The food here is very good and the service is also very friendly. But at peak times it is always crowded. You should or have to make a reservation. For 21 euros the lunch buffet, you really can't complain.

I've been to restaurants with an Asian buffet several times. I've also been to the New Shanghai a few times. I really enjoy being there. The restaurant is bright, friendly and has friendly, attentive staff. The ingredients at the buffet are very fresh and delicious, as was the case this evening. It's usually very full in the evenings, so it's worth arriving early, as you can still get a seat even without a reservation, as long as it's not a larger group. Certainly one of the best Asian buffet restaurants in Baden-Württemberg. Gladly again!!

Very rich buffet, whether meat dishes, desserts/fruit/ice cream or salads, everything is always freshly prepared 😋😋😋 And not to forget the absolutely affordable price, as all (non-alcoholic) drinks and even coffee are included in the buffet price 😊 Then there is also free parking in the underground car park. And that in Stuttgart 😳 Was the first time there today, but definitely not the last time 👍👍👍👍

We were there for lunch with our family on December 25th, 2024. The selection at the buffet was great, everything was beautifully presented and always replenished. However, some dishes were rather lukewarm. But the taste is really very tasty. What was nice was that there was no need to queue anywhere despite the tables being full. The entire structure of the buffet is generously and cleverly arranged, high praise The dishes that you could have grilled were all fresh and served quickly. The waitress who served us was great, extremely friendly and very quick without being intrusive. Thank you very much for that. The ambience: very tasteful, reserved and rather elegant. The restaurant is easily accessible, there is an underground car park from which you can easily take the elevator up. Therefore also handicapped accessible. The location is great, there is an S-Bahn stop right in front of it. It was a bit annoying that the entrance door to the restaurant and the door into the building were left open for a long time or often, so it was cold and the cigarette smoke could clearly be smelled. All in all, it was really nice, everyone enjoyed it and we will definitely come back and recommend the restaurant to others. Thank you very much and keep it up

Housed in an office complex that looks unattractive from the outside, its great strength lies in the ambience and the exceptional buffet. Everything your heart desires is laid out there and is regularly and freshly refilled. The main course, whether meat or fish, is freshly prepared and brought to the table. Everyone will find something here! Finish with the wonderful dessert buffet! And all for a reasonable price!

A few service employees are rude but don't show it, but you can tell when they don't like you, especially children, who don't like the slices that much, which is a shame!

Asian buffet at the Pragsattel in Stuttgart. Parking is free in the parking garage, but finding the entrance requires a little patience. The buffet is large with a great selection. Once upon a time it was good...in the old days! We ordered - I mean - Bamigoreng off the menu, in the evening. My husband and I each had a non-alcoholic beer. We paid 53 euros something. The chicken in the noodles was poor quality. Hardly any vegetables. The mountain of noodles on the plate was large. The buffet may be even better, but it can sometimes be very expensive. Prices are lower at lunchtime. In any case, we don't want to go there anymore. We used to love going there for lunch. The price increases are impossible to justify. We were just disappointed.

You should definitely make a reservation as the shop is always full, 20-30 euros per person unless the drinks cost extra. I think the dishes taste very tasty, salad, soup, meat, fish... there is simply everything you want. See photos.

Unfortunately quite disappointing. The selection and quality of the sushi was sad. The products weren't really fresh. The salmon from the salmon sushi was dry on the edges because it had been laid out for too long. 3 kinds of normal make, and a kind of California roll, but the tuna came from a can, a no-go!! I only enjoyed some of the hot dishes - the eight treasures had a very unusual aftertaste (old?). The ingredients for the tepanyaki were fresh, but the wait for the tepanyaki was forever, so I only had one plate of it. In my opinion not worth the €31 for an evening - I wouldn't spend €15 for it.

The Shanghai offers a high quality China Atomsphere and has both regular and round turntables for larger groups. The buffet is very well maintained and the selection is extremely large, even for a Chinese restaurant. The service is exemplary fast. The quality is excellent for a buffet restaurant. Several visits since opening in 2018 confirm the consistently high quality.

Really conveniently located for those arriving by car (as there are free parking spaces on the street + some directly in front of the restaurant entrance) as well as by subway and S-Bahn. Super friendly reception staff, if they are sitting at the reception, they stand up when a guest comes in or when saying goodbye. Had a reservation for a birthday and the waiter brought a sweet fruity birthday surprise with a sparkler. In general, everyone is very attentive and always at your service if you need something, just a look is enough. Great food selection, lots of space and beautifully decorated. Better than any buffet Asian I know, I have recommended the restaurant countless times and am now a regular there myself. Dinner buffet for €31 is more expensive than anywhere else but really worth every cent!!

I love this restaurant every time. Super tasty and definitely worth it. Some criticize the fact that you pay €31 per person, but for that you can really eat everything and really enough. I think it's perfect and definitely the best all you can eat far and wide.

Insufficient offer and unfriendly service Unfortunately, the all-you-can-eat offer did not meet our expectations. For 30 euros we were hoping for a larger and more varied selection of dishes. The selection was very limited and hardly appealing. The behavior of the staff was particularly disappointing. The employee was unfriendly and rude. I was asked three times if the amount on the bill was correct because I chose not to tip. When I confirmed this, the bill was literally thrown at me and the waitress ran off in a huff. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here.

Small buffet compared to prices

Cheap food is served here at exorbitant prices, especially on weekends. The desserts were all prepackaged from the cheapest category. I had the strong impression that, with the exception of teppaniaki and rice, the staff wouldn't even eat the food on offer themselves. Especially not for this price. I find it even worse that people afterwards think that this is original Chinese food. Spoiler alert: it's not! A reasonable price is a maximum of 20 euros. Or 30-35 euros with a drinks flat rate. Everything else is a rip-off unless the quality is improved. There is 1 star for the friendly service and another for the interior design.

The food is almost always refilled and tastes very tasty. You can get non-alcoholic drinks for free at the lunch table. It is very nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly.

I can highly recommend the lunch buffet! There is so much choice. Everything was delicious and freshly prepared. The restaurant is huge. There could potentially be a lot of guests there. If that bothers you, I recommend not going here. The price has increased to €21 for the lunch buffet including soft drinks/coffee (!), but is still very good considering the quality and selection of desserts. We were there with three young people around 13 years old before 1 p.m.

Great choice of dishes. Good to be able to have food cooked on the spot for you. But €4.80 for a glass of sparkling water (not even from a bottle, not even anything special except for the half slice of lemon ) is exaggerating. This is water ! The price of the buffet is not outrageous, but I was taken aback by the cost of a single glass of water. This is why nobody should order anything without asking for the price and deciding whether they think it is fair, or whether they think the service provider is taking advantage of his/her position.

I went there for the first time with my girlfriend, I also ate sushi in your restaurant for the first time in my life and I loved everything there, everything was so delicious. The staff are smiling and very friendly which is very important. I'm so happy and I'd love to come back more often.

Find the New Shanghai Restaurant an all you can in with the best and freshest offering from a buffet restaurant to date. The service was also very attentive and the plates were always cleared promptly. Fish and meat for tepenyaki was always attractively presented on crushed ice. The holiday price of €31 per person is high but very fair for the quality and offer. We'll meet Again.

Didn't have any cash with us today and paid by card. The waitress was always very friendly before paying, but since we unfortunately couldn't leave a tip this time (which we always do) she was really pissed off and clearly showed that she wasn't happy. It just seems like she was only nice for tips. It's a shame and unprofessional. Therefore, two stars deducted. Food is not an issue: very tasty and we are very satisfied. The only negative point is if you were constantly disturbed by the waitresses while you were eating. I can understand that they have to do their job. But please, don't be so conspicuous 🙏 unfortunately it's annoying when you're having a conversation and suddenly someone comes in to get plates and glasses without asking. Otherwise, everything is great. Everyone is friendly, but communication is lacking.

The Shanghai Restaurant in Stuttgart offers a large number of dishes at the “All you can Eat Buffet”. We were there on May 1st on a public holiday. The price for the buffet only costs €31 per person. Drinks cost extra. The food was ok, lots of choice and there was something for everyone. Taste was okay. The ambience was nice. There were many places. But for families with wheelchairs or strollers it can easily get tight. The service staff were very friendly and quick. Conclusion: If you would like to eat an all you can eat buffet, you are welcome to come here. But you shouldn't expect a gourmet taste when eating. The only point of criticism for the hefty price of €31, one would have expected that drinks would be included.

Yes, what you can expect from such a large restaurant...the lunch buffet is delicious. Eat and drink as much as you want. Some people forget or have no manners and shovel the food in. I like it because there is a lot without breading. The sushi is delicious and the service is attentive. In the evening at the buffet the grill is open and the company is more polite. The food is even better there and there is a really great selection. Underground car park with elevator directly below. Everything is barrier-free. It is not recommended for vegans and people with peanut allergies.
