The best and most unexpected meal I've ever had, the food was amazing, the prices were amazing and the staff were really friendly.

Inviting ambience, quiet atmosphere in the afternoon. The service was very good, the food came quickly and was tasty. Recommended!

The quality of the food was okay, but it didn't look appealing. The noodles seemed to us not to be homemade or at least pre-cooked and not fresh. After a long conversation with the waitress, we ordered mousse au chocolat for dessert, but unfortunately panna cotta was brought, which is of course a shame. Otherwise we were served very quickly and the service staff was friendly. The ambience wasn't really worth mentioning, it was fine for a quick lunch during the break.

The food was average, so ok. Nothing special and not particularly fancy. Service was very good. The atmosphere is cozy. The open kitchen means the noise level is high.

Il Mercato – Homemade pasta & more in a stylish atmosphere Il Mercato offers a large selection of homemade pasta dishes, but also alternatives such as tarte flambée or dishes from the changing weekly menu - there is something for every taste. Particularly exciting: The pasta combinations are not always classic Italian, such as: B. Salmon with leek, which doesn't detract from the taste. We chose the truffle pasta and the salmon pasta. Both dishes came to the table quickly and the pasta was perfectly al dente. The truffle pasta was wonderfully creamy and creamy, with a generous helping of parmesan. The truffle flavor was pleasantly present without being too dominant - truffle oil was probably used here, but the overall picture was right. There were also a few fine truffle slices as a topping. The salmon pasta impressed with juicy salmon and a well-balanced sauce that didn't overpower the fish taste. The fresh vegetables rounded off the dish. The service was friendly overall, but the staff had a lot to do in the busy restaurant, so there were sometimes waiting times. A small point of criticism was the price difference: the map was not completely up to date, so e.g. B. the Aperol now cost €8.90 instead of €7.90. In total I paid €42 for the truffle pasta (€21) and two Aperols with tip, which is definitely a high price - probably justified by the location and the homemade quality of the pasta, but still more under the "treat yourself" category. However, there are also cheaper pasta dishes, so you don't necessarily have to dig deep into your pockets - so there is something for every budget. Conclusion: A solid, good restaurant with fresh pasta and a varied menu. If you love homemade pasta, you can either choose a special dish or choose a cheaper option. I'd love to come back to try more dishes! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Recommended for pasta lovers, whether for a special moment of pleasure or a down-to-earth meal.

Had a simple lunch there with some colleagues and enjoyed a speck and spring onion flammenkuchen (flat pizza-ish) whilst other did pasta. The service here is quick and easy and the food is generally good although you wont find authentic Italian if that is what you are looking for - its not designer or upmarket but well made and tasty enough for a local eats place. Service was friendly and quick, and they know their lunch crowd well getting us in and out within an hour, and at a decent price.

I saw spaghetti with tuffle and parmesan and unfortunately I was a bit disappointed because I could hardly taste the truffle. I suspect cheap summer truffles. Too bad. I found the noodles themselves and the sauce very tasty.

I'm very disappointed after my visit yesterday, I actually had fond memories of this store. Instead of the "linguine" with truffles I ordered, I received perfectly normal spaghetti, carelessly served in an oily "soup" (see picture). That alone isn't the reason for my bad rating, but rather the fact that when I asked, the waitress said "yes, it's linguine". For the sake of my companion, I saved myself further discussions. Clearly serving a guest something that isn't on the menu is bad. But then trying to take him for a fool is just plain cheeky. It's a real shame, as the last visit was well remembered - this one certainly won't be.

Definitely good food, good taste. Wine wasn't bad either, what ruined it was the service. There was a tinted girl working at the counter, besides throwing the plates on the table, she didn't take the time to ask us if everything was okay. We thought it was a shame. To top it off we had to pay and after one try the ATM stopped working, we thought this was completely nonsense because her response was faster than that of the ATM. We were then told to have to withdraw money from a machine, done without question, only to come back to find the table and receipt cleared. I politely asked what the amount was again, and she said a number that did not correspond at all to what I had to withdraw. After I pointed this out to her, I was told "where are you asking?" I didn't feel welcome here at all and I was never asked any questions. We wanted to order a dessert, but we never got the time to ask. I ended up taking the tip with me, only to get an even angrier look. I recommend it for dinner, but I won't come back until someone else is working the wait staff.

Finally been back after a long time. And the food lived up to the good memories. Highly recommended

We warn there on the evening of October 26th. Had nundels with grilled (roasted) duck in red wine sauce from the daily menu. Unfortunately I had to return the food. The duck meat was gray and cooked and the sauce was water. Unfortunately, the dish of pasta with spinach and tomatoes we ordered wasn't much tastier. Zero seasoning. Unfortunately, people don't cook with love here. Every amateur cook can do this better at home.

Ideal lunch spot for pasta lovers with excellent value for money. Homemade pasta, good coffee and wines by the glass.

Pastas were very good; forget the desserts. Service was ok. As for atmosphere, this could be so much cuter with better lighting instead of neon bulbs.

Unfortunately, I can't particularly recommend the store. For my taste, the noise level is too high, so it's not easy to have a relaxed conversation with friends. This is of course a very individual feeling. The cuisine claims to be "Italian", but unfortunately it is not (since I have an Italian wife, I can judge this quite well). After eating I immediately had problems with my stomach, which almost never happens to me. The service was subpar. You quickly got the impression that the service simply pleased me. If you wanted to order something, you had to be proactive so that the lady noticed and waved her over to the table. If you're looking for delicious Italian food, you're better off looking elsewhere.

I've been here three times and each time I've left the restaurant happy and satisfied. Value for money, this store is a 10/10. The pasta dishes taste so fresh and very tasty. We wait a maximum of 5 minutes and the food is there. So here's a really big plus point. The pasta house Il Mercado is definitely one of my favorite restaurants when it comes to pasta dishes (I haven't tried any other dishes yet, but I'm sure that they will also taste delicious). Definitely worth a visit. :)

Nice, quick staff and it's very pleasant to sit there. But what actually counts in the restaurant - the food was not good at all: pasta "aldente" = floury, raw and bland in taste, strips of pepper from unripe peppers that taste cheap, pieces of chicken, maybe 3 the size of a thumbnail, sauce not very aromatic. Overall very sub-par products used. It's a shame, I really expected more. The espresso that was served to make up for it was good. The employee who apologized that I didn't like the food didn't seem to want to know what I had to complain about, so I'm posting my feedback here in the hope that it can help improve the quality.

We had dinner there with the company yesterday and ordered wine. When the bottle reached the table already opened, we became skeptical and marked it. When we ordered the second time, an open bottle was placed at the table and our marking was easy to see. The wine, even though we ordered the same one, tasted completely different. We then confronted the team and received apologies and excuses. At least we didn't have to pay for the wine and we were given a bottle as an apology. The food is average and cheaply produced with gastro tricks. To be fair, the prices are also very, very affordable. A bolo for 9.90 euros is not possible in the right quality. The antipasti were good.

It reminds me of the old Mövenpick Marché restaurant noodles. Classic pasta dishes that are reminiscent of those old times. Taste and price performance are completely the same. Could not find traditional pasta such as carbonara, l’amatriciana, cacio pepe etc as I was hoping for, the sauce (Sahnesauce) was not expected as well. Tried the bolognese because sounded closer to the original and was good, prices are very good for the food portion too. Overall is a good place for a meal.

I had a tomato soup and tortellini gorgonzola it was very tasty. The decor is very authentic and the service is very accommodating.

We have known the Pastahaus for a long time, and we always enjoyed coming here years ago, especially with children. The fact that it has survived the endless construction work on Friedrichstrasse (which has been going on for years) and the associated convoy traffic to this day is great. Now the two of us visited Il Mercato after a visit to nearby K21. Our impressions are very divided. The service was very nice, quick, courteous - that's how it should be. The dishes we had were a starter plate, Tortellini a la Panna and Spaghetti Aglio e Olio. Beforehand, there was warm bread with a dip from the kitchen as a greeting. That was good. Unfortunately, the ingredients on the starter plate lacked pizzazz. The tortellini are not homemade, but there were individual ribbon noodles in the sauce. Fresh Parmesan must be ordered as an extra. The spaghetti was homemade. Unfortunately, some of the noodles were dry on the edges, but there was water at the bottom of the plate. But the spiciness and amount of garlic went well. Maybe we were just unlucky, or someone was having a bad day. Otherwise the company wouldn't have been on Friedrichstrasse for so long and is defying the construction work.

Stable carbonara for 10€. Don't do anything! Gladly again.

Delicious pasta dishes for those on a slightly smaller budget... definitely recommended! The sauces are handmade and are freshly made with the right ingredients. This means you can react very flexibly to food intolerances. The seasonal pasta creations are the standard repertoire on the weekly menu. We are always very excited that pasta can be served so healthy and fresh at a reasonable price. Everyone is very nice and friendly and you can watch them cook. Thanks for many delicious pasta ideas!

Wir haben ohne Reservierung spontan einen Tisch bekommen. Die Bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen und das Essen kam gefühlt innerhalb weniger Minuten. Die Pasta schmeckte gut, obwohl die Tomatensoße vielleicht etwas länger hätte einkochen können. Leider war es etwas kühl, da die Tür ständig auf und zu ging.

Das Ambiente ist toll und die Pasta ist gut. Manchmal wünscht man sich etwas mehr Mut zu Kreativität - dann würde ich auch guten Gewissens 5 Sterne geben. Ich komme aber gerne wieder.

Das Essen schmeckt ein wenig fad. Ich vermisse die italienische Note bei den Gerichten. Geschmacklich geht das Ganze mehr in Richtung orientalisch als italienisch... Offene Küche, dadurch riechen die Klamotten entsprechend nach dem Besuch.

Die Nudeln waren ziemlich durchschnittlich und langweilig. Der Antipasti-Teller war ziemlich gruselig und hatte gestern bestimmt noch ganz gut ausgesehen. Wenn man davon ausgeht das die Karte relativ kurz gehalten ist, kann man wohl erwarten das doch entweder die Qualität oder die Quantität stimmt. Ist aber leider nicht so. Wie man auf dem Bild unschwer erkennen kann, alles ziemlich lieblos und überteuert. Da könnte man gleich bei der TeleKonkurrenz bestellen. Schade eigentlich..

Wer auf gutes Essen (man kann den Köchen beim Live-Kochen sogar zusehen) in einem der - wie ich finde - schönsten Gasthäuser Düsseldorfs Wert legt, ist hier genau richtig. Selbstgemachte Nudeln - köstlich.
