The ramen, gyoza and mochi were very tasty, everything’s very authentic here and everyone was so friendly.

Wonderful cosy and local food atmosphere. Delicious Tonkotsu Traditionell. I can only recommend more to go there to try it out.

We went to Niko Niko Ramen in Berlin and were told the wait would be about 20 minutes for a table of four — in the end, it was closer to 40 minutes. We ordered four Shoyu Ramen with chicken, extra Naruto topping and egg, plus four homemade Yuzu lemonades. The staff was super friendly and quick — even though the place was packed, our drinks and food came out fast. The ramen tasted fresh and authentic, and the lemonade was amazing. The only small downside: the chicken was a bit bland. Overall, a great experience — warm atmosphere, nice people, good food. Not quite “top-tier ramen,” but definitely worth a visit! 🍜✨

Tasted okay, but nothing special. I got food poisoning, which I honestly didn't expect at that price.

Decent place gone bad! I have been here before, the food used to be good, and hence I was extremely disappointed today. We ordered one plate of Edamame to share and 2 different types of Ramen. Edamame were super old and there was a packaging smell in them, so we returned them (and still got charged for them), on top of that Ramen, though edible I would consider below average. Was a semi regular customer, wont be visiting again.

Yesterday me and my girlfriend went there, for me it was the first time going there but not for her. We ordered first the gyoza which were good, but going into the main dish’s she ordered the tantan ramen and I got the shoyu ramen. Starting with the tantan, my girlfriend couldn’t eat even more than a half of it, she mentioned it’s not her first time eating this dish and was completely outer and basically NOT EATABLE. We wanted to be honest, and we told the waiter about the issue and the restaurants cook came to talk with us. We told her, the dish tastes completely different and it’s not the same as it was, the broth was too dense and tasted as if it was on a burned Smokey oven. She told us, “we didn’t get any complaints about the tantan dish, would you mind if I have try?” We agreed, right after she shakes her head and says “I don’t see anything wrong, it doesn’t taste bad.” Now I think for a place who respects its self and its customers must have their customers at the front! The customers are your business. You see someone eating at your restaurant and she doesn’t even finish half of the dish, you got to be respectful to the person who came to eat at your place, and at the end you took it personally and you gracefully blamed her that she doesn’t like it. We didn’t have much to say after that, we left and paid a shameful price with a funny 10% discount (44€~40€) Won’t come back again.

Just have a Tantan ! Ich liebe Tantan. Amazing place. I come ones a week now.

Always a very tasty and authentic experience. Staff is friendly and can accomodate people in different languages (German, English, Japanese). You can pay via cash or card. If you come here during prime-time (18:00-21:00), expect a small queue time of around 20-30 minutes. Also the place can get quite stuffy when full.

Please look the difference between what I ordered and what I was delivered on the photos. I ordered online. It was the worst Ramen experiecne of my life. The chicken has nothing to do with a real Ramen chicken. The mushrooms are very cheap one you can have in a cheap chinese restaurant. Nothing like the photo. I didn't have seaweed at all. The broth was way too salty. Overall, the dish tasted really bad, I couldn't even finish.

Their cold ramen on a hot summer day perfectly cools you down ⭐️ It was a delight to eat the Shoyu Ramen, you have to try it! And their gyoza as a starter as well.

I visited Niko Niko Ramen and was truly impressed. Everything was simply delicious, but I especially loved the traditional tonkotsu ramen 🍜— it had such a rich, deep, salty flavor. I’d easily give the ramen 10 out of 10. The Kirin beer on tap was also excellent. 🤤 Overall, it was a pleasure to be in a small, local, authentic ramen restaurant. Highly recommended!

Disclaimer: I’m evaluating the ramen only. I’m not taking into account the service, atmosphere, waiting time, noise level, or anything else. I care solely about the ramen. I also never give 5 stars as I keep it for the ideal place. Nevertheless, the atmosphere here reminded me more than any other place of a traditional local ramen shop in Japan. I ordered the tonkotsu gyokai. Hearty and moderately rich, but a bit too salty for my taste. The portion was just right, though I would have preferred a whole ajitama instead of just a half.

Hako Ramen offers plenty of space inside. The service is friendly, and the food is delivered quickly. The appetizers are large portions. The ramen itself is a normal and adequate size. The ramen is based on pork and chicken tonkotsu. Personally, I found it lacking in depth, but the flavor was comparable to its Japanese counterparts. The broth, however, becomes very thick over time, which isn't for everyone. For vegans, there is also an option with vegan meat and a vegan dashi based on seaweed and shiitake mushrooms.

The most terrible and tasteless ramen in my life. We asked what the difference was between a large Tonkotsu portion on sale and a medium portion, they promised that everything was twice as much. Only twice as much!!! In the end, they only piled up some pasta, one slice of egg, two pieces of pork, disgusting terrible broth with chunks of seasoning. We couldn't eat this abomination, only the pasta was more or less edible. Simply disgusting for 18 euros for a portion of disgusting soup. When you explain to the waitresses that this is not Tonkotsu, they are rude. But it really tasted like Buldak noodles, but only 100 times worse When we were planning to leave, they brought us some tasteless liquid, like a bonus to the soup - broth (diluted water with oil)

It’s ok , long waiting time, too expensive for a normal soup with 2 small pieces of meat and some veggies.

Got the tonkotsu miso with matcha eis. Could have used a bit more chashu ;) but the ice cream is nice

So far the best ramen in Berlin. I went to this place a couple of times and it never disappoints. The tanta chicken is amazing. My husband had the black tanta and it was exquisite. The dumplings is always a wonderful choice for entree. Just go and try it out!

Absolutely standard ramen. Nothing special. But you'll pay three times the price of what you'd pay in Japan.

Definitely recommend this place! Tantan & black tantan ramen were both incredibly tasty, thick and creamy. Kimchi was very good. Yuzu radler and double cultured beers were surprisingly tasty and creamy even though I usually don’t like any additions to beer.

My visit to Niko Niko Ramen in Berlin was very enjoyable. The ambiance is pleasant and focused on the food. The Tonkotsu Tantan Ramen proved to be an excellent choice. The rich and creamy Tonkotsu broth blended beautifully with the spicy Tantan flavor. The noodles had a good texture, and the flavorful ground beef was of high quality—remarkable, considering everything is prepared in-house. The service was attentive and courteous. At around €20 per person, the price-performance ratio is absolutely excellent, especially considering the fresh, homemade ingredients.

Best ramen in Berlin (if not Germany!) Incredibly delicious broths and generous portions. The service is very attentive and caters to any special requests. We love going here because they have a great and large selection of ramen, etc. The food is also super fast! It can get very noisy during peak times, but that's not the shop's fault. Niko Niko is definitely a very authentic, friendly shop that's worth a visit!

Best vegan ramen I've ever had. Worldwide. It's not nice in the restaurant itself because it smells extremely like animal broth from cooking. (Unfortunately it's not a vegan restaurant) But it's always nice outside on Boxhagener Straße. Especially the tantan black (sesame) ramen with spicy chopped is a dream!!!

Sadly this place became a tourist spot. The Ramen tastes great but the portions are tiny and unfortunately the amount of toppings are super contained. Considering the crazy high prices its not worth eating here because you will spend 30 euros and still get a Kebab around the corner. Highly disappointed of the rip off practices. Also staff isnt happy when paying by card and begs for a tip.

The food was excellent, the ramen was really good. I also really enjoyed the kimchi. And don’t forget to enjoy some mochi afterwards. The service was very friendly.

It's tasty but like charging 4,50€ for 1 singular mochi, 2,50€ for a scoop of ice cream and 3,50€ for a coke zero is outrageous. I was aware of the portion size of the coke, but the mochi especially I had no idea would come in store size. One 6 pack of mochis in most asia stores costs 3,50€, and I was charged 4,50€ for a single one! I thought it was gonna be a bigger one but nope. Sorry but that's unacceptable. The prices are absurd.

Update a year later, we were here again and had lots of ramen in many cities. These are the best for us. Great service. The ramen is delicious. The service was very friendly, although you have to wait a bit.

five stars for traditional tonkotsu ramen

We place 80-90% of our Wolt orders here. I've tried almost all the ramen in Berlin (really every one you can find at Wolt or maps). There are others that are delicious too. I don't actually eat pork. And I don't know if you're just putting in a lot of glutamate. But the tantan got me hooked, every time we come back from a trip we order the shoyu and tantan on the way home 😄 At some point I'll fly to Japan and try it out 😍

Nothing better in winter than getting a ramen in NikoNiko! Veeeery tasty. My only complain would be the price, it is a bit pricy. Also sometimes it is a bit packed.

It's just such a trendy place, overpriced and overrated. There's half an egg in the 15-17 euro ramen and the chashu is cut razor-thin. Tantan was a complete disaster, it was more of a ginger soup, tonkotsu and ribs weren't good either.

Our goal today was another place, but since they had a power outage there, we looked for another ramen place in the area. And we got it right. The place is quite cramped and constantly overloaded with people, but with your own stool you can sit down comfortably. The food gets to the table quickly. It's not cheap, but very tasty. Very nice staff, so much so that the lady ran after us to give the children a packet of jelly beans. 😊 I ordered tonkotsu tantan today. A very rich, fatty broth, if you like the sesame note like me, it's a hit! Delicious pasta! Plus ginger tea, but in such a tiny cup that I regretted not bringing lemonade 😉 Ah! Strawberry mochi is super good! 🍓♥️ Others also liked it. You can eat well here 🍜🙌

Very, very tasty noodles, you can choose the broth yourself depending on the strength, unfortunately mine was a bit weak, but next time I will order it stronger. The atmosphere is really nice and looks authentic, but not too kitschy either.

We ordered for the office today and the Ramen was actually the worst I ever had. The feel in my mouth and my throat after lunch was awful for hours. Cannot recommend.

The place is very welcoming and the service perfect. Unfortunately the dish did not live up to the reviews on this restaurant. The Black tantan was served with few toppings.

After testing many ramen places in Berlin for their veggie/vegan options, this one is my favorite! The black sesame version is the best.

I love the vegan tantan with edamame as a starter with the yuzu tea!!! Incredibly delicious!! If I could, I would go here a lot more often. I only have one negative point to give because it can get full quickly, which can quickly overwhelm people like me :( That's why I personally grab as many corner seats as I can and put my loops in my ears and then it's good to go! The people who work there are all super friendly and if you dare to sit at the bar you can watch them cook The portions are great and worth the price for my taste! Finally, I have to say that the price range I gave is for less food than we sometimes order (for 4 people with desserts and sometimes 2x ramen and several drinks and extra stuff it was around €175) and I have never been to any other ramen Restaurant was and cannot be compared.

My Favourite Ramen in this city so far.. Depending on your taste of corse. I love the stong creamy flavoured broth of the original Tonkotsu.

A very crowded little place, but to make the waiting outside a bit more pleasant, get yourself some mulled wine! The ambience inside feels very authentic, especially if you sit at the bar. The food was amazing, I especially enjoyed pak choi and mochi, not even talking about ramen (it was delicious). If you are in the area, this is an absolute must

Nice experience, we got a seat at the noodle bar and was served directly by ramen chef. Space felt a bit tight, ramen was quite authentic (no need to go to Dusseldorf anymore :)), price is a bit on the higher side.

A cozy atmosphere, fast service, decent food, and fair prices.

I honestly expected it to be better. I was kinda disappointed of the ramen. Noodles were hard, broth was flavorless, not many toppings for the price either. Additionally the atmosphere in the restaurant was strange. Probably wouldn’t go again.

The best ribs I've ever eaten are here! They are perfectly marinated and super tender. The miso ramen and tantan ramen were also fantastic - I'll be back soon!

The Tonkotsu Ramen here is one of the best I’ve had! The broth is incredibly creamy and flavorful, and the noodles have that perfect bite. The Gyoza, too, are crispy and juicy – I’ll be back soon.

The Shio Ramen was a pleasant, light choice, while the Tantan Ramen packed a spicy punch. The ribs were so flavorful and tender. I can’t wait to try more items!

This spot is amazing! I had the Vegan Ramen, which was incredibly hearty and flavorful. The Shio Ramen and ribs were equally delightful, and the Gyoza were crispy and delicious.

Loved it. The noodles had a great texture. As for toppings for the vegan Ramen it was a little poor. One Bok Choi leaf and some mushrooms and soy mince. The meat version is pretty much the same but with an egg and minced pork. Vegan Mochi ice cream was delicious! We also had edamame and a drink each. Together we both paid about 40€

I had the Gyoza and Miso soup with pork. It was delicious!

Niko Niko is the place I go when I need to feed my soul their vegan black tantan. Nothing beats it. It's the perfect thickness, perfect texture, perfect spiciness, and it's delicious every single time. Every single time! My soul says thank you and we'll be back soon.

I visited this ramen shop yesterday. The ramen are packaged and not homemade. Nearly 17 € for a bowl of tonkotsu ramen is really expensive.

Such a great ramen, the taste and atmosphere made me feel like I was back in Japan. Can’t wait to come back. We had the miso and shio chicken ramens, and several mochi flavours - all delicious.

A must if you go to Berlin and are looking for ramen. One of the better places I've been to with value for its portion. The broth is delicious, I tried both shoyu and miso ramen and both were great. Noodles taste so good as well, love the freshness of the vegetables. Staff was accommodating to get us a table. Even though it's a small seating arrangement it is well worth it. Went twice in my trip!
