Pleasant meal with family, the cuisine is good and well presented.

I was there today with my girlfriend and I had the sot with duck and the salad with avocado and salmon. We were thrilled, it was very tasty and the waiter was very accommodating. Will definitely come back😍

Beautiful, cozy and harmonious atmosphere thanks to great light installations. Nice service. Unfortunately, the duck wasn't particularly fresh or crispy and the tamarind sauce was just sour and completely banal. Very unimaginative and boring food, which is tastier at the fast food restaurant next door. It's a shame about all that money.

The restaurant has a very pleasant and authentic atmosphere, which is perfectly complemented by excellent food. There are diverse options for both vegetarians and meat lovers. Our experience was very enjoyable, and we will definitely return next time, as it is one of the best Asian restaurants we have discovered here in Berlin so far.

The food was excellent but the service was very slow. It took 15 minutes to get a menu and we waited 25 minutes for drinks. Food arrived at the 40 minute mark. There were two waiters on duty and the restaurant was just under 1/3 capacity. It's such a shame because I very much enjoyed the food. The Glory Duck was delicious and I will happily re-visit the restaurant. If the service is better on my next visit, I will gladly upgrade the rating to 5 stars. The outside seating area is right next to a busy main road. I'm not deducting any stars for this but please bare it in mind if you'd like to eat outside. It's very noisy.

The card looked good and appealed to us. The dishes, however, were rather average. We didn't find any advertised Vietnamese herbs (cilantro, mint, etc.) in the rice noodle salad and the respective dressings with vegetables were reminiscent of snack food. We won't come again as we've had much better Vietnamese food.

We went there last week with a larger group from work and it was really great! The food came at the same time and was very good. The service was really outstanding, I have rarely experienced such courteous staff as here. If we weren't from Bavaria, we would come here even more often! A visit to Ong Cat is recommended to anyone visiting Berlin.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Schöneberg, especially for vegan options. Which are plenty here. Everything from starters to mains and drinks is well-balanced, expressive, bright and hearty. Be prepared, the mains are huge. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. A must visit.

It was really nice to receive such good guidance on our food choices. The server was friendly and composed, and the food recommendation was excellent in both taste and presentation. Even the servers taking their breaks with loud mobile phones strangely added to the atmosphere, reminiscent of a street restaurant in Vietnam. The good food and pleasant ambiance, paired with a solid and friendly atmosphere, make this place highly recommended. My friend and I had three dishes: two Pho and one fried rice dish.

We're still wondering how all the good reviews come about. The soups were minimini for almost 7€ and the main course Bun Bo had nothing to do with the actual dish, also really expensive at almost 14€. Too bad!

Me and my family stopped there by chance on a Sunday after visiting the flea market near by. We weren't looking for a place to eat, we just wanted to drink a bear, but after looking at the menu we had to order some food as well. The waiter was really nice and she told us all the information we needed before ordering. The food arrived after some time, which we were pleased by, because it means that everything was prepared on the moment. Two of us order some sushi and we both agreed that it was the best sushi we ever ate! The fish was obviously very fresh and the pieces were really big, I was in fact full after eating everything I ordered. (I order the "salmon queen roll" and the salmon nigiri). The rest of my family ordered some typical vietnamese food and they all loved it. Even my mum, who ordered a salad, was extremely pleased with it. On top of the extremely good food and the kindness of the workers, the bathroom was cleaned and fully stocked of every necessity. I highly recommend coming if you wish to discover the tastiness of the vietnamese cuisine.

Very tasty food and great service

Wow i think by far the most mediocre Vietnamese! That cost minimum 13€ - €20+ . Aperol Spritz that cost more than an Italian restaurant! This is for people who just don’t know what food should taste like.

I recently stayed at Ong Cat and absolutely loved it! The service was exceptionally attentive and friendly. Every wish I had was met immediately and the staff always had a smile on their faces. The food was also excellent. Each dish was perfectly prepared and full of authentic Asian flavors. The fresh and high quality of the ingredients was particularly impressive. Ong Cat is definitely a restaurant I would recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I will definitely come back!

Thank you for a lovely evening, a round of dinner. Visually and culinary fun for the palate and the eyes. Attention: cash payment, very positive. And finally we were given a recipe. THANK YOU... We had duck, tuna and Saitan... a small criticism... the decoration wasn't the same on three plates and if asparagus is second in the dish it should be more like two asparagus tips.

Very nice place, in the middle of a washed up metropolis. There is a small summer veranda, but it faces the busy street and netasuem may like it. There's practically no one there during the day. Only rare office workers go there for lunch. I should also note that the menu is not very varied, with a couple of pages containing 3-4 variants of hot food, salads and a couple of soups.

The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Perfect location for students studying nearby.

There are lots of good Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin but this is unfortunately not one of them. The employee who served us was arrogant and rude. Our food was indeed forgotten. We reacted to the employees after 40 mins of waiting, one just ignored, as the other one shouted to us and said everyone's waiting, even though the restaurant was just half-full. Our food came first after we asked and, obviously the food was ready but forgotten to be served, we got cold curry which costs around 12€ and with a 40min waiting time. No service, we had to walk to counter and take menus by ourselves, and our questions about the menu/food weren’t answered. overpriced food and the restaurant has hygiene issues. (Killed 2 spiders and few bugs while eating...) rice was the worst. Rice in sushi and rice as a side dish for curry was extremely hard and dry. Horrible.

We went to ONG CAT for the first time on a recommendation and we were thrilled. Not only is the atmosphere really nice, but the service is also great. We have rarely received such friendly service and advice. The food was really delicious and very fresh, the food was served lovingly decorated - one thing is certain. We weren't here for the last time.

I'm here regularly. Always a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Always very tasty and a little more unusual than the everyday Asian restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is authentic and very inviting.
