A lovely brewery with good food. Unfortunately, the regional cuisine is neglected. Steaks and burgers are available everywhere. Therefore, only 2 stars for the otherwise well-cooked food. The service and ambiance were perfect.

A very nice location for eating, drinking, and celebrating. Nice, fast, and friendly service.

And once again, a dream come true. The truly beautiful ambiance, the excellent food, and the very friendly and helpful service made our evening perfect. Thank you very much, and we'll be back...

Delicious 😋 food and beer from our own brewery

We recently went to Brauwerk Essen again. The atmosphere is truly inviting. The staff were friendly but not very attentive. The food wasn't really much, and the halloumi salad was as expensive as a burger. I was still hungry after the salad...which has never happened to me before. We then ordered apple strudel with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The apple strudel was raw inside, which we told the waiter, but there was no reaction. I would have at least expected to have been offered something else as a substitute. But nothing was said. We paid the bill and left. Everything there is generally very expensive. I have to be honest, you can eat better and cheaper elsewhere in Schwedt.

Despite a spontaneous visit, I was seated immediately and was able to order quickly. However, after asking the waiter again, it took more than 20 minutes for me to even get my drink. The meal then took about another hour. If you have enough time and aren't suddenly hungry or thirsty, you can have a very good meal. The quality was definitely up to scratch.

We were here for a wedding reception. The food was very delicious, but everything else, unfortunately, was not. It started with the fact that the wedding was registered two months ago, and we called several times, specifically asking about decorations, etc. When we arrived, nothing was set up; even the tables weren't pushed together. Later, after repeated requests, something festive was finally set up. Drinks arrived very late or were forgotten, which unfortunately also drew negative attention. The food, however, was very delicious. Due to the lack of service, they negotiated and we received a discount. There was no discussion, so this should be viewed positively. Nevertheless, it was frustrating, and we hope that things will go better in the future with regard to planning.

Unfortunately, I have to say something negative. I ordered the beef cheeks, and they were rock hard. The taste was actually okay, but unfortunately inedible. The waitress reacted immediately and offered me an espresso on the house. Well, for a meal that costs around €24 and is essentially the epitome of "tender," I expected a lot more. I can only hope this remains an isolated incident and that the food is otherwise better. My companion's baked potato, on the other hand, was very tasty. The beer tasting at the end was very tasty, especially the red beer. I think we'll give it another chance sometime. Until then, all the best.

The steaks were boneless chops and the steak or four was roast meat with a gratin. The bacon on the fried potatoes was burnt.

We loved the Brauwerk a few years ago – which made our last visit a month ago all the more disappointing. The waiter quickly became annoyed when we wanted to make small changes to the meal. We waited forever for our drinks, while the lady behind the bar preferred to be on her smartphone or chatting with her friend instead of doing her job. The food came quickly, but some of it was cold, and the schnitzel was much too dry. When we paid, there were things on the bill that we never ordered. A temporary employee couldn't help us and tried to get our waiter – but he had disappeared. Several tables were waiting for their bills. After waiting 20 minutes with no explanation, we were finally able to leave. Such a shame – this lovely place has declined considerably.

We were invited to dinner there on June 18th. Unfortunately, the quality of the food declined considerably. I had schnitzel, which was very dry and beautifully presented, but that was it. The service, well, after 30 minutes I asked when I'd get my beer. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but then it arrived and was literally slammed onto my table, without a request or apology. I don't think that's right. So I'll be avoiding the brewery for now—a real shame.

The Pilsner beer was very, very tasty, perfectly tempered, and on tap. The appetizer was an over-salted, sweet, and overly thick asparagus cream soup, which I returned after one spoonful, but had to pay for. The service was very young and a bit overwhelmed. We had two different meat dishes. Both dishes came with the same sauce, presumably not derived from the meat. The sauce tasted like it had been stirred and was too runny, unlike the soup. The flavor was unsatisfying. The sauerbraten was too dry. The potatoes were good. The red cabbage was overly seasoned. Overall, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it as a meal at this price point.

Very tasty food and great ambience very nice staff

Since we were parked at the RV site, we looked for a few restaurants. We made reservations here one evening. We had a bit of a bad feeling because of the negative reviews. Once we arrived, we were able to choose a table, and then we were off. The beer came quickly and the food was delicious. The rest of the evening was also perfect. The two young girls did their job more than perfectly. Fast service, beer arrived "just in time." Later in the evening, we had a quick chat with the waitress, and we knew we'd be back. And that was the very next day. For myself and my wife, I can say that I had nothing to complain about, and if I'm in the area again, I'd like to pay another visit here.

No, because if you can't post even a reasonably up-to-date menu on your profile, you shouldn't expect a recommendation. We were pleasantly surprised by the menus and the prices. A knuckle of pork for 14.90 and a pike-perch fillet for 14.99 are good prices. However, the knuckle of pork came in at 24.90 and the pike-perch at 18.90. That's just unacceptable.

We attended the team evening at Brauwerk on May 26, 2025. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. The food was hearty and varied. We would like to highlight the service provided by trainee Klaudia. She led the evening with genuine friendliness, expertise, and excellent advice. We were thrilled.

Very good concept. The restaurant is large and you can dine both inside and outside. They brew their own beer. It's a paradise for beer lovers. The prices for the food are high, but the portions are generous. I stayed at the hotel there with my girlfriend. It was a good stay with friendly staff. We also had breakfast there. We got freshly cooked fried eggs. It was great.

This was our third time here for a family celebration and we really enjoyed it again. You are also welcome here with four-legged furry friends. The food is delicious and the celebration was well accompanied by culinary delights. The home-brewed beer 🍺 is also highly recommended. All in all a place where you can celebrate well and switch off.

Nice restaurant, but due to its size it is quite noisy when it gets full. Unfortunately the menu online is not up to date. A few dishes are no longer available. And the prices are absolutely not right. It would be wise to update this. The staff was very friendly and tried hard. My colleagues were thrilled with the food.

We celebrated our birthday there and ordered alla card. They didn't have a lot of what was on the menu. Then ordered the water buffalo burger. But couldn't eat it because the meat was only medium rare. The waiter didn't ask how I would like it. The cook confirmed this the next day that that was actually the question. Then someone had to give up their rump steak because there were only 3 pieces left. When we wanted to order another round of Baileys there was only enough for two people. Were really disappointed.

First of all, you have to say that the location and interior design are really great and the food is very tasty, there is also a seasonal menu that is really impressive. But what you notice negatively if you've eaten there several times is the staff. The young “waitresses” don’t really seem to be interested in their job. Something is often forgotten, empty beer glasses are left behind and new ones don't arrive. Running past you with your head down, with the motto “Please don’t talk to me”. I have no idea if there are no staff meetings there, but I've heard that from a lot of guests who ate there and not just since yesterday. Should give you something to think about! Everything depends on the staff. Now to another topic that I was also very annoyed about. As a gift I received two types of beer (large bottles), one I think was a light beer and the other was a black beer. Both were opened before the expiration date and both were sour and simply inedible.

It's a shame that some regional dishes and drinks that are listed on the menu are not available at all... Food delicious, service needs to be better and more attentive: 2 ordered meals only came when asked, after everyone else had already been eating for 5 minutes...

We were there at the weekend as part of a birthday party. The food was OK, but the service was subpar. At 10:30 p.m. the staff announced the "last round" and at 11 p.m. the birthday party (20 people) was rudely asked to leave. Since half of the guests stayed in the attached hotel, this was of course all the more annoying. Nothing was agreed upon in this regard. None of the guests will ever go in there again!

As part of a Christmas party I ordered duck with dumplings and red cabbage. Unfortunately I have to say that I have never eaten so badly. The whole dish was lukewarm, so the duck skin was sloppy, the dumplings/sauce were completely over-seasoned with rosemary, and you had your mouth full of rosemary needles. I informed the waitress, which unfortunately resulted in no response at all.

We, a small seniors' shared apartment, had our team Christmas party on December 11th, 2024 and as a team we decided to celebrate our Christmas party in our shared apartment so that the seniors are really taken care of and we can be together as a team. We had our Christmas dinner delivered, we had half ducks, dumplings, potatoes, red cabbage, Brussels sprouts, a delicious sauce, lemon dessert and of course chocolate dessert and we were more than thrilled with the food. The food tasted magical, there is really nothing wrong with it Something to complain about. The food was more than plentiful. Big praise to the Brauwerk guys in the kitchen who sweetened our evening with such a delicious meal. The service from ordering to delivery was very pleasant and uncomplicated. We would order food from the Brauwerk again and again. We as the team from the Seniors WG Lützlow would like to say thank you and wish the entire Brauwerk team a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The dishes are beautifully prepared (->fresh parsley), but also expensive. What's the matter? Also because the audience has a lot of space and feels comfortable in the high rooms. And how does the restaurateur recoup the heating costs and pass on the costs? About the number of tables and food portions. Ambience: nice to look at. But I was missing something. Or was it too much for me? The apparently changing wall slogan is presented too opulently. It's generally too "fancy" for a brewery. I always associate dark wood and long tables. This is then reflected in cheaper prices, which in turn retain more guests. Hiring more staff, etc. But if I just want to have a defined audience, such thinking is irrelevant.

Disappointing experience – not recommended We were in the restaurant as a birthday party and were unfortunately very disappointed. First of all we had to wait far too long for our drinks. When they finally arrived, it turned out that the waitress who brought the drinks wasn't responsible for the food orders, causing further delays. The vegan burgers were an absolute disaster - there was obviously little attention to detail. Instead of a well-thought-out, tasty dish, we were simply given a piece of unprocessed tofu on the burger, clichéd and loveless. However, the service staff were attentive and friendly and probably couldn't help the disorganized process. The price-performance ratio is in no way justified. We had hoped for much more and will definitely not eat here again. Very disappointing!

Very good restaurant with a fantastic ambience. The history of the building (can be read on the first page of the menu) feels like a history of the city of Schwedt. By the way, this menu offers something for everyone, be it gluten/lactose-free, vegetarian, vegan or omnivorous. And there is also a special, lovingly presented menu for the little guests. The food tastes excellent and the prices are appropriate for the quality and portion size. Rare intolerances are also discussed. All in all, I can only warmly recommend the Brauwerk if you want to have a leisurely meal in Schwedt.

The food was good, we had a farmer's breakfast, but the price was quite high at €14.90. The staff was very friendly, the beer was also delicious. Announced on the menu as a giant schnitzel on the plate then manageable. Meat breading good. Fried potatoes were ordered extra crispy. A very oily, soft potato dish arrived. This is complained about. In fact, in my opinion, the same things come back from the microwave. Surrender. Upon request from service. The kitchen says if there are a lot of people there the cook can't do it. Too bad. Back to the third year of training. They can do it. As a guest, I think it's a bad joke, I can't do it, but I'll send it out. Salad at the table. Withered leaves included. Very bad. Reordered a farmer’s breakfast. That would then be completely forgotten. Service was very nice and completely overwhelmed by what I think was a specialist and a few trainees. In total. Don't try again. Recommendation to the boss. Dies reklamiert. Tatsächlich kommen nach meiner Meinung die gleichen Dinger aus der Mikrowelle zurück. Kapitulation. Auf Nachfrage beim Service. Die Küche sagt wenn viele Leute da sind kann der Koch das nicht. Schade. Ab zurück ins dritte Lehrjahr. Die können das. Ich als Gast empfinde es als schlechten Witz, ich kann das nicht, aber ich schicke es raus. Salat am Tisch. Welke Blätter dabei. Ganz übel. Ein Bauernfrühstück nachbestellt. Das würde dann ganz vergessen. Service sehr nett und mit einer, wie ich denke, Fachkraft und einigen Azubis vollständig überfordert. In Summe. Nicht erneut versuchen. Empfehlung an den Chef. Riesenschnitzel sollten das auch sein, service mit jungen Leuten füllen ist sehr gut, aber die armen Leute ins Wasser werfen auf Kosten der Gäste. Mies! Schade. Location ist toll und wird dann unter Wert abgelegt.

Wir waren zum Abendessen mit der Familie im Brauwerk. Und konnten es am Ende nicht erwarten wieder zu gehen. Es fing damit an, dass die bestellungaufnehmende Person gehen wollte, bevor alle bestellt hatten. Als die Speisen an den Platz gebracht wurde, hat mein Sohn nicht verstanden, was die servierende Kollegin sagte und malte dann mein Kind voll "und warum sagst Du dann nicht, dass das Essen für Dich ist? Ich habe doch gefragt!" Als Gäste im Wintergarten Platz nahmen, wurde die Tür verkündet ubd wir saßen die ganze Zeit im Durchzug. Mehrmaliges Ansprechen wurde mit "Ja was soll ich denn machen?" beantwortet. Wir baten um einen neuen Tisch, da es wirklich kalt wurde und wurden ignoriert. Allgemein wirkte der Service kopflos und unorganisiert. Ich bat um die Rechnung und es dauerte 20 Minuten + 2 Erinnerungen. Höhepunkt war, dass ich (Bezahlt mit einem Gutschein) weniger Restbetrag auf dem Gutschein gutgeschrieben bekam, als Rest blieb - ergo man gab sich selbst Trinkgeld. Für Trinkgeld hatte ich bei diesem Service keinen Nerv mehr. Der Gastraum war nicht mal voll. Ich war von dem Abend maximal enttäuscht und werde vorerst nicht zurückkehren.

A table for 4 is reserved. As a good guest, you report to the service, then you are shown a table in the middle of the service staff's walking area and there are free tables all around. Then we suddenly got the idea to ask if we could change tables. Lo and behold, it works. Unfortunately, the joy was short-lived; a very nice, assertive lady came to our table and told us that this was not the table we had reserved. Because our table had two benches as seating to help us relax. This circumstance led to us finding ourselves in the running zone again. All of this just because we would like to sit back a bit. The order was taken, then the dilemma continued. After the starter is before the main course, only this came so quickly. The starter dishes were swapped for the main course plates. They tried to clear away my tea glass so quickly, but I was just drinking too slowly. The disappointment was clearly visible on the service employee's face. For this brilliant performance they were not prepared to pay just a cent more than the bill was. Conclusion, the menu prices do not reflect the disorganized service team. Employee satisfaction cannot be high.

We were at the Brauwerk yesterday with a larger group (12 people) and we keep wondering what's actually going wrong with the service there. You arrive, take your seats and nothing happens at first. After about a quarter of an hour I asked the waitress if we could order drinks, she explained she wasn't responsible for that because she didn't have a device to take orders. At some point her colleague came and took orders. In the meantime we asked several times about seat cushions and whether the table could still be wiped down. The waitress was visibly annoyed. Basically you had to explain to her exactly what you wanted every time. Actually, all things that should be a given in a restaurant. During the course of the evening you always had to look carefully to see if there was a waitress somewhere to order drinks. Otherwise, most of the time the service staff stood inside at the reception desk and chatted. Since orders were regularly forgotten, we had to keep asking. At some point the food came. Unfortunately no cutlery. When we told the waitress several times that the cutlery was missing, she first asked how many forks, knives and spoons we wanted. Unfortunately, the food itself is just mediocre. Little seasoning, small portions, the sauces are sometimes just thick, tasteless mush, frozen vegetables, etc... Price/performance is definitely not right. Anyone who can cook a little can do it better. The cocktails consisted mostly of multivitamin juice and alcohol was forgotten, which was then added later. It's also funny that two of the same cocktails actually had different colors. It's a shame, I've been going to the Brauwerk every now and then for years due to a lack of alternatives, but the service just doesn't get any better. There are problems with the simplest things, and I find it completely incomprehensible how a boss can accept this. The store actually has so much potential but unfortunately not enough is made of it. We were here often to eat. At the beginning the quality of the food was excellent, but now we noticed that some components of the dishes were not of the same quality as at the beginning. The restaurant is impressive, the service is very young, which doesn't affect the quality. I would come to the Brauwerk again, would like the food to be of good, consistent quality.

It's definitely worth a visit. You wouldn't think so in Schwedt. You are even more surprised. Absolutely recommended.

The food is hearty, the portions are generous, the beer is ok. Our service was great, the beer garden is very nice, and the inside also looks very inviting. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very good.

Very nice location in the middle of the old town

The first impression was excellent. The ambience immediately invites you and the friendly waitress assigned me a table without being asked. As a sauerbraten lover, the food (sauerbraten from water buffalo) convinced me, and not just visually. Unfortunately, I only got to try three of the six beers on tap. However, these were delicious.

I was here with five friends. We also reserved a table in advance. Recommended. The restaurant is usually well attended. Drinks were taken and served relatively quickly. Shortly afterwards, the food order was taken (extra requests will be fulfilled). Unfortunately it took a relatively long time for the food to be served and not all of the dishes came at the same time. Shouldn't be a problem with six people. The food itself was all warm and very tasty. After the food was served, it was incredibly difficult to get a waiter. When the waiter finally noticed that we wanted to pay, it took a long time for the bill to arrive. The brewery is very nice and modernly furnished. That's why 5 stars for the ambience. Definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, the service was clearly overwhelmed with the restaurant not even being half full. He seemed amateurish and untrained. The communication with the guest was clumsy and not particularly friendly. We had ordered three main courses, for which we had waited a relatively long time. The third meal came more than 10 minutes later. But we only received an explanation or apology when we asked. We weren't the only table that had problems. If we had been asked, we would certainly have had another espresso.... Unfortunately, no one showed up after dinner. We also had to ask for the bill. The meal was okay. However, after reading the menu (regional products, sustainable, organic, etc.) we expected more taste and pizzazz. Unfortunately, the water buffalo burger was cooked too long and was therefore dry. Very cozy place with good service. Very tasty beer! My choice was Kellerbier and it was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend this place!

We had a family celebration at the end of May, starting around 11:30. About this celebration to prepare, we found in Ms. Kaps from Brauwerk is the perfect contact. She was also the one who made a connection Dirk Weidner, who we knew as a former UBS actor, made this possible. Dirk Weidner has his calling now found in music and he gave us a great living room concert. From his CD Love to Infinity we especially like the quiet songs. Our guests and we were with that Lunch buffet, the service and the location very satisfied. They are very worth mentioning varied and very good tasting colorful hotplates from Baker Schaepe.

Nice location in Schwedt, spacious rooms, friendly and attentive staff, reasonable prices. Really well suited for all kinds of gatherings and lively exchanges.

Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our food. I assume that our order was forgotten because guests came after us who got their food earlier or at the next table things went quicker. When asked, they said there was a small problem with the order. It can happen from time to time, but they didn't do anything to accommodate us. In two dishes it was the case that the individual components were already ready but the meat was still missing, which is why the sauce and side dish were then warmed up and were already a little dry on the edges. But the taste was good. Unfortunately, one dish was a total failure. The goulash consisted only of sauce in which the dumplings were drowned; there was hardly any meat. That was rude and not worth the money. The service staff were very nice, but they only offered us a small dessert for one person, which unfortunately also had one component missing (the chocolate). We would have expected more accommodation for ourselves.

I really like the decor and the beer garden. The pale ale is one of the best I've ever drunk and the service is quick and very friendly, hence 5 stars. P.s. The burger was great too

I only visited the restaurant. The food was good and the beer from the home brewery was also tasty. Prices are a sensitive topic these days anyway, so I won't go into that.

First impression great. You have to bring a lot of time. Waiting times for service, especially for food, 1 hour. Restaurant climate temperature very cool. Food was miserable. Steak grilled to death, chicken gratinated with cheese. Disaster, as often reheated. Dishes not fully delivered. Staff very friendly. But it seems disorganized at times. Very long waiting times.

The food was good, but the staff was somehow "inattentive". Sometimes we waited a long time for our drinks (and there wasn't much going on) or even had to take action ourselves and go to the "counter".

Today's women's day breakfast at the brewery, that should be an event for €16.95. Totally disappointing, coffee, tea and juice were not included in the price, I think the drinks are included in breakfast. There was no small attention, no decoration, let alone a flower for the women. The normal hotel breakfast costs €16.50, which of course includes drinks! The buffet was nothing special that you might expect at an event. There was a glass of champagne or orange juice, which is probably considered an event!!! Unfortunately, we fell for the actually great idea of ​​the women's day breakfast, which we can't recommend. A pity !!!

Waren hier, weil eine andere Lokalität im Ort, bei welcher wir am Vorabend waren, keinen freien Platz mehr hatte. Und was soll ich sagen? Wir waren begeistert! Das Essen, der Service, die Location, mit allem waren wir top zufrieden. Besonders auch die Möglichkeit mehrere Biere mit dem 4er Probierpaket zu probieren, hat uns sehr gefallen!

The service is really good...very friendly and caring...restaurant very modern and furnished with great attention to detail, something special for Sweden...but the food I had wasn't great and we stayed up late Waited for the food...I have to say that I recently had a meal there and ate currywurst which I didn't like either...the consistency was very questionable...this time I had steak au four...the meat was dry 'There was hardly any seasoned meat on it, the cheese was too dark... the best thing was the salad which had plenty of dressing on it... those were my experiences there... I know that many people like to go there... I can imagine Just don't introduce yourself because of the food...sorry

No recommendation!!! Some of the food was brought late or forgotten. When the food arrived it was burnt, unseasoned and drowned in tasteless sauce. The service was nice but overwhelmed. The atmosphere was clean but very loud. More things were noted on the invoice than were ordered. Once and never again!!!

We were there for dinner with 10 people. It was disappointing. One meal was completely forgotten. The others arrived with a long delay. The food was hardly seasoned. The salt shakers on the table were empty. One pie was burnt. Dessert came after we were ready to leave. It must also be said that although the prices did not increase, the portions were significantly smaller.

Very nice and fast service, good food and lots of regional products on the menu.

The food was tasty but the portion was very small, Staff was friendly but it was over at 10 p.m....

Also das Essen war wirklich wunderschön anzusehen und hat auch wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt, Das Bier war sehr gut. das Personal war sehr freundlich und höfflich. Jedoch hat es leider ziemlich lange gedauert bis jemand zum Ende hin zu uns an den Tisch kam und wir bezahlen konnten.

Sehr schöne Location mit gutem Essen u leckerem Selbstgebrautem! Meine Favoriten waren das Rot- u Schwarzbier!

Tolles Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen, auch ein vielfältiges vegetarisches Angebot. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis super, große Portionen. Besondere Atmosphäre dank der hauseigenen Brauerei. Service sehr nett, äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Habe hier mit meinen Geschwistern meinen 70. gefeiert. Alle schwärmen noch heute vom guten Essen und den tollen selbstgebrauten Bieren. Auch das Ambiente ist gut, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Preise sind angemessen. Wir kommen sicher bald mal wieder vorbei.

Ein außergewöhnliches Restaurant. Die Architektur und das Ambiente sind etwas Besonderes und sehr sehenswert. Das Essen ist absolut empfehlenswert. Das Getränkeangebot sehr vielfältig mit dem gewissen Extra. Aber was wäre all das ohne das nette, hilfsbereite und fachkomprtente Personal? Herzlichen Dank für den wunderbaren Abend.

Seit Langem unser erster Besuch im Brauwerk und leider sehr enttäuschend. Wir haben fast eine Dreiviertelstunde auf die Getränke gewartet und noch länger auf das Essen. Alle servierten Gerichte waren eine Katastrophe! Das Steak trocken, fettig und absolut sehnig. Die Spareribs waren ebenfalls trocken und fettig. Das Fleisch lies sich fast nicht vom Knochen lösen. Der Hackbraten war genauso trocken und hat komplett künstlich nach Fertigware geschmeckt. Die Qualität der Speisen stand in keinem Verhältnis zu den verlangten Preisen. Der Service war ok aber auch da wurden wir oft vergessen und „uns selbst überlassen“. Letztlich hat nur das Ambiente überzeugt. Dennoch werden wir von einem weiteren Besuch absehen.
