Grill am CKS in Schwedt/Oder

We went here for dinner twice during our visit to Schwedt. Once we had a large roast beef and ribs, and on the other visit we had schnitzel. We were completely satisfied and would happily recommend Wunderbar.

I received a recommendation beforehand, which I then ordered. It was very tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive.

The Pilsner beer was very, very tasty, perfectly tempered, and on tap. The appetizer was an over-salted, sweet, and overly thick asparagus cream soup, which I returned after one spoonful, but had to pay for. The service was very young and a bit overwhelmed. We had two different meat dishes. Both dishes came with the same sauce, presumably not derived from the meat. The sauce tasted like it had been stirred and was too runny, unlike the soup. The flavor was unsatisfying. The sauerbraten was too dry. The potatoes were good. The red cabbage was overly seasoned. Overall, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it as a meal at this price point.

A charming, rustic restaurant. The staff is warm and will fulfill your every wish. We visited for the third time and were welcomed like old friends. Wonderful.
