Ramen is my favorite dish. Ever since I visited Japan, I still enjoy eating ramen in Germany, but it’s not easy to find good, authentic ones. Cocolo Ramen is a great exception. I had the Tantan Ramen and it was truly delicious. I also really liked the atmosphere — you can sit right by the kitchen, just like in Japan, and watch the chefs cook. There’s often even Japanese staff. A wonderful place for authentic ramen!”

My favorite ramen spot around! The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the broth is rich and flavorful. We can definitely recommend this place – not only for the delicious food but also for the nice interior and friendly staff!

I loved this place a lot - ramen is great, maybe a bit too salty from time to time BUT When come to the restaurant and get the food in plastic tableware I feel cheated! Specially in the place that still sells its ceramics! The waited said it’s the management who decided to use plastics instead of ceramics cause ceramics breaks too often! Yeah, maybe it’s true, but you sell hundreds of ramen per day for 15 euros, I’m sure it’s enough to cover the broken plates! I never eat from plastic and looks like I’ll never come again to your place

Fast service, friendly service.

I’ve been in Japan a couple of times and I can say that Cocolo’s ramen is one the best ramen I’ve ever had in my life! Definitely a must try in Berlin

we went into cocolo spontaneously for lunch. i’d been to cocolo in the past and hadn’t been blown away by their ramen. so. this time i went for the vegan rice bowl lunch option which was deliciously packed with nutritious fermented foods, sprouts, the seasoning was delicious on the spinach and carrots in particular 😋 i tried my partner’s ramen broth and the sentiment remains the same. generally: the broth can be more flavourful (not salty) and served hotter (in temperature), instead of lukewarm. curious where they’ll go with the rice bowls 👀

Very rich ramen and nice atmosphere.

During the special offer week in Berlin, I had the Japanese curry for €15 with a honey tea (with ginger and lemon) for €4. Both were delicious, the service was friendly, and the seating at the bar, right in front of the chefs, was entertaining. The place was quite packed at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Highly recommended.

Excellent ramen noudle soup! Tonkotsu soup could be slightly thicker, but thats probably only my style. Pork belly and other stuff was increadible. Open kitchen is Japan style, love it!

We expected more; it had more of a cafeteria feel, and the food didn't seem particularly fresh. The waitress also took longer to bring the drinks to the table than the appetizer. Irritating.

Very good ramen and appetizers. Soups are very flavorful and very well prepared. Appetizers and drinks are decent. We always enjoy coming back. Long wait times are possible. Kid-friendly, but not easy in the evenings due to the noise.

Of course, the changed menu was a blow to the heart. The lack of sesame sauce also hurt. The ramen is still very good, though. The atmosphere is relaxed; if you can, sit outside.

Better than Buya Ramen. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are very relaxed, and the service is definitely better than typical Berlin service.

Unfortunately, the food is only mediocre. The pasta, for example, is more reminiscent of Italian spaghetti than Japanese noodles.

I've tried many ramen restaurants, but this one has been my favorite for years. Tonkotsu Ramen is a dream every time, without fail!

I tried the Tonkotsu ramen here and found it really good (compared to ramen in Düsseldorf and Japan). The price for a bottle of water was a bit too much for me personally, considering you can get it at a gas station for less than half the price here. But whatever.

The familiar flavor is scary, consistently consistent. Berlin's top 3 ramen. Tonkotsu ramen for 15.50 euros. This was my first time at this place, and it was spacious and comfortable. The portions were just right. The staff were friendly, and they accepted credit cards.

One of the legendary ramen spot in Berlin, as often happens, is now dropping the overall quality of food unfortunately. Atmosfere stays relaxed and staff is the best, kind, professional, fast like no others in the city.

Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be... the last visit was incredibly disappointing when it came to ramen. The broth was almost clear and tasted like it had been seasoned, and the noodles were simply like oily spaghetti. Too bad, it's now off our list of favorite restaurants that I would recommend. There are enough other places for ramen these days that you can find in YouTube videos. We'll find a new place to eat ramen.

Interesting experience, very nice atmosphere inside, all windows were open, so a lot of fresh air came in. They also have an open green terrace. The worker greeted me at the entrance but didn’t notice me for 10-15 minutes straight after that :( So I couldn’t order for quite a long time, that was unpleasant. If you check the terrace client all the time, please don’t forget about the ones you actually have inside the building 😅 Ordered Tonkotsu ramen (the last possible option on menu) because of its creamy broth. The taste was truly very pleasant, pork belly was kinda too fat for me, but what else could I expect from it haha? 17€ with 10% tips for my waitress for 1 ramen If you are searching for truly Japanese experience and real Japanese cooks and team - this is your choice! 4🌟/5

Solid ramen. Very good flavor. The tonkotsu broth was much too thin for my liking, but that's certainly a matter of personal preference. We also really liked the shrimp wontons.

good food :), really nice vibe. to improve: maybe the veggie options should be cheaper since they are the only options there, and it’s basically just tofu and veggies (plus, adding nori could be nice) // my friend had chicken ramen, and it could be more flavourful. but overall really good.

THE place for ramen in Kreuzberg

We actually ate here twice during our vacation because we really enjoyed it. I had wonton and miso, both delicious and something different for us. The servers were very friendly. The surroundings were very nice. Our dog was given water immediately without being asked. Card payments are accepted.

The ramen was hard, and the wonton tasted the worst I've ever had in Berlin. The waitress couldn't say hello or goodbye... that was the last time I was here.

The ramen was okay, but nothing special—definitely not the most impressive I've ever had. The open kitchen looks exciting, but the smell is so intense that you leave the restaurant feeling like you've cooked it yourself. The service, however, was quick and friendly—that was a plus.

One of the Best places to find YUMMIEST Ramen in Berlin.

I ordered Tantan Ramen, which was spicy and delicious, but, instead of actual ramen, there was spaghetti in the food. Ramen is lighter and smoother and would have been much better in this dish.

Haven't been there for a while and used to go to Cocolo quite often. Unfortunately we were a little shocked this time. As a starter we had the dumplings and kakuni. There was far too little broth in the dumplings, so they were all carelessly stuck in the bowl like a single lump. The kakuni was a very lean piece that was so dry that you could hardly eat it and the other piece was pure fat, which wasn't particularly edible either. (Wrongly carved?) The tonkotsu was also far too fatty and had far too little counterplay from ginger and co. those who simply need the hearty dish and always had it. I also had the feeling that the general quality was completely different and less good this time. We both felt sick afterwards. The service was, as before, great. Very friendly, fast and relaxed. But I think it will take me a while to “digest” the visit. Hope it just wasn't a good day in the kitchen

Unfortunately, the sesame mills have been abolished and people now eat with plastic spoons instead of a porcelain spoon. Children's birthday feeling instead of value

Super tasty tonkotsu ramen and a really good, hearty pork belly appetizer – Kakuni! I can only recommend it – definitely check it out, it’s a great place! ;)

This is a very good ramen restaurant. Unfortunately I can't give it more than two stars. The host welcomes us at 10:10 p.m., warns us that once seated there are no more starters and tamago. Payment before receiving our dishes. At 11:01 p.m., mid-meal, we were offered take-away. A disappointment and a lack of good manners, I do not recommend this establishment.

Pretty disappointing experience overall. We tried a variety of dishes hoping for at least one hit, but nothing really delivered. The tantanmen had a strange, off-putting flavor that didn’t resemble the usual spicy-sesame goodness. The karaage chicken was a letdown too—fatty and paired with an overly salty sauce. Even the pickled vegetables were way too salty to enjoy. The tonkotsu ramen was the most passable of the bunch, but still pretty bland. None of the soup bases had that deep, rich, umami flavor that makes ramen comforting and delicious—it all tasted kind of watered down and flat. To top it off, the waiter seemed visibly annoyed when we asked to pay, which made the already mediocre experience feel even worse. Wouldn’t go back.

Very good food, service uninterested and slow

We were there right at lunchtime, so we didn't have to wait. Great atmosphere and the store is very clean. You can watch the noodles being made or simply enjoy your delicious ramen.

Overall good food, especially the chicken karagee. They don't take reservations but you get seated pretty quickly. Service adequate but not very attentive. Average prices. Advised.

I miss Japanese ramen so badly!! But this one made my heart happy :) really good ramen, the noodles are well cooked and thick enough, so enjoyed the texture. I tried the shoyu ramen and loved the well balanced saltiness and flavour. You can chat and drink beer with friends enjoying the nice dishes!

I love ramen and had heard a lot of good things about the shop and had high hopes for it. I have to say that the staff and the atmosphere are really great. Five stars plus for this!!! Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my main course. I chose the Tonkotsu Ramen because I was craving something hearty. That was it too. But I don't know if I'll express myself correctly now. So you really understand what I mean. The pork tasted and smelled unpleasantly like pork. Of course, pork should also taste like it, without question. But here it was a bit too blatant. The meat wasn't spoiled or anything. But it just gave off this strong unpleasant pork aroma. I just think that the choice of meat or producer is not ideal. But that's just my opinion or my taste. However, the starters were all really great!!!

I'd love to come back. Was very tasty. With our own pasta production, which is really cool.

This used to be once so good....there are great places to eat Ramen in Berlin...this isn't one of them anymore...the wooden seats are so uncomfortable ... Just an unnecessary experience all together

The food was good, the service was very nice and the location was ok on the inside. Nothing new or fancy, but you feel comfortable. The smell that day was a bit unpleasant.

Food is absolutely delicious! Very good ramen in Berlin! I had the Tonkotsu ramen and Karage as an appetizer. They were both delicious! The Karage is crunchy and well served, which is fair for its price. The ramen was very tasty. The broth is good condimented and the noodles, although probably not self made, are very good. I was not the biggest fan of the ginger added to the ramen though. My friend had the miso ramen and was fascinated from it. Atmosphere is quite nice. I loved the decoration to make it feel very japanese. Beware that you’ll be sitting next to other people and the seats are not the most comfortable ones. Service is fine, from time to time faster or slower depending on the time of day I guess.

I had one of the lunch donburi with pork, which was very bland. I also had the fried aubergine as a starter, which also lacked seasoning. The waitress was also very unfriendly from the start, on the edge of being aggressive. All I wanted was to finish my mediocre meal and leave. I was really disappointed, will not come back.

I had the Tonkatsu ramen and it was blend and tasteless. The broth was not creamy and no layers. The Gyoza was too oily and soft. Nothing special.
