Niko Niko Ramen(Ex-Hako Ramen am Boxi) in Berlin

I love the vegan tantan with edamame as a starter with the yuzu tea!!! Incredibly delicious!! If I could, I would go here a lot more often. I only have one negative point to give because it can get full quickly, which can quickly overwhelm people like me :( That's why I personally grab as many corner seats as I can and put my loops in my ears and then it's good to go! The people who work there are all super friendly and if you dare to sit at the bar you can watch them cook The portions are great and worth the price for my taste! Finally, I have to say that the price range I gave is for less food than we sometimes order (for 4 people with desserts and sometimes 2x ramen and several drinks and extra stuff it was around €175) and I have never been to any other ramen Restaurant was and cannot be compared.

My Favourite Ramen in this city so far.. Depending on your taste of corse. I love the stong creamy flavoured broth of the original Tonkotsu.

A very crowded little place, but to make the waiting outside a bit more pleasant, get yourself some mulled wine! The ambience inside feels very authentic, especially if you sit at the bar. The food was amazing, I especially enjoyed pak choi and mochi, not even talking about ramen (it was delicious). If you are in the area, this is an absolute must

Nice experience, we got a seat at the noodle bar and was served directly by ramen chef. Space felt a bit tight, ramen was quite authentic (no need to go to Dusseldorf anymore :)), price is a bit on the higher side.

A cozy atmosphere, fast service, decent food, and fair prices.

I honestly expected it to be better. I was kinda disappointed of the ramen. Noodles were hard, broth was flavorless, not many toppings for the price either. Additionally the atmosphere in the restaurant was strange. Probably wouldn’t go again.

The Tonkotsu Ramen here is one of the best I’ve had! The broth is incredibly creamy and flavorful, and the noodles have that perfect bite. The Gyoza, too, are crispy and juicy – I’ll be back soon.

The Shio Ramen was a pleasant, light choice, while the Tantan Ramen packed a spicy punch. The ribs were so flavorful and tender. I can’t wait to try more items!

This spot is amazing! I had the Vegan Ramen, which was incredibly hearty and flavorful. The Shio Ramen and ribs were equally delightful, and the Gyoza were crispy and delicious.

The best ribs I've ever eaten are here! They are perfectly marinated and super tender. The miso ramen and tantan ramen were also fantastic - I'll be back soon!

Loved it. The noodles had a great texture. As for toppings for the vegan Ramen it was a little poor. One Bok Choi leaf and some mushrooms and soy mince. The meat version is pretty much the same but with an egg and minced pork. Vegan Mochi ice cream was delicious! We also had edamame and a drink each. Together we both paid about 40€

I had the Gyoza and Miso soup with pork. It was delicious!

Niko Niko is the place I go when I need to feed my soul their vegan black tantan. Nothing beats it. It's the perfect thickness, perfect texture, perfect spiciness, and it's delicious every single time. Every single time! My soul says thank you and we'll be back soon.

Such a great ramen, the taste and atmosphere made me feel like I was back in Japan. Can’t wait to come back. We had the miso and shio chicken ramens, and several mochi flavours - all delicious.

I visited this ramen shop yesterday. The ramen are packaged and not homemade. Nearly 17 € for a bowl of tonkotsu ramen is really expensive.

A must if you go to Berlin and are looking for ramen. One of the better places I've been to with value for its portion. The broth is delicious, I tried both shoyu and miso ramen and both were great. Noodles taste so good as well, love the freshness of the vegetables. Staff was accommodating to get us a table. Even though it's a small seating arrangement it is well worth it. Went twice in my trip!

Very authentic restaurant. The ramen is simply delicious! Highly recommended. When we arrived the store was very busy but don't let that put you off. We got a number and after about 15 minutes we had a table :) The service was also very nice.

Amazing Tonkutsu! The best I have had in Berlin yet! The gyokai variant was also very nice! Don't forget to add the shitake and the chilli paste to your Ramen order!

If you're in the mood for something special, try the Tantan Ramen! For me the best in Berlin. The broth is spicy but not overpowering, and the noodles have just the right consistency. The aubergines are also a highlight – perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender.

five stars for traditional tonkotsu ramen

Hands down one of the best ramen spots in town! The Tonkotsu Ramen is so rich and creamy, and the chashu pork practically melts in your mouth. Their Gyoza is crispy on the outside and juicy inside - a perfect starter! Definitely coming back for more.

Visitor to Hako/ Niko Niko Ramen for years! The Shio Ramen has such a fine, clear broth and is simply seasoned perfectly. The miso ramen is also fantastic – very hearty and flavorful. The gyoza are crispy and delicious. Absolute recommendation!

The vegan ramen here is outstanding! It's so rare to find a good, authentic tonkotsu-style ramen, but they absolutely nailed it. The broth is rich and full of flavor, with none of the usual missing elements you'd expect from a vegan version. And those ribs? Incredibly tender and perfectly marinated. I'm a big fan of this place!

Very good and authentic! I had Shoyu Ramen and my companion had Vegan Shoyu and both were excellent, the gyoza were also great. All in all, really delicious, beautiful and very cozy! Recommended!!!

For me as a Japanese woman the best ramen place in Berlin! Absolute favorite. Unlike in most shops, the toppings are not too overpowering, the soups are rich and the individual ingredients are made with love, so that you feel pleasantly satisfied at the end. The food here is authentic, also because most of the employees actually come from Japan. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Niko Niko is always a great experience. Keep it up and thank you for this wonderful place!

Overrated. We had gyozas and kimchi as starters, which was ok. But the ramen was very disappointing. In one case, the vegetables promised on the menu consisted only of limp mushrooms and a leaf of seaweed, in the other case, 1 leaf of pakchoy and a few tasteless bamboo snippets, hardly anything more. Otherwise just very salty broths (the miso one was very sweet, the shrimp one was too salty and tasteless) and a lot of spaghetti and three slices of rather bland chicken. Disappointing. Given that the ambience is loud and lively (cool jazz, a bit tiring given the stress level), the trip isn't worth it. A plus: lots of staff, nice and attentive. Not a long wait when we visited.

I had never eaten ramen soup as thick as I did there. Unfortunately, I later had quite a bit of gastrointestinal problems... well. The price is also quite expensive for what you have on your plate.

Unfortunately I didn't like the Ramen and it didn't feel authentic to me. First of all, I've been fortunate enough to taste Ramem in many cities including the real deal in Japan. I felt the ramen lacked taste, substance and proper ingredients. It's also a bit pricy for what it is, a small portion of bland and unappetising ramen. The noodles didn't feel the right texture, size and most of all, didn't taste great.

Just finished the miso ramen and it was honestly a pretty disappointing ramen. The broth was tasteless and the Meat wasn’t as tender as it could be. No umami or feel of passion in the dish. The quality in Denmark where we usually eat our ramen are leagues above this experience

Super. At Niko Niko I felt reminded of my time in Japan. This ramen shop could just as easily be located on a nice side street in Osaka. The ramen is delicious, the staff is friendly, the waiting times are moderate and the selection is good. Gladly again.

Small restaurant with good ramen. Honestly, there are much better ramen shops in the city. There were hardly any side dishes in the ramen soup. I thought that was a shame. There aren't many inside or outside places. Better reserve 🩷

A must in the rather crowded Berlin ‘s gastronomy jungle. Japanese ambient, back in the 90’s, vibrating and intimate atmosphere at the same time. Very friendly service and great noodles. I can only recommend.

Yummy Ramen! The waitress with short red hair is fantastic, really prepared for every language!

The ambience is really great. You immediately feel like you are in Japan and the open kitchen is an eye-catcher. Everything is freshly prepared and the food came quickly. The taste is simply great and plentiful. In my opinion, the prices are ok, although €3 for additional meat is a bit steep for the portion size you get. The service is friendly, if a bit unstructured. But we'd love to come back!

The ramen was not that good comparing to many other places in Berlin. The taste was bland with not much spices so we needed to order chilli oil to make it better. I was expecting much more from a place that used to be connected to Hako Ramen

I ordered the Tonkotsu Gyokai and I really liked it. Nevertheless, I consider the ramens very overpriced for the amount of food you get. For instance, we ordered another ramen that came only with one leaf of pak choi… I mean, I’m paying 17 euros… Give me half of a pak choi.

Food perfect! But service from everyone at reception was a disaster! We arrived 8 minutes earlier than opening times... the employee turned us away in a very rude manner... didn't even tell us if we could wait...

It was very tasty, the broth was spicy and complex at the same time. The noodles were al dente and the chasiu fit perfectly. I can only recommend it.

All in all, a solid ramen place. We ate there twice and it was good. The service was attentive and knew how to deal with guests. The atmosphere is rustic and the seating is a bit uncomfortable.

I didn't like it. Nice service but neither me nor my friends liked the food. Additionally, the dorayaki were dry and appeared to be a frozen product.

I chose this restaurant not by chance. My daughter worked here for almost a year. Very nice people work here. I liked the kitchen. The portions are really generous! Homemade is delicious, there are also non-spicy dishes, this is important for me. I have a sensitive stomach, I thought about eating mochi with lemonade, but I couldn't resist, I ordered Tonkotsu Traditional and lemonade. The stomach felt good! Good ventilation. I will visit!

Pedí ayer dos ramenes para mi pareja y para mí. No abuso cuando digo que nunca como ramenes malos. Teníamos tres cucharas y no podíamos comer más. Gran decepción. No sabe nada excepto sal, los ramenes son extremadamente delgados que no sabes nada. Es una pena pedir 16 € por eso, incluso los ramenes en caja en rewe o edeka son más sabrosos. Quería venir con un grupo de amigos la próxima vez a este restaurante, pero nunca voy a poner un pie allí y no voy a perder ninguna ocasión para decir que es el peor ramen que he tenido en Berlín. Es una pena.

I ordered yesterday for my partner and myself two ramens. I don't abuse when i say i never eat some bad ramens. We had three spoons and couldnt eat anymore. Big disapointement. It taste nothing except salt, the ramens are extremely thin that you taste nothing. Its a shame to ask 16€ for that, even the ramens in box at rewe or edeka are more tasty. I wanted to come with a group of friends next time at this restaurant but i will never put a feet there and i wont miss any occasion to spead the word that it's the worst ramen ever i had in Berlin. Its a shame.

Absolute recommendation! The service was friendly, the ramen was very tasty and the ambience was perfect. We sat directly at the counter and were able to watch how the chefs prepared the dishes with passion. The Kirin Ichiban beer is also highly recommended! We'll definitely be back

Ramen like in Japan! Good selection of ramen, also cold - very tasty in summer when it's hot, e.g. Shoyu Ramen with chicken. There is also a vegetarian version. Yuzu spritzer highly recommended. There is also Yuzu Radler. Small restaurant, a few tables in front of the door. You can also sit directly at the counter and watch the food being prepared. Very nice and friendly staff. Amazing food and drinks! They have amazing cold tea, normal lemonade and yuzu lemonade! All home made. The Tsukemen were very umami and had a great dashi flavor to them. The Cold Yuzu Ramen they had were really refreshing and had a especially great subtle yuzu aftertaste! The Gyouza and Ribs were a perfect starter together! The waiter we had was very nice and helped with deciding on what to eat. Without him I wouldnt have tried the crazy good cold yuzu ramen. I would trust this waiter with my life. One of the cutest waiters ive ever had ✨👌 The matcha Ice cream is one of the good matcha ice cream and a perfect addition at the end! I 100% will come here if I visit again! Kartenzahlung möglich!
