I've experienced something similar at several Asian "restaurants." 🤷🏽‍♂️ We went for the evening buffet. The food was okay. I'm not a fan of buffets, so I don't have much to compare it to, but the food was decent. However, if you order a plate of fish/meat/vegetables freshly grilled, be prepared for something that's definitely overcooked... Personally, I wouldn't call it a culinary masterpiece. It's not for me.

The staff is extremely rude. The most tactless, impolite, and downright insolent was an older Chinese woman. She works as a waitress, and you often order from her. She constantly takes it upon herself to look down on others (especially tourists who don't speak German but do speak English). She tries to give "tips" on learning German and insults the guests. A disgusting restaurant; I'll never go there again.

The buffet is too expensive in my opinion. The selection is decent. Drinks are overpriced. Almost €100 for two people with a buffet is a lot of money.

On November 7, 2025, my wife and I visited the New Shanghai Restaurant again. This time, we were accompanied by friends. What can I say? We were, just like about 14 months ago, absolutely delighted. My wheelchair space was perfectly chosen. The quality of the food is very high, as is the attentiveness of the staff! Excellent parking is available in the underground garage. If we are ever in Stuttgart again, we will definitely stop by again – we promise!

If your child is 11-13 years old, they charge 30 euros, and a glass of water costs 5 euros. The staff does everything they can to make you leave quickly; the atmosphere is tense. Everything you put in your mouth is strictly monitored by a "supervisor." My daughter and I were disappointed. We left 71 euros for both of us, and we regretted it.

We went on a Thursday for Dinner. No Reservations made, plenty of seats available. The Mongolian Grill was good. The variety of food choices were an okay amount. I expected more sushi variety but there wasnt much. Also for Dessert. The staff were nice. They also offer Takeout boxes. Personally, i like Gourmet Tempel in Lubwigsburg better. Although, even the food quality & taste they have there are going low a bit since the past year.

Solid all-you-can-eat fare, but that wasn't what I was expecting. You'll find everything you'd normally find at an all-you-can-eat restaurant.

For 31 Euro an open buffet with great food

The lunch buffet is great, tasty, and fresh, but has become quite expensive these days. I recommend it, but the price isn't suitable for every day.

We're on vacation here and booked a table for 7 people at short notice. The food is delicious. The value for money is excellent, and the service is prompt; dirty dishes are cleared away quickly. There's a very large selection at the buffet and a live cooking area. We'll definitely be happy to come back when we're here again.

We were there for lunch on our daughter's 20th birthday. The staff were very friendly and organized. The buffet food was very good, and it was constantly refilled. Drinks are included, and I thought the price was good, too. Unfortunately, the cooking experience is only available in the evenings, but that's not a problem, as we'll be coming in the evening next time. It's advisable to make a reservation. There was also a small birthday surprise. Many thanks to the staff for a lovely afternoon and very good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Parking is free in the parking garage, and the restaurant has wheelchair-accessible elevator access.

Well, even though the staff was extremely friendly and did an excellent job, the restaurant still had some shortcomings. The photos on the website made the sushi selection seem larger; unfortunately, in the restaurant itself (on a Saturday at 11:30), there were only about 3-4 varieties, and the rice tasted a bit dry. The selection at that time was also unfortunately not extensive, even though a comparable restaurant offers significantly more sushi and other dishes for just 5 euros. Unfortunately, the website lacks a proper layout—they simply attach a photo of the menu, which is impractical and of poor quality. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I would come here again.

The restaurant is not recommended; the food at the buffet was cold, except for the rice. I complained to the assistant manager, and his response was...there's a microwave over there, so they can heat up the food. There was no indication at the buffet that the heating system was broken. Then he asked me how much I wanted to pay, and I said €20. He then said...okay, but don't come back. This is the first time in my life that a restaurant has practically thrown me out. If you read older reviews, the problem with the cold buffet has been going on for five years, not, as the assistant manager said, "currently broken."

It was constantly refilled. It was nice to be able to choose our own raw ingredients (meat, fish, seafood, and vegetables) and have them grilled. We sat on the terrace, where people were smoking. But it didn't bother us at all (we don't smoke). Fast, very friendly, and unobtrusive service. We highly recommend it!

Classic Asian food as you would expect. However, the food is often not quite hot enough. The temperature of the individual dishes is more lukewarm than warm. It's far from hot. The soups are hot, but unfortunately, the rest of the buffet isn't. The flavors are simple but delicious, and you know what to expect since the buffet is usually set up the same way. Dogs are actually welcome, too, which makes us very happy. The service is always friendly and prompt.

Unfortunately, the teppanyaki food is cooked to death and then bone dry. The buffet is okay, but lukewarm and pretty bland. All in all, the food absolutely doesn't justify the price! So, it's better to eat a la carte somewhere else!

We went on Sunday evening, 2 adults, 1 child. It was okay in itself, the selection wasn't particularly large, but we were full. What personally disappointed me was the selection at the sweet counter. The cheesecake, donuts, and meringue were from a discount store. The fruit, except for the grapes and watermelon, was from a can. At least, that's how it looked. The ice water was very dirty. For the high price we ended up paying, I would have liked a different selection. Hope the office reads this.

We're always passing through and stopping for dinner in the Stuttgart area. This time we wanted to try a different all-you-can-eat restaurant and were dazzled by the many 5-star reviews. Although we also read the lower-star reviews beforehand. The price/performance ratio is simply not right. Period. Anyone who gives this 5 stars has never eaten at another all-you-can-eat Asian restaurant. €31 per person, and drinks are on top. The buffet doesn't have a particularly wide selection and is relatively empty. The grilled food could have been improved. We probably won't be coming back.

I've been to your place four times now, and each time it's been worth the trip from Heilbronn. We usually combine it with a visit to the Theaterhaus. The food is really fresh and incredibly clean. We specifically chose the restaurant because it said online that it was open until 3 p.m. However, when we arrived at 2:10 p.m., we were told that the kitchen closes at 2:30 p.m. - information that was not apparent online. To our disappointment, the buffet was already half cleared and no more food was refilled. Instead, the staff helped themselves to it. Our request as to whether something could be refilled was ignored and the employees did not respond to our concerns. What was particularly disturbing was the unfriendly manner of one employee who simply repeated herself instead of offering a solution. We had a long journey and were looking forward to the food - unfortunately we were disappointed. A restaurant should provide transparent information about its actual opening times and offer its guests appropriate service even shortly before closing time. So all we're left with is a dissatisfied conclusion: We won't be coming back.

The people there looked very tired and not smiling, and most of the food was from cans. At least there was a service point where there is a chef that cooks your chosen raw food.
