Delicious sushi at a good price, sometimes a small selection, and the staff look at their phones instead of making sushi.

The sushi bar in Kaufland has only been open for a few days. Ready-made sushi boxes are in the display and are continuously replenished. At least around lunchtime. There are (so far) no individual selections or daily specials, and no sushi menu. Prices are within the usual range. The taste was good. The rice had the right consistency. However, the nigris had too much rice, so you couldn't taste the fish. I also know that the ginger and wasabi are separated from the rolls by a small plastic strip. Let's see how things develop with OKI. We're continuing to test them. ####################### Second review mid-February 2023: End of December 2022 and today I took enough sushi for two people for lunch. What has changed since the launch five months ago? The team has adapted to general demand. The refrigerated section is well stocked and supplies are continuously being replenished. Since you unfortunately still can't select or order individually, you have to try to find your favorite among the pre-made boxes. Lots of salmon with avocado and some other fish are on offer, but there's also plenty of purely vegetarian options. The spicy wasabi is now separated by the usual plastic sheets. When ordering multiple boxes, we take the sushi out and place it on a plate. After the refrigerated section, the rolls can still reach room temperature for a bit. This way, they taste a little better. Today, too, everything seemed very fresh. The ratio of fish to rice is good. However, some rolls seem very "handy" to eat with chopsticks, considering the price. In Berlin sushi restaurants, the pieces are usually wider or heavier. The flavor is still lacking that final touch. But of course, it's worlds better than what you'd find in the refrigerated section of discount stores and the like. Everyone has to make their own price assessment. Otherwise, compared to similar box providers in Berlin, I would give it a good rating and stick with the four stars for now.

The goods were very fresh and tasted excellent. You can notice a very clear difference to normal discounter goods! Lots of fish processed and not too much rice. The balance is right here. After my first test, I would like to come back!

It's a shame that you can't put something together yourself based on the flyer.

Stay away from the bowl (Donburi)! Half an avocado and four strips of salmon, otherwise just rice. That was the worst bowl I've had. Due to the very meager number of ingredients, it unfortunately had nothing to offer in terms of taste. Added to this is the far too high price of €8.50. There is no recommendation from me.

Sushi schmeckte nicht mehr frisch, gibt besseres in der Stadt. Bubbletea viel zu süß, Fruchtfliegen waren auch im Getränk und zu teuer. Gehe lieber paar Meter weiter für einen vernünftigen.

Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut, einziges Manko das das Wasabi und der Ingwer nicht vom Sushi getrennt wird und es beim Transport zu einem sehr scharfen Nigiri gekommen ist.
