Simply fantastic! I immediately felt like I was back on holiday in Crete. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The owner is incredibly friendly and creates a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. You can immediately tell how much love he puts into his service. A real highlight!

Warm service and definitely the best value for money in the Baroque Quarter, if not further afield. I particularly enjoy the liver, but if my girlfriend and I are vegetarian, it's also highly recommended; then we share 3-4 appetizers, for example, the baked spinach and mushrooms, garlic bread, white beans in sauce, and maybe some olives.

We spent New Year's Eve there again with friends. We did have to wait a long time for our food, but that was perfectly understandable given how busy it was. The food was delicious and incredibly plentiful. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening there.

The service was absolutely terrible. We had to wait 2.5 hours for our food (including the children's meals). Ordering drinks also took forever.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant, as we were very disappointed with the service. The food quality was also nothing special. The worst part was that we were told to pack our takeaway food ourselves at the table! I've never experienced anything like that before, and it should really be packed up in the kitchen. The service was outstanding – everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. What I especially appreciated was that the owner personally came to our table and wished us bon appétit. This was a very thoughtful and respectful gesture and made the visit even more special. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

We were there for dinner on Saturday evening, just the two of us. We both received the wrong food and had to place the order again. The waitress blamed us, claiming my wife had ordered the wrong thing. There was no apology, no "I'm sorry," and no "we'll bring you what you ordered." She was very unfriendly. We calmed things down and ordered the correct food again, which we received later. In the end, however, we were still expected to pay for the incorrect order, as it was listed on the bill. When I pointed this out, she asked if they wouldn't cancel it, but instead, she rolled her eyes and called me a liar. The service and friendliness were a disaster, although the food was tasty.

The restaurant was far too crowded. The place was packed. The staff couldn't serve our main course within two hours, despite having a reservation. We had two children with us! The manager came over with a flippant remark, "Everything's just full!" Not even the slightest apology was offered. Yes, if I were him, I'd lower the reservations! Or hire more staff; he's got it all under his control! All in all, far too loud, not cozy. We won't be seeing you again anytime soon!

The food was great(and you have a lot of options to choose from), the restaurant is very nice (it also has an inner courtyard), the personnel was very attentive. They offer you some shots from the house, which was a nice surprise.

The salad consisted almost entirely of iceberg lettuce. The dressing was like pre-made sauce from a bottle. The white bread was unsalted and tasted of nothing. The main courses were okay. The service was friendly and quick.

We visited Acheron, a lovely Greek restaurant in Dresden, over a long weekend because of the good reviews. We had the bifteki and the filet special, each with Metaxa sauce, fries, and extra tzatziki. The dishes were plentiful and incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, the bifteki had very runny feta cheese, which more or less oozed out – still delicious, but we're used to it. The service was very friendly and service-oriented, just as you'd expect. We started with a blue house schnapps and finished with ouzo. The atmosphere was spacious yet cozy.

We were warmly greeted upon entering and immediately escorted to our table. The atmosphere was authentically Mediterranean – warm, cozy, and decorated with great attention to detail. The food was simply outstanding: The appetizer platter with tzatziki and grilled pepperoni was fresh and aromatic. I particularly want to highlight the gyro with Metaxa sauce; it was as tender as butter, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The goat cheese in puff pastry was also of the highest quality and beautifully prepared. The service was attentive, friendly, and very professional. You could tell that genuine hospitality is practiced here. Despite the full house, we were always served quickly and felt completely at home. To finish off, we had a glass of ouzo on the house – a lovely, authentic way to end the meal. Conclusion: An absolute highlight in Dresden! Anyone who loves Greek cuisine should definitely not miss this restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

A very nice place. The food wasn't particularly special, a bit tasteless. The chef was at many tables and kept walking past us without even asking if we liked our food. The neighboring tables were given ouzo; we're used to it that if you bring ouzo, every table gets one. It's a shame, we're more hospitable.

I hadn't eaten kritharaki in 40 years and was eager to experience it again. The Acheron isn't exactly the best on the menu, as there was only one dish with it. But the quality is definitely superior; it doesn't get any better than this.

We waited 15 minutes for our first drinks, an hour for the food after ordering, and even the provided salad plate didn't help. And then the food arrived one after the other! We've been regulars for 10 years and can confirm that the Greek restaurant Acheron on Königstrasse in Dresden is truly highly recommended! You can sit comfortably inside, either in the Artium or in the lovingly decorated rooms of the restaurant, or on the terrace when the weather is nice. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and you feel welcome from the very beginning. The food is freshly prepared and tastes excellent; especially (number 64) was a treat! The portions are generous and the prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The free 24 Ouzo is perfect. As always, a successful evening – we'd love to come back!

Unfortunately, the quality has declined considerably. There are candles on the table, but they're not lit. You have to get your own oil and vinegar. There's no dessert menu, and no coffee is offered. The food isn't really prepared with love. You get the feeling it's all just a quick buck. The "free ouzo" still seems to attract Dresdeners, though.

Despite good service, the food was rather disappointing - the gyros was bone dry, the garlic potatoes seriously over-salted to the point of being inedible, the salmon overcooked and dry, etc. Moreover, we waited a very long time for the main course. Given the overall good reviews, I would assume that the cook either had a bad day or a day off. The silver lining was that the very nice waitress brought us ouzo before and after the meal. Given our experience, we will not return.

We ended our evening here and found the food, while not exceptional, quite good. The portions were filling enough to fill us up. We were a little disappointed that we were only offered "inside" and "outside" seating – even though there were beautiful spots under the green canopy in the courtyard. You can't hide things like that! We sat on the terrace facing the street, which fortunately had little traffic.
