Olympos in Dresden

We were invited to a private birthday party on Saturday evening. A nice atmosphere. The staff was very nice, drinks came quickly. The meal took a while, but was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was also full, so it was important to keep an overview and manage everything. We still made music and danced. Would love to come back. Keep it up.

A reception like a state reception! It continued like this the whole evening, the entire staff was very accommodating. We felt very comfortable in the atmosphere at the class reunion! THANK YOU VERY MUCH

I wasn't thrilled. My lamb fillet was dry and the plate was carelessly prepared. Neither a lettuce leaf nor any other decoration. I wouldn't recommend the "Olympos".

I read a lot here: Best Greek in Dresden. You haven't been to Pirna in Athos yet 😝 We were warmly welcomed, had reservations and were able to sit inside or outside. Drinks and food arrived very quickly, the waiters were all friendly and attentive. The food had a good taste, well seasoned, only the way it was presented looked a bit careless, but the taste didn't care 😉 It was a successful evening.

Very tasty food and nice staff. Unfortunately, in these summer temperatures it was also very warm in the guest room... cooling devices would be appropriate. But otherwise everything was great.

Great service, nice and funny staff. The drinks and food quickly land on the table. There were several rounds of ouzo. One point deducted - there is not a single vegetarian main dish.

We were completely impressed by the “Olympos”! The food was not only very good, but was also prepared quickly so that we hardly had to wait. The ingredients were fresh and high quality, which you could taste in every bite. Particularly noteworthy is the courteous owner, who takes personal care of his guests and always has a smile on his face. The menu offers a wide range of traditional Greek dishes as well as an impressive variety of drinks. The friendly staff also gave us excellent recommendations that exceeded our expectations. The price-performance ratio is also great - absolutely justified for the quality and quantity of the food. Overall, a great culinary experience that we can warmly recommend. The meal was very good and well portioned and served by very friendly staff. The only disadvantage was the lack of parking facilities, so we had to use a Rewe parking lot nearby.

The waiter writes everything down in detail, brings the wrong side dishes and claims to have done everything right and is offended. Pregnant landlady delivers the bill orally, even when asked, there is no receipt. They should think about where their income comes from.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Greek restaurant Olympos again and I have nothing but positive things to say. The waitresses are always friendly and attentive, which always creates a welcoming atmosphere. The food always comes quickly and is a real treat - authentic, fresh and tastes excellent. A special highlight of my last visit was a small detail that put a smile on my face: I found a rose-shaped ice cube in my drink. A really adorable detail. My family and I are regulars at Olympos and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates tasty Greek food and first-class service.

Basically good Greek food, the price is perhaps a little higher than what you would expect from normal Greek restaurants, but that could also be due to the location (rent). What mostly bothers me is that we were told that we weren't allowed to order a second senior portion because we already had one. You have to take the normal portion. Now my question is, why???

We tried this restaurant for the first time today and were rather disappointed. The waitress seemed annoyed and the food was presented quite carelessly on the plate. At least it tasted okay. The atmosphere is also old-fashioned and quite cramped. It was also unusual for a Greek that there was no ouzo when greeting or saying goodbye. Overall conclusion, not recommended.

Unfriendly service. The food was carelessly thrown away, the bread was very hard (stale?), ultimately the food was served more or less cold. the empty drinks were not refilled. Lala tasted good, not worthy of the good star rating, there are much better Greeks. No recommendation!

The food was oversalted and served carelessly. When paying, we reached for the EC card without us being able to take a look at the bill beforehand. The lady from the staff reacted very annoyed when we wanted to see them before paying. Never again!!!

It was my first and last time eating there. The salad that came with the meal had been forgotten. We only realized later that this was part of the meal. When we pointed this out to the waiter, we were offered to pack the salad. I would have liked to have had it before dinner. There's definitely another regular guest you can give it to. In other Greek restaurants there is a welcome ouzo. Also in the Olympos, but not for us, but there were 2 for other guests. I won't eat there anymore.

I ate here with my colleague (see picture) and all I can say is, INCREDIBLY GOOD! The Rhodes platter was excellent. Only the toilets should be spruced up a bit, and Greek food comes out quickly.

We have been to this Greek restaurant several times and have always been satisfied. There is a very pleasant, even family atmosphere and excellent food in generous portions.

I can give it five stars because you get exactly what you expect when you go to a Greek restaurant in Germany. The staff, the quality of the food and the very moderate prices are particularly positive.

Muss leider einen Stern beim service abziehen. Es schmeckt ausgezeichnet, aber früher gab es mal zur Rechnung einen ouzo. Den vermisse ich schon eine weile. Im Vorspeisensalat ist keine Olive mit Stein und keine peperoni mehr. Das finde ich auch schade. Ansonsten natürlich wie immer geschmacklich super, auch wenn ich hier gefühlt seit 20 jahren das gleiche esse. Bester Grieche.

Es war einmal....unser "Lieblingsgrieche". Dann gab es den Generationswechsel und alles hat sich geändert. Früher gab's minimal einer Uso zur Bestellung und einer nach Bezahlung, meistens zwischendurch auch noch einen oder zwei. Beim gestrigen Besuch gab es einen und das war's dann, schade. Desweiteren kann man bei Bestellung einer Flasche Wein erwarten, dass einem das erste Glas befüllt wird - nix da, Flasche auf den Tisch, zwei Gläser dazu - fertig. Das Essen war lecker, mehr aber auch nicht. Egal, gibt ja noch mehr griechische Restaurants in Dresden, in diesem Sinne "Jámas"

Im Tresen-Abteil des Restaurants empfanden wir es als sehr unruhig und damit nicht gemütlich. Personal in unterschiedlichen Straßenklamotten (z.B. einer im Strick-Pullover mit Text "Here for beer" 🫣) unterstreicht das Ambiente. Ich wähle mein Getränk je nachdem, was für ein Essen ich wähle. Das wollten 4(!) Kellner nicht akzeptieren. ☹️ Zum Essen: Eisbergsalat-Streifen mit einem Stück Tomate und einer Scheibe Gurke. Das alles ertränkt von zu viel Fertigdressing. Souvláki ist ein gegrillter Fleischspieß der griechischen Küche. Den bekomme ich bei anderen Griechen auch am Spieß! Hier zwei Stück Schweinefleisch ohne griechische Würzung. Die Metaxasauce hatte mit Metaxa mal so gar nichts zu tun.🙄 Die frittierten Kartoffelscheiben waren ok. Reis lauwarm und nicht mein Geschmack. Auf die Frage, ob es geschmeckt habe, will man hier nur JA hören und gut ist! Ich habe NEIN gesagt (und das WARUM auch erläutert), worauf mir ein anderer Mann an den Tisch geschickt wurde, der das nicht annehmen wollte ...🤷🏻‍♀️ Mein Essen wurde von mir nicht aufgegessen und dann kommt noch einer mit den Resten in der Tüte...🤣...,die ich dankend da gelassen habe. Und nur so am Rande: Bei unseren beiden Stamm-Lieblings-Griechen gibt es z.B. zur Begrüßung und zum Abschied einen Ouzo. 😊 Ihren zufriedenen KundenInnen und Ihnen alles Gute (auch in den nächsten 30 Jahren) 😉

Mir gefällt es hier sehr. Ich mag das Ambiente. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und angenehm. Das Essen schmeckt immer wieder sehr lecker und wenn man mal nicht alles schafft, kann man es sich einpacken lassen für Zuhause. Ich gehe immer wiedee gern mit meinem Freund hierher.

Hier kommen wir immer wieder gerne her. Das Essen ist fantastisch und der Service ist freundlich und kompetent. Auch die Plätze sind, egal ob drinnen oder draußen sehr ansprechend.

Bahnhofshallenfeeling. Essen unliebsam auf den Teller gebracht. Man kommt sich vor wie bei einem Schnellimbiss, nichts für mich und meine Augen. Das soll aber jeder für sich selbst entscheiden.
