Unfortunately, truffle pasta was very dry and hardly seasoned, it arrived lukewarm and the menu didn't say that it was only soaked in butter, but we were expecting something completely different... Service could be improved, unfortunately no attention was paid to us for an hour after our meal...what a shame! The other food looked good, the ambience is quite nice

Overall I thought it was ok. Wouldn't recommend it. Were there for lunch. Ambiance is nice, the advertising screen ruins it a bit. Service was also ok, not particularly friendly, but not unfriendly either. That's how I would describe the entire experience. The salad and the penne with vegetables were ok, but nothing special. Just pasta, vegetables, parmesan. Not particularly seasoned.

NICO'S KITCHEN is a restaurant very worth mentioning. The team's demeanor and way of working make a significant contribution to a relaxed atmosphere. I particularly remember the friendly and attentive service to customers by the temporary staff. The drinks, the food and even the bill were received without a long wait - despite the large number of customers. I hereby clearly express my recommendation.

Best restaurant in the European Quarter. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, whether salad, pizza, pasta or steak everything is delicious 😋 There is also a large selection of cakes and delicious wines 🍷 The hygiene in the restaurant is at an enviable level, so I can only recommend it to you ❤️

Super nice waiter. Haven't had this in Frankfurt for a long time. Food top. Chicken for the salad was out, but beef was available at no extra charge - it also tasted great. Cozy restaurant and also good daily specials. Upgrade the European Quarter!

Das Essen ist umfangreich. Allerdings nicht mit der entsprechenden Fürsorge und Liebe aufbereitet. Es gab kein Vorlegebesteck, die Gans wurde komplett auf den Tisch gestellt und erst nach einer Bitte lieblos zerlegt und als Fleischberg wieder an den Tisch gebracht. Der Platz am Tisch war zu klein in Anbetracht der Fülle an Speisen, die gestellt werden sollte. Der Kellner schob eigenmächtig mein Besteck zur Seite das Dessert musste man sich zu zweit ohne eigenen Teller und Vorlegebesteck teilen.

The place is nice and familiar, I ordered the the quatro stagioni, and they missed to add the anchovy on the pizza, otherwise the food and the service was great.

Very moderate. Food is not served at the same time - there is a 20 minute delay for the main courses with the friendly advice “start, the food is getting cold”. Unfortunately, the beef in the pasta was more than done. Too bad!

Update summer 2024: Still super tasty. Rarely have I had such a good pizza. The salad was also very good. The prices of the food are also still moderate. We continue to recommend it! P.S. Nico is a great host. Previous post: Summer, sun and pizza and other Italian delicacies...that's how you can start the conclusion. The truffle pizza with mortadella and the salad with goat cheese tasted wonderful. We cannot understand the individual negative comments. Prices are OK. if you consider that the food is all of high quality. The name doesn't say what a great restaurant it is. .. We definitely recommend Nico's Kitchen and it won't be our last visit...

Friendly service. We sat outside right on the main street. Well, yes... the pizza with salami and ham leaves a lot to be desired. A lot of fat or oil on the pizza. The right pizza seasoning was missing

Dropped in randomly while visiting messe Frankfurt, stopped by for coffee and a salad. The hostess was wonderfully kind, she made sure she understood us correctly and we realized what we were ordering. We tried the beetroot carpaccio and the peppers with garlic and olive oil. She also gave us a delicious hot sauce and croutons on the side. The quantity was also very generous. The food and coffee was so delicious! We are going to go back again!

The pizzas were exactly to my taste. Thin base, crispy and delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is modern and inviting.

The food is good, but it took a very long time for the main course to arrive, even though there wasn't much going on at lunchtime. The bread is highly recommended as a starter platter.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is not my recommendation. The service was friendly, but obviously overwhelmed given that the house was fully booked. We waited about an hour for our food. What came next was a salad with strips of beef that were not fried but almost charred. Something like that shouldn't even reach the table. The ambience is not my thing. The two of us had a tiny table in a closely spaced row of other tables, so that under normal conditions we would have been able to hear every conversation at the neighboring table. However, thanks to the amount of people, it was so loud that we could only hear each other when we were almost shouting at each other. And that was a reserved table.

This was a fantastic experience. Very good food, well brought, classy and fantastic optimistic personel. When i´m in the city i will come back.

A reluctant 3 on the food, I had great hopes and the carpaccio starter was all I’d hoped for. But the pasta in the main was inedibly salty. I could actually not eat the noodles at all. Nonetheless a great little place with attentive staff. Excellent value. Tell the chefs to lay off the salt!

Schönes Ambiente. Leider stimmt die Preis Leistung beim Essen so gar nicht. 25€ für eine Trüffel Pasta, auf der nicht eine einzige Scheibe echter Trüffel liegt ist nicht angemessen. Und das obwohl auf OpenTable ein Bild vermutlich genau dieses Gerichts mit Trüffel abgebildet ist. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Auf die mitgeteilte Kritik wurde aber dennoch nicht reagiert. Pasta und ein Bier kosteten uns final 31€ pro Person.

Delicious! We quickly managed to get a place after the trade fair and were very satisfied. My pasta (tagliatelle with veal ragout & porcini mushrooms) was very tasty and incredibly hot! I haven't had a dish served this hot in a long time - great! My husband's pizza was also very tasty - the only thing missing was a little spiciness (he had a Diavolo).

Wir waren nach der Messe in Nico‘s Kitchen und haben sehr gut gegessen und sind trotz überfüllten Lokal, extrem nett bedient worden!!! Wir kommen nächstes Jahr ganz bestimmt wieder!!!! Danke für die Herzlichkeit!

My favorite restaurant in Frankfurt! Been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks and not had a bad meal here! Nico is fabulous and he goes above and beyond when i wanted something from the seasonal menu! The saffron risotto was my all time favorite followed by the fish stew pie and don’t get me started on the desserts!

Ob Pasta, Pizza oder Salate - uns schmeckt es hier immer hervorragend! Qualität die man sieht und schmeckt. Das Ambiente ist sehr ästhetisch und einladend. Chef und Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Preise halte ich für fair und dem Standort entsprechend.

Very tasty, reasonable prices, cosy ambience, pleasant service. I had an "Eier Omlette nach deinen Wünschen" and they really did well what I asked for.

Kurz nachgefragt, Platz zur Verfügung gestellt, bestellt und etwas sehr leckeres bekommen. Die Portion hätte größer sein können aber es ist noch akzeptable. Schön vom Standort ist es nicht aber es wurde innen sehr schön eingerichtet. Service ist super und die Wartezeit, obwohl wirklich rappelvoll war, war kurz. Ein Besuch ist es wert und das nicht nur einmal. Alleine der Blick in die Kühltheke war ein Genuss. 🫶

Modernes Italienisches Restaurant mit einer guten Qualität. Die Pizza ist wirklich lecker mit dem dünnen Boden. Dem Pizzabäcker kann man bei der Arbeit zuschauen. Die Nudelportionen sind etwas klein aber eine gute Qualität. Es gibt zusätzlich zur normalen Speisekarte auch eine Tageskarte.

Sehr gute Pizza, (besonders Diavolo), eine der besten in Frankfurt. War wirklich ein toller Nachmittag mit der Familie. Am besten reservieren.

Super freundlich, super nette Gegend Personal Top und das Essen fantastisch top Qualität ich merkte es beim jedem Bissen ! Mein pizza diavola mit feta Käse Lovely.

Bedienung / Service mit der Gesamtzahl an Gästen schlichtweg überfordert. Getränke wurden vergessen, zu spät oder garnicht gebracht. Wir warteten knapp eine Stunde auf unser Essen. Das Essen ist mittelmäßig bis gut. Nichts besonderes. Für einen Snack in der Mittagspause okay, für einen schönen Abend würde ich ein anderes Lokal empfehlen. Zumal im Außenbereich das Ambiente nicht passt (fehlende Beleuchtung, sitzen im Dunkeln, etc.).

Leider nicht mehr so wie früher. Die Bedienung hat gewechselt. Die Dame ist total überfordert und umorganisiert. Allerdings war auch viel los. Die Pizza war Mal die Beste im Europaviertel. Leider nicht mehr. Boden matschig. Schade. Der Salat mit Ziegenkäse und Himbeerdressing eine Katastrophe: Käse mit Honig beträufelt? Kenne ich überbacken. Das Himbeerdressing war Sirup und zuckersüß. Leider nicht genießbar. Reklamiert, Reaktion war mäßig. Vollen Preis bezahlt. Wir waren nun zum letzten Mal da, da das vorherige Mal schon nicht mehr so toll war. Sehr schade. Hatten uns so gefreut in der Nachbarschaft endlich Lokal zu haben, das man uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann...

Sehr nettes servicepersonal, aber habe. etwas länger warten müssen bis wir bedient wurden. war zugegebenermassen aber auch full house :-) Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch sehr grosse Portionen. Wir hatten das Ziegenkaese-Rote Bete Carpaccio und die gemischten Ravioli mit Trüffelsosse und Pfifferlingen - beides sehr zu Empfehlen!

Tolles Essen, toller Service und schönes Ambiente. Das Essen war bislang immer sehr sehr gut und sehr frisch. Wir kommen so gerne zu Nico‘s Kitchen und können es nur jedem weiter empfehlen. Definitiv ein Geheimtipp in Frankfurt.

Habe das Restaurant gleich zweimal ausprobiert. An beiden Tagen war das Personal sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und lustig, die Küche ausgezeichnet. Sowohl der Antipasti-Teller, der mediterrane Teller und der hausgemachte Käsekuchen haben mich überzeugt.

Personal sehr flink & freundlich, Essen auch sehr sehr gut, frisch, sehr lecker! Abends besser Plätze reservieren und Anfragen- bei bestimmten Essenswünschen. Die Auswahl ist an manchen Tagen etwas begrenzt ( man könnte auch sagen, schon aufgegessen ;-)). Weine und Digestif waren sehr gut! Tolle Tagesangebote und ganz herzliche Betreiber!!

Der beste Laden im Europaviertel und darüber hinaus. Man ist jederzeit herzlich willkommen auch ohne Reservierung. Entspannt ungezwungen. Speisen und Getränke auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Preis-Leistung in Frankfurt nicht zu schlagen.
