I visited this restaurant today and the food was very expensive although I was very surprised. I got a bottle of water for €4.50. I would like not to visit this restaurant.

A halal Afghan restaurant is one of the most delicious restaurants I went to in Munich, and it is really worth the experience, but one star was reduced because they do not have card payment.

I had a lunch of meat kebab with rice and Afghan vegetable soup, which was delicious, and a milk drink with cucumber, which was also delicious. Their shame is that there is no visa payment, only cash.

The food was wonderfully and beautifully arranged, but the taste, unfortunately, was not on the same level as the Hundokush restaurant, which is very impressive. It is located in Arab Street. Hundokush, I think its name is funny.. but it does not prevent you from trying it because the service and dealing are classy and they are respectful, friendly, and cooperative with our orders that do not finish 😅 and their food is delicious and the same as Azerbaijan’s food wins. 😋 The important thing is that they advised us about it, and we were really looking forward to it, but it disappointed expectations. I hope they change the cooking and leave it with a good breath and flavor.

I cannot give any star to the restaurant or the cleanliness of the outside place. Unfortunately, there is no taste in the food. The food is just pepper. Don't order in forbidden food. They are not afraid, but they take money.

It was a spontaneous visit and I was pleasantly surprised. Food was ready quickly, looked great & tasted excellent. Interior looked pretty nice too. What could be improved is the outdoor area, which is also a transit area, so that many people who don't want to go to the restaurant come and go and a certain amount of unwanted hustle and bustle arises.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The meal was okay. I myself had dish number 24, Kababe Teka ba Sammarod palau. The meat was very tasty, the rice steamed in spinach was also good. Only the eggplant in a spicy sauce was fruity and not spicy. The starter plate for two people was all over-baked, which I didn't like.

I recently ate at this restaurant and had a terrible experience. The food tasted like it had been prepared days ago, lacking any freshness or flavor. The service was also subpar, with staff not attending to us properly. To make matters worse, both my wife and I experienced severe stomach issues and diarrhea for two days after eating there. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Price is not right, bullshit. I was told that you can also pay with a bank card, but after eating only cash was accepted. Prices don't match what's on the menu at all.

The price mentioned in menu for a helles is 3,60 but they charged me 5 and when I asked why, they said the price is 7 years old? Its just a scam. They charge tourists more always. Always ask for the price first. Just for 2 euros the restaurant earned 1 star. Pathetic!!!!

Found this great Afghan restaurant in Munich. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We tried the mixed main entree platter and appetizers, all of which were tasty. The restaurant's decor matched its theme nicely.

For this price the food is really not worth it I ordered a dish which supposed to have salat bread and grilled meat, but the salat was so bad and cheap, mainly only lettuce. The bread was also some cheap sold-in supermarket dünner bread. Toilet should have sanitizer at least

Had dinner there with my daughter and a friend a while ago. They had a blue plastic lid from a disposable bottle in the minced meat. I showed the lid to the waiter, he didn't apologize for it, then I spoke to the chef. Unfortunately he didn't understand anything either. I asked for at least one apology, the response from everyone was all good, thank you.

All time favorite for years! It's a bit hidden in a passage inside, but easy to find. The atmosphere is really nice and you feel very comfortable. The food also tastes very good, the portions are large and you can fill up well even without a starter. However, if you're really hungry, I would recommend an appetizer. It's not heavily seasoned, so it's a little adapted to the crowd, but still good.

Curious, we visited Nigin this evening and - we were not disappointed! It was absolutely outstanding and a great culinary experience. The service was also very personable and friendly. A true oasis in the Saturday hustle and bustle of Munich! We'll be back 👍🙏

Excellent food! Oriental decor, nice staff. However, it was very crowded on Friday evening, with people standing in the restaurant all evening waiting for a table. You felt a bit rushed. Still a great experience, we will come back!

I was there for lunch with a work colleague. I had a lassi and a lamb meatloaf. The taste was good, the sauces were not very tasty and much too spicy for my palate. Although the starter tasted good, it was unfortunately very spicy afterward. Unfortunately, they ignored my advice not to eat spicy food. The quantity for the price wasn't really convincing either. The service was friendly and quick. The ambience seemed artificially oriental.

The main course consists of 3 pieces of potatoes and lots of rice. I also almost broke a tooth because there was a stone in the food. Taste was good. Also the service. Be careful with the soup of the day, it might be spicier than you like.

Wonderful food… very well seasoned, just how I like it! We ordered two HUGE dishes (one would have been enough)! Mine was rice with lamb and a tomato sauce with eggplant (divine)! The owner himself suggested the husband’s… There were 2 very well served dishes + 2 draft beers for 54 euros! You eat very well for a fair price! This restaurant won my heart! Here establishments close early but this one stays open until 00:00!

The waiter looked at us impatiently as we finished eating and urged us to leave the restaurant quickly. That was very unpleasant.

The best Afghan food I've ever had. Their eggplant side dish is unreal. I had a lamb kebab with a basmati pilaf with pistachios and the eggplant side dish, and the ferni pudding for dessert. All were superb. Came with a three side sauces for the meat and the green and red ones blew my mind. The yogurt one is good too though. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Might be the best meal I've had in months.

Das Essen war OK. Hatte schon viel besseres afghanisches Essen. Bedienung war freundlich aber das ganze Restaurant stank nach Schweiß. Es war definitiv von der Bedienung, da ich es jedes Mal ganz stark roch, als er an unserem Tisch war. Leider hat mir das den Appetit verdorben, meine Begleitpersonen war leider jedoch schon im Restaurant und hatten bereits bestellt. Das Restaurant werde ich nicht nochmal besuchen.

Wie waren zum ersten Mal zum Abendessen da. Ich habe Qabuli mit gegrilltem Lammfleisch bestellt und es war leider nicht so wie ich es in Erinnerung hatte. Ich habe dieses Gericht vor ein paar Jahren probiert und es war deutlich besser. An sich war aber alles lecker. Das Personal war nett und die Preise waren in Ordnung.

Wir waren gestern Abend ohne Reservierung im Restaurant, mussten jedoch 15 min warten, deshalb Empfehlung lieber mit Reservierung. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker. Wir haben qabuli Palau bestellt, Salate Paneer und Morgh Palau. Salat war leider nicht so lecker, deshalb auch nur 4 Sterne. Ansonsten sehr zufrieden mit Service Ambiente und essen. Leider gab es nicht das berühmte Sheerjakh (afghanische Eis). Wiederholungsbedarg: 100%

Overall the meal was nice, the meat (especially lamb) was tender and well seasoned. However this place is cash only, which is extremely odd for a restaurant. We ended up having to go to an ATM as there was no signage about their cash only policy whatsoever. The end total was €95 for 3 glasses of wine and 3 main meals + a salad which is quite expensive. We didn’t even get a wine list, our waiter just said “red or white”. Overall the food was nice, but the service was not impressive.

We had another visit to NIGIN today. It was such a great dinner experience. The atmosphere, the service and of course the food. The plates tasted amazing. Good portions. HALAL. They serve sauces with food that makes the food taste in another level. The mango lassi is fresh and very tasty as well. We had the plates 34 and 27. I highly recommend plate 34.

Super Essen, nur zum weiterempfehlen.

Schönes Restaurant in der Nähe Sendlinger Tor/ Marienplatz. Abends sollte man reservieren. Im Sommer gibt es auch ein paar Plätze im Freien. Die Essensportionen sind recht groß, sodass es Sinn macht ggf Vorspeisen und Nachspeisen mit einer weiteren Person zu teilen. Auffallend ist, dass das Lammfleisch butterzart ist. Übrigens ist das Fleisch halal, allerdings gibt es trotzdem alkoholische Getränke, was zu den Gerichten eher unpassend ist. Besser passen Saftschorlen. Tipp: auch den afghanischen Spinat neben dem Reis bestellen, als mit diesem durchgemischt. Ein Hauptgericht kostet ca 15-20€. Besonders lecker ist auch das afghanische Eis. Die Milchbällchen mit Zuckersirup und das Backlava haben mich nicht überzeugt.

Fanden in der Fußgängerzone nahe dem Marienplatz dieses fantastische Restaurant und wollten einfach mal Afghanisch ausprobieren - absolut genial ! Das zarteste und beste Lammfleisch was ich jemals gegessen hab und die Teigtaschen (Mantu) auch super lecker ! Klare Empfehlung für jeden der mal etwas orientalische Küche ausprobieren möchte ! Sehr freundliche Bedienung und die Preise, für diese geschmackliche 11/10, mehr als fair. Vielen Dank und definitiv nicht der letzte Besuch gewesen :)

We went to this restaurant following a recommendation for lunch. We had the lamb kebab and chicken kebabs which were served with rice and a lentil spicy sauce. When we arrived, the waiter brought us a small bowl of spicy lentil soup as a welcome, which was very flavoursome. The meal was very good and prices reasonable bearing in mind it wasn’t far from Marienplatz. The waiters were friendly and efficient. The only negative was that when we wanted to pay, they would only accept cash or German credit cards, which was surprising as even most kiosks accepted our credit card.

This restaurant is hidden in a shopping passage away from the main pedestrian area. I found it by accident after seeing a sign for it, and I'm very glad I did. The restaurant was almost empty when we got there, but it soon filled up and they had people waiting for tables. Despite the fact that it was very busy, the service was efficient and very friendly. The food was delicious, and I would recommend the ginger tea.

This was our first time trying Afghan cuisine and we were blown away! Nigin is a must visit in Munich. The staff was excellent: attentive, helpful, funny, and appreciative of our visit to their warm restaurant. The food far exceeded our expectations. The quality ingredients along with mouthwatering seasoning made us all want to return!
