Our regular table at the Greek restaurant Every Sunday we meet in our favorite Greek restaurant for our regulars' table. The food is usually very good, and if it doesn't meet our expectations, we immediately look for a solution. The boss is always warm and her friendly manner ensures that we always feel welcome and comfortable. The pleasant atmosphere and service make every visit a nice end to the week

Very tasty food, very friendly staff. Furnishing: just like the Greek restaurants were in the 90s.

We were there on Saturday with several people. The first and last time for me! A dingy entrance area, the landlord in a baggy T-shirt, bad teeth in his mouth. A meal wasn't even brought, mine was missing the fries and it was too salty. Another had ordered a platter...the meat was piled carelessly on the plate, almost burnt, the liver was cut very thin and was black. The ouzo was served at room temperature, neither the glass nor the ouzo were ice cold, and there were no ice crystals in sight. The service is terrible! You had to order your own drinks at the “bar”, no demand, no interest in serving the guests. The missing dish was excused by the fact that the service staff doesn't speak German! The rooms seemed to me to be in desperate need of renovation, and in general everything seemed a bit dingy to me. There was no apology, no accommodation from the operator. I will never eat there again and I can't recommend it.

We ordered food to pick up yesterday, the mixed platters were very tasty, especially the gyros. But I would have liked a dollop of tzatziki with it. Otherwise very good 👍

I would prefer not to give a star. Days ago we made reservations for our first wedding anniversary with this Greek guy. We came in and said, as one does, we have reservations for 6 p.m. in the name... Without looking at the list of reserved names, a table in the back corner was pointed out. Without accompanying us at the table, we went to the table shown. My husband and I didn't even have the opportunity to sit across from each other and our legs kept getting in each other's way. The wall lamp above the table was full of dust, cobwebs and decorated with a dead moth. If visible areas look like that, I didn't even want to imagine what it looks like behind the scenes. That's why we left the restaurant straight away without eating or drinking anything. I would have understood if we hadn't made a reservation and no other table had been available... but if you make a reservation you expect a correspondingly well-kept and spacious table. After all, you go to a restaurant not only to enjoy the food, but also to enjoy the atmosphere with the appropriate service. Might as well have gone to a diner. We didn't feel comfortable in this restaurant.

We went here for dinner on a Saturday. Table reserved in advance for 6 p.m., which was urgently needed because the restaurant was completely booked. Despite the many guests, the service worked very well. It should be clear to everyone that in a fully booked restaurant you won't get your food within 10 minutes. The dishes we were served were all excellent. We'd love to come back.

Was there on the 1st day of Christmas. The employee was wearing a lumberjack shirt and looked like he had just come from a construction site. Were placed in a next room where a waiter almost never came by, so there was no way to order drinks. They also didn't ask if everything was good with the food, which was the case. After an hour I got the salads, coleslaw etc. The main courses came another 30 minutes later, which doesn't work at all. Went there because the store used to have a very good reputation, I can't confirm that at all. There are definitely better Greeks out there

The food is good and tasty. Typically Greek. Restaurant somewhat hidden in a residential area. The small summer garden is nice.

The restaurant was full and the service was okay. Since it was so crowded, it was quite loud. The atmosphere was typical of a Greek restaurant. A menu with a lot of choice. The portions were generous, but salt was not spared in all dishes. What was unusual was that no ouzo was offered “from the house”. But I would eat here again.

Wir wollten abends zum Griechen und entschieden uns für ‚Odysseus‘. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht von Weihnachtsfeiern, Freundeskreisen, Paare. Einen der letzten Tische bekamen wir. Bestellung wurde aufgenommen, Knoblauchbrot und Tsatsiki wollten wir vorweg, danach die Hauptgerichte: Gefülltes Bifteki in Metaxasauce und Grillteller mit Gyros und Souvlaki. Die Teller mit Krautsalat kamen schnell, er war total lecker. Dann kamen die Hauptgerichte, die Küche hatte die Sachen vorweg nicht auf dem Zettel. Die Gerichte waren lecker, gute Qualität, gut abgeschmeckt. Der nachgeorderte Tsatsiki war geschmacklich ok, das Knobibrot auch gut. Alles in allem: Wir kommen wieder!

Very very tasty. We ordered a plate. The meat was juicy and the gyros were cooked to perfection. The rice tastes a bit boring. Not bad. I'm sure you'll have this sorted out by my next visit. The service staff is super friendly. Not a long wait.

The restaurant was well attended. My order came after about 15 minutes. There was no ouzo. The gyros were the best I've had in the last 30 years. Unfortunately the rice was very dry. I wouldn't order extra tzatziki there again.

Very, very tasty food. We were there on Friday evening and it was very well attended. A reservation is therefore recommended. I had a giro pan with cheese gratin and tzatziki as a starter. I was thrilled. Only the fries have some room for improvement. However, the rice should be top notch. The service was also friendly, courteous and on the ball. A visit to this restaurant is therefore without reservation a recommendation and will certainly not be the last for us.

We were there on a Friday evening. The food was excellent and the ambience speaks for itself... just as you imagine the taverns to be. Kind of quaint...the service was attentive at first, but it slowed down as the restaurant got busier. We definitely will come again.

We had to wait forever for the menus and the food, almost 45 minutes. Others who came later than us already got their food and we still had to wait. Very poorly organized! The ouzo was simply put there without asking if anyone wanted one. And finally, the bill was charged €6.00 ​​too much. Never again!!!

I have to make my displeasure known. We were in the restaurant this evening. At first it took an incredibly long time until we received a menu and even more so until we could place our order. Once we did that, it took a long time for the food to arrive. The waitress didn't even think it was necessary to apologize for the long wait. Really a shame. When we got the food, the fries were cold, the meat was ok and the price was really overpriced for the small portion. My conclusion - once and not again. Too bad. The waitress miscalculated the bill to our disadvantage. May other customers like the store more than we do. A disappointing evening in the restaurant. Really a shame.

One of the most disappointing service experiences of my life. When no one came to us after 25 minutes to take an order or at least drinks, we had to leave the restaurant. Anyone who plans so poorly and doesn't plan enough staff on a Saturday evening shouldn't run a restaurant. I find this extremely disrespectful as people take the time. And go there for nothing. Avoid the restaurant

I ate at the Odysseus today on the recommendation of work colleagues. First impression was very well maintained and cozy but then I mean, if you ask the service whether you can also dine outside and are assigned a seat, I expect something present, especially if you only have 5 guests But unfortunately it was more important for the service to smoke outside the door than to pay attention to their guests and when you were able to order you were simply forgotten so you had to constantly run after them. In my opinion a no go, the food was beautifully and plentifully prepared but there is a lack of taste, better spice and cold after 2 minutes. And for the perfect finish you are still deducted because the drinks are simply be billed twice. I found the prices outrageous: an ouzo 3€ tzatziki 5€😬 I know from most locals that tzatziki is a free side dish. Overall I can say it was okay but I wouldn't recommend the place

We only had a beer but the restaurant smells of food so it must be delicious. An atmospheric place perfect for a quiet meeting with friends or a date.

The worst and poorest food and service I had had in my life. We waited 2 hours and all the dishes were wrong and an arrogant Sef. I will not go to this restaurant again.

Food was burnt and dry, it didn't taste good. I don't eat there anymore. It's a shame we were actually celebrating a birthday, not even an apology.

Were there for the first time, unfortunately the prices on the homepage don't match the prices on the menu, I think the prices are above average and a large Coke 0.5 for 5 euros is way too expensive, the food was OK but no more, fries with gyros for 14.50 EUR and on the homepage 11.50 EUR?!!! This restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and the food is good. This time I only ordered take-away, but I have also eaten there several times. This time the rice was extremely dry and I felt the onions could have been a little more. There used to be 1 olive and 1 pepperoni, but I assume in the spirit of austerity measures and price increases due to VAT, this is no longer included. There is an associated bowling alley for sporty guests. Service is good and the staff is friendly. The takeaway food came very quickly, but that was probably because it was very warm and I was there right after it opened and there were few guests there at that time. Because of where I live, it only takes me about 5 minutes to walk to get there. If you like Greek cuisine, you should try it there.

Tasty, generous portions, good quality and balanced seasoning. Only the rice is tasteless. The included salad consists almost entirely of coleslaw. The prices for starters are sometimes high compared to the main courses. The decor is old school.

I'm already an old geezer! The first time I went to a Greek restaurant (anno domine), there was good food, plenty of drinks (ouzo), lots of nice people! Unfortunately, this is no longer the case for most Greeks! With Odysseus it does!

Were there yesterday with the company. The food: super tasty 👍 The fries and the tzatziki seasoned once. Never had it so tasty at a Greek restaurant. 🤤 The Giros is crispy without being dry. The bifteki are light and juicy. Simply great. Super Service. About the ambience: The old bowling alley is getting old and a bit musty, but somehow that's part of my childhood memories 😉 Felt very comfortable and welcome all around. Only the toilets are ultra small. Not for tall people. Unfortunately there are not enough parking spaces, so it's better to come on foot or by bike if possible.

Sehr nettes Ambiente, der Service war auch toll, immer schnell zur Stelle gewesen. Auf das Essen mussten wir auch nicht lange warten, die Teller waren gut gefüllt. Es schmeckte auch sehr gut, Gyros, Reis, Pommes und der Krautsalat schmeckten gut und frisch. Wir gehen dort auf jeden Fall wieder hin.

Für alle nicht Vegetarier ein sehr schönes Lokal, aber für 2 (Vegetarier) von unserer 10er Gruppe war die Auswahl leider nicht so groß. So 2-3 fantasivolle vegetarische Gerichte stehen heutzutage auf jeder Speicherkarte. Wir Vegetarier teilten uns eine Vorspeidenplatte auf der leider überwiegend frittiertes serviert wurde. Dabei gibt es doch so viel Auswahl an frischem Gemüse und Hülsenfrüchte in der grichischen Küche. Vielleicht eine kleine Anregung für die Speicherkarte. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Abend mit lieben Freunden.

Das Essen war geschmacklich gut und lecker. Das Gyros kam kross gebraten. Und die Preise sind ebenfalls gut. Jedoch wurde zu den Speisen kein Tzatziki gereicht (ich weiß nicht, ob er vergessen wurde oder ob es nie welchen dazu gibt), sodass das Essen etwas trocken war. Ich hatte frittierte Calamari, leider fehlte m. M. nach die Zitrone dazu. Anfangs wirkten die Wirtsleute etwas überfordert und schlecht gelaunt, das hat sich jedoch später gegeben. Trotzdem fühlte man sich nicht sonderlich willkommen. Ausnahme war der jüngere, blonde Kellner, er war durchweg souverän und freundlich. Ist es hier nicht üblich, dass (kostenlos) zu Anfang und am Ende Ouzo gereicht wird? So kenne ich es zumindest. Das war ebenfalls nicht der Fall.

Wir waren das erste mal im Odysseus essen... Haben ca. 45 Minuten auf unser Essen warten müssen!! (4 Personen) Gäste die nach uns angekommen sind haben das Essen vor uns bekommen.. Dazu war das Essen sehr überwürzt, ist Geschmackssache, uns war es zu viel des Guten!! Bedienung war freundlich, mehr aber auch nicht!! Preise sind ok!! FAZIT: Einmal und nie wieder!!

Wir haben sehr kurzfristig noch einen Tisch für 2 Personen Samstag Abends bekommen. Der Chef war sehr freundlich und es herrschte eine herzliche Atmosphäre (viele Stammgäste). Der Service war sehr schnell und höflich. Wir hatten zwei Vorspeisen, Tzatziki und gegrillte Pepperoni; lecker. Die Platte war für 2 und mehr Personen (Souvlaki, Bifteki, Leber, Gyros) mit Reis und Pommes. Dazu einen großen! Salatteller und Tzatziki. Alles saftig, gut gewürzt und frisch! Wir haben die Reste einpacken lassen und den Wein sowie die Ouzos genossen. Gastfreundlich und preiswert (bei großen Portionen). Ein echter Tipp. Danke für den Abend und die Gespräche :).

In einem Wohngebiet befindliches sehr gutes griechisches Restaurant. Sogar eine Kegelbahn ist vorhanden. Sehr nette Wirtsleute. Essen lecker. Für Feiern geeignet.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Es hatte aber sehr lange gedauert bis wir uner Essen bekamen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Ich war gestern Abend, am 17.06.2023 hier und habe mir die "Hellas Platte" zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Draussen, neben der Tür ist ein Preisaushang, auf dem die besagte Platte 15,50€ kosten soll. Als mein Essen dann fertig war und ich bezahlte, kostete die "Hellas Platte" 1€ mehr als auf der Karte im Preisaushang. Das ist mir letztes Jahr schon einmal passiert. In Zukunft werde ich dieses Restaurant meiden und von dieser nachträglichen "Preisanpassung" im Freundes- und Bekanntenkreis erzählen.^^

Komme aus Hamburg und kenne wirklich viele griechische Restaurants,aber welche Gaumenfreuden ich am 25.03.23 erleben dürfte war einzigartig ! Das Gericht und die einzelnen Beilagen waren perfekt zubereitet ! Die Gastfreundschaft der Besitzer und Angestellten erste Sahne ! Das Erlebnis möchte ich bald wieder erfahren und kann es nur jeden empfehlen

Sehr gutes familiäres Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche und sehr freundlichen Bedienung. Zu Spitzenzeiten empfiehlt es sich eine Tischreservierung zu tätigen oder eine Bereitschaft für Wartezeiten mitzubringen.

Wir waren schon öfters hier, und es war jedes Mal fantastisch. Das Essen ist heiß, appetitlich und einfach lecker. Das Ambiente ist nett, sympathisch, griechisch halt. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Schade, dass man mindestens einen Stern geben muss: der ist zuviel. Wir waren am 11.02.2023 dort und ich hatte Souvlaki mit Bauernsalat... Die Tomaten vom Salat waren mehlig (alt), beim Bauernsalat (Beilage) noch nicht mal Olive, Hirtenkäse, Peperoni oder so). Die Speise selber sah lecker aus, jedoch war das Souvlaki ekelhaft. Die Fleischstücke waren entweder nicht durch oder speckig. Wer dauerhaft auf Fleisch kauen mag, sollte diese Speise bestellen. Der Teller ging nahezu unberührt zurück, auf die Frage seitens der Servicekraft, ob alles in Ordnung war, wurde auf meine Antwort: "Nein, es schmeckte nicht" nicht reagiert. Ich musste den vollen Preis dafür bezahlen (Euro 16,00). Mein Mann bestellte 0,5l weißen Imiglikos, der nicht geliefert wurde. Weder Wein noch letztendlich der Preis (Euro 12,50) dazu stimmte. Fazit: voller Teller zurück, (zu-)viel Geld bezahlt und eher unfreundliche Bedienung. Ach, wie schön war dieses griechische Restaurant mal... Empfehlung: LINDOS oder DAPHNE ist nicht weit entfernt und deutlich besser!

Die Leber mit Gyros einfach super , Leider wurde dieses Gericht von der Karte genommen aber die Bremer Platte ist auch zu empfehlen. Gestern nochmal dort gewesen Tendenz fallend. Das war vorerst der letzte Besuch dort

Spontan dort einen Tisch reservieren und nach 15 Minuten warten wir schon da. War sehr viel los, also sehr gut besucht. Der Chef, denke ich hat uns selbst bedient, sehr herzlich. Das Essen dann sehr schnell und war sehr, sehr lecker. Das Fleisch auf den Punkt gegrillt und auch die Pommes z.B. lecker. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Waren gestern das erste Mal da und was sollen wir sagen SUPER, ECHT LECKERES ESSEN UND DIE BEDIENUNG, MEHR ALS NETT. Eigentlich würden wir sehr gerne mehr Sterne vergeben. Auf alle Fälle kommen wir wieder. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Sehr freundliches Personal, hilfsbereit beim ändern des Gerichts, werden gegen ein auf Preis sofort geändert ,, Zu der Preis Politik möchte ich mich nicht äußern." Es wird sehr viel von Stammgästen besucht. Die Atmosphäre ist, als angenehm zu betrachten. Die habe einen wunderbaren Garten, wo man sehr schön sitzen kann, es ist sehr hübsch geworden.

Das Rundumsorglospaket an Gastronomie : Ambiente, Essen und Service ist einfach sehr sehr gut. Jeder Abend bei Odysseus und Martina ist ein gelungener Abend. Wie ein Besuch im griechischen Wohnzimmer:-)

Hallo. .. wir gehen hier schon seit Generationen essen. Sie sahen mich und meine Tochter aufwachsen... es ist dort sehr familienfreundlich. Jeder ist willkommen. Wenn die Zeit reicht kommen sie gerne an den Tisch für ein Gespräch. Die Räume sind immer mit viel Liebe dekoriert so das man sich dort wirklich zuhause fühlen kann. So nun zum Essen ... Es gibt etwas für jeden Geschmack dort. Es schmeckt immer richtig lecker 😋 so das man mehr isst als man sollte. Die Portionen sind reichlich. Und wenn mal eine Essens Kombination geändert werden soll dann machen sie das auch wenn möglich. Auch das essen wird schön serviert denn das Auge isst ja schließlich mit. Es gibt auch einen Aussenbereich wo man schön sitzen kann im Sommer und einen Wintergarten so das sogar die Raucher unter den Schleckermäulern nach dem Essen raus gehen können und trocken bleiben jetzt in der kalten und nassen Jahreszeit. Odysseus ist wirklich immer wieder ein Besuch wert. Sogar wenn man feiern möchte lassen sie sich etwas einfallen.... also wir sehen uns dann das nächste Mal dort... euer Schleckermaul Nicky

Ich kann das Restaurant sehr weiter empfehlen das Essen wird immer sehr schön zubereitet aber es gibt halt leider 1 Kritik punkt der Service Dauert meistens sehr lange ich meine damit das man auf Getränke oft eine halbe stunde und so wartet aber ess ist mit das leckere essen wert wenn ich mal viel zeit mit familie verbringen möchte 😋😁
