A culinary gem in Cologne – authentic, warm, simply fantastic! This osteria is a real insider tip in Cologne (Marienburg)! As soon as you enter, you'll feel the warm, inviting atmosphere. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive from the very beginning – you immediately feel at home. What was particularly nice was that the chef himself came to the table, warm, interested, and with true Italian hospitality. The meal was a poem: The starter was a sophisticated combination of beetroot and goat cheese – fresh, delicately seasoned, and beautifully presented. The papardelle with veal ragù was homemade, wonderfully tender, and full of flavor – a real highlight. To finish, we had tiramisu and zabaione – both desserts were perfect, creamy and light, and made with lots of love. This osteria combines enjoyment, quality, and warmth at the highest level. If you love Italian food, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

By far the best pizza in Cologne. We go there several times a month, and it's always a great experience. Certainly not cheap, but definitely worth the money.

The most delicious Italian restaurant. You notice a very clear difference to other restaurants, because here they definitely cook with high-quality food. Quality in preparation is the top priority. A restaurant that stands out from all others. The service wonderful. The terrace area is heated and beautiful even in the cold season. Wow! I am thrilled and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Food good, service very accommodating and atmosphere nice. But the price/performance ratio doesn't fit.

The chef cuts all the pizzas with the same knife without washing it in between. I was invited there and asked if I could have a pizza with just tomato sauce because I can't eat animal products and there didn't seem to be any vegan or even vegetarian alternatives there because everything there is made with meat. They were even nice enough to serve me homemade fries with it. But when my pizza came there was just a piece of fish on it. I pointed it out to the waiter and he seemed to know what the problem was. He got the pizza maker and he apparently cuts all the pizzas with the same knife without washing it in between, which is why the piece of fish was still stuck to the knife with which he cut my pizza. Instead of apologizing, the two probably found it amusing and laughed about it. I didn't feel like I was being taken seriously at all. I'll never go there again! By the way, my pizza tasted like cardboard with tomato sauce.

Food was ok but prices too high. Tagliatelle nero sepia for €23 is fine. 0.75L bottle of water for €8.5 but cheeky.

We pre-ordered by phone for pickup. The pizza was ready within 15 minutes. When we picked it up, the prosciutto was freshly cut and the pizza was topped. Both pizzas were very tasty

Best Italian in Cologne Marienburg, the truffle pizza is sensational

Wanted to go for a nice dinner, but had a bad experience. Especially the service was unbelievably bad - waiters were rude and made us feel unwelcome. It's a shame that this food can be called Italian, as it really is not. Prices are absurdly high, which is probably due to the location of the restaurant. Will definitely not go again and would'nt recommend anyone to go there either.

The waiters are already unfriendly when you enter. Almost all tables were free, but there was still an aggressive comment that you should reserve in advance. Your own choice of seats was immediately rejected. Daily recommendations were a list of the most expensive items on the menu. The pasta from the menu tasted good. However, the pizza was soggy, oversalted and garnished with strange-tasting cheese. Our request to return the pizza was rejected. Unfortunately, it is difficult to understand why the waiters approach you negatively right from the start and give you the impression that they are better than the guest and that they would have mercy on you.

I came here for a spontaneous lunch. The waiter didn’t give me a welcoming feeling. I got a spot in the almost empty restaurant but he made it very clear that i should make a reservation in the future. I had a pizza that was too salty to eat. The attitude matches the bad quality. No walk-in or reservation in the future for me as I won’t be coming back.

The pizzas were really delicious and highly recommended! The service seemed a little annoyed. In the meantime there were small arguments between each other, which unfortunately were relatively loud.

A really classic Italian where everything fits. Maybe a little inconspicuous from the outside and easy to miss, but inside there is a great atmosphere. A changing menu with a wide selection of dishes. Service is very attentive. All dishes were top. A highlight is cheese spaghetti, which is prepared directly at the table from the cheese wheel. Will definitely come back.

Eigentlich alles sehr gut: Essen, Bedienung und Preise. Die Abstriche beim Ambiente erfogen wegen der erhebliche unangenehmen Geräuschkulisse, dieeine Unterhaltung unmöglich machte. Vielleicht sollte man einmal eine Akustikberatung vornehmen; z. B. auch in Akustikbilder und andere Geräuschminimierungen im Innenraum investieren.

Vorab: Die Nudeln im Parmesamleib haben uns hergelockt. Das Essen war köstlich! Die Küche hätte 5 Sterne verdient. Nun zum Service: Nachdem wir zu Viert ca 290 Euro auf der Rechnung hatten und ich als Zahler der Rechnung nur auf 300 aufgerundet habe, bin ich vom Kellner am Tisch mit den Worten "Na, war die Rechnung etwas zu teuer..?" empfangen worden. Anschließend war mein Limoncello aufs Haus auch nur minimal gefüllt, gefolgt von den Worten: "Sie wissen warum....". Wer hier <10% Trinkgeld lässt, riskiert vor der gesammelten Runde vorgeführt zu werden...

Alles perfekt, essen, Location, einfach toll

Wir haben Essen bestellt, ein Gericht fehlt vollkommen und eins ist falsche. Ich habe eine Allergie und drum gebeten darauf zu achten. Leider wurde es vollkommen ignoriert. Das Essen ist jetzt im Müll 20€ aus dem Fenster geworfen!

Einfach der beste Italiener in Köln. Paolo ist ein toller Gastgeber, das Essen sehr lecker und die Preise der hohen Qualität angemessen.

Paolo kenne ich schon seit den Zeiten im Setaccio auf der Zülpicherstr. und seit dem ich umgezogen bin gehen wir sehr oft wieder zu Paolo auf die Bonnerstr. Es ist wie, als ob man bei Freunden zu Abend isst. Es gibt immer saisonale Gerichte, die sehr gut und italienisch zubereitet sind. Aber wenn man Lust auf Pizza hat, dann muss man einfach nur Pizza essen, weil sie einer der besten in Köln ist! Egal wann wir da sind, ob zum Essen oder Mitnehmen, ist der Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch der Chef persönlich nimmt sich Zeit und für einen kurzen Plausch. Für einen typisch italienischen Abend mit sehr guten italienischen Essen und sehr guten Weinen, lohnt sich immer ein Besuch bei Da Paolo!

Ich habe mich über den Preis des gemeinsamen Vorspeisentellers geärgert. Für vier Personen 4 x 18 Euro zu bezahlen und dafür 4 halbe Portionen zu bekommen fand ich zu viel. Und ein kleiner gemischten Salat für 8 Euro ist auch stattlich. Auch der Service passte diesmal nicht. Vielleicht lag es auch daran, dass der Chef nicht da war. Fazit: Das war schon mal besser.

Wir sind extra 60km gefahren um einen gemütlichen Abend bei einem einem „tollen Italiener“ zu verbringen und wurden maßlos enttäuscht. Die Bedienung hat nicht ein mal nachgefragt ob wir noch was trinken wollen obwohl die Gläser leer waren, jedes mal musste man die Bedienung die anhalten und darauf hinweisen das wir noch was bestellen wollen. Unser Essen, wir waren 4 Personen, kam zu komplett unterschiedlichen Zeiten. Dazu muss man noch erwähnen das es für einen Samstag Abend nicht gut besucht war. Jetzt kommt allerdings der Oberhammer, nachdem wir mit dem Essen fertig waren haben sich der Koch und ein Kellner angefangen neben uns zu streiten und sich zu prügeln, daraus wurde dann eine massen Rangelei unter den Angestellten. Nachdem sich der streit gelegt hat ging das ganze noch 3 weitere male von vorne los. Einen gemütlichen Abend in ruhiger Atmosphäre stelle ich mir anders vor. Nachdem wir den Kellner darauf hingewiesen haben das sowas garnicht geht war sein Statement dazu „tut mir leid, aber sowas passiert ja überall“. Wir haben den Abend dann vorzeitig beendet und eine satte Rechnung bekommen die wir selbstverständlich vollständig bezahlen sollten. Absolutes No Go… NIE WIEDER!!!

Sehr gute Pizza! Perfekt zum Abholen. Leider ist die Bonner Straße sehr laut um draußen zu sitzen. Die Pasta im Parmesanleib ist leider nicht gut - sie schwimmt in Butter und hat kaum Geschmack.

Eigentlich ein schönes Restaurant mit etwas hohen Preisen. Als wir eine Vorspeisenplatte für 2 Personen bestellten haben wir uns auf Vorschlag des Kellners für die gemischte Variante entschieden. Das ganze hat uns dann satte 22 € mehr (44€ insgesamt, für eine Vorspeise für 2 Personen) gekostet ohne dass dazu auch nur erwähnt wurde dass es etwas mehr kosten kann. Unterirdischer Service

Leckere (eingedeutschte) italienische Küche mit leckeren Vorspeisen (warmes Brot, Kräuterspread, Oliven). Hohe Qualität der Zutaten, super freundliches Personal, immer auf Zack. Mein Lieblings Stammitaliener von nebenan. Egal ob Pizza oder Pasta, es schmeckt hervorragend. Gehe hier gerne mit Freunden und Familie essen oder hole mir mein Essen für Zuhause ab. Kartenzahlung möglich.

An der Lasagne war so nichts zu meckern, letztes Jahr zur gleichen Zeit war gefühlt mehr Fleisch drin, die Portion größer, dafür dieses jahr 1 Euro teurer. Es darf ja teurer werden, angesichts der steigenden Einkaufspreis, Personalkosten, Energie.. Aber weniger auf dem Teller muss auch nicht sein. Daher nur 4 v 5 Sterne (Essen wurde abgeholt, pünktlich fertig) Maccheroni war geschmacklich und preislich gerade so 3 v 5 Sternen. Lasagne allerdings lecker, siehe oben.

Wir sind wegen der Pasta im Parmesanlaib gekommen und wurden leider enttäuscht. Nicht nur dass der Laden übertriebene Preise hat, das Personal ist leider nur zwanghaft freundlich und für mich nicht sehr authentisch, leider hatten wir eher eine Buttersuppe mit Nudeln und mussten für über 80€ noch hungrig nach Hause gehen, sehr enttäuschend leider.

Eine Osteria im besten Sinn. Einfach in der Erscheinung, aber exquisit bei den Speisen und Getränken. Mit dem 'I frati' wird ein außerordentlich guter Lugana serviert. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorzukommend, hat ein Auge für die Gäste und den unvergleichlichen italienischen Humor.
