Hanoi Deli Kurfürstendamm in Berlin

I've been coming here for 3 years but the quality of the food has deteriorated and the quantity has been reduced. The furniture is falling apart and everything just seems cheap. Plus it's really cold and uncomfortable in winter...

Always happy to come here. The food is delicious, the staff is nice, very tasty homemade drinks.

Unfortunately my visit to this sushi restaurant was a disappointment. The quality of the sushi left a lot to be desired - the fish wasn't particularly fresh and the rice had an unpleasant consistency. The service was really nice and attentive. Therefore an additional star. The price-performance ratio is therefore absolutely not justified. I expected much more and will not eat here again.

We were there with a Groupon voucher. The price for what we received doesn't seem very good to us. The savings seem a bit excessive. Compared to the Groupon photo, it also appeared to be less sushi. In our opinion, the quality of the food was good. Ambience quite simple.

Unfortunately, the service has been very unfriendly for a few months. If you want to take food with you, it is not offered as it is written on the voucher. In addition, a reservation for certain tables was not taken into account twice. Despite the empty restaurant, we had to wait more than half an hour for service on several occasions. Unfortunately we have to look for something else.

No, there is no quality behind the facade. I had wanted Vietnamese food, chicken, vegetables and rice. For €56 (2 people) and 2 beers it was too expensive. Afterwards I had a stomach ache. Avoid!

I came beforehand to set the table and I also had a small cake with me and spontaneously asked if they could bring it at the end. That wasn't a problem and other spontaneous ideas also worked great! That made me so happy. The staff were so friendly and always asked if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. We were in the restaurant for quite a long time. The atmosphere was great and the music was just so well chosen. At the end, when the cake arrived, there was even birthday music and congratulations! In summary, it was a wonderful experience with very attentive staff and delicious food :)

The food was really tasty, very fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was also very nice.

We have been to this store many times and have always been very enthusiastic but to be honest the enthusiasm has waned. Not that we were served unfriendly, but I missed the previous warmth and the sushi was no longer what it was 2 years ago.

El personal no era muy amable, el inodoro era apestoso, y las sillas necesitan ser definitivamente reemplazadas. El sushi estaba bien, pero el Ramen era horrible, nunca había tenido un ramen así. Y toda mi familia, incluyéndome a mí, tuvo un horrible dolor de estómago y un poco de diarrea.

Not very good. Food is alright, just like in any other Asian restaurant but service is shitty they forgot we existed a few times and forgot to get us some of the thing we ordered so we always had to ask twice + servers weren't very nice didn't smile and probably didn't want us to be in the same room as them.😭

The four of us made a reservation through Fork today and there was supposed to be a 30% discount on the meal. When we arrived on site, we also said that we had reserved through Fork. We were shown to our table. At the end of the evening we were handed the bill. However, this did not contain a 30% discount, which meant that the work had not been done with Fork for a long time and they couldn't do anything. If I had known that, I would never have entered this store.

La comida era increíble, especialmente los aperitivos y el sushi de pollo. Para la comida principal el mejor plato fueron los fideos de pollo picante (muy picante). Para el desierto tomamos el volcán de chocolate. En general, una gran experiencia

Wonderful restaurant, also for my glutenfree husband. Lovely fresh, tasty food and the best sushi I’ve had in years. Flexible personnel who actively accomodated our every wish. Our 12 yr old daughter enjoyed the mango nigiri amongst other things. It was no problem to share starters for her at the same time as the main course for us. Wish this restaurant had a place in our home town

Really incredibly friendly staff and good food :). I've been there several times with my family and we all think that the food there is getting better and better ;) I can only recommend it! Edit (10/16/2024): Unfortunately, the restaurant has declined significantly. The last few times I was here, the soups were very tasteless, the sushi didn't taste fresh (even though the restaurant was empty) and the ice cream was served very poorly. Of course, there is also the fact that it is more expensive than most comparable restaurants (the price difference was always worth it, but now it tastes much duller and has therefore become too expensive. Unfortunately.)

My granddaughter and I had a Groupon voucher for the sushi. We had to pay extra for the wasabi, and the service wasn't very friendly, like the employee's packing up. When we got home everything was shaken up and the wasabi wasn't in the bag. LG😬

Delicious. Fresh vegetables. Only the cook knows whether the mango salad is really glutamate-free. Everything tasted excellent and the waiter was very friendly. Unfortunately, he couldn't tell me what ingredients the vegan chicken consists of. Would be good to know about food intolerances.

Food super tasty. Service not good. The waiter simply forgot about us with the drinks. But the sushi is really tasty and super fresh.

Nice staff, large and tasty portions

I originally wanted to eat Chinese food, but it was not open. I saw that the restaurant at the intersection had Vietnamese pho and Japanese sushi, so I came in to try it. The service was very good and the food was delicious. I ordered beef pho and beef spring rolls. , and a cup of lemon soda. I wasn’t satisfied with it, so I took out a fried chicken + fried rice🫠

A very simple restaurant, but still very good food. We each had different duck, and it was prepared very well. In addition to Asian-Vietnamese, there is also really good sushi. Overall we were very satisfied.

The friendly waitress recommended the No. R3 Bun thit nuong to us and it didn't take long before it was already on the table. The meat was very well seasoned and the salad was fresh. I would warmly recommend the cozy Local Hanoi Deli to everyone.

I've been going there for a long time. The food has remained very good over the years. Unfortunately I can't warm up to the service. Too inflexible and not as attentive as I would like.

Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen, auch ohne Reservierung, einen sehr schönen Platz. Modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ohne viel Schnickschnack. Schnelle und professionelle Bestellung und Bewirtung. Essen war einfach ein Genuß, Sushi wunderbar frisch und sehr köstlich. Für uns ein Muß bei jedem Berlinbesuch.

Wir haben das Hanoi Deli um 18:15 Uhr besucht nachdem ich ein paar Tage vorher über The Fork eine Buchung vorgenommen habe. Das Restaurant ist relativ spartanisch eingerichtet, das Möbliar ist aber wiederum sehr gemütlich. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfassen aber nicht zu groß. Es ist für jeden Freund asiatischer Küche etwas dabei. Wir haben eine Bowl mit Lachs und ein Reisgericht mit gebratener Ente bestellt. Dazu eine Maracuja Dream und eine Coriander Lemonade. Da wir aufgrund eines Anschlusstermines nicht sehr viel Zeit hatten hat es uns sehr gefreut, dass es schnell ging und das Essen nach knapp 10 min. kam. Leider hat es mit den Getränken etwas länger gedauert - noch weitere 5 min. Das ist aber auch schon das einzig negative. Beide Hauptgerichte haben sehr gut geschmeckt, waren schön angerichtet und auch reichlich - das Foto zeigt das Reisgericht wo die gebratene Entenbrust in der Mangosacue auf einem separaten Teller serviert wird.. Wir sind satt geworden. Und das für 16,90 Euro für die Bowl und 18,90 für das Reisgericht was ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist. Die Rechnung kam ebenfalls sehr schnell und mit der Bezahlung hat alles geklappt, so dass wir schon nach 45 min. das Restaurant satt und glücklich wieder verlassen konnten.

Great place. Very very comfortable. And the dishes are so delicious, we almost bit our fingers off. Ate papaya 🥗, grilled shrimp in coconut sauce and vegetables, hands on the grill with vegetables and soup with chicken and mushrooms...everything was super tasty, even ate the spicy papaya salad like crazy.

Very tasty but the ice-cold toilets are unacceptable. Then the door to the ice-cold courtyard is always open... Then the restaurant also gets very cold. In addition, two dogs belonging to an employee or boss bark brightly and loudly. Relaxation during the lunch break is not available...

Nice place, although I would do without the kitsch music and the TV screens. Service was okay. The food was overall good but I find it a shame that the salmon was drenched in so much sauce.

Great restaurant, new ambience on Kurfürstendamm. There is a lunch menu where the prices are really reasonable and the normal menu. The price was normal for the area and the service was very nice. The cocktails were also very tasty.

Although located on the Kudamm, the restaurant is surprisingly inexpensive and the food is wonderfully decorated and tasty. A perfect place to be in front of the Schaubühne - I like to go there before or after the theater performance.

The atmosphere in the evenings is pretty Bougie. Well lit, well decorated, they were themed for Christmas, including the staff. The waiters and waitresses were young guys and girls and super friendly. They tried to engage respectfully in conversations, which I found very warm-hearted as most of the restaurants are superextraprofessional and less intimate. Food can be better, not the best Vietnamese food I have tasted in Berlin, but definitely in the top 10.

Good portions of the food dishes (sweet potato fries were a lot) but for the price, I've had much better Vietnamese all around the city. The restaurant ambience is quite relaxed and the service is quick.

Einfach nur lecker, das beste beste sushi was ich je gegessen habe, kann ich jedem empfehlen

Wir waren heute hier essen. Das Essen war total lecker sehr empfehlenswert, das Anbiente genau so. Beide Kellnerinnen waren super, äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen den Laden auf jeden Fall weiter und werden jetzt öfter kommen.

Eine alte Dame hat uns vergessen

Eine sehr ältere mitarbeiterin hat mich aufgefordert zu gehen, da ich türkisch gesprochen hab und sie meinte einfach nur „wenn sie schon türkisch reden, dann im döner laden gegenüber“. Ich war sprachlos. Das essen war okay aber der service, abscheulich.

Das Essen war top und sehr lecker, das Ambiente ebenso! Nur die Bedienung wirkte etwas gestresst und unglücklich darüber, dass wir noch kamen. Vielleicht lag es an unserer Uhrzeit und dem sich langsam leerenden Laden, aber dennoch hätten wir uns mit etwas mehr Lächeln willkommener gefühlt.

The food is decent, but the staff is at least passive, rather rude. It’s not mentioned that card payment is not a possibility - on the contrary, on the door they have the logos of Mastercard, and other companies. So I intended to pay via card. The waitress said that they don’t accept. I didn’t had cash on me, so I told her to wait until I get. She grabbed my Kindle from my table with a fast movement, basically they treated me like some criminal. I returned from the ATM and asked back my belongings. Sadly I only saw later, that she damaged the case with grease. Won’t recommend it to anyone.

I purchased a coupon as a present and we tried to use it yesterday. The owner, maybe, az elderly lady was very unfriendly from the beginning what was unacceptable. Her daughter, probably, tried to save the night but the lady didn't want to become more friendly. The food was otherwise nice. It was a bad experience after all.

Service der Kellner unterirdisch. Nur der Service der älteren Frau war super!

Das kulinarische Erlebnis war äußerst erfreulich; das Essen erwies sich als äußerst schmackhaft. Bedauerlicherweise gestaltete sich der Service seitens der vergleichsweise jungen Kellner äußerst mangelhaft. Glücklicherweise konnte im Anschluss eine überaus zuvorkommende ältere Dame meinen Bedürfnissen mit außerordentlicher Aufmerksamkeit gerecht werden.

In den vergangenen Tagen habe ich dort gegessen, jedoch war der Service der jungen Kellnerinnen und Kellner überhaupt nicht zufriedenstellend – sie waren leider nicht aufmerksam! Die einzige, die sich um mich gekümmert hat, war die ältere Kellnerin. Ihr Service war super.

Mitarbeiter am Telefon, freundlich und flexibel in der Anpassung der Reservierung. Die Servicekraft (weiblich) im Restaurant Abends war super serviceorientiert und freundlich,bravo. Nun zum Essen: Eher durchschnittliche Qualität. Sushi in Ordnung,wie auch die Suppe. Mein Hauptgericht (Rind), zäh. Habe ich zurück gehen lassen. Ersatz war Huhn, auch so lala . Zusammenfassend: es gibt bessere Alternativen!

Aufmerksame,sehr freundliche Bedienung,wir hatten das vietnamesische Menü,das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch und ein schönes Ambiente...

One of the best pho's I've ever had. Magnificent taste and the spices were great. Good service and nice chill atmosphere.

Waren heute dort, absolut top. Essen frisch zubereitet, mit frischen Zutaten, absolut lecker und wunderbar angerichtet. Sehr freundliches Personal, was man ja heutzutage nicht mehr überall findet. Wir werden auf jeden Fall Hanoi Deli weiter empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

So ein schöner laden. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl und sehr willkommen, es ist so schön zu sehen wie vielfältig es dort ist und man fühlt sich von jeder Kultur willkommen und respektiert! Sehr freundliche und herzliche Mitarbeiter :) Das Essen schmeckt auch ausgezeichnet!

Große Auswahl an Gerichten im modern und klar eingerichteten Lokal. Für den Kurfürstendamm faire Preise, sogar mit eigener Mittagskarte. Das Personal ist auffallend freundlich und flink. Die Parkplatzsituation ist schwierig aber dafür kann kein Stern abgezogen werden

War mit meine Schwester da und bei der Bestellung müssten wir ständig hören " ein Moment noch" und das hat ca 20 Minuten gedauert und ich müsste damit meine Schwester alleine lassen und gehen. Schade. Aber meine Schwester hat das Essen geschmeckt wie sie mir später erzählt hat.

Tolle Vielfalt an frischen Speisen, gute Getränke und nettes Personal...ein Restaurant unserer Wahl. Wir kommen hier gerne her und können das jedem empfehlen der die vietnamesische Küche mag.

Über die Bewertungen bei Google gefunden und kann mich nur anschließen - ein rundum tolles Restaurant. Eher klein, also macht am Abend und am Wochenende sicherlich Sinn zu reservieren. Die Mitarbeitenden sind nett und zuvorkommend und das Essen einfach nur lecker.

Komme in unregelmäßigen Abständen zum Essen vorbei und wurde nie enttäuscht.
