We were here for dinner this evening. The service was super nice and the duck was perfectly crispy and wonderfully aromatic. The starter and dessert were also very tasty. Definitely recommended!

The braised pork is still delicious as always, but the portions of the dishes are indeed getting smaller and smaller.

Have been here only for the lunch buffets. Never seen variety. The taste is okayish for the money you pay. In the name of ambience, there is nothing much here. Some of the food items are really nice in buffet. If you’re a vegetarian, be ready to eat only fries in the buffet :) The service is also ok. You can expect friendliness in Germany I guess and this place is no exception!

The store is very bad! Hair in the food, dirty dishes, seating options are catastrophic and I don't even want to start with the service! Apart from that, far too expensive and portions too small! Never again and not recommended!

This was our fourth time there! The food is always very fine and authentic. The map also offers a lot of unusual things. There are also yummy vegetarian dishes. The operators are very nice and helpful. Overall there is a nice and cozy atmosphere.

You can't understand the Google rating. The price is overpriced and the portion is super small.

We were here for lunch and chose the buffet. For 10.90 euros this is really great. Large selection, delicious and tasty food. The service was extremely quick and attentive. We will be back.

We found this place thanks to Lieferando. It's in the former Bosphorus restaurant space, which I'm still heartbroken over. They cancelled our takeout orders TWICE. No idea why, as we're nearby and ordered pretty standard things. They are also on Uber Eats with only about 3 items available. We ventured to visit in person, already kinda salty about the delivery disappointments (will forever NOT pre-tip, because getting your tips refunded by Liferabdo is a "known issue") We ordered: 🥟 Homemade dumplings - delicious & fresh. Disappointed they aren't offered pan fried, I missed the crispiness. We ate one order & took another to go. 🥖 Homemade egg rolls. Also tasty. Definitely not those awful veggie frozen ones that every Chinese restaurant in Stuttgart gives out like fortune cookies. Good balance of meat & veg. 🌶️ MaPo Tofu - I love this dish & use it as a benchmark. I got really excited when some other patrons entered (we entered an empty restaurant) and started talking about how much they love the mapo tofu here....my heart sank when they followed with "it's so good here because it's not spicy like Szechuan food" 😫 This is truly the mapo tofu dish for people who despise mapo tofu. It was so bland. Zero umami or tingle from Szechuan peppercorns. Zero spice, even though we told them not to hold back on spice. For an unknown reason, there are peas in it! I don't think I've ever had a worse version. 🥘 Familienglück (just noticed now we were mis-charged on our bill, oh well) - We asked what the skillet of duck was in the other review photos & we're told it was this. The menu, sadly lacks any description telling you what "Family happiness" is. This was also solid. I found it pretty average, but my husband was really impressed with the fresh veggies. The skillet came served over a heater/grill, which was nice presentation, but also was kinda burning the food. Wouldn't really eat here again & can't trust delivery. Though, I would still check out the lunch buffet. I have a lot more reason to accept bland food when it's €10 AYCE 🤣 At least would give me easy way to check out more dishes here.

Das vielleicht beste chinesische Restaurant in Stuttgart. Wir sind regelmäßig dort. Sehr authentisches Essen und freundliche Bedienung. Sehr zu empfehlen

Das Essen ist wirklich spitze. Die Pekingsuppe fruchtig und pikant. Das scharfe Huhn mit Erdnüssen ist toll angemacht, das Gemüse der Knüller. Das Ambiente ist wie bei viele Asiaten eher einfach, aber das Essen und die nette Bedienung stechen alles! Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal da.

Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Habe leider trotzdem ein paar Kritikpunkte: Die Saté-Spieße wurden nicht mit Erdnusssauce serviert, obwohl so auf der Karte angegeben. Die Wan-Tan Suppe war wirklich EXTREM heiss, so dass ich sie erst nach etwa 30 (!) Minuten essen konnte. Und die Gerichte der Mittagsmenüs kann man wohl auch Abends bestellen, was mir bei der Besichtigung der Karte als Kunde nicht klar war (es sind ja schließlich "Mittags"gerichte). Dadurch war die Auswahl an Gerichten am Abend sehr eingeschränkt. Wenn das mal alles geändert und die Karte verständlicher gestaltet wurde, ist das Restaurant aber uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Schönes Ambiente, toller und sympathischer Service und das Essen kommt sehr schnell und ist absolut köstlich. Zudem bietet die Karte einige vegetarische Optionen

Really great Chinese restaurant! Authentic grading on the German curve, and the gong bao chicken was different but extremely delicous! And the handmade dumplings as well! I'm looking forward to going back!

Am Kernerplatz gibt es seit einigen Monaten ein chinesisches Restaurant. Die Speisekarte enthält einige - für mich - sehr exotische Gerichte, das könnte dafür sprechen, daß die Küche authentisch chinesisch ist - das kann ich jedoch nicht beurteilen. Das von uns bestellte (vegetarische als auch Gerichte mit Fleisch) Essen war ausgezeichnet, frisch und wurde uns mit viel Aufmerksamkeit serviert. Ich war vor dem Besuch des Appetize seit langer Zeit nicht mehr chinesisch essen, die Küche im Appetize hebt sich nach meiner Meinung von den üblichen eingedeutschten Schweinefleisch süß/sauer -Restaurants deutlich ab. Das Lokal ist für uns eine große Bereicherung des Viertels um den Kernerplatz.

A Fantastic hidden Chinese restaurant beside the Marriott Le Meridian Hotel. The food’s depth of flavor and balanced taste created an authentic Chinese restaurant. Out of all the Asian restaurants near this area this is the best. Beats most Chinese food in the United States. Better yet, no MSG and they make their own broth from scratch. The picture is their Braised Pork Soup, juicy and tender with a hint of spice. A must to include their dumpling wonton soup, fried rice, and pork lo mein noodles. Delicious!

Wer auf der Suche nach authentischem chinesischen Essen ist, wird hier sehr glücklich. Die aufmerksame, aber nicht aufdringliche Bedienung runden das Erlebnis wunderbar ab. Lediglich das Ambiente ist teilweise noch etwas ausbaufähig. Dies ist aber vermutlich noch der Umbruchphase in der Neueröffnung geschuldet. Klare Empfehlung!

Gute Qualität! Es hat sehr frisch und knackig geschmeckt! Nettes Personal! Und alles ist sehr sauber, sogar die Maggie-Flasche! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich allerdings mussten wur sehr lange auf das Essen und die Rechnung warten. Das Essen war sehr lecker aber etwas teuer.

Alles, was wir bestellt hatten war sehr lecker und die Getränke, insbesondere der Weißwein, sehr gut gekühlt. Schön wären noch ein paar zusätzliche vegetarische Optionen, z.B. vegetarische Dumplings.

Haben uns so so auf ein Chinese in der Nähe gefreut. Vergebens! Sorry, das Gemüse war tot gekocht, außer die Karotte beim dem einen Gericht. Geschmacklich Naja. Wenn ich gebratene Nudeln bestelle, erwarte ich "autentische" Asiatische Nudeln KEINE ital. Spaghetti! Leider kein Gemüse dabei, trocken ohne soße wurde das zweite Gericht serviert und das Fleisch war mega trocken, schwer zum runter schlucken! Hausgemachte Frühlingsrollen, war geschmacklich ok aber ohne Fleisch schade! Alles sehr schade, hatten uns wirklich wirklich gefreut über die Neueröffnung!

Great local place. Food was absolutely delicious. Tried chicken and tofu with mixed vegetables, fried rice and a pork dish. All were delicious.

Mein Partner und Ich waren gestern das erste mal hier essen. Die Gerichte waren absolut lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Die Atmosphäre im Outdoorbereich war sehr gemütlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. :)

As vegetarian I must say the place has a decent selection of choices. The place itself is warm and nice and the waiter is lovely. I would just add more veg options because I would like to try more delicious things by them!!

Ein sehr nettes und gut geführtes Restaurant. Die Gerichte unterscheiden sich auf jeden Fall von denen der klassischen asiatischen Restaurants.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und äußerst leckere, authentische Gerichte. Ich habe gebratenen Schweinebauch gegessen und war satt und zufrieden. Die Küche tendiert zur Region Sezchuan und ist dementsprechend scharf/würzig. Werde wiederkommen!
