Heute Abend (19.07.26) war ich im Noorjahan. Was für ein schönes Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal und hervorragendem Essen! Die Preise waren gut und die Portionen reichlich. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl an Gerichten, darunter auch vegetarische. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen, wenn Sie gerne scharf essen. Sie werden nach Ihrem Schärfegrad gefragt, sodass das Essen genau nach Ihrem Geschmack zubereitet wird. Ausgezeichnetes Essen. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ausgezeichneter Service. PS: Am 20.07.26 war ich erneut dort. Das Essen war sogar noch besser!

Eines der besten Butter Chicken, das ich bisher gegessen habe! So frisch und perfekt gewürzt und der Inhaber war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider war ich nur kurz in der Stadt, sonst würde ich auf jeden Fall regelmäßig dort essen.

Großartiges Essen! Und ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Absolut empfehlenswert (10/10).

Ein außergewöhnliches Restaurant für Chili-Liebhaber: Das „Curry“ war im Grunde ein Tomatenpüree, nur mit Chili gewürzt. Man kann dieses außergewöhnliche Porridge in fünf Schärfegraden genießen und dazu verschiedene Toppings wie Zwiebelscheiben, Hähnchen oder Paneer wählen. Als Vorspeise hatten wir bunte, frittierte Kohlbällchen – diesmal ohne Chili und Salz. Ein freundlicher junger Mann gab sein Bestes, um uns dieses außergewöhnliche Abendessen zu servieren.

Ich war an einem Freitagabend mit 2 weiteren Freundinnen da. Der Abend war wirklich rundum perfekt. Der Service war sehr schnell und es hat sich sehr familiär angefühlt. Das Essen kam total schnell, war super lecker und die Portionen waren perfekt. Auch das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich. Super gerne kommen wir wieder. Danke für den schönen Abend!

Einfach himmlisch lecker. Zweifellos das beste indische Restaurant in Aachen.

Vom Essen her top. Frischer Koriander, gute Gewürze, ausreichend große Gerichte, leckeres Kokos Naan uvm. Gut, der Lassi ist für mich zu süß mit zu viel Zucker, aber ansonsten ist jedes Gericht bisher qualitativ 5 Sterne. Sehr überzeugend. Die Räumlichkeiten sind überschaubar und könnten besser und schöner sein.

Schon vor der Tür duftete es herrlich, und drinnen wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Wir aßen köstlich, und die Leute waren sehr freundlich. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren zu viert im Noorjahan und waren überaus zufrieden. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und das Essen unglaublich gut.

Da geht man nach der Therme zu "irgendeinem" Inder, und bekommt das beste Dal aufgetischt, dass man je gegessen hat. Geschmacklich 11 von 10! Preis ist gerechtfertigt!

Das beste Tikka Masala, das ich je gegessen habe! Einfach köstlich. Die Besitzerin, Noorjahan, ist wirklich sehr nett. Unbedingt probieren!

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, und sie waren sogar so freundlich, uns noch etwas zu essen zuzubereiten, obwohl sie gerade schließen wollten. Wir hatten nach einer langen Reise ein wunderbares Abendessen!

Leckeres, authentisches indisches Essen.

Wir waren an einem Donnerstag um 19 Uhr da und hatten insgesamt nur etwa 45 Minuten Zeit, da wir Karten für eine Veranstaltung um 20 Uhr im Eurogress hatten. Dies teilten wir dem Kellner mit und fragten, ob die Zeit denn reichen würde. Der Kellner sagte ja, informierte seinerseits den Koch und alles klappte zeitlich: das Essen kam schon 20 Minuten später und wir konnten in Ruhe essen. Das Essen ist mit das Beste, was ich an indischen Gerichten je gegessen habe. Lediglich ein indisches Restaurant, das wir im Schottlandurlaub besucht haben, kann da überhaupt mithalten. Die Ausstattung ist schon eher "studentisch", was aber eben auch eine gewisse Gemütlichkeit und Ungezwungenheit vermittelt, was mir und meiner Frau sehr gefiel. Beim Essen konnte man ersehen, dass beste Zutaten verwendet werden für die Gerichte, Stichwort: Paneer. Daher fanden wir die Preise (ca. 21€ pro Hauptgericht) vollkommen angemessen. Wir überlegen uns schon Gründe, wieder nach Aachen zu müssen ... 😉

Ein ordentliches Restaurant für einen Montagabend, dem es jedoch an wirklichem Anspruch mangelte. Positiv war: Die Würzung war genau richtig und die Schärfe wie erwartet, was sehr angenehm war. Die Sauce war im Allgemeinen gut und ausgewogen. Die Zubereitung ließ jedoch deutlich zu wünschen übrig. Das Hähnchen schien separat gegart und erst im letzten Moment zur Sauce gegeben worden zu sein, ohne dass die Aromen richtig einziehen konnten. Dadurch fehlte dem Gericht die Tiefe, die man normalerweise von dieser Art von Gericht erwartet. Dasselbe galt für das Knoblauch-Naan. Der Knoblauch wirkte, als sei er einfach nur darauf gestreut und an der Oberfläche gegrillt worden, ohne richtig eingearbeitet zu werden. Das erweckte den Eindruck einer schnellen Zubereitung statt sorgfältiger Vorbereitung. Die Saucen zu den Vorspeisen wirkten wie Massenware. Es gab keine Warmhalteplatte, und das Geschirr war minderwertig (ein Teller war sogar angeschlagen), was definitiv ein Minuspunkt war. Im Speisesaal saßen wir in einer Ecke mit Blick auf die Straße, obwohl das Restaurant nicht voll besetzt war, was das Erlebnis etwas einschränkte. Kurz gesagt: Geschmacklich in Ordnung und gut gewürzt, aber die Zubereitung war zu simpel und es fehlte an Liebe zum Detail. Für den Notfall okay, aber kein Restaurant, das ich empfehlen würde.

Leckeres Essen und super Service! Gemütliches Lokal. Ich gebe 3 Sterne für die Atmosphäre, weil es keine Belüftung gab und meine Kleidung unangenehm roch und meine Augen gereizt wurden. Aber das Essen war so gut, dass es die Tränen wert war. 🤣

Wenn Sie in Aachen sind und asiatisches Essen mögen, dann ist dies das beste indische Essen, das ich je gegessen habe. Einfach fantastisch.

Das war eine echte Enttäuschung für uns. Das größte Problem an dem Abend war die mangelnde Belüftung. Der Rauch aus der Küche war so stark, dass wir mit tränenden Augen und brennendem Hals dasitzten. Der Service war sehr langsam und unaufmerksam: Von den zwei Bedienungen ging eine ständig weg, um Essen zu bringen; die andere stand die meiste Zeit hinter der Theke, schob Papiere hin und her und kümmerte sich kaum um die drei besetzten Tische. Offenbar waren auch die Vorräte an Lebensmitteln zu gering: Es gab kein indisches Bier und nicht einmal normales Mineralwasser. Das Essen schmeckte zwar sehr gut, aber die Portionen waren unserer Meinung nach recht klein.

Das beste indische Restaurant in Aachen! Glaubt mir, ich habe sie alle ausprobiert! Abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte mit einer großen Auswahl, auch für Vegetarier, Menschen mit Glutenunverträglichkeit und andere Ernährungsbesonderheiten. Sehr leckeres Essen. Der Service war freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr schnell. Ich habe das traditionelle Tandoori-Hühnchen mit Reis und gemischtem Pickles bestellt.

Also… das Essen ist sehr gut. Geschmacklich top und auch ausreichend grosse Portionen. Das Restaurant selber ist sehr einfach und renovierungsbedürftig. Tische wackeln und die typischen Platzdecken wirken nicht hochwertig. Was überhaupt nicht geht ist die Abluft bzw. Luft im Restaurant - entweder steht eine Wolke von Essengeruch aus der Küche im Raum oder die Tür ist auf. Das Resultat ist das man einmal alles waschen muss. Service ist nett - aber überfordert - langsam und es dauert einfach viel zu lange. Preis ist gerade für den Service und das Ambiente viel zu hoch.

Lieferung in akzeptabler Zeit, Essen heiß und geschmacklich überzeugend. Freundliche Lieferung.

Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft sehr freundlich empfangen und freuten uns über eine gemütliche, erhöhte Sitzplatznische, in der wir uns fast wie im privaten Wohnzimmer gut unterhalten konnten. Mit Blick auf die Schärfe der Speisen wurden wir vorab gut beraten.Wir wählten vegetarische Gerichte und genossen den guten Geschmack sehr. Ich hatte beim Verlassen meine Brille vergessen und war mehr als überrascht, als ein Mitarbeiter uns die überreichte, immerhin hatten wir schon ein gutes Stück Weg zurückgelegt; danke dafür, und auch für den schönen genussvollen Abend bei Ihnen.

Sehr unscheinbar, aber immer und immer wieder sehr sehr lecker! Authentische Küche, die mit Frische und echte Geschmack punktet! Sehr zu empfehlen und auch zum bestellen.

Der Empfang war etwas kühl, aber der Service war hervorragend. Die Gerichte waren frisch, reichhaltig und köstlich. Die Bedienung war freundlich und effizient, und die Rechnung angemessen. Wir kommen wieder.

A real disappointment. The biggest problem was the lack of ventilation. The smoke from the kitchen was so bad that we sat there with watery eyes and a burning throat. The smell was so strong that our clothes still smelled of the restaurant even after washing. The service was very slow and inattentive: of the two people serving, one kept leaving to deliver food; the remaining one was behind the counter, just pushing papers back and forth and ignoring the only three occupied tables. Apparently, the supplies weren't up to par either: they were out of Indian beer and even the regular sparkling water. The restaurant also does takeout: a couple had apparently ordered by phone, but still had to wait half an hour for their food, constantly coming and going. And we understand why they kept going outside, given the poor ventilation. The food tasted good, but the portions were too small. We're truly disappointed; you can't run a restaurant like that.

Excellent Indian food. It's great that you can choose the spice level. The mango chicken and the chicken thali were outstanding, the meat wonderfully tender.

The aroma is wonderful as soon as you approach. The staff is very friendly. From experience, I know that they cook authentic Indian food here. With the varying levels of spiciness, everyone who enjoys Indian cuisine will find something to their liking! Simply delicious!!!!

After 1.5 hours: "Would you like to order something else, or should I bring the bill?" We didn't just eat appetizers, and yes, it was full....

Noorjahan is a cozy and welcoming Indian restaurant in Aachen with delicious, freshly prepared dishes and very friendly service. The curries are flavorful, not too oily, and the tandoori options are excellent. Portions are generous and the atmosphere feels warm and personal. Since the restaurant is quite small, it fills up quickly — so making a reservation on weekends is highly recommended. Definitely one of the best spots in Aachen if you’re craving authentic Indian flavors!

The tastiest, freshest Indian food ever!

The food was amazing, best indian food i had in Aachen so far, but also more pricy compared to its competitors, still worth the prive. The waiter was kind and also spoke nicely in English, but everything takes too much time, from being served food to paying everything took too long.

We had the best Rogan Josh here, and I had been to many Indian Restaurants in my life. The fresh Okra was also so deliciously made. There is really good energy in the food, you can feel it is made with love. It was so good to meet Noor Jahan and her love for cooking is shining from her eyes. The whole atmosphere was really homely and cozy and her husband was also very attentive. Thank you!

Good selection of classic dishes. You can adjust the spiciness. The taste is balanced and fruity. I just don't like the taste of habanero peppers.

The food was delicious. Very tender tandoori chicken, well-seasoned. The tomato was a bit overpowering in the ginger curry. The Indian white wine was perfect, very floral, complementing the spicy spices. Highly recommended if you're in Aachen.

We order regularly from Noorjahan and are absolute fans – especially the chicken korma! The other dishes we've tried so far have also always been fresh, aromatic, and prepared with love. The quality is consistently high, and delivery is reliable and friendly. For us, this is by far the best Indian food in Aachen – highly recommended!

Arrived without a booking due to arriving in Aachen early Sunday evening on a return trip from the Czech Republic and the restaurant was very busy which to me was a good sign. The owner said a table would be available in about 1/2 an hour. Returned later and were seated immediately. The food was absolutely delicious and the owner was honest about the heat of the dishes. Cannot fault the service or the food. If ever I'm in this part of Germany again this place will 110% be visited again.

Very good Indian food. The Indian white wine is also highly recommended. Since there are only a few tables available, reservations are recommended. We were there on a Saturday evening and all the tables were taken. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while for the food. But it was worth it.

The food was very good and plentiful. It also arrived very quickly. The service was good, but not very courteous. For example, they didn't ask if we wanted any more drinks or if we enjoyed our meal. Our satisfaction seemed to be of secondary importance.

We were passing through Aachen and ate in this little Indian restaurant. It was very good, nice welcome, the boss came to talk a little with us. In terms of cuisine, nothing to complain about, hearty dishes and lots of taste. Be careful if you take the tandoori chicken, it is very spicy. But the waitress had warned us, so ok.

We had a mixed starter plate and the main course was lamb and fish and garlic bread, all very spicy and aromatic. Gladly again. You should definitely make a reservation because this Tuesday, the admittedly small restaurant was completely booked.

We had a great experience at Noor Jahan. We tried the Prawn Jalfrezi, Lamb Bhuna, Karahi Paneer, and also had rice, which was complimentary with the main courses. The Mango Lassi was good, just as you would expect from a good Indian restaurant. All the main dishes were really delicious, full of authentic flavors. The complimentary rice was decent amount but you can order extra if needed. The ambience of the restaurant was very nice and welcoming. The restaurant owners and staff were very friendly and made our experience even better. Overall, it was a wonderful visit and I would definitely recommend Noor Jahan for anyone craving good Indian food!

Visited recently with a group of 10. The hosts were really accomodating and welcoming. The food was perfect for our Indian tastebuds. Would highly recommend.

We haven't eaten so well in a long time and we'll definitely be back! Everything tasted excellent, especially the garlic naan was absolutely top class. The owners are very warm and you really feel welcome as a guest. It seems personal and familiar, completely different to many other restaurants where you are quickly "dispatched". We are already looking forward to the next visit!

We've been to this restaurant several times, and it never disappoints. The food is always amazing and the owners make us feel welcome every time. Highly recommended!

We came to this restaurant because we read good reviews, unfortunately we had a bad surprise. We were served an aperitif without the papadoums that they served to everyone. We ordered a starter called Mixed Pacora, it was very dry and very fatty, we had a piece of bread with small pieces of super dry mince. This entry was heavy and not digestible. As for the tikka masala, the sauce had turned out, very oily which we tried to hide with a spoon of crème fraîche. The boss doesn't understand because it's the most ordered dish... let's come to the Lamb Curry, €20.50 for 4 pieces of lamb... the boss called us liars and said he had 7 or 8... very expensive for not much on the plate. Very disappointed with the welcome and the service.

By far the best Indian restaurant I've eaten at. We spontaneously went to eat there without a reservation. Even though it was full, the table that had just become available was immediately cleaned for us. The food tasted great. Everything was very nicely seasoned. The Dal Tarka is only recommended. Unfortunately we were only visiting Aachen. But if we're in town again, we'll definitely come back!

Delicious food and friendly service. Good atmosphere. They were able to place us somewhere in an hour without us having a reservation. They were very helpful.

I went there with high expectations, also because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't quite do it justice. First of all, you notice the high prices: while a chicken main course costs €12 at a certain restaurant in Ponte, here it costs €18, which is 50% more. It's fair to admit that the food is better; The ingredients are more delicately seasoned and the butter chicken is nice and buttery - but not good enough to justify the price difference. The air inside was so bad that all the clothes smelled like food and they had to be washed immediately at home... the most unpleasant thing about my visit, however, was that the boss (?) treated one of his employees stupidly several times (I think her name was Nasreen). As a guest, I found this absolutely unpleasant and unprofessional! she was super nice to us. I've never felt so ashamed when visiting a restaurant!

Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Restaurant is klein, niet heel gezellig, maar het eten is voortreffelijk. Vriendelijk personeel, we zaten in eerste instantie op een niet zo leuke plek, maar er toen er gasten klaar waren en vertrokken werd ons gevraagd of we een andere plek wilden Zou hier zo weer naar toe gaan.

We got the “last” table. Totally fully booked at Christmas time. As the charming male waiter/owner said: positive stress. The waitress, on the other hand, was unfortunately a bit abrupt and sometimes rude. She doesn't need it at all. The main thing: great and delicious food. Price/performance exceeded.

We made a reservation at this Indian restaurant at very short notice and they were kind enough to welcome us 30 minutes later. A big thank you for your flexibility and speed! The dishes were delicious, well seasoned and the portions were generous. A real journey into the world of Indian taste. We were particularly pleased that we were spontaneously offered water for our dog - a very appreciated gesture. We recommend this restaurant for the warm hospitality and high quality of the food.

The best Indian restaurant in Aachen. The harmoniously balanced spices offer a welcome change from European cuisine. The owners are happy to advise you on the choice of dishes, including the level of spiciness. As a non-vegetarian, I also find the vegetarian dishes very interesting.

Accueil mitigé au départ mais ambiance vite détendue tout le long du service par des gérants sympathiques. Le menu est exhaustif, les plats servis délicieux et conformes à nos attentes. N’hésitez pas à préciser lors de la commande si vous souhaitez épicé ou non. Restaurant que je recommande, nous reviendrons à une autre occasion.

Mixed welcome at the start but quickly relaxed atmosphere throughout the service by friendly managers. The menu is exhaustive, the dishes served delicious and met our expectations. Do not hesitate to specify when ordering if you want spicy or not. Restaurant that I recommend, we will come back on another occasion.

Kleines indisches Restaurant, dass recht viele Regionen von Indien präsentieren will. Tandoor gibt's genauso wie Kashmir, und in punkto Schärfe wird genau nachgefragt und empfohlen. Ich hatte z.B. Chicken Kashmiri "scharf" bestellt, was dann prompt zu scharf für mich war - wäre ich nur mal der guten Beratung gefolgt. Meine Frau hatte ein gutes Lamm Tandoori, mittelscharf und damit für sie genau richtig. An Vorspeisen haben wir Dal, Pakora und Naan probiert, alles sehr gut. Da würden wir wieder essen gehen.
