Visited last week a friend for their buffet on weekends. Would say it’s good to go if u are missing on Indian food. They have variety from starters to desserts. Papadam , salat, achar pakodas and main course includes chhole, paneer lentil soup etc. good part is that in lunch they have only vegetarian buffet that costs you around 16 euros and in evening buffet they have veg and non veg buffet which costs around 22 euros. All in all it’s very quiet place and big as well. Good tasted good and u can have warm servings. Service was good. Staff is friendly and polite. You can plan with friends and family to visit. Accessibility is also good. All in all it can be recommended.

A very nice restaurant and very tasty food

I wanted to spend a nice evening with my husband. Far from it! The restaurant has no style at all, cold and kitschy. It was also very cold, which didn't exactly make for a comfortable evening. We decided on the buffet. I helped myself twice. The entire meal was lukewarm! It also tastes very mediocre. The service was mediocre to okay. For an Indian restaurant, absolutely no flair. The food is not recommended. I would give 0 to 1 out of 5 points. Conclusion: We won't go there anymore. But there are many good and cozy restaurants with very tasty food.

Super endroit où manger un petit déjeuner typique allemand. Les salés ou les sucrés sont excellents et pas cher . J’ai choisis de prendre mon petit déjeuner ici et pas à mon hôtel, et je ne regrette pas . Nous y sommes même revenus pour y manger plus tard dans l’après midi. Situé au pied de la cathédrale , il y a une belle terrasse pour manger à l’extérieur . .

Service was poor, the Kellnerin was unfriendly and looked irritated when we were explaining what exactly we want, ( sie hörte nicht zu ) food was not spicy at all, although we wanted it to be hot & spicy, bread was oily and not fresh, not warm as well. At the end they took 20€ per person.

Buffet is a very good option. Paneer masala dishes are very tasty.

Food is OK. But: we were there with a larger group. The billing was very chaotic with a mixture of cash register system and handouts. At first it was supposedly only possible to pay in cash, then PayPal and then credit card. At the end there were supposedly 2 meals and drinks worth €30 left open. We definitely all paid. After some discussions, we paid €30 to get out of the store. I won't come back. It could be an isolated incident, but to me it appeared to be a mixture of poor organization and an attempt to circumvent the tax office.

Very friendly welcome - our two dogs were also welcome. There were also dishes for vegetarians at the buffet, which tasted absolutely fine. Very careful service staff who really had a lot to do and sometimes served the guests while running.

Mega delicious food! My absolutely favorite Indian restaurant in Aachen! I have ordered from there several times now and have been satisfied every time! The butter paneer is definitely my favorite dish there! The rice, the sauce and especially the plain naan taste so good! I can definitely recommend it!

Good value for money Pleasant service

Recommended for anyone who wants bad Indian ready-made food warmed in the microwave for ten times the price in combination with the charm of a cross-border owner. Don't let the good reviews fool you. Anyone who has never had Indian food will also find this disgrace delicious. We have been going out for Indian food for many years - this was by far our worst Indian meal. There are also significantly (and that's an understatement) better ones in Aachen.

We recently visited this restaurant and were really very disappointed. Of course I read the negative reviews beforehand but I thought we'd give it a try anyway. And actually it was very bad. Starting from the service to the food, it wasn't good. One dish was way too salty, but the other was totally bland. There are definitely better Indian restaurants in Aachen if you know your way around. You can save yourself the trip here. It's way too expensive for the quality! We won't be coming back.

Food very good. Unfortunately, tap water is not served and you cannot pay by card.

Completely unsuitable for bowling. The train costs 3-4 times as much as other stores. The train or the toilet are really not well maintained or in good condition. The shop closes at 10 p.m. and every beer, whether Kölsch or Pils, is served in a wheat glass. So you should only go there to eat.

08/24 Lunch. First choice buffet. After viewing this, I opted for the card. It no longer looked appetizing. Then had a nice meal. Despite the request, the food was not spicy at all Original Delicious Indian food on the terrace. Friendly service, delicious curry and great price. Tip: be a little less frugal with papadums

Danke Nobis!!! Seit 39 Jahren ist der Aachener Reisfladen mein Lieblingskuchen. Heute früh wurde ich überrascht von meinem Mann zum Geburtstag mit einem Reisfladen. Man muss dazu sagen, ich komm aus dem schönen Aschaffenburg und Nobis hat es ermöglicht, dass ich ihn daheim essen konnte :-). Vielen Dank für diese wundervolle Erinnerung an meine Kindheit!

Ottimo posto dove fare colazione. Personale gentilissimo e veloce. Tantissimi posto a sedere compresa una terrazza a piano di sopra con vista cattedrale. Allo stesso livello della terrazza c'è una sala molto accogliente con delle finestre che danno sulla cattedrale. Dolci e caffè ottimi!

Food is ofcourse delicious from this place. What I didn't like is it was packed in foam plates. Please avoid using foam plates for food delivery

I always enjoy eating here. However, this time I had a voucher from Social Deal for the lunch buffet. The "choice between different meat dishes" was limited to a chicken curry! It was delicious but I've eaten much better here. There were also two vegetarian dishes, breaded flower cabbage and a dish with Indian cheese? The starter consisting of fresh salad and various baked vegetables was delicious. The promised mango ice cream as dessert was not available. We received another one without comment and only after asking was the information: since it is closed on Mondays, it wasn't delivered on Tuesday!? Our coffee order was initially lost. Five minutes later the waitress didn't know what we had ordered. And that even though the restaurant was almost empty. Conclusion: the voucher for the three-course menu is not worth it. Other family members also had the same experience in the evening. What is positive is that the children aged 3 and 5 were allowed to eat for free.

I ate there today with a voucher for a 4-course menu from Social Deal and it was really great. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, service was great and the food was great. Clear recommendation to take a look there.

Tried the Sunday buffet. Had very good spread of vegetation options. Dal tadka was excellent and a must try. The breads were thin and made as per requests. If you want to try Indian food in Aachen, Maharaja would be the best option.

The restaurant has very good food and is suitable for our group... Large tables and comfortable chairs, unlike European restaurants.. It costs about 25 euros per person (one meal and one drink)... It is better to come walking because it is difficult by car!

The food is not so authentic, especially the spice; it feels like it is a "lite" version of Indian food. In addition, the taste is not the best as well and the portions were relatively small (Food: 3/5). The place and the service were good (5/5).

Pleasant surprise at this restaurant. The food was very tasty, we ordered a 3-course menu, starter, main course and dessert. The chicken korma, very delicious, as well as the rest. The sauces to accompany the bread, very tasty. It is a large restaurant and we saw they have a buffet. The person who attended us, the lady was very kind. You have a parking lot (paid) a few steps away. We loved it and we will surely return.

For me, the food is one of the best Asian dishes in the Aachen area. The seats outside are ok, but unfortunately right on a busy street. The seats and the restaurant inside are not that great but still ok. Friendly, good service, great food. Price/performance is right. I will eat there again shortly.

Nobis am Dom. Unser Haus Bäckerei. Immer wenn wir Aachen besuchen kommen wir gerne zu Nobis Frühstücken. Herrliches Brot und geback. Belegte brötchen und Frühstück. Dazu einen guten Kaffee. Nicht vergessen Aachener printen mit nach Hause zu nehmen.

Surprisingly good! The food was typically Indian and was very tasty for us. Service was attentive and in a good mood. The furnishings look more like there was an Asian person in there before, so there is still room for improvement. Negative, but not really but then again. Depends on the guests. So we go out for a quick smoke and the next course is already there. But we were kindly informed that there was food at the table. Nice evening, we'll be back

The atmosphere in the restaurant is rather cool, there is no kitsch or decoration, the music is simple. But the welcome was very warm, the service staff was extremely friendly, and her male colleagues made sure several times that everything was to our satisfaction. Price is more than okay! Best Indian restaurant in Aachen. Samosas completely recommended!

We were there for the buffet on Friday evening. We had two tables put together without any problems and were served very attentively. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The ambience is very nice for an Indian restaurant, the music is unobtrusive and there is plenty of space. We would like to come again.

A very good restaurant, it makes my head spin! This restaurant was recommended to me by an Indian friend and it tastes great, I will elaborate on it later. Because I think a good restaurant not only has good food, but also service. I can hardly see anything clearly! But I don’t know if one of the waiters discovered it, or she was very good to begin with. She has always taken good care of me. I ate at the buffet (because I couldn't see the menu, and again, I couldn't order), but the food at the table next to me was very interesting and smelled really good, so I kept asking what they were eating, and then The sister also introduced them very carefully. Because of the rain, there were only a medium number of people in the restaurant today, so everyone was taken care of and it felt like everyone was quite happy. However, I recommend something refreshing to drink with it. Indian food pays great attention to the use of milk and oil. I feel full and happy after eating. Beverages are not included, and the buffet is 18 euros per person, which is not a surprise.

This is the only Indian restaurant in Aachen that has served decent Indian food over the years I have lived here. It's not great - predictable menu, heavy on the cream and fat. However, they are consistent and you know what to expect. However, I visited recently and the prices have surged and the portion sizes have dropped. They even charged 1.5 euros for a flimsy takeaway box which I felt was ridiculous!

We went bowling here and ordered drinks. We actually wanted to eat while bowling, but we weren't allowed to. The bowling alley can be booked for up to 30 people, but the room was almost too small for 20 people. We already have 2 Cola Zeros for €5.90 each. cost and in the end we couldn't even pay with a card. 👎👎

We waited an hour for our food. The service is not good. It wasn't told where which dish was when we finally got the food. A plate was missing. The waiters just ignored us. The people who ordered later than us got their food earlier. Never again 🫠

Unfortunately not as hoped. I followed reviews and the food itself is not bad, but it is very expensive for what you get. Furthermore, the restaurant is really very unpleasant. Almost without atmosphere with the bright lighting and design that was chosen. All rows instead of cozy spots. The service was friendly, but there was no time to look at the menu. I had to indicate 4 times that we were still looking at the map. Even after this everything was actually very fast. Shame.... All in all too expensive for what you get, not pleasant and rushed. Not something for a relaxing evening out for dinner and not worth repeating for us.

Food is good and reliable with menu options...service is good though little slow....You can request the customization of some curries. Sizzelrs are really good and have good flavors. Naan is also good along with curries .

The food is always very tasty and the portions are generous. You shouldn't be hungry when ordering. Because the last 3 times the delivery took around 2 hours. It's a shame that the meals arrived cold. Having your own microwave must help. Service: Reachability by telephone is poor. Called 20 times because of the severe delay in delivery. Only on the 20th call did someone answer the phone. No accommodation was offered for the long delay. Certainly would have been appropriate. I order there solely because of the delicious meals. Because of my frustration, I'll look elsewhere from now on and won't order there again for the time being. That's too bad :-(

Super tasty food, very friendly staff, we will definitely come here more often

While the food looks good; it's far from good, in terms of the authenticity of the taste. You can still taste the flavor, but regarding spices, saying it's bad would be an understatement. We ordered a chicken biryani, chicken curry, vegetable samosas, naan and gulab jamun. The Biryani was one of the worst I've ever tried, not exactly the authentic flavor and also not spicy at all. The Chicken curry, flavor wise was okay, but not spicy. The naans were okay, samosas were also acceptable. Gulab jamun while not perfect were good. In short, while it's enjoyable for people that haven't tried the actual Indian food, I would not recommend it to people that are looking for a 'taste of home'.

We had a good experience having tomato rice even though we ordered biryani. Also we had good experience with the spiciness of the chicken curry. Finally we had a really great experience spending the whole night with an upset stomach.

One of the best Indian restaurant I have been to in Aachen! I go there frequently as they have well-balanced, richly flavoured curries. When I ask for it to be made extra spicy, they actually provide a properly prepared spicy curry rather than just sprinkling chilli powder on top :) I also had buffet there once and immediately felt the quality of food decrease. Therefore, I would not recommend to opt for buffet but instead get individual curries. The restaurant is spacious and pleasant, especially in the summer - since its possible to sit outside and enjoy the food. Overall, the experience is great!

A very disappointing experience with impolite staffs, and no card payment possibility. They get money for packing the rest!!! Very awful, first and last time to try this. I was so embarrased in front of my family who i invited for the 1st time to Maharaja restaurant. Others should know this place is not a good place to try indiab food.

Disappointing Experience at Indian Restaurant - Never Again! We recently dined at this Indian restaurant and were utterly dissatisfied with our experience. To begin with, the server's attitude was shockingly rude, bordering on aggressive, which made us feel extremely unwelcome. The incompetence further manifested when they mixed up our order and brought extra, unordered dishes, adding confusion to our table. Moreover, our drinks, which were part of our initial order, were completely forgotten. We had to wait an excessively long time for our food, which dampened our dining experience significantly. Adding to our frustration, they refused to accept our card payment, even though we witnessed the previous customer paying with theirs. To our dismay, we observed an Indian family, who arrived after us, receiving their service much quicker. This apparent preferential treatment left us feeling discriminated against. Given these multiple disappointments, we have decided that this was our last visit to this restaurant. The disorganized and disrespectful service, especially from the female server, has led us to advise others to avoid this restaurant .

We went there for dinner during the week to celebrate a friend's birthday. The service was very fast and the food tasted good, but it was lukewarm at best. There was also no lid on the rice, so that it was completely cold by the time we went for seconds.

Der Lieferdienst von diesem Restaurant fällt mir regelmäßig negativ auf durch das Brechen von zahlreichen Verkehrsregeln, darunter auch hohe Geschwindigkeit und Rücksichtslosigkeit gegenüber anderen Verkehrsteilnehmenden.

Stopping for a morning coffee while exploring this fascinating city, we chose Nobis, and wow, what a superb collection of cakes, pastries, tartes and gateaux. The coffee and service were excellent, but the real star is the variety of cakes, sandwiches and other delicacies to be eaten in or taken away; the cafe was clearly popular with locals and was continually busy with customers.

Food was ok, but nothing special and I had much better Indian food. However, the service was excellent and very friendly, the kids liked it and we definitely did not leave hungry! :)

We ordered thali for lunch , I loved it but my boyfriend did not like it a lot and service was too slow.

Sehr leckeres Essen aber echt wenig für das Geld. Das Personal ist auch eher unmotiviert und wirkt beim bezahlen eher genervt, es fühlte sich auch keiner zuständig. Tisch war auch teils dreckig und klebrig.

Tolles Cafe mit Sitzgelegenheiten vor dem Dom oder auf der Dachterrasse. Nebenan kann man noch traditionelle Leckereien und Printen kaufen.

Das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker und das mittags menü sehr günstig. Dazu ist das Personal freundlich und sehr schnell. Kommen definitiv wieder!

The restaurant is definitely under-staffed with only a couple of waiters serving the food to all the tables. Expect extremely long waiting hours before your food gets served. The food is okay in taste. But the extremely long waiting time no doubt an off-putter. The restaurant is incapable of operating efficiently even during around 70% occupancy. A definite ‘NO’ especially during weekends and holidays!

We reserved for 10 people but did reach a bit late and we were trying to communicate with the worker but he did not respond properly and was rude and literally asked 12 of us to get out. Workers behaviour does matter.

We just booked today a table for 10 people, but even then we couldn't get the table. This was very unexpected and the behavior wasn't polite.

Baddest customer reception - We booked a table for 15 member - First thing when we arrived here we found we have no place to sit - When asked about the situation they did not even respond with anything but just saying 'wait' - He started acting rude and was just too blunt that we don't need you as customer - I say this is very bad behaviour as if they are the only restaurant and don't care about what customers want

We have pre booked for 15 people, and when arrived, the person in bar insulted us and asked to get out in front of the face. he told "geh alles raus", and even trying to speak politely, shouted on us Such a worst behaviour for pre booking. Don't even go there prebooking.
