Sehr leckere Vorspeisen, super Mittagssnack, waren sehr zufrieden.

Ein schöner Ort bei nettem Ambiente zu speisen

Ich war rundum zufrieden. Hatte eine Pizza mit Ziegenkäse, glasierten Walnüssen und Spinat. Die war wirklich sehr gut. Ganz toller Teig, schön knusprig. Schön war, dass zu Anfang ganz traditionell zum Brot ein Teller sowie Olivenöl und Balsamico gereicht werden und man sich selbst die Tunke zusammenstellen kann. Es war sehr heiß und da kam der frozen Aperol gerade richtig (der ausgesprochen lecker war!). Freundlicher Service, schöne Location, rundum gut.

Absolute Empfehlung für das Restaurant! Sehr schönes Ambiente. Sehr aufmerksame Mitarbeiter die immer alles im Auge haben, Top. Essen super, Pizzen sind sehr groß und geschmacklich echt super, was den Preis rechtfertigt. Bei den Salaten hätte ich mir noch etwas Tomaten, Gurken, Paprika gewünscht. Nur reiner Blattsalat mit dem gewünschten Toping finde ich überteuert.

Wir hatten dieses Restaurant als Caterer für unsere Hochzeit und sind einfach nur begeistert! Schon vor der Hochzeit waren wir dort vor Ort essen und hatten direkt ein super Gefühl. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker, die Qualität sehr hochwertig, das Ambiente total gemütlich und der Service herzlich und aufmerksam. Beim Catering auf unserer Hochzeit hat sich dieser Eindruck dann noch einmal absolut bestätigt. Das Essen war hervorragend und wir haben von unseren Gästen ausschließlich positives Feedback bekommen – viele haben sogar direkt gefragt, wo das Restaurant ist, weil sie so begeistert waren. Besonders berührt hat uns die Herzlichkeit und Fürsorge des Teams. Man hat gemerkt, dass hier mit ganz viel Liebe und Aufmerksamkeit gearbeitet wird. Es wurde an alles gedacht und wir haben uns rundum gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Eine unglaublich liebe Geste war außerdem, dass uns Essen eingepackt wurde, weil ich als Braut vor lauter Emotionen kaum etwas essen konnte. So konnte ich am nächsten Tag alles noch einmal in Ruhe genießen – und es war einfach unfassbar lecker! Vielen Dank für euren tollen Service und dafür, dass ihr unsere Hochzeit kulinarisch so besonders gemacht habt. Wir können euch von Herzen weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren am Sonntag zum ersten Mal mit meinem Mann dort und sind begeistert! Alles ist neu, modern und sehr sauber. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam, man hat sich direkt wohlgefühlt. Die Pizza war super lecker – frisch, knusprig und geschmacklich einfach top. Sehr empfehlenswert! Es gibt viele Italiener in jeder Stadt bei den meisten bekommt man ein gutes Essen und netten Service. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Dann gibt es Italiener die sich vom Service und Essen von den vielen anderen abheben. Da zu zählt definitiv das Sale e Pepe in Düsseldorf. Ich habe leider nur ein Foto von meinem Hautgang gemacht. Von Vorspeise bis Dessert es war alles super ! Auch Preisleistung stimmt. Ja Qualität hat seinen Preis aber der Stimmt !

Ein rundum gelungener Restaurantbesuch! Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und besonders die Pizza hat überzeugt – man schmeckt sofort, dass der Teig hausgemacht ist und mit hochwertigen, frischen Zutaten gearbeitet wird. Geschmacklich wirklich top! Auch das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Service: uns hat eine Dame mit kurzem Haar bedient, total freundlich, locker, aufmerksam und dabei sehr flott – genau so wünscht man sich das. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut fair. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen! Reservierung empfohlen. Parkplätze sind genügend in der Nähe, sonst kann man aber auch gut von der Tiefgarage (Lidl unten) aus hin laufen - 5 Min etwa.

Leider können wir diesmal nur drei statt fünf Sterne vergeben 🙁 Haben am Sonntag Pizzen bestellt. Normalerweise lieben wir alle den Teig, aber diesmal hat der Teig fast nach nichts geschmeckt, als wäre das Salz vergessen worden!? So so schade! So hat selbst der Teil mit Belag total ungewürzt geschmeckt. Darf nicht passieren! Hoffentlich schmecken sie beim nächsten Mal wieder!

Ein wunderbares Restaurant! Das Essen bei Sale e Pepe war hervorragend - frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders die italienischen Gerichte sind geschmacklich top. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist angenehm und gemütlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können es nur weiterempfeh-len!

Ich gehe gerne lokal essen und teste neues. Jetzt war ich im Sale e Pepe. Leider war es ein Debakel. Nette Bedienung, schönes Ambiente aber das Essen war furchtbar. Nudeln bei weitem zu bissfest, leicht kalt, wenig bis keine Sauce. Der Schinken in den Nudeln besand zu 90% aus Fett und das ganze hatte keinerlei Eigengeschmack, Bruschetta klein und geschmacklos. Vermutlich durch die dicken Teller war alles maximal Lauwarm. Das ganze war ein entäuschender Reinfall trotz aller guten Bewertungen, vieleicht ist die Pizza ja gut aber Pasta ? Nie wieder . Tut mir leid für die Bewertung aber Sie ist sehr ehrlich . Enttäuschnd , vor allem der vollkommende Mangel an Geschmack

Ein sehr schickes Restaurant mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Hatte vor Ort einen Bruschetta gegessen, der nicht nur sehr lecker war, sondern auch extrem gross 😅 Die Pizza war schön heiss und schön scharf nach meinem Wunsch zubereitet worden. Die Salami war dennoch für meinen Geschmack etwas zu dick geschnitten, etwas schwierig zu essen. Alles in allem war es sehr gut und komme definitiv wieder .

Wir waren ein paar Tage im großen Hotel gleich in der Nähe, Essen und Service waren dort aber leider nur "ok". Daher sind wir am nächsten Tag im Sale e Pepe gelandet, alles perfekt. Qualität von Essen und Wein, Portionsgröße, Personal...alles super, also klar 5 Sterne. Kein Wunder, dass man dort gleich weitere, zufriedene Gäste aus dem Hotel wiedergesehen hat.

Spontan zum Abendessen eingekehrt mit zwei Personen. Glück gehabt und Tisch bekommen. Man sollte reservieren. Pizza hatte einen tollen Teig, gut belegt und sehr lecker. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen, wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind. Im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen kein Touristennepp. Tische etwas eng und als voll war auch laut. Macht dem Geschmackserlebnis aber keinen Abbruch.

Unfortunately, this was rather disappointing. The food was generally good (the pizza and pasta we ordered), however, I had ordered a filet mignon medium-well. It arrived rare. After complaining, it was finally cooked medium-rare. Then, the mignon was returned to the table in individual pieces! Sorry, but that's absolutely unacceptable! I ate some of it because I was hungry and had run out of patience, but I've truly never experienced anything like it. I was charged full price. Not even a complimentary espresso. (Not that I was expecting one) but... I was really looking forward to it, but this is unprofessional.

Absolutely recommended! We got married in June 2025 at the beautiful Lenne Schlösschen in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler and were catered by Sale e Pepe – and what can we say? It was simply perfect! Even in the initial consultation, we received fantastic support. Gianfranco, with his extensive experience, advised us on planning the number of guests, the quantities, and the menu selection – all very professional, honest, and helpful. On the wedding day itself, everything was lovingly executed down to the last detail. The antipasti were beautifully presented on tiered stands – a real eye-catcher! The buffet was superbly organized, the service staff freshly carved the meat, and were always friendly, attentive, and warm. My personal highlight was the wheel of Parmesan – an absolute delight! Our guests were also thrilled: We received nothing but praise for the delicious food. Our wedding cake was perfectly incorporated into the dessert, and later, a midnight snack brought smiles to everyone's faces once again. You can tell that Sale e Pepe has a wealth of experience – we really benefited from that. We didn't have to worry about a thing and could fully enjoy our day. We would recommend Sale e Pepe without hesitation – thank you so much for the wonderful support on our big day!

The menu leaves nothing to be desired. The location and décor are superb. The outdoor seating is equipped with heaters. Even when the restaurant is fully booked, the staff serves drinks and food to our guests very quickly and with friendliness. Special praise goes to the lovely young lady (long black hair) who served guests outside using the sound waves. Even when certain guests were totally "annoying," which bothered us as guests, she remained calm and friendly. Truly a top job! We highly recommend a visit. See you next time 😀

A nice little place 🍕, with room for about 40 people. Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. Seating inside and outside. A patio heater outside. The food 😋 has something for everyone.

We went to the pizzeria yesterday and ordered two zabaglione desserts. Unfortunately, we didn't like the dessert at all – it was very alcoholic and completely different from what we're used to (usually more creamy or mousse-like). We politely explained this and asked if we could return it. Unfortunately, instead of showing understanding, the waitress reacted quite rudely and simply said, "But that's how it's done." She came back later and asked if we wanted a different dessert, but then she said we would still have to pay the full price for the zabaglione and would only get 50% off the next dessert, since it wasn't the restaurant's fault that we were used to dessert differently. We found this very disappointing. I expect more leniency and consideration from a restaurant.

I recently visited the Salt and Pepper Restaurant and was very impressed by the atmosphere and service. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming feel, perfect for families and couples. *Child-friendliness:* Salt and Pepper is very child-friendly! The staff were very attentive and friendly to our children and helped us understand the menu. There was also a children's menu with delicious and healthy options that our children loved. *The Food:* The food was simply delicious! We ordered a variety of dishes. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. *Conclusion:* I highly recommend the Salt and Pepper Restaurant, especially for families with children. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is friendly, and the food is delicious. We paid with a wallet. We didn't have the right change, so we put in two €50 bills. The waitress took the money and didn't return the change, pocketing the 45% tip. Are we serious? Addition: Thank you for the reply. Why didn't we mention it on the spot? You have to have the courage to do that. We simply didn't.

A truly fantastic pizzeria! We went to Sale e Pepe in Bad Neuenahr and were absolutely delighted. The pizzas are incredibly delicious, made in the Neapolitan style, and absolutely huge – so if you're not that hungry, it's better to ask for a smaller one. 😅 Great atmosphere, incredibly friendly service, just fantastic all around. We go there often. The pizzas are excellent! Pasta is a hit or miss. The last carbonara was drowning in cream, and there was a lot of burnt bacon drippings in it – it wasn't tasty. The ambiance is simply tasteful, well-kept, clean, and inviting you to relax and linger. That's how it should be. The waitress is a wonderful lady with short hair, very attentive, competent, and empathetic. Another with long hair, unfortunately, lacks much of that. We sat with empty glasses; she stood outside a lot or was nowhere to be seen, laughing at jokes at her guests' expense. At the next table, a guest in a wheelchair and a disabled child were laughed at instead of being helped. Not nice. Nevertheless, we'll be back and recommend the rest around it.

That's how it should be. Exactly! We were there with 10 people. 5 red wines, 5 white wines. ☝️😁. Perfectly explained, perfectly served. Everything was amazing. Starters for everyone on two tiered stands. Perfect. The ambiance and food were a definite 5 🌟. Service was a 6 🌟. Thank you so much for the fantastic Italian evening. Super friendly and attentive team, the tomato soup and the pizza are absolutely recommendable

A truly wonderful restaurant with attentive, very friendly staff who accompany you throughout the evening. The restaurant itself and the ambiance are fantastic. A highlight were the restrooms, both for men and women, which were equipped above and beyond the standard. For example, there were no paper towels, but proper and plenty of fresh ones were available. The ladies received a special treat just in case. So, all in all, it was very nice. The food, you can't complain. We just didn't like some of the dishes as much as we expected. The pizza was delicious, but the cheese overpowered the sauce and the dough. The carbonara tasted very creamy to me, but when I asked the waiter, they confirmed it was Parmesan. Not all Parmesan is created equal, and therefore tastes differ. So, all in all, a very pleasant and delicious evening. I can definitely recommend a visit.

Pizza is quite good. Quattro Stagione only has ham, salami, and mushrooms? The knives need sharpening. Small things, but they make a difference. Very loud place.

August 2025: We ordered two small appetizers for pickup, one pizza and one pasta. The food was ready quickly and at the announced time, and the service during pickup was very friendly. But what is truly unusual and worth highlighting is: Never before has a restaurant packed us some hot pasta water to make the spaghetti carbonara a little creamier if needed. Honestly, that's really great! They also included a small container of Parmesan cheese, what more could you ask for? Typical Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler value for money: not a bargain, but more than decent! The restaurant itself was packed to capacity on that Saturday evening, the service was super fast, and the guests all seemed very satisfied.

Beautiful new restaurant. We had a delicious Salmon pizza with large chunks of salmon and spinach. We also received a basket of bread with olive oil as a starter. The pizza, as well as the bread basket, was really good.

Great food, excellent service even late on the weekend. As expected, the carbonara was very tasty and sufficient for a late night hunger. If you're really hungry, we recommend a starter or a pizza (also very tasty).

In der Tat war es eine nette Begrüssung, der Service war tadellos. Dagegen waren die Speisen nur Mittelmass Scampi aglio e olio [ 15.50 ] wurden in einer Art Suppenschüssel gereicht, der Knoblauch- Sud war irgendwie ohne Bums und da die Scampi's im Sud geschwommen sind, warendiese natürlich nicht mehr richtig knackig gewesen. Das dazu gereichte Brot war auch nicht optimal gebacken. 6 von 10 Spaghetti Carbonara war die Carbonaracreme sehr trocken und ohne den entsprechenden Schmelz. Guanciale nur in homöopathischer Dosierung. Die Garnitur mit Parmesan Chips ist ein netter Gag. 5 von 10 Zudem war es im Restaurant sehr laut.

Indeed it was a nice welcome, the service was impeccable. On the other hand, the food was just mediocre Scampi aglio e olio [15.50] were served in a kind of soup bowl, the garlic broth was somehow without any bang and since the scampis were floating in the broth, they were of course no longer really crunchy. The bread served with it wasn't baked perfectly either. 6 out of 10 Spaghetti Carbonara, the carbonara cream was very dry and without the corresponding melt. Guanciale only in homeopathic dosage. 5 out of 10 It was also very loud in the restaurant.

...our dinner for two at "Sale e Pepe" on Saturday evening was not the birthday highlight we had hoped for, but rather a sobering meal without any shine... unfortunately! Starting with the reserved table right next to the entrance door, to the carelessly prepared starter, one of the two main courses at a sub-cooled temperature with not exactly appetizing and tasty follow-up, including sorry for the service staff, but also a somewhat tolerable reaction and discussion! Professionally it's a little different and for the price we would have expected something better! Too bad "sale without Pepe"...

Es gibt kaum ein Lokal im Ahrtal, dass so professionell und freundlich von der Bedienung her geführt wird, wie das Sale e Pepe in Bad Neuenahr! Und das sage ich als Ur-Ahrweiler (und wir geben ungern zu, dass in Bad Neuenahr etwas sehr gut ist). Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und empfehlenswert. Aus gutem Grund sollte man vorher reservieren.

Four of us were there yesterday and overall we had a lovely evening. It was busy, but the service was still very, very friendly. The food and drinks were super delicious. However, there was a difference in the quantities between the recommendations on the first page and the "normal" dishes. Our pasta dishes and salad were good portions, but the tortellini filled with chanterelles were rather sparse - almost not enough to fill you up for the price. The biggest drawback I would like to mention, however, was the waiting time for food. We had booked the time slot from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Our order wasn't taken until after 6 p.m. - including the drinks. These came quite quickly, but we waited 20 minutes for the starter. Our food didn't arrive until almost 50 minutes later (around 7:10 p.m.). That was a very long period of time. Above all, it almost felt rushed because after eating you didn't have much time to relax and have a drink and nibble on dessert in peace. We did that, but everything was pretty squashed in the last 20 minutes. Therefore there is a star deduction. This still needs some tweaking.
