Unfortunately, I can't particularly recommend the store. For my taste, the noise level is too high, so it's not easy to have a relaxed conversation with friends. This is of course a very individual feeling. The cuisine claims to be "Italian", but unfortunately it is not (since I have an Italian wife, I can judge this quite well). After eating I immediately had problems with my stomach, which almost never happens to me. The service was subpar. You quickly got the impression that the service simply pleased me. If you wanted to order something, you had to be proactive so that the lady noticed and waved her over to the table. If you're looking for delicious Italian food, you're better off looking elsewhere.

I've been here three times and each time I've left the restaurant happy and satisfied. Value for money, this store is a 10/10. The pasta dishes taste so fresh and very tasty. We wait a maximum of 5 minutes and the food is there. So here's a really big plus point. The pasta house Il Mercado is definitely one of my favorite restaurants when it comes to pasta dishes (I haven't tried any other dishes yet, but I'm sure that they will also taste delicious). Definitely worth a visit. :)

For lovers of authentic Italian cuisine and gourmets, this restaurant is an absolute must. Nice, quick staff and it's very pleasant to sit there. But what actually counts in the restaurant - the food was not good at all: pasta "aldente" = floury, raw and bland in taste, strips of pepper from unripe peppers that taste cheap, pieces of chicken, maybe 3 the size of a thumbnail, sauce not very aromatic. Overall very sub-par products used. It's a shame, I really expected more. The espresso that was served to make up for it was good. The employee who apologized that I didn't like the food didn't seem to want to know what I had to complain about, so I'm posting my feedback here in the hope that it can help improve the quality.

The restaurant offers homemade fresh pasta and you can taste it too. Anyone who has ever eaten homemade fresh pasta in Italy knows what I'm talking about. The pasta was nice and al dente and the sauce was also very tasty, it's just a shame that so much had to be seasoned. The price-performance is really top. There is also a weekly menu with changing dishes.

There are very tasty and fresh pasta dishes here, the antipasti plate is great and so are all the red wines I've drunk there so far! And at a great price-performance ratio. I really like the ambience with the beautiful large window front and the service is always friendly 😊

Delicious, homemade pasta, great fish and very good service

We had dinner there with the company yesterday and ordered wine. When the bottle reached the table already opened, we became skeptical and marked it. When we ordered the second time, an open bottle was placed at the table and our marking was easy to see. The wine, even though we ordered the same one, tasted completely different. We then confronted the team and received apologies and excuses. At least we didn't have to pay for the wine and we were given a bottle as an apology. The food is average and cheaply produced with gastro tricks. To be fair, the prices are also very, very affordable. A bolo for 9.90 euros is not possible in the right quality. The antipasti were good.

It reminds me of the old Mövenpick Marché restaurant noodles. Classic pasta dishes that are reminiscent of those old times. Taste and price performance are completely the same. Quality is good. Here you should only eat pasta and nothing else. They specialize in your Marché pasta!

Could not find traditional pasta such as carbonara, l’amatriciana, cacio pepe etc as I was hoping for, the sauce (Sahnesauce) was not expected as well. Tried the bolognese because sounded closer to the original and was good, prices are very good for the food portion too. Overall is a good place for a meal.

I had a tomato soup and tortellini gorgonzola it was very tasty. The decor is very authentic and the service is very accommodating.

We have known the Pastahaus for a long time, and we always enjoyed coming here years ago, especially with children. The fact that it has survived the endless construction work on Friedrichstrasse (which has been going on for years) and the associated convoy traffic to this day is great. Now the two of us visited Il Mercato after a visit to nearby K21. Our impressions are very divided. The service was very nice, quick, courteous - that's how it should be. The dishes we had were a starter plate, Tortellini a la Panna and Spaghetti Aglio e Olio. Beforehand, there was warm bread with a dip from the kitchen as a greeting. That was good. Unfortunately, the ingredients on the starter plate lacked pizzazz. The tortellini are not homemade, but there were individual ribbon noodles in the sauce. Fresh Parmesan must be ordered as an extra. The spaghetti was homemade. Unfortunately, some of the noodles were dry on the edges, but there was water at the bottom of the plate. But the spiciness and amount of garlic went well. Maybe we were just unlucky, or someone was having a bad day. Otherwise the company wouldn't have been on Friedrichstrasse for so long and is defying the construction work.

Stable carbonara for 10€. Don't do anything! Gladly again.

Delicious pasta dishes for those on a slightly smaller budget... definitely recommended! The sauces are handmade and are freshly made with the right ingredients. This means you can react very flexibly to food intolerances. The seasonal pasta creations are the standard repertoire on the weekly menu. We are always very excited that pasta can be served so healthy and fresh at a reasonable price. Everyone is very nice and friendly and you can watch them cook. Thanks for many delicious pasta ideas!

Delicious homemade pasta at fair prices. One star is deducted because the sauces are very watery, the extra parmesan costs €3 and the carbonara is not a real Italian carbonara. However, ambience and service 5/5 stars!

Wir haben ohne Reservierung spontan einen Tisch bekommen. Die Bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen und das Essen kam gefühlt innerhalb weniger Minuten. Die Pasta schmeckte gut, obwohl die Tomatensoße vielleicht etwas länger hätte einkochen können. Leider war es etwas kühl, da die Tür ständig auf und zu ging.

Das Ambiente ist toll und die Pasta ist gut. Manchmal wünscht man sich etwas mehr Mut zu Kreativität - dann würde ich auch guten Gewissens 5 Sterne geben. Ich komme aber gerne wieder.

Das Essen schmeckt ein wenig fad. Ich vermisse die italienische Note bei den Gerichten. Geschmacklich geht das Ganze mehr in Richtung orientalisch als italienisch... Offene Küche, dadurch riechen die Klamotten entsprechend nach dem Besuch.

Die Nudeln waren ziemlich durchschnittlich und langweilig. Der Antipasti-Teller war ziemlich gruselig und hatte gestern bestimmt noch ganz gut ausgesehen. Wenn man davon ausgeht das die Karte relativ kurz gehalten ist, kann man wohl erwarten das doch entweder die Qualität oder die Quantität stimmt. Ist aber leider nicht so. Wie man auf dem Bild unschwer erkennen kann, alles ziemlich lieblos und überteuert. Da könnte man gleich bei der TeleKonkurrenz bestellen. Schade eigentlich..

Wer auf gutes Essen (man kann den Köchen beim Live-Kochen sogar zusehen) in einem der - wie ich finde - schönsten Gasthäuser Düsseldorfs Wert legt, ist hier genau richtig. Selbstgemachte Nudeln - köstlich.

Update vom 21.12.2023 Nach längerer Zeit bin ich mal wieder in Begleitung im Il Mercato gewesen. Die Minestrone war sehr lecker, da hätte der Teller ruhig etwas voller sein können. Die Spaghetti mit getrockneten Tomaten, Rucola und Parmesan waren sehr gut. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Allen hat es gut geschmeckt und es war ein gemütlicher Abend. Geschrieben vor einem Jahr: Nettes Pastahaus mit gemütlicher Einrichtung. Die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr unterschiedlich, entweder großartig, wie bei meiner Begleitung – ein Gericht von der Wochenkarte, oder mittelmäßig, wie bei mir – von der Speisekarte, das waren Convenience-Gnocchi in einer langweiligen Tomatensauce und einem Klecks Mozzarella zu einem ambitionierten Preis von 12,90 €! Das Glas Weißwein, das ich bestellte, war leider nicht kühl genug, das Glas sollte schon leicht beschlagen sein. Auf der Karte steht ein Glas Mineralwasser 0,3 l, weil das Glas offen serviert wurde, verstößt man gegen die Mineral- und Tafelwasserverordnung (MTVO), denn die Mineralwasserflasche darf erst am Tisch geöffnet und eingegossen werden, das scheinen viele Gastronomen nicht zu wissen.

Comida buena, y buena atención, pero un bote de agua de 750 ml cuesta 7€, carísimo, vergonzoso precio abusivo.

Wunschlos Glücklich, zu absolut fairen Preisen! Der Muscheltopf zur Vorspeise war hervorragend, so gut das wir noch den letzten Tropfen Sud ausgelöffelt haben. Die Hausgemachten Pasta als Hauptgericht haben auch vollkommen überzeugt. Tolle Weihnachtliche Kreationen wie Pasta mit Gänseragout, Apfel Rotkraut.

Essen minus 1 Stern. Die Muschel waren Schlecht. Meine Freundin ging danach nicht gut.

Der Besuch in diesem Restaurant war leider sehr enttäuschend ! Obwohl das Restaurant fast leer war, habe ich das falsche Essen erhalten. Hier hat man sich dann zwar sofort darum gekümmert, doch leider war es geschmacklich aus meiner Sicht völlig ungenügend. Das hatte mit Kochkunst wirklich nichts zutun wie ich fand und hätte jeder zu Hause auch selbst ohne Kocherfahrung hinbekommen. Die Sosse, wobei es bei Nudeln ja maßgeblich ankommt, war geschmacklos und die Gans als Beilage völlig trocken und zäh. Sicher auch schon öfters mal aufgewärmt wie mir schien!! Ich war hier überaus enttäuscht und kann nur jedem empfehlen, nicht dort zu essen. Immerhin kann man hier inzwischen mit Karte bezahlen.

Aufmerksamer Service, perfekt gekochtes Essen und ein Wohlfühlort. Wenn es noch eine Hintergrundmusik gegeben hätte, wäre ich nicht mehr nach Hause gegangen :). Ich komme gerne wieder....

Ich kann leider nichts Gutes an dem Restaurant finden. Die Kürbissuppe ging zurück, weil sie im Wesentlichen nach Wasser schmeckte. Das Hähnchen war ganz ok, der Service maximal desinteressiert. Auf die Rechnung haben wir lange gewartet und mehrfach nachgefragt. Muss man nicht hingehen, finde ich.

La comida es algo cara, y la pasta (al menos Los tortellini) no son caseros.

Vettige vinaigrette soep ipv frisse salade. Duidelijk geen verse pasta, maar overgare opgewarmde spaghetti.
