending because I didn't know how to pronounce the dish correctly. When he brought the drinks, he put my cola in front of me with the comment: Here's the cola for you. Addressing customers as “you” is not possible. The food came after what felt like half an hour. Pizza really good, knife unfortunately completely blunt. For the bill we had to wave and draw attention to ourselves several times. My conclusion: That's what it's like when you want to walk with the big dogs and then you can't get your leg up. They want to be something that they don't achieve. It's a shame because the food was really good. I will never enter the store again and can't really recommend it.

I wanted to have something to eat with my girlfriend, the waitress just said "do you want to eat here" in a discreetly unfriendly way to greet customers. Another negative point is that no card payment is possible.

Happy all around! We ordered a pasta variation for 2, received a greeting from the kitchen and even a delicious tiramisu afterwards. Everything was very tasty and with staff who enjoyed their work and weren't annoyed in the slightest despite the stress. That actually still exists. We'll definitely be back!

We ate very tasty pasta and pizza at the Osteria. We can also only recommend the salad that we had as a starter. There was a delicious amuse gueule at the start and a bite of tiramisu for dessert on the house. We sat in the front part which was a bit drafty. Otherwise we felt very comfortable.

We had a reservation yesterday (already made in January). We were at the variety show and we couldn't be on time. So we called in good time to say that we were running late and would be there by 6 p.m. at the latest. Despite confirmation by phone, we stood there and didn't have a table. 10 people. It's a shame, it's a shame. There was no noticeable effort, no nothing! A waitress crumbled and didn't show up at all. The table was given to another group in front of us, no apology, just nothing! Very disappointing, you wish it was different! No professional way of complaint management. Everyone makes mistakes, then you came to admit it and try to turn it into a positive, but no, that wasn't possible. As a boss, to say I didn't do that, what kind of thing is that!

We had already made reservations in January and were laughed at for reserving so early. But we thought with 4 children and a total of 10 people we were on the safe side. Far from it!! Despite a call that we would be 10 minutes late, the table was given to another group in front of our eyes. From the staff, neither an apology nor an effort to seat us. We were simply left standing. Absolute fail. Reserved for 10, confirmed, called again in the afternoon, confirmed arrival time - group arrives on time, table gone! Some blah blah, then everyone disappeared, no apparent effort to organize anything. Sorry, it doesn't work that way. Fortunately, there are alternatives in Bad Nauheim with an understanding of what service means.

Erst mal das Positive, man bekommt zur Begrüßung und auch zum Abschied jeweils einen kleinen Gruß aus der Küche. Leider war unser Erlebnis dort, sonst nicht so gut. Die Kellner haben uns förmlich ignoriert, und wir haben es nur mit viel Eigeninitiative geschafft, eine Bestellung abzugeben. Von vier Essen war eins gut. Für meine kleine Tochter habe ich einfache Gnocchi mit Tomatensoße bestellt. Bekommen hat sie ein 18 € Gericht und die Gnocchi waren mit Gorgonzola gefüllt. Ich denke das trifft den Geschmack der wenigsten Kinder, den meiner Tochter jedenfalls nicht. Ich hatte eine Pizza, Toskana. Zusätzlich zur Beschreibung auf der Karte hatte ich alt schmeckende Fleischstücke auf der Pizza. Nachdem wir dies dem Kellner gesagt haben, hat er sich die Pizza verwundert angeschaut, mitgenommen und kam danach nie wieder in unseren Tisch. Sehr schade, denn die Einrichtung und die Lage des Restaurants ist wirklich richtig schön. wir werden aber nicht wieder hingehen.

But the worst thing was the rude staff who ignored us the entire time we were waiting. It felt like we weren't welcome. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be coming back.

We came here spontaneously and really enjoyed it. The food was very tasty and the portion size was appropriate. The service was very friendly and attentive. Right at the beginning there was a small greeting from the kitchen including a glass of passion fruit prosecco. As if that wasn't enough, there was also a portion of panna cotta on the house for everyone. We haven't been treated so generously in a long time.

I spontaneously went to this restaurant with my family. We ordered food and waited and waited, after 45 minutes the food came and it wasn't even really hot, as you're used to. But that wasn't all, while waiting for the food I ordered drinks three times from two different servers and nothing was ever brought. As if we weren't even there. When I wanted to pay, I was asked what we had, there was no information about our consumption either digitally or by hand. All in all, the worst experience I've ever had.

We were really spoiled. We immediately got an appetizer that was very tasty. My fish tasted good. The vegetables are nicely aldente. Price performance is right. Staff very friendly, totally relaxed and funny. The small tiramisu was the icing on the cake of a delicious meal. We'll definitely come back.

We were originally looking forward to a nice evening in the restaurant because we had already been there once and were very impressed with the food and service. We had reserved a table for 7:30 p.m. After we were greeted and told that the table was almost ready and provided us with an aperitif, we were ignored and literally left standing in the entrance. The food is still good, but the service is unsatisfactory and today it was far too cold in the sub-zero temperatures in the unheated winter garden - eating with a jacket and hat. And do you reserve far in advance for this? The restaurant was overcrowded and the service staff were completely overwhelmed and disoriented. Despite asking, you wait a long time until someone takes care of it. After we asked for the bill, waited a long time and went forward to pay, the service person sent us back to our seat. There were items on the invoice that we didn't have! This also applied to the starter, which was not even served. That doesn't work at all! It's a shame that the positive first impression is ruined by something like that. I've had enough! I'll go somewhere else in the future.

I was in the Osteria today by chance. When we first thought about the prices, we thought, OK, this is upscale Italian cuisine. But then came the big surprise. After we ordered, the first thing we brought was a small shot (strawberry/coconut). Afterwards there was a little greeting from the kitchen (pizza bread and grilled vegetables) After our main course, a panna cotta with berries was served. To round things off, a limoncello was served. This is an upscale restaurant with reasonable prices.

Staff was quite overwhelmed. Steak wasn't really edible (the gentleman at the next table also apparently had problems). I've had better pizza elsewhere. The best was the dessert. Finally, a wrong bill came (it was from the other table)

We were in Bad Nauheim over New Year's Eve and discovered the Osteria with an interesting menu. We could find a place in the romantic winter garden. The service was quick and professional: the card was there as soon as I sat down. There were also some daily recommendations. Then a greeting came from the kitchen and the order was taken. The menu offers everything I expect from an Italian restaurant, but is not overloaded. There is also a sensible selection of drinks. Drinks and food came promptly. We were really excited about the food: it was fantastic! I haven't had such good Italian food in a long time. After the meal there was a small dessert and a small limoncello. Overall a great evening with good food and drinks. Unfortunately there is still a downer at the end. We had to wait a whole 15 minutes to pay...

Wow - actually only the second choice, as we were almost laughed at at the Italian restaurant we actually chose when we thought we were allowed to eat there on a Monday evening without a reservation... Luckily - here in the Osteria we were looked after as welcome guests from the very first minute. Before ordering, there was a greeting from the kitchen including a small drink, and then even a small sample from the huge antipasti display case on the house. The food was high quality and super tasty, the wine was good. In between, always nice and classic Italian service. Last but not least, a small dessert came from the kitchen for free. Good thing we didn't end up at another Italian restaurant...

We were looking for a place near Dolce. This restaurant was recommended to us with the comment that the service is sometimes a bit slow. We had to wait half an hour before we could place our order for food and drink. Overall, we waited forever and the service was rarely noticeable. This made it very tight, even though we planned enough time. The food was very tasty. Because of the service, we would choose a different restaurant next time, although the food was very good and the rooms were very, very nice.

Potatoes are half soft and half hard. Vegetables cold and colorless. Service cannot cope with multiple customers and is unable to ask for additional drinks etc. Ambiance is fine. We didn't expect the tortellini to be homemade, but the quality was very poor, too much sauce, no extra parmesan. The second meal the chef ran out of curry because it was just too much. Dessert was good. We got a soup as a starter and a dessert as a dessert for free on the house. There was also an espresso, which in the end turned out to be normal coffee. Nevertheless, the service was great, friendly and jokes were made. However, this may possibly disturb other people.

Were there yesterday in a group of 6 people. We had reserved a table the day before. The service was celebrated, the atmosphere was cozy, pleasant and relaxed and the food was incredibly delicious - pure dolce vita! That's why I give it 10 out of 5 stars! Will definitely come back! 🫶🍀👍🎆

Schon beim Betreten äußerst freundlich willkommen geheißen. Wohlfühlatmosphäre, sowohl im Wintergarten als auch im Restaurant selbst. Alle Kellner sehr zuvorkommend und schnell. Empfehlungen abseits der Karte waren Trüffel, Fisch und Fleisch. Lustige Konversation mit unseren Kindern - das freut alle Eltern. :) Sehr leckeres Essen, u.a. spektakulär im halben Grana Padano-Laib direkt am Tisch flambiert. Guter Wein, gehobene, aber faire Preise. Panna Cotta aufs Haus. Kompliment - weiter so! (aktuell nur Barzahlung möglich, Bank/Sparkasse ca. 2 Min. zu Fuß)

This is my second time here and I can only say, my No. 1 restaurant in Bad Nauheim! You have the feeling you are in Italy and I haven't eaten pizza as delicious as on Sunday evening in a long time. Compliments to the kitchen and the very friendly staff!

On a very warm evening we asked to be seated outside but, we were told all Reserved. However, we noticed others were able to have outside dining where they had not Reserved. The service was almost no existent and the pizza was so hard baked it was almost impossible to cut. We ordered a dessert but after, waiting 20 minutes and noticing another table receiving they dessert, ordered after ours, we decided to pay our bill and leave. We felt we were not wanted as customers and we will never return. A restaurant to be avoided.

We order, among other things, a dish without mushrooms and small apple spritzers for the children and get the meal with mushrooms and large apple spritzers. For the children's meals, two of the adult meals are simply billed twice 🤔 "there is no button on the cash register". There is no card payment “the boss doesn’t want it”. Service is unpleasant, almost intrusive. Okay - you can do everything like that - without us in the future!

In my opinion the best Italian in Bad Nauheim. The food was excellent and the service, with lots of little goodies on the side, was excellent. It's always worth it, but if there are more than 2 people you should definitely reserve a table.

Would like to give more stars if I could. We had bruschetta delivered to us as a process. Then we ate veal steak. Huge portion. Afterwards came a homemade panna cotta, also free of charge! Wow wow wow... I can only recommend it. I also think the prices are cheap. Even then, I would have been willing to pay more. The service is also friendly & attentive. It feels like you're invited to dinner with good friends. Thanks to the whole team.

Danger! The guest is being ripped off here. Where should I start? The first table offered was so small (there were two of us with a dog) that I would have had to take the child from the neighboring table on my lap. Water was served, without glasses. Then we wanted to order...pizza? Not today, we have a staff problem...Aha, but lasagne (tastes like a ready-made product, loveless, almost cold cheese on top) and rigatoni with mushrooms and pork strips (you had to look for the meat, but almost only mushrooms) is quicker? Someone has to explain that to us. The question about a bowl for the dog was answered by saying that there was no one left because there were already 8 dogs upstairs!!!!! I then got up myself to find that there was a bowl at the entrance, but they were probably too lazy to fill it and bring it to us (I didn't see any other dogs either). The waiters completely disrespectful, rude and disorganized. The same thing happened to our table next door, a nice young couple! The work here is as if the staff thinks they won't come a second time anyway (because they're spa guests or vacationers)... Wrong thinking. We are locals (new residents) and would have liked to come back...but that definitely won't happen. We won't do any positive advertising either. What is also an absolute NO GO is the smoking table at the entrance. Where is something like that? In addition, only cash payment is possible! We can't explain all the good reviews. There was also no bread, a bit of oil, etc. We are used to something different from other Italian restaurants. Addressing me as Bella doesn't help either. We also had to wait over an hour for food. We also noticed that there was pizza (again?)... Sorry, but that was our experience and we always thought that if we want to be ripped off, we call Telekom... if you want to get ripped off, go to Osteria l'angelo d'oro... Ps. We didn't take any pictures, we wanted you save the sight (jam on the edge of the plate, is that supposed to be modern?). Ragazzi, you should do your homework again. Dolce Vita is different.

Wonderful restaurant. In the service 2 cellars, over 50 light gray = wonderful, pure joy, the other waiter also over 50 dark hair, horrible, has zero fun in his job. But this person won't spoil my enjoyment of this wonderful restaurant. I hope he won't be there next time.

Noch nie so einen schlechten Service erlebt! Freundlichkeit ist dort ein Fremdwort! Der Kellner einfach nur arrogant, ignorant und wortkarg! Kein freundliches Wort; man wird noch nicht mal angeguckt! Die Bestellung musste man im Eiltempo abgeben; ich war noch nicht mal fertig, weil ich nach Knoblauchsoße fragen wollte, da ist er einfach mitten im Satz abgedampft. Neben uns saß eine italienische Familie; wenn wir nur die Hälfte der Herzlichkeit bekommen hätten, die diese Familie genoss, wäre man ja schon zufrieden gewesen. Der frechste Satz kam zum Schluss, als uns ein Glas mit einem Dessert wortlos vor die Nase gestellt wurde ( was wir ja nicht bestellt hatten). Auf die Frage, was das sei ( kann ja sein, dass da Alkohol drin ist, was ich nicht mag oder eine Allergie drauf habe oder er noch auf die Idee kommt, wir sollen es bezahlen, weswegen der Hinweis „ Geschenk des Hauses“ nicht schlecht gewesen wäre), kam die knappe Antwort: „ was zu essen“! Überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen 👎

An Italian family sat next to us; If we had only received half the warmth that this family enjoyed, we would have been satisfied. This was mostly an odd experience. Initially the staff seemed friendly, but their constant touching of us on the shoulders or back got to be irksome after a while. My pizza was okay, but nothing to write home about. Certainly not something you would expect from an Italian restaurant. On the other hand, the tiramisu was excellent. When my partner wanted to go to the toilet, the manager instead suggested that they could go to his adjoining apartment together. Bizarre!!

It was mostly a strange experience. We were both somewhat uncomfortable with the fact that the staff touched us time and again. Neither of us have encountered this before. Certainly not like this. When my partner went to the restroom, the manager told her that she was welcome to go to his adjoining private quarters together with him! She was so shocked that she was speechless! Like I said, really strange and inappropriate behavior.

So you want a really good Italian restaurant that you want to go to OFTEN. Well-kept terrace and a wonderful guest room. The service, just a wonderful waitress on the front terrace. (10.5.). A greeting from the kitchen even at lunch and also for coffee. The food tastes wonderful and the timing is perfect. The only thing I regret is that I live more than 100 km away. Otherwise I would eat there almost every day. Bad Nauheim can be proud to have such a restaurant. But I won't miss any opportunity to go there often. Thank you to the people in charge of the restaurant and especially to the lovely waitress. She will remember the older man who came with a hat and be a little happy. Been there again after a long time (long distance, but still there). The kitchen has remained and the boss organizes everything wonderfully. Why is this restaurant not in the Cologne area??? Can't you see that I'm really reluctant to let you in here, because I don't have the slightest interest in this restaurant at all. So one way I would recommend to the chef is to use him in the kitchen, but never let him come into contact with guests again. Unfortunately, this person without any charm or desire was our waiter, not the light gray one! Thank God the over 55 waiter with light gray hair was also there. You can only congratulate the boss on him. He has an incredibly pleasant and positive way of speaking to guests. A waiter in an Italian restaurant couldn't handle guests better. Because of the waiter described above, I unfortunately have to deduct a point from the restaurant in my rating. CHEF.....I hope you're reading this, but tell you, we'll keep coming back to you.

We got there at 11:35am on a hot summer day. We were greeted quite unfriendly with the words "what time is it?" So according to the motto, what do you want here! Mind you, opening time was 11:30 a.m. When we asked, we were graciously assigned a table where we waited for 25 minutes without being noticed. We would have liked to order the drinks, but no one showed up. Mind you, we were alone in the restaurant, apart from one other guest. After we noticed that there was no interest in the guest, we got up and left. We've never experienced anything like this before and we often eat out.

I would be happy to recommend this great restaurant in Bad Nauheim. We eat there every time we visit and are more than impressed by the warm welcome, the friendly and attentive service, the excellent food and the ambience inside and on the beautiful terrace overlooking the park. One of the best Italians I know. Great pasta and pizza. The meat is also very good. Sometimes it takes a little longer, but I don't have a problem with that as long as the food is good.

There was no pizza, card payment was not possible. House aperitifs and greetings from the kitchen were served without comment. Shortly after the starters (instead of figs in the fried sheep's cheese there were three grapes), the main courses came straight away. We had just started with the starter and the table was full, so very poor service. It so happened that the main courses had already been cooked for a long time , so not fresh. The lasagna had zucchini instead of eggplant.

We've been eating here for several years. The food is always very good. Sometimes the waiters are a bit chaotic when there is a lot going on, so you have to smile. They're real Italians and they also have a sense of humor, which you have to be able to handle when a casual comment comes along. We celebrated here last year with 20 people and they gave us a really fair price.

I ate the worst lasagne there ever. Pizza with salami wasn't great either, salami didn't taste good.

We stood there for 5 minutes, were stared at, not even greeted, just looked at stupidly, there was no friendly welcome at all and we were only treated to lousy food, just like the clientele were just arrogant. Definitely not recommended. Catastrophe! There were several waiters who were “free” and were not taken in first. Incredible cheek! Not even worth 1 star.

Best pizza in a long time. The waitresses were all very friendly and kept checking to see if we were missing anything. At the beginning there was a small starter and at the end a dessert for free. Which was really very friendly and also very tasty. The food came very quickly, we (4 adults & 2 small children) had pizza, the salad with beef strips and a pasta dish. Everything was excellent. The location is also very good, with a view of the park. The Elvis Monoment on the left and the main street on the right. We'll definitely be back

Es gab einfach so eine Vorspeise und ein Dessert für die ganze Familie von der Bedienung aufs Haus, auch sehr lecker. Alles ging sehr schnell und das Essen kam prompt. Die Lage hervorragend, links das Elvis Monoment, vor dem Lokal ein großer Park und rechts die Hauptstraße. Wir waren sehr begeistert und würden nur zum Essen wieder nach Bad Nauheim kommen ;)

My new favorite Italian! Everything is just right here. From the beautiful ambience, extremely friendly and funny service to the absolutely recommendable food! This was my first time here but definitely not the last time! Absolute recommendation!
