A nice little wine bar with excellent homemade food, reasonable prices, and very friendly owners. It's a shame they're only partially open. We've known the wine bar for years and are regulars. The couple cares about their customers and always finds time for a few kind words. Hopefully, we can continue to enjoy pleasant hours in good company and good humor for a long time to come.

The three of us enjoyed a leisurely coffee. The cake was truly delicious, and the whole thing was very reasonably priced. We were served warmly, and we simply felt at home.

Ein Genuss-Abenteuer. Als Stammkunde kann ich sagen, dass das ganze schon beim hausgemachten Kartoffelsalat anfängt der alle Erwartungen übertroffen hat, das Rezept würde ich gerne mal kennenlernen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und geben immer 100% um ihre Gäste glücklich zu machen. Manchmal dauert es zwar etwas lange bis das Essen auf dem Tisch ist aber das ist wirklich nicht so schlimm, da das Essen brillant ist und auch immer in großen Portionen serviert wird. Auch der Kuchen ist immer toll. Ein Besuch ist definitiv zu empfehlen.

Oberhutstraße 6This was Ahr Vinum: A fine restaurant with a small menu, delicious dishes, and fine drinks. You should have time, as the dishes are always freshly prepared. Reservations are recommended. I wrote this 5 months ago. Today, August 6, 2020: tender roast beef with delicious fried potatoes and a generous, colorful salad tasted excellent, along with a delicious "Andechser" (Andechser cheese), an all-round harmonious experience. We're awarding it the last available star! Today, August 2025, we once again enjoyed delicious food and drinks. We had a fun and happy evening with the neighbors. On my birthday at the end of August, we had a lovely evening with the family with delicious food and tasty drinks. Unfortunately, Ahr Vinum has been closed since the beginning of October 2025, which we very much regret, as a highly valued restaurant in the city is no longer there.

Marienthaler Str. 60We stopped there after a hike. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, very friendly, and quick. Reservations are a must on weekends, I think.

Niederhutstr. 27aVery nice ambiance. A wonderful setup for a pleasant stay. But that's about it. Perfect conditions for a nice stay. The friendly waitress had put on her most grumpy face. Ordered coffee and a brownie. The coffee arrived first, the brownie 15 minutes later [€8]. The coffee roasted in-house in Daun needs improvement; it tasted bitter and burnt, with no body whatsoever. The brownie—I thought it was always gooey inside? I wanted to pay by card, OK. But the "please make x€" payment was declined because the amount was already entered into the terminal. Couldn't that be changed...? Nope... A real shame about the nice ambiance.

Marienthaler Str. 175 stars for bravely holding out after the flood disaster! The photo exhibition is very touching and absolutely worth seeing. I'll come back and support you again with a donation.
