The card looked good and appealed to us. The dishes, however, were rather average. We didn't find any advertised Vietnamese herbs (cilantro, mint, etc.) in the rice noodle salad and the respective dressings with vegetables were reminiscent of snack food. We won't come again as we've had much better Vietnamese food.

We went there last week with a larger group from work and it was really great! The food came at the same time and was very good. The service was really outstanding, I have rarely experienced such courteous staff as here. If we weren't from Bavaria, we would come here even more often! A visit to Ong Cat is recommended to anyone visiting Berlin.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Schöneberg, especially for vegan options. Which are plenty here. Everything from starters to mains and drinks is well-balanced, expressive, bright and hearty. Be prepared, the mains are huge. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. A must visit.

Great Vietnamese restaurant with super friendly staff. The service also responded to individual requests and the food was served within a few minutes. There is plenty of choice on the clear map. Price-performance is very fair.

It was really nice to receive such good guidance on our food choices. The server was friendly and composed, and the food recommendation was excellent in both taste and presentation. Even the servers taking their breaks with loud mobile phones strangely added to the atmosphere, reminiscent of a street restaurant in Vietnam. The good food and pleasant ambiance, paired with a solid and friendly atmosphere, make this place highly recommended. My friend and I had three dishes: two Pho and one fried rice dish.

We're still wondering how all the good reviews come about. The soups were minimini for almost 7€ and the main course Bun Bo had nothing to do with the actual dish, also really expensive at almost 14€. Too bad!

Me and my family stopped there by chance on a Sunday after visiting the flea market near by. We weren't looking for a place to eat, we just wanted to drink a bear, but after looking at the menu we had to order some food as well. The waiter was really nice and she told us all the information we needed before ordering. The food arrived after some time, which we were pleased by, because it means that everything was prepared on the moment. Two of us order some sushi and we both agreed that it was the best sushi we ever ate! The fish was obviously very fresh and the pieces were really big, I was in fact full after eating everything I ordered. (I order the "salmon queen roll" and the salmon nigiri). The rest of my family ordered some typical vietnamese food and they all loved it. Even my mum, who ordered a salad, was extremely pleased with it. On top of the extremely good food and the kindness of the workers, the bathroom was cleaned and fully stocked of every necessity. I highly recommend coming if you wish to discover the tastiness of the vietnamese cuisine.

Although I feel like I have 400 Vietnamese restaurants within walking distance, I like to take the longer route more often because I just find it so delicious. The staff is nice and the food and drinks are always great!

The waiter who served us today had very cool tattoos. The food was well presented and we were able to choose our own table by the window! The ambience is pleasant. Recommendation; Watermelon shake!

Very tasty food and great service

Wow i think by far the most mediocre Vietnamese! That cost minimum 13€ - €20+ . Aperol Spritz that cost more than an Italian restaurant! This is for people who just don’t know what food should taste like.

I recently stayed at Ong Cat and absolutely loved it! The service was exceptionally attentive and friendly. Every wish I had was met immediately and the staff always had a smile on their faces. The food was also excellent. Each dish was perfectly prepared and full of authentic Asian flavors. The fresh and high quality of the ingredients was particularly impressive. Ong Cat is definitely a restaurant I would recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I will definitely come back!

Thank you for a lovely evening, a round of dinner. Visually and culinary fun for the palate and the eyes. Attention: cash payment, very positive. And finally we were given a recipe. THANK YOU... We had duck, tuna and Saitan... a small criticism... the decoration wasn't the same on three plates and if asparagus is second in the dish it should be more like two asparagus tips.

Very nice place, in the middle of a washed up metropolis. There is a small summer veranda, but it faces the busy street and netasuem may like it. There's practically no one there during the day. Only rare office workers go there for lunch. I should also note that the menu is not very varied, with a couple of pages containing 3-4 variants of hot food, salads and a couple of soups.

The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Perfect location for students studying nearby.

There are lots of good Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin but this is unfortunately not one of them. The employee who served us was arrogant and rude. Our food was indeed forgotten. We reacted to the employees after 40 mins of waiting, one just ignored, as the other one shouted to us and said everyone's waiting, even though the restaurant was just half-full. Our food came first after we asked and, obviously the food was ready but forgotten to be served, we got cold curry which costs around 12€ and with a 40min waiting time. No service, we had to walk to counter and take menus by ourselves, and our questions about the menu/food weren’t answered. overpriced food and the restaurant has hygiene issues. (Killed 2 spiders and few bugs while eating...) rice was the worst. Rice in sushi and rice as a side dish for curry was extremely hard and dry. Horrible.

We went to ONG CAT for the first time on a recommendation and we were thrilled. Not only is the atmosphere really nice, but the service is also great. We have rarely received such friendly service and advice. The food was really delicious and very fresh, the food was served lovingly decorated - one thing is certain. We weren't here for the last time.

I'm here regularly. Always a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Always very tasty and a little more unusual than the everyday Asian restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is authentic and very inviting.

We had always wanted to go here and finally did it yesterday. There is a huge selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. We had Seitan sate and lucky bags as a starter, Seitan chili and rice noodles for the main course. We were particularly happy with the various vegetables and the well-seasoned seitan. The in-house drinks are also highly recommended. The staff is also super friendly and dogs are allowed. For us in Schöneberg the best Vietnamese We'll definitely be back

I was there with a few friends and they all had different food there, the food was very tasty. In summer it's nice to sit outside and the decor is great too. What I didn't like was that it took so long until we got the bill to pay.

Food and drinks: We got two starters, the summer roll and the spring rolls. The spring rolls were divine, but we can't say the same abou the summer rolls. For the main dish, we got the Sot, which is sort of the specialty of the house and is so good. It was 15€ for the plate. Service: Very good service, they spoke both very good English and German. Atmosphere: A lot of place sit side and outside, and is super dog friendly. They even bought our dog a bow of water, which was very kind. A downside is that you can only pay with cash, or with EC Karte (a kind of card here in Germany), so no Visa or Mastercards allowed.

It’s a very cozy place in front of Rathaus and with nice food. The service was good and fast. I just did not like the fact they have not credit cards payment and after dinner they started cleaning and move to get us out from the restaurant and it was only 22.30.

I had a birthday dinner here, and it was such a great pick! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing! There were a lot of choices on the menu with many options for curries and noodle bowls. The sushi was also delicious and contained generous amounts of fish in it. The interior of the restaurant is great as well. The space was large with great table placement. The lighting was cozy, but not too dim, and the noise level was great as well. Thank you for making my birthday celebration so great!!

We were a group of nine visiting the restaurant for a birthday dinner. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. They played a birthday song for us and we were given birthday shots as a surprise gift with small hearts on them which were really delicious too. The food was really great, I had the Glory duck, and the portion was really big, more than enough for one person. I liked it that there were greens on the dish as it was a balance to the heaviness of the duck and the sauce. We also like the grilled salmon very much, the crust was really crunchy but the fish inside perfectly juicy. The homemade drinks were also spot on, the breath of spring with coconut and passion fruit was my favorite, but the autumn dream was also a good choice. The only thing that I don't like in any restaurant and here as well is that you had to pay cash, they wouldn't accept any card.
