My son just said: "Dad here has the best fries in the world."
The Sportsbarathmosphere surprised me. I wouldn't have expected it in Schwedt at all.
It's a really nice location to watch football with friends.
If you are in the area, take the opportunity and stop by here.
We come here from Hamburg quite regularly, including this time. We asked for a room on the day of arrival (we decided to stay overnight) and were again warmly welcomed by the “boss of the whole thing”. There is ample parking and rooms are always clean and tidy. We had a small special request in the room, which was fulfilled while we were having dinner in the restaurant with a certainty that I have very, very rarely experienced (never in the “West”).
The restaurant, the service, the delicious food and the prices are absolutely authentic, honest and down-to-earth. Here no one tries to be something they are not, but you can still feel it, the “spirit of the East”, the openness and the togetherness of the people. You chat with your boss casually about old and new times or the PCK (I was born and raised here well over 50 years ago), as if you were here every evening and not just every few months and at some point you are sent off into the night with a pat on the back before starting the next day with a hearty breakfast.
It’s nice that there are still “stores” like this. “Charly” is a real asset to this area.
Dear Lutz and dear team, we would like to thank you for this unforgettable day.
You were incredibly committed, warm and always attentive. The service left nothing to be desired - everything was top!
The food was varied and incredibly tasty. There was something for every taste. All this at fair and reasonable prices. Our guests were thrilled and praised us from all sides.
The fantastic decoration made the ambience something very special.
All in all we felt completely comfortable.
Thumbs up and a clear recommendation! LG Tiedemann family
We spontaneously went to this great family-run restaurant based on the reviews. The food was world class and the hospitality was great. We'll be back, it's definitely worth the trip from Berlin.
the food tastes great! The deduction is because it is very unloving. For example, you get a huge plate with a spring roll. There is no sauce or some salad/some sliced cucumber or something.
Unfortunately there is no menu in Braille either.
Today was the last time we ordered there.
It's okay that the costs have skyrocketed, we understand that.
But a normal schnitzel (at that time there were still fries) out of the packaging without anything on top for the price is quite proud.
The bottom of a burger was burnt and it's no longer as juicy as it once was.
It's really a shame we don't have it anymore...
There aren't many restaurants in Schwedt an der Oder. The Greek restaurant El Greco is undoubtedly one of the highlights.
The service is friendly, fast, attentive, and sometimes a little too much – in other words, too much of a good thing.
The food is tasty. The meat is grilled to perfection, and the plates are beautifully presented. The portions are generous, as is typical for Greek restaurants – with the exception of the bread for the tzatziki. Two slices are simply too few. Four slices should be served, and the bread isn't that expensive.
The food tastes good, the quality is good. The tzatziki is excellent, very creamy, and the flavors are very well balanced. The meat dishes are grilled, but I miss the roasted flavors here. I have no idea why.
The appetizer salad is okay. The dressing is too fatty for me – a vinegar and oil dressing would be better. I'll just say that this is a greasy dressing – the flavor is out of step with the otherwise good food. The coleslaw – here also as red cabbage – is good, and this is exactly where the dressing doesn't fit at all.
In any case, the El Greco restaurant is highly recommended.
Standard Chinese restaurant with friendly service. My recommendation is trying No.77. Unfortunately, the aquarium at the entrance doesn't make a great impression.
