We went there for All Saints Day dinner with two people. We were lucky to get a seat in the full restaurant without booking a table. The service was, as is unfortunately often the case these days, understaffed. The others who were there ran as hard as they could. STRONG. Friendliness was given. The food is typically Greek, very tasty. Of course the ouzo is also included in advance. Price performance for food and service very hospitable. Definitely recommended.

Walked in spontaneously and was lucky and got a table that wasn't reserved for about 2 hours. got hold of. The restaurant was very busy and almost all tables were reserved. The food was great and plentiful, so the main course was hardly manageable with a starter. The service was great, everyone was very friendly and always attentive! We will definitely come back.

The food here is very tasty! The selection is typically Greek, the portions are very large and tasty. Staff super nice and quick. Price/performance ok, pleasant atmosphere. If you like Greek food, this is the place for you.

We didn't actually want to come to you because of the review before us but we did, we were in several Greek restaurants but you were the best, friendly staff, food was great, we had gyros in Metaxa sauce, the meat was so tender, just good. If we come here again, we will be happy to visit you again

We went straight from the airport to Delphi in Ahrweiler on a Sunday after a holiday. We didn't have a reservation but we got a nice table for two people. The food was incredibly tasty. We'd love to come back.

It's been our favorite place for years, but this year was very disappointing. Prices have increased significantly if you look at the menu, OK we thought, after the flood and reconstruction it would be a support. Ordered and waited for food and was already looking forward to the home-baked bread. Unfortunately, ready-made bread was served as a starter. The next disappointment was when the grill plate came, everything was just slapped carelessly onto the plate, worse than some chip shops. Unfortunately it was the last time for us. The current service has become a whole €6 more expensive

Es war gut besucht und hatten Glück draussen noch einen Tisch zu bekommen. Essen war gut aber mir persönlich die Portionen zu groß, Pommes könnten besser gewürzt sein und besser fritiert...Preis Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt...

For us the best Greek restaurant. The stuffed grape leaves are highly recommended. Incredibly delicious! 😋 The grill plates are suitable for very hungry people and are hard to do on your own due to their size. The meat is always very good. The service is excellent, we always feel very comfortable!

We visited the restaurant because of the numerous and positive reviews. The menu is typically Greek, the prices are typically German. But we don't want to complain and we want to continue pursuing our plan to support the troubled Ahr Valley residents with our visit. There is a cozy guest room and a small outdoor seating area for warm days, right opposite the Ahrturm. Unfortunately, the owner differentiates between “friends” and “good friends”. While the supposedly local guests are greeted with an ouzo, the holiday couples look on. I then took the trouble to look inside on the way to the toilet and lo and behold: the two women who were greeted personally by the innkeeper had their glasses on the table. Now we don't really like going to the Greek restaurant because of the free drink, but because of the food. This was nothing to complain about, it was delicious. But when you have to watch the best Greek hospitality being bestowed on the distinguished visitor while you're watching the tube yourself, it has a certain aftertaste. How do I know that the other guests didn't specifically order the ouzo? Because it was carried back by the waiter. Now everyone can decide for themselves whether they want to visit the restaurant, we will spend our money somewhere else tomorrow. We wish all Ahrtal residents that they were able to or will recover well from the flood disaster.

Ahrweiler still has its charm. You can still see the problems caused by the flood, but all in all a lot of work has been done to build things up. It was also nice to see that there was a lot going on. We liked the authentic appearance of the restaurant from the outside, so we decided to stay. Since we really enjoy eating a good gyro, this was our choice. The service was initially quite nice. Drinks that we ordered in small (0.3l) “accidentally” arrived in large (0.4l). Unfortunately the salad with the dish was totally over salted. As others have written, nothing special, mostly iceberg. The fries were not salted at all. At least there was salt on the table. The meat... sorry... but that wasn't a good gyro for us. Tasted like a pan gyro with cheap seasoning. Anyone who thinks this is delicious has never eaten a good gyro. Even the tzatziki tasted like nothing. When I asked to give us mayonnaise and ketchup, exactly one sachet came to the table... great for two people 🙈 when you see the price (€17 per dish)... guys, that could be better. We were really annoyed about this meal and unfortunately it wasn't a nice end to a nice day.

We've been here twice now for dinner. Good service with nice and attentive staff. The dishes were very tasty; and generous in terms of portions.

This time we ate here again with friends. At first there was no table available and we had to wait briefly at a bar table. Drinks were brought to us straight away. After we were able to take a seat, we were served very friendly and attentively. The food was plentiful and very good.

My husband and I ate there in the evening...We sat outside first. When it got colder we hoped we could still sit inside because it was so full. It was taken care of immediately...The food is amazing...We've eaten Greek before but nowhere else was it as delicious as in Delphi...Never had such a delicious tzatziki. The portions are very large and you really feel full....The staff is extremely friendly and very polite and accommodating...All in all, a solid A🤩🤩🤩🤩

I drove regularly from Bonn to the Delphi for many, many years until 2020 - because of the absolutely fantastic appetizer platter. Went there again yesterday for the first time since Corona and the flood - and the record is no longer available. Deleted without replacement. And nothing comparable on the menu either. Then I can save myself the trip in the future and go to a Greek restaurant in Bonn... very, very sad.

My favorite dish, gyros with metaxa sauce, was way too greasy due to the mushrooms that didn't belong there. A pity.

The food was really tasty and the portions were very large, what more could you want? Price/performance is definitely right here. And there was also an ouzo on the house at the end - very nice. Unfortunately, I had eaten far too much food, so there was no room for dessert. Maybe next time. ;-)

First and last visit! I was really looking forward to visiting the restaurant because I like eating Greek and the restaurant had been recommended to me several times. Unfortunately, I have never been treated so badly! The drinks were only taken after 25 minutes and we wisely ordered the food straight away. We then had to wait a little over an hour for the food. All the guests who came after us had finished eating before ours was even at the table. Since we were sitting right in the aisle in front of the food counter and the waitress kept walking past us, she must have tried very hard to ignore us. The food was generally very good, only the lamb wasn't to my taste, but I don't blame anyone here, as with lamb it can often be traced back to the original meat and not to the cuisine. However, since I didn't eat it and didn't want to pack it, I was asked several times what was wrong with it, although my answer was simply dismissed. My companions wanted to pack their food and had to do this themselves, although we had enough time to observe the waitress packing food for other guests. The highlight, however, was that she still cleared away the fries and, when she intervened, put them down again with the comment "they don't taste good anymore" and the napkin she had put in them. She also couldn't resist the comment "I can show you how to pack it with a spoon." When paying, which we had to wait another 20 minutes for, it was simply assumed that the amount was correct. I don't know if it was a misunderstanding or audacity. In general, after our visit, I simply ask myself why we didn't feel it was worth serving ourselves normally from the first second, otherwise we would certainly have drunk more and eaten another dessert.

Here you can enjoy good food in a cozy atmosphere. Reopened after a long renovation and is still great.

Unfortunately, really really bad service for the second time in a row.... First I forgot the starter... Then appetizers were brought and served food somehow tried to keep warm in the kitchen.... Then served again 20 minutes later.... When asked whether it was the old food because it was inedible, they said of course it was the old food, but that's logical... Only when I said that the food for over €50 wasn't so logical, that it was old, did the boss come and have a new one made..... The first time we took away half the order was wrong and a large part was missing... The restaurant used to be quite good, but unfortunately it's no longer an option for us since it reopened...it's a shame

Super great food and very large portions. Service was nice and accommodating. Ambiance cozy and appealing. The extreme loudness is also disturbing due to children.

The food was very good, the portions were tasty and the service was very friendly. The only possible negative point would be that the portions are relatively large. We will definitely eat there again. Since the shop is busy, it is advisable to make a reservation if you want to eat there in a larger group.

We had dinner at Delphi on New Year's Eve with a group of 8 people. The service was excellent. Even though the Delphi was fully booked, the staff didn't show any stress. The food was super tasty. The portions are large. The atmosphere was cozy. We will be back.

Haben meinen 70 Geburtstag dort gefeiert. Essen und Getränke, alle sind satt geworden. War vor der Flut mein Stammrestaurant. Sind schon lange in Ahrweiler. Es freut mich, daß es wieder eröffnet wurde. Alles Gute , bleibt so wie Ihr seit und gute Zeiten in 2024.

Sehr guter Grieche, das essen war sehr gut und lecker. Die Bedienung Sehr aufmerksam, und freundlich, immer wieder gerne.

Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden, und das Essen war sehr lecker. Zudem ist das Delphi sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles in allem waren wir rundum sehr zufrieden.

Das Essen ist leider fad und irgendwie nichtssagend. Zu den meisten Gerichten werden einfach nur Pommes angeboten ,alles in allem wirklich nicht authentisch griechisch. Es gibt keinen krautsalat und die Gerichte Auswahl ist irgendwie nicht berauschend . Pluspunkt das Personal war nett

Unser Essen war lecker, aber auch nichts besonderes. Das Ambiente ist sehr kühl und es wird sehr schnell laut. Unsere 2 kleinen Hunde waren willkommen. Falls wir mal wieder in Ahrweiler sind wäre Delphi aber nicht unsere erste Wahl.

Ausgesprochen sehr freundlich und zuvorkommender Service . Ambiente ansprechend aber sehr sehr laut von der Akustik , gemütlich essen gehen war das leider nicht . Das Essen würde ich persönlich im guten Mittelfeld bewerten .

Hatte Scampi ohne Schale mit jungen Kartoffeln. War sehr lecker. Bitburger war auch lecker.🍻

Nach Wanderungen in Ahrweiler sind wir im Oktober 2020 und Mai 2021 im Restaurant Delphi eingekehrt. Schon vorab, der Weg lohnt, empfehlenswert einfach ein richtig gutes griechisches Restaurant. Der Erste Eindruck hat sich dann auch bei unserem zweiten Besuch wiederholt. Der Reihe nach. Oktober 2020: 1 x Lammkeulen Stifado mit Zwiebeln, Tomatenreis und Beilagen Salat. 1 x Kalbsleber mit gegrillten Zwiebeln, Tomatenreis und Beilagen Salat. Mai 2021: 1 x Forelle vom Grill, mit Reis, Zaziki und Beilagen Salat. 1 x Scampis vom Grill, mit Reis und Beilagen Salat. Hier wird man von Theofanis und seiner Frau (Inhaber) persönlich bedient. Sehr freundlich und umgänglich. Die Bestellungen werden schnell aufgenommen. Man muss ein wenig auf das Essen warten, aber es lohnt sich einfach. Geschmacklich richtig gut, die Zubereitung sieht sehr ansprechend aus und es ist relativ günstig. Fazit: Wer gerne griechisch Essen geht, der sollte unbedingt hier hin gehen. Ein absolutes Muss für jeden der griechisches Essen mag und für jeden der es nicht kennt, sollte sich einfach überraschen und überzeugen lassen.

Das Ambiente ist familiär. Die Speisekarte bietet eine gute Auswahl. Zusätzlich gibt es noch eine Tageskarte. Die Kellnerin war sehr nett und geduldig. Der Geschmack und Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke!
