Good, very good service, the ambience a bit sterile for a brewery

Initially, the food and ambiance were very good. However, I wouldn't go here again. Reason: One group was offered a set menu (side salad, choice of main course, dessert) for €28.50 without prior notice, and the price wasn't even listed on the menu. When I asked, the price was grumbledly given, and I was then graciously allowed to order from the regular menu (in my case, a special burger for €18.95 with a side salad, which isn't even on the menu). Then, when I got the bill, I was disappointed: the side salad was charged a whopping €10 (a complete disgrace for what was offered). I could have opted for the set menu at a lower price.

We came to eat and we received a free elderly contact. The schnitzel had a Greek slant. The prices were reasonable. The room lacked atmosphere, but it was ok.

Standard brewery with tasty beer and delicious fattening food, nothing out of the ordinary. The ambience consists of inexpensive spot-welded tin lamps, typical Chaina plagiarism lamps. The service is very nice. Unfortunately the beer sizes are only 0.25 and 0.4 and 5 euros for 0.4L of beer is quite expensive. There is no Coca Cola, just a cheap brand.

The food was delicious, unfortunately the sauce on my schnitzel was not homemade and had the instant sauce taste. Otherwise great, friendly staff, good portions.

We had the 3 course menu. Plentiful, very tasty and of good quality. Service absolutely top. All in all very satisfied. Gladly again The light beer is also excellent

Unfortunately, our experience was rather negative. We arrived at the brewery shortly before the kitchen closed - which unfortunately is not clearly communicated. However, we would still have liked friendly service. The employee responsible for us seemed annoyed. Guests at other tables were consistently ignored and only served after a long wait. It's a shame, because the food was ok and the atmosphere is also appealing.

An absolutely positive visit to the brewery today. Chic atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. We enjoyed the house brown beer. The Ahrtal menu was simply great (apple and celery cream soup, veal boiled beef in a delicious beer mustard cream sauce with crunchy root vegetables and potato donuts, cheesecake with forest fruit compote), and the hop farmer's glass in a spicy sauce was simply great. This spontaneous stop was really worth it.

Great friendly restaurant. Nice attentive and extremely friendly waiters. The food including starters is freshly and deliciously prepared. Portion size is OK. A variety of drinks is also available. We can only recommend it.

Very large place, we were a bit separated from the rest of the place. There is a low wall with benches between where the boilers are located. We did not find the gentleman who served us very hospitable, drinks were not thrown on the table. And he was gone again. And that's how it felt every time he came. He had a chat with locals. I had the hamburger, the flavor with everything together tasted good. But too bad it wasn't a fresh hamburger. Way overcooked and too flat, a really firm disk. My wife had black pudding with other meat, the apple compote also not fresh or home made. And about the mashed potatoes, I doubt it was a packet. Too bad because it is a nice thing. I'm not really dissatisfied but I expected better.

Top cuisine, mostly nice staff, we have been regular guests there for years and drive 80 km about once a month. and eat there!

Stopped in spontaneously and got a table on a Sunday lunchtime. Dogs are no problem and the ambience in the brewery is pleasant. The toilets are very clean and generally it makes a very well-kept impression. The food was ok, the curry was a bit bland - it was clearly lacking in spice. The service was generally attentive.

We absolutely loved the Neuenahrer Brauhaus! The home-brewed beers are an absolute highlight – fresh, tasty and brewed with great attention to detail. We were particularly impressed by the “light” taste of it! The food was also first class: hearty, perfectly seasoned and prepared with high quality ingredients. The goulash was a real culinary delight, and my wife's baked potato with smoked salmon was also great. In addition, there is a cozy atmosphere and the friendly, attentive staff, which perfectly rounded off our visit. We will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend this brewery!

Das Neuenahrer Brauhaus hat uns rundum begeistert! Die selbstgebrauten Biere sind ein absolutes Highlight – frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gebraut. Besonders das „Helles“ des hat uns überzeugt! Auch das Essen war erstklassig: Herzhaft, perfekt gewürzt und mit hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet. Das Gulasch war ein echter Gaumenschmaus, auch die Folienkartoffel an Räucherlachs meiner Frau war super. Dazu kommt eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und das freundliche, aufmerksame Personal, das unseren Besuch perfekt abgerundet hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können dieses Brauhaus nur wärmstens empfehlen!

A nice brewery in the middle of Bad Neuenahr. The decor is rustic and cozy, the guest garden is large and well attended in summer. The dishes were all very tasty and freshly prepared. The drinks were varied and served cool. The service was very friendly, attentive and helpful. The drawback is parking, but the journey is worth it.

As new arrivals, we are absolutely thrilled! Table reservations are easy online and the staff are always very friendly. The brown beer and the sauerbraten are a dream, plus a very nice brewery atmosphere, what more could a woman want. Absolute recommendation!!

Egal ob das Naturtrübe oder ein Braunbier im Neuenahrer Brauhaus geht ein Frischgezapftes immer. Eigenes Hefeweizen oder auch alkoholfreie Biere gibt es auch. Man sitzt gut am Kupferkessel oder hat diesen im Blick. Die Bedienung ist schnell und freundlich; die Speisekarte recht übersichtlich, entspricht aber dem, was in Brauhäusern oder Bierstuben so angeboten wird. Sie reicht von der Currywurst mit Pommes über Schnitzel bis zum Gulasch mit Spätzle. Die Preise sind eher hochpreisig. 0,4 Liter Bier von € 4,95 bis € 5,25, Currywurst knapp € 15. Kreditkartenzahlung möglich. Wir kommen wieder, wenn im Ahrtal unterwegs.

At the weekend I went to the Neuenahrer Brauhaus with my food buddy. The ambience is typically rustic, as you would like it to be, and there was a winter menu where I ordered Heaven and Äad. Typical Rhineland food is probably not for everyone but I love it. In any case, you could be satisfied with the portion and you could tell that it wasn't frozen goods. The service is very friendly but sometimes you have the feeling that you are being overlooked or seem very stressed.

Hello, we can't say anything about the food, we only enjoyed wine and beer there. But the food all looked very good. The brewery is very bright and beautiful. The waiters were always very nice. We would love to come back, and definitely for dinner.

Had lunch with family (6 adults). Friendly welcome and table assignment. Pleasant and quick order acceptance and service. Everyone was satisfied with the taste of the dishes and their abundance (the size can be ordered according to the menu). In particular, the schnitzels were crispy, breaded, fried and delicious.

You have to like the atmosphere. For me the facility was very comfortable, but the noise level was very high. The service gave the impression that they wanted to get us our food quickly and then leave quickly. The quality of the food was corresponding. The burger patties were convenience products that were tasteless and bland. For the price I expect better quality. The beer tastes great. Overall, the price/performance ratio is not good. We decided not to eat here again.

My companions and I were guests at the brewery on the second sound wave Sunday and spent a very nice evening there. The food is very tasty as is the beer. We'd love to come back. I can definitely recommend a visit to the brewery.

Highly recommended, there are large and small portions

I meet friends in Bad Neuenahr several times a month and we usually meet at the brewery for lunch and a light beer. In summer you can also sit on the beautiful terrace. The prices are a bit high but correspond to the quality of the food. The delicious beer is delicious, the service is attentive and friendly. Heart, what more do you want?

We were there at lunchtime and it was not very busy. Very large, nicely furnished. Service was friendly. I had the burger with goat cheese, there were too many ingredients for me. The goat cheese and caramelized onions were lost next to the tomato and cucumber. Sometimes less is more. The roasted potatoes were very tasty.

Delicious beer and food Typical brewery specialties from burgers to sauerbraten to schnitzel. Portions sufficient and everything tasty and fresh. The selection of beers (Brauhaus) is small but fine and you can order a sampler. The service was friendly, not that organized but everything was okay. Prices are completely reasonable.

Die Bedienung war schnell, aufmerksam und freundlich, die Getränke wurden schnell serviert. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar. Die Qualität und die Quantität des Essens konnte nicht überzeugen. Ich hatte ein Doppelschnitzel mit Zwiebeln, die musste man schon suchen um sie zu finden. Der kleine Klecks Zwiebeln auf den Schnitzeln war definitiv nicht ausreichend. Dazu eine kleine Portion Pommes und Mayonnaise aus der Tüte. Die Preise sind überzogen. Dieses Brauhaus werde ich definitiv nicht mehr aufsuchen.

We spontaneously went to Herbstbunt in Bad Neuenahr. The first thing we saw was the brewery and we wanted to try it out. We were greeted warmly and a table was quickly found for us. The hearty hop goulash from Weidenrund with fresh spaetzle and a salad was super tasty.. as was the spit roast with fried potatoes and salad. The goulash could have been a little warmer, that was borderline. We were very happy with the brewery during our visit and would definitely like to come back. Thank you very much 😊

Everything was absolutely great! Ambiance in a rustic brewery, nice, quick service, very tasty types of beer - something for every beer type, all 4 dishes, including very tender sauerbraten, tenderly pink pork fillet pan and the suckling pig, also soft, were perfect! The absolute highlight were the apricot dumplings as dessert. The large companies were also very satisfied.

We have eaten at the brewery several times, but now we find the prices to be completely excessive. Three spinach dumplings in tomato sauce with a small salad for €18.35 is a proud price! In addition, the menu for vegetarians is very clear. The offer used to be larger. The Brauhaus Remagen offers much more here. The dessert menu is also limited with only two choices (no more ice cream). Unfortunately, I didn't like the apricot dumplings for €10.80: they were too sweet and the temperature difference to the cold vanilla sauce in which they were served was too great. The service was very nice, attentive and quick, but we will not come back - due to the pricing policy there.

The brewery has been our absolute favorite place for many years. When we left the restaurant yesterday, we must have seen sheer horror on our faces. We have to agree with Janette 136 (last review) in every respect. What happened?? How can you suddenly deteriorate so much in all areas? Even the menu from internet to reality is bad.

We were on the way home from the Moselle and took a detour to the Ahr Valley. By chance we parked in front of the brewery and immediately noticed the beautiful ambience. We ordered "Grandma's Sauerbraten" twice, although the portion was smaller. Absolutely sufficient in quantity and very tasty. The service was also friendly.

We discovered the brewery while taking a walk and since it immediately made a cozy impression on us, we went in! The service was immediate and we were pleased with the friendliness and advice. The food was very tasty and everyone enjoyed the house beer! We will come back there again!
