Bunte Kuh in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler

We stopped there after a hike. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, very friendly, and quick. Reservations are a must on weekends, I think.

We've been to the Bunte Kuh several times with several families after the "Middle Ahr Wine Autumn" hike, and every time it was a wonderful experience. The food is excellent, the service friendly and attentive, and the prices fair. What was particularly great was that, even with a large group (16 people), all the dishes arrived at the same time. A very cozy restaurant...see you next year ;-)

We visited there for the first time since the flood on Wednesday. The renovations have made the rooms even brighter, more beautiful, and more comfortable. Schöne Location, aber das Essen passte nicht dazu. Es schmeckte wie ein Dosenessen von Maggi - ein Hirschragout für immerhin rund 24 Eur. (Künstlich schmeckende Soße, zähes Fleisch, Rotkohl wie von Iglo, ungenießbare klebrige Klöße - wahrscheinlich noch nicht einmal von Pfanni).. Auf diskret freundliche Kritik gegenüber der Bedienung gab es noch nicht einmal einen versöhnenden Degistif „aufs Haus „ - trotz großzügigen Trinkgelds. So geht man im Dienstleistungsbereich nicht mit Gästen um.

Gemütliche Ambiente, freundliche Mitarbeiter, Essen leider schlecht genießbar: Sossen künstlich ( Knorr?a), Fleisch zäh, Salat sauer, Knödel von Pfanni?

Die Schnitzel waren zäh. P.F. gut. Wildgulasch war ok. Die Gänsekeule war: na ja. Die Knödel schienen von Pfanni zu sein Das Rotkraut orangelastig. Da fehlte der Original-Geschmack. Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.Facit der Familie: Einmal reicht. Muss man nicht wiederholen. Schade eigentlich. Athmosphäre ist gut.

A nice excursion restaurant with standard dishes such as schnitzel dishes and salads as well as a daily menu. Service was very nice, attentive and not intrusive. There is a beautiful view of the rock faces and the Ahr. Parking spaces down on the street and at the house.

Inn located directly on the Ahr with good home cooking. Guest room and outdoor terrace with a beautiful view of the Ahr. Unfortunately it's still a construction site at the moment, but it will be in the Ahr Valley! Friendly service and normal prices.

It was nice there. The restaurant was newly renovated because it was affected by the flood. It is very cozy and beautifully decorated there. In summer there is an outdoor terrace with a view of the Ahr. Game dishes predominate on the menu, but you can also find the classic schnitzel on the menu. Wine is also a must here. The staff is open and friendly. We will come back. We are glad that this restaurant survived the flood and we were able to get to know it.

It is a great family business where you are always welcomed in a friendly manner. And finds an open ear. The food is great. You can tell that it is prepared with love. Without wasting many words. Very nice and cozy furnishings, the two dishes (schnitzel and wild boar) were very tasty and tender. Greetings to the kitchen and also to the guest room. It's nice that the colorful cow is back in color... . I would also have loved to take pictures. But it was too tasty and the plates were empty, sorry.

Make it so long finally open again. But there is still construction outside. The atmosphere is nice, but partly new... really sad that everything was destroyed in the flood! The counter looks really great. We drank a coffee, which unfortunately didn't taste good at all and the waitress wasn't trained. So unfortunately disappointing.

The game dishes were unparalleled: buttery, tasty meat, homemade sauce and potato dumplings. Even the coffee was delicious. I can absolutely recommend it and look forward to the next time

Wir waren mit 2 unserer großen Hunde letzten Sonntagabend da und wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Eine schöner großer Tisch wurde uns zugewiesen, sodaß wir uns entspannt dem gelungenen Essen und dem köstlichen Spätburgunder widmen konnten. Unbedingt nochmal: Die Hirschcreme-Suppe! Wir kommen sicher wieder öfter.

Nach der Flut wiedereröffnet, eine tolle Adresse. Wir waren zum Schlachtfest dort. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und hervorragendes Essen mit top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Auch ohne Schlachtfest auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. 👍🏼

Während des Weinfestes sind wir mit dem Fahrrad zur Bunten Kuh gefahren, um hier zu essen. Wir hatten ein Cordon Bleu und einen Sauerbraten. Beide Gerichte haben uns fantastisch geschmeckt. Dazu gab es noch einen passenden Wein vom Winzer Kriechel. Eine tolle Komposition!

Schlachtfest, gut und reichlich!

Hammer! Das Essen ist einfach super! Waren zwei mal zum Schlachtfest da und haben sowas von gut gegessen und das Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist passend. Die Bedienungen sind locker drauf und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant wurde nach der Flut liebevoll eingerichtet wo man sich draußen sowohl drinnen wohl fühlt. Da lohnen sich auf jeden Fall die knapp 100 km zu fahren.

Nach über 3 Jahren haben wir uns schon sehnsüchtig auf das Schlachtfest gefreut. Es gab mehrere Gerichte zur Auswahl und für jeden war etwas dabei. Gut bürgerliche ehrliche Küche mit einem ordentlichen Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Lecker war es und wir kommen wieder .

Wir haben das Restaurant gestern per Zufall entdeckt und besucht. Es hat seit dem Jahrestag der Flut, nach zwei Jahren vollständig saniert, wieder geöffnet. Das Interieur ist stimmig und der Service ausgezeichnet. Wie wir sahen, wird es wohl gerne von Einheimischen aufgesucht. Die Karte ist nicht zu umfangreich, deckt aber eine gute Bandbreite ab. Das Essen, Wild und Cordon Bleu, war handwerklich gut gelungen und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis gut. Der einzige "Nachteil" war die hohe Auslastung. Ich kann nur eine vorab Reservierung empfehlen. Trotzdem lief alles in einem guten Zeitfenster ab. Ich kann die Lokalität nur empfehlen!

Es ist wirklich schön das es die Bunte Kuh nach der Überschwemmung im Ahrtal wieder gibt. Das essen und die Bedienung ist und war immer schon hervorragend

Waren heute im Restaurant innen alles sehr schön geworden. Wir wollten Wiener Schnitzel mit einer Pfeffersauce. Man hat uns empfohlen das Steak mit Pfeffersauce zu nehmen, welches vier Euro teurer war. (Das Fleisch wäre das selbe wie beim Schnitzel, sagte man uns.) D.h. für zwei Personen acht Euro zusätzlich nach langem Hin und her hat man uns dann eine Pfeffersauce gebracht für 3,50 € extra Ketchup und Mayo wurden ebenfalls mit 3,50 € berechnet Essen insgesamt gut doch diese Begleiterscheinung finde ich heute nicht mehr zeitgemäß

Schönes renoviertes Lokal im Ahrtal . Meine Frau und ich haben dort Cordon Blue und Championsrahm Schnitzel mit Spätzle gegessen. Vor dem Hauptgericht wurde ein Salat gereicht ,das Essen war zügig am Tisch und uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
