Irodion Pallas in Dresden

I was there today for a birthday party and only mentioned it upon arrival. The guys were really on the ball; they immediately serenaded the birthday boy, including tiramisu. The rest of the food was also super attentive, prepared quickly, and the food was delicious, including ouzo. I'd definitely go back. Jámas!

Yesterday, eight of us went to Iridion to celebrate my birthday. We made a table reservation in advance by phone, which was very friendly and uncomplicated. Very nice welcome, no wait. The staff was very friendly, prompt, and attentive. Although it was only casually mentioned that someone had a birthday, a birthday song played over the loudspeakers after dinner, and a piece of cake was presented with "fireworks" and thunderous applause. The food was, of course, also excellent. 5 stars, absolutely recommendable. Thank you, Iridion Pallas 👍🏻

We went to lunch with the family today for my boyfriend's birthday. The food was very good and the service very friendly and attentive. The highlight was birthday music and a tiramisu for my boyfriend. We weren't expecting that, and he was very happy. We had a great time and would love to come back!

A clear recommendation and, for us, the highlight of every visit to Dresden. We stumbled upon the Irodion Pallas by chance at the beginning of the year. Without a reservation and despite the restaurant being very busy, we were seated promptly by the extremely attentive staff. At first, we had to chuckle a bit at the almost humorous ambiance, but now we've even taken the budgies to our hearts. Special praise goes to the cuisine and service. The dishes are consistently excellent, plentiful, and unbeatable value for money. As we regularly eat Greek food, we can rightly say that we haven't had a better meal anywhere. The experience is rounded out by excellent service. Friendly, courteous, and always understanding, you always feel like you're among friends. Even special requests are accommodated without any problems and without discussion and implemented promptly. For us, a visit to the Irodion Pallas is an essential part of a visit to Dresden. Highly recommended. Despite my late arrival, the kitchen was still open for me (thanks to the attentive waiter) and I had a good, filling meal. The waiter was also very friendly, relaxed and yet very attentive. All in all a great stay, happy to come again.

We were there on Saturday. It was very crowded and the tables were very close. There was constant unrest at the buffet. Relaxed eating was, in my opinion, not really possible here. Service was good and the food was tasty.

Es war Freitag - Valentinstag und wir hatten eine Reservierung für 2 Stunden erhalten (finde ich grundsätzlich nicht sinnvoll diese Zeitfristen). Es war wie auf dem Bahnhof. Es herrschte Hektik und eine enorme Lautstärke im Restaurant. Viel Platz ist dort sowieso nicht. Direkt neben dem Eingang die Salatbar, die Bezahlerei, die Bar und der Buffetbereich. Der Service und die Gäste (aufgrund Salatbar und Buffet) rannte permanent durch die Gegend. Als Vorspeise hatten wir gegrillte Pepperoni mit Knoblauch und Tzatziki für 9,50 €. Für mich ist das Wucher. Hauptgang waren 2 Mal überbackenes Gyros und einmal Hackstück. Alles war nicht wirklich heiß, eher lauwarm. Mein sehr neutral schmeckendes Gyros bestand aus extrem großen Fleischstücken und ich hatte hier und da das Gefühl, es war aufgrund der Fleischdicke nicht ganz durch. Aber da es recht dunkel war, konnte ich es nicht richtig erkennen. Hier ging es eindeutig nach dem Motto "Masse statt Klasse". Dafür ist mir mein Geld zu schade. Und diese Hektik und Lautstärke brauch ich definitiv auch nicht.

Great food, friendly service, acceptable fair prices. Even though the place was full, we got a table after a few minutes. I don't know if this is always the case, but we should have called ahead that day. I'll definitely come here again!

It's always great with Yani and his team. A true gem of Greek cuisine in Dresden! The Irodion Pallas enchants with its warm hospitality, authentic ambience and a menu that leaves nothing to be desired. Whether juicy gyros, tender souvlaki or delicious seafood – every palate is pampered here. The generous portions and the excellent price-performance ratio are further plus points. An absolute must for every lover of Greek cuisine! We'd love to come back. You have to know.

Unfortunately, the good reviews are not understandable. Unfortunately, the food on January 31, 2025 was cold and tasteless. The buffet is not refilled and there was no dessert left either. Employees help themselves to the food and stand between the guests chewing. At least the mindless staff is very friendly.

The food (buffet) was okay, but since it was right at the door it was sometimes cold. The service made a lot of effort and was also friendly. The restaurant was very full and we were asked to move several times, which was a "no go" for us because we had reserved.

We had a reservation for lunch on Boxing Day and ate a la carte and buffet. The selection on the menu was very extensive and there was plenty on the plate. The selection at the buffet was also very diverse. . . Salad, starters, main courses, dessert. . . We couldn't try everything. That's why we have to come back. We all enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the staff courteous, quick and very friendly. We would love to come back. Thank you!

Very nice Greek restaurant with a great ambience, warm service and delicious food. Even my mom, who doesn't like mushrooms, left full and happy. There was a Christmas present as a farewell present :) We'll be back!

Was there on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was busy, but you could get a good seat quickly with a reservation. Attentive, quick service, good menu selection and very tasty food (good meat/lamb). When ordering and paying you got an ouzo on the house. Highly recommended restaurant!

A few years ago the quality was significantly better, now it's just fast you can do it, but there are better Greeks Salad bar works like that, nothing special vegetarian gratinated dish half raw Bifteki with sauce on top that takes a lot of getting used to

I was looking for a location for my birthday but unfortunately it fell through. We booked the evening buffet yesterday. You got full but it wasn't that great. Some of the hot dishes were only lukewarm. The service was friendly. The restaurant has much too narrow aisles.

Food à la menu is great. Very large portions that will satisfy even the hungriest eater. Everything tastes great too. At the buffet it's something different. The taste was good but there was very little choice of different meat. Too bad. And on my last visit there wasn't a waiter in sight for half an hour.

We had on October 25th. ordered and were very disappointed. Price was far too high for the quality delivered. Garlic bread is flatbread that is briefly dipped in oil and grilled. Already seen much better. Metaxa sauce doesn't taste like Metaxa at all. Half of them were forgotten when ordering, and when asked, they suggested picking them up at the store. Then why do you order? The tzatziki was tasty.

We were there spontaneously and “unfortunately” we could only get a place in the beer garden (heated tent). Since it was very loud and restless in the restaurant because of the buffet, it was very pleasant. The Parsonal was very friendly, just didn't come out to the beer garden that often. The food (we opted for a la cart instead of buffet) was more than plentiful and tasty.

Actually our favorite Greek Went there for dinner yesterday. As long as the boss was in the house, it was business as usual. But then everything...really didn't matter. All the waiters had disappeared. Drink requests? No one asked, we would have liked to have taken some food with us, but they were ignored. A waiter was sitting at the next table and chatting. When we wanted to pay, he told us he had to go smoke first... we were really surprised by this way of dealing with things. It's a shame, we're not used to something like that from this restaurant!!

We ordered food over the phone from the restaurant, picked it up and ate it at home. The order went perfectly. After a short ring the call was answered. We received a very friendly welcome when we picked it up. A buffet was set up in the restaurant with salad, starters and main courses. It looked delicious and really whet your appetite. After a short wait we were offered an ouzo, great. We ate at home and it was very good and filling. We will be back.

We recently ordered take-away dinner for 7 people here for the certificate distribution and were very satisfied. The gratinated gyro was our highlight, but the rest was also great… Highly recommended. We would also like to emphasize the quality of the tzatziki, we love garlic and it was a celebration for us. In terms of price, the order was well within the range in combination with the great, delicious quality. We'd love to come back, especially to try out the buffet when we get the chance... it was set up when we picked up the order and it was a feast for the eyes in terms of the huge selection and the look... we'll be testing the taste soon.

We have eaten there several times and I can absolutely recommend it to everyone. This is by far the best Greek restaurant in Dresden. The service is always very friendly and you immediately feel welcome. The price-performance ratio is also great. The food was also very delicious and good. The portions have become a little smaller, but the normal eater will easily be full.

It was our first time eating in this restaurant and we were a bit surprised by the taste of the food. The taste of all the food was indefinable. We like to eat at Greek restaurants and so far it has always tasted good. The typical additional salad with the main course was also missing. The portion sizes and the staff were great.

Die Lammhaxe mit griechischen Reisnudel war lecker, leider hatte meine Frau etwas weniger Glück. Bei Ihr war der Reis kalt, das Fleisch etwas zäh und auch bei der Metaxasauce fehlte der dafür typische Geschmack.

Hello, I don't know why the restaurant has such good reviews! It already started with the cards. They were sticky and so dirty. Then forgot four meals. Then a table was stolen from us and we were herded together. No, I really don't have to have it again!! I've also eaten Greek food that tastes better!!! I'm sorry! I don't want to go back.

Das Essen war richtig schlecht. Ich habe noch nie so schlechtes Gyros und Souflaki gegessen. Auch meinem Mann hat es überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Man hatte das Gefühl als wenn das irgendwelche alten Fleischreste gewesen sind. Mir ist das Essen so sehr auf den Magen geschlagen, dass ich die ganze Nacht gebrochen habe. Sowas habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt.
