Hanoi Deli Kurfürstendamm in Berlin

- Wrong soup arrived - They reacted strangely when I tried to exchange it - Ordered sushi, I've been sitting here for an hour and still nothing (Live review: I'm still here and have time to write this review) - Very bad restaurant - I can't recommend it to anyone from the bottom of my heart - Sad - Never again.

Highly recommended! I had wonton soup and a mango salad with tofu. Both came with fresh herbs and everything tasted delicious. I'd definitely come back. 👍👍👍👍

Price reasonable, food very tasty

Had a great, quick dinner at Hanoi Deli. The Teriyaki Chicken was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Paired it with a spicy Ginger Beer and a Heineken. The bill felt like a fair price for a satisfying and reliable meal. Would definitely recommend

The food is pretty mediocre and quite overpriced for the quality. The only item we were satisfied with was the coke zero.

I ordered chicken with rice and realized I didn't like the dish at all. I called the waitress to decline the dish and order a different one. At the end of dinner, I was unpleasantly surprised to find that they charged me for the first dish and demanded I pay for it. The waitress ignored all my explanations that the dish wasn't tasty, and I ate a few pieces of chicken and some salad, simply repeating that I had to pay the entire bill. I think she behaved unprofessionally. Everything was only resolved when I demanded to speak to the manager, with whom I hadn't communicated. Apparently, the manager was initially unaware of the conflict, but thankfully, everything was later resolved, and the chicken with rice was removed from the bill. I was unpleasantly impressed with this restaurant, although we really enjoyed the dish my wife ordered.

Solid, solid Vietnamese food! We ordered various curries, which arrived quickly and hot! However, the shipping wasn't optimal, and a lot of the curry spilled out of one package. Additionally, the portion of vegetables was quite small, which is a shame, considering the rice and side dishes are very generous. Therefore, overall, 3.5 stars, with a tendency towards 4 if the shipping and portion size are improved.

My first culinary experience with Vietnamese cuisine. A mix of flavors in both the soup and the salad, the tea is also surprising. A very positive culinary experience. Card payment possible from €15 (this is just for information because in a few others you can't pay by card)

I tried the lunch special here. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the sushi, as the rice was too mushy and sticky and had little flavor. The pho soup, on the other hand, was good—flavorful and without the overpowering "chicken powder" flavor found in many other Vietnamese restaurants in the city.

I've been coming here for 3 years but the quality of the food has deteriorated and the quantity has been reduced. The furniture is falling apart and everything just seems cheap. Plus it's really cold and uncomfortable in winter...

The quality of the sushi left a lot to be desired - the fish wasn't particularly fresh and the rice had an unpleasant consistency. The service was really nice and attentive. Therefore an additional star. The price-performance ratio is therefore absolutely not justified. I expected much more and will not eat here again.

We were there with a Groupon voucher. The price for what we received doesn't seem very good to us. The savings seem a bit excessive. Compared to the Groupon photo, it also appeared to be less sushi. In our opinion, the quality of the food was good. Ambience quite simple.

I came beforehand to set the table and I also had a small cake with me and spontaneously asked if they could bring it at the end. That wasn't a problem and other spontaneous ideas also worked great! That made me so happy. The staff were so friendly and always asked if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. We were in the restaurant for quite a long time. The atmosphere was great and the music was just so well chosen. At the end, when the cake arrived, there was even birthday music and congratulations! In summary, it was a wonderful experience with very attentive staff and delicious food :)

We have been to this store many times and have always been very enthusiastic but to be honest the enthusiasm has waned. Not that we were served unfriendly, but I missed the previous warmth and the sushi was no longer what it was 2 years ago.

El personal no era muy amable, el inodoro era apestoso, y las sillas necesitan ser definitivamente reemplazadas. El sushi estaba bien, pero el Ramen era horrible, nunca había tenido un ramen así. Y toda mi familia, incluyéndome a mí, tuvo un horrible dolor de estómago y un poco de diarrea.

Not very good. Food is alright, just like in any other Asian restaurant but service is shitty they forgot we existed a few times and forgot to get us some of the thing we ordered so we always had to ask twice + servers weren't very nice didn't smile and probably didn't want us to be in the same room as them.😭

The four of us made a reservation through Fork today and there was supposed to be a 30% discount on the meal. When we arrived on site, we also said that we had reserved through Fork. We were shown to our table. At the end of the evening we were handed the bill. However, this did not contain a 30% discount, which meant that the work had not been done with Fork for a long time and they couldn't do anything. If I had known that, I would never have entered this store.

Wonderful restaurant, also for my glutenfree husband. Lovely fresh, tasty food and the best sushi I’ve had in years. Flexible personnel who actively accomodated our every wish. Our 12 yr old daughter enjoyed the mango nigiri amongst other things. It was no problem to share starters for her at the same time as the main course for us. Wish this restaurant had a place in our home town

My granddaughter and I had a Groupon voucher for the sushi. We had to pay extra for the wasabi, and the service wasn't very friendly, like the employee's packing up. When we got home everything was shaken up and the wasabi wasn't in the bag. LG😬

Really incredibly friendly staff and good food :). I've been there several times with my family and we all think that the food there is getting better and better ;) I can only recommend it! Edit (10/16/2024): Unfortunately, the restaurant has declined significantly. The last few times I was here, the soups were very tasteless, the sushi didn't taste fresh (even though the restaurant was empty) and the ice cream was served very poorly. Of course, there is also the fact that it is more expensive than most comparable restaurants (the price difference was always worth it, but now it tastes much duller and has therefore become too expensive. Unfortunately.)

Nice staff, large and tasty portions

I originally wanted to eat Chinese food, but it was not open. I saw that the restaurant at the intersection had Vietnamese pho and Japanese sushi, so I came in to try it. The service was very good and the food was delicious. I ordered beef pho and beef spring rolls. , and a cup of lemon soda. I wasn’t satisfied with it, so I took out a fried chicken + fried rice🫠

A very simple restaurant, but still very good food. We each had different duck, and it was prepared very well. In addition to Asian-Vietnamese, there is also really good sushi. Overall we were very satisfied.

I've been going there for a long time. The food has remained very good over the years. Unfortunately I can't warm up to the service. Too inflexible and not as attentive as I would like.

Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen, auch ohne Reservierung, einen sehr schönen Platz. Modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ohne viel Schnickschnack. Schnelle und professionelle Bestellung und Bewirtung. Essen war einfach ein Genuß, Sushi wunderbar frisch und sehr köstlich. Für uns ein Muß bei jedem Berlinbesuch.

Wir haben das Hanoi Deli um 18:15 Uhr besucht nachdem ich ein paar Tage vorher über The Fork eine Buchung vorgenommen habe. Das Restaurant ist relativ spartanisch eingerichtet, das Möbliar ist aber wiederum sehr gemütlich. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfassen aber nicht zu groß. Es ist für jeden Freund asiatischer Küche etwas dabei. Wir haben eine Bowl mit Lachs und ein Reisgericht mit gebratener Ente bestellt. Dazu eine Maracuja Dream und eine Coriander Lemonade. Da wir aufgrund eines Anschlusstermines nicht sehr viel Zeit hatten hat es uns sehr gefreut, dass es schnell ging und das Essen nach knapp 10 min. kam. Leider hat es mit den Getränken etwas länger gedauert - noch weitere 5 min. Das ist aber auch schon das einzig negative. Beide Hauptgerichte haben sehr gut geschmeckt, waren schön angerichtet und auch reichlich - das Foto zeigt das Reisgericht wo die gebratene Entenbrust in der Mangosacue auf einem separaten Teller serviert wird.. Wir sind satt geworden. Und das für 16,90 Euro für die Bowl und 18,90 für das Reisgericht was ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist. Die Rechnung kam ebenfalls sehr schnell und mit der Bezahlung hat alles geklappt, so dass wir schon nach 45 min. das Restaurant satt und glücklich wieder verlassen konnten.

Great place. Very very comfortable. And the dishes are so delicious, we almost bit our fingers off. Ate papaya 🥗, grilled shrimp in coconut sauce and vegetables, hands on the grill with vegetables and soup with chicken and mushrooms...everything was super tasty, even ate the spicy papaya salad like crazy.

Very tasty but the ice-cold toilets are unacceptable. Then the door to the ice-cold courtyard is always open... Then the restaurant also gets very cold. In addition, two dogs belonging to an employee or boss bark brightly and loudly. Relaxation during the lunch break is not available...

Great restaurant, new ambience on Kurfürstendamm. There is a lunch menu where the prices are really reasonable and the normal menu. The price was normal for the area and the service was very nice. The cocktails were also very tasty.

They have the best glass noodle salad!

Although located on the Kudamm, the restaurant is surprisingly inexpensive and the food is wonderfully decorated and tasty. A perfect place to be in front of the Schaubühne - I like to go there before or after the theater performance.

A real tip for sushi lovers. Nice staff, very well-kept restaurant and a good and fresh selection of sushi varieties. A visit that was really worth it and wasn't for the last time.

The atmosphere in the evenings is pretty Bougie. Well lit, well decorated, they were themed for Christmas, including the staff. The waiters and waitresses were young guys and girls and super friendly. They tried to engage respectfully in conversations, which I found very warm-hearted as most of the restaurants are superextraprofessional and less intimate. Food can be better, not the best Vietnamese food I have tasted in Berlin, but definitely in the top 10.

Good portions of the food dishes (sweet potato fries were a lot) but for the price, I've had much better Vietnamese all around the city. The restaurant ambience is quite relaxed and the service is quick.

Wir waren heute hier essen. Das Essen war total lecker sehr empfehlenswert, das Anbiente genau so. Beide Kellnerinnen waren super, äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen den Laden auf jeden Fall weiter und werden jetzt öfter kommen.

Eine alte Dame hat uns vergessen

Eine sehr ältere mitarbeiterin hat mich aufgefordert zu gehen, da ich türkisch gesprochen hab und sie meinte einfach nur „wenn sie schon türkisch reden, dann im döner laden gegenüber“. Ich war sprachlos. Das essen war okay aber der service, abscheulich.

Das Essen war top und sehr lecker, das Ambiente ebenso! Nur die Bedienung wirkte etwas gestresst und unglücklich darüber, dass wir noch kamen. Vielleicht lag es an unserer Uhrzeit und dem sich langsam leerenden Laden, aber dennoch hätten wir uns mit etwas mehr Lächeln willkommener gefühlt.
