One of the best ramen, I tried so far. I strongly recommend the N10 on the menu. The price are reasonable. The portion sizes are perfect and the service is friendly. The restaurant does not take reservations and you order and pay at the counter.

Tan tan noodles are the best in the universe. As authentic as it gets, you can't fail here. Super flavorful, fair price and the feeling of eating real Asian food.

Very good ramen soup. I'm actually rather skeptical about ramen soup; I once had one in Berlin that I didn't like. Completely different here! The soup was super tasty. I went there on 2 consecutive days, despite the high price. On the first day 1 soup, 1 teriyaki chicken, 2 water, on the second day 2 soups, 1 jasmine tea = a good 37 each. The location is central, the conditions are very well organized and fast, the cleanliness is okay.

The food is good as always, the junior manager is unfortunately very cheeky, arrogant and simply off-putting... the fact that you can't behave appropriately is sometimes a real mystery as to how people get through life like that. Be that as it may, I won't go there anymore. One less regular customer and I will write to the senior again directly that his son is really running the shop down with his arrogance.

Still one of the best Ramen Places in Düsseldorf, but be prepared: like in cheap japanese Ramen Snack Shops, you order outside and Pay your bill upon entering the restaurant before you sit at the table. Within the rough atmosphere to feed the waiting masses here you will hardly find the original atmosphere of eating like in Japan with lots of Japanese locals, the typical Japanese groups of office workers during lunch breaks or after work. This can be found in many other locations but NOT in the insta posted hip Ramen places in the area.

Never experienced such unfriendly staff! If you want to go out for a nice meal you should go somewhere else... eating out at 0815 isn't worth it

We have been regulars at Naniwa for decades. The price increase in recent years is a general trend in restaurants, including here at Naniwa. What we noticed, however, is that the amount of meat and seafood in the ramen soups is becoming less and less. On the last visit there were 3 thin slices of meat, you literally have to "search" for the seafood. The soups always taste good. It's an unpleasant feeling for customers to adjust the price but reduce the ingredients again.

Having lived and worked in Japan, I'm used to ramen shops with small, focused menus. So when I walked into this place and saw their extensive menu, I was skeptical. But wow, was I proven wrong! This was easily one of the best bowls of ramen I’ve had outside of Japan.

There's really nothing to complain about. The quality is impressive because there is a big queue in front of it, but it is definitely worth it.

Wow that Tenshin-Han was a dream. I got some information and wanted to try the restaurant. It was really tasty and there was also a good mix of ramen and rice dishes. The ramen was very tasty and the wontons that I specially ordered were great. The broth really sparkled. But the Tenshin-Han was my absolute highlight. I have never eaten a dish like this here in Germany before. The egg on the rice was perfect and there was lightly gelled soy sauce all around (we think). Will definitely come back and try more!

The food is okay. Unfortunately it's not very comfortable to sit there. You often have to wait longer for a table. Unfortunately there is also a lack of service and friendliness. The owner's son in particular is extremely arrogant and unfriendly. There are better ramen shops in the area!

Naniwa serves one of the best ramen bowls in Düsseldorf. The Tokusei Miso Ramen had a strong, spicy miso flavor. The noodles were soft enough, not as elastic as I would have liked, but that was to be expected from homemade noodles. I spent almost an hour waiting from the start of the line to get the ramen bowl at 4pm on a Friday. Pretty incredible, especially since not even half of the tables inside were occupied. I would blame the inefficient queuing system and low customer turnover. Maybe their tactic is to show passersby that there is always a line at their restaurant. And despite the many employees behind the kitchen, it took longer (compared to other ramen places in Düsseldorf) for the dishes to be served.

We went with friends and I don't know if it's always like this but they made us pay the entire pre-order and I only had to pay 1 for the entire group (there were 8 of us) for them to consider it. The food is good, the service is not so good, and the place is small. You can pay by card.

Checked out trip advisor for excellent Ramen in Düsseldorf and ended up in this great place. We were not disappointed. Even though we arrived shortly before closing, they very kindly served us. We were there for the first time today. The shop is small and clear. Likewise the outdoor area where we, 4 adults and 2 children, sat. The food was good. A meal had been forgotten when we ordered. Well, that can happen. However, when I went to the toilet, our waitress called me back quite rudely. I didn't even know what it was about at first. Until other guests tell me that I should go back. Our waitress suddenly didn't know or recognize me anymore. I had to be told that he couldn't remember everything and that I might steal something. And that even though we, with two small children, the only ones at the moment, had just eaten and paid. It was a very unpleasant moment. Above all, being treated like this as a guest and being met with incomprehension from the waitress and being lectured when you ask about it. If you as an employee cannot remember your guests, something is going wrong. This was the last visit for us.

The best ramen I know! The restaurant is really beautiful and authentically decorated. I ate there twice. The broth is incredibly strong and flavorful. The Chashu fried perfectly and so good! You can tell that the pasta is homemade and the starters are also great. There's a cool bar in the back and you can sit at the counter right in front of the kitchen. In my experience, during the week you get a place straight away, but on the weekend you may have to wait a good half hour to an hour. But I can assure you: it's worth the wait!

Ate wonderful Japanese Tantan noodle soup (ramen) again. Asked for extra noodle and an egg, then my stomach is full. Went early in the afternoon so we didn't have to wait in line too long. We come here very often. Almost every time we come to Düsseldorf.

This used to be a wonderful place, but unfortunately a short while ago the ingredients and chefs were changed. Now it is below average ramen only. On our dishes the noodles were half cooked and the broth is from the packaging, the Shoshu totally salty and a lot of MSG in the food. No more Japanese chefs to be seen anywhere. Sad story. Also only pre-paid available.

Systematic ramen place nearby our hotel. Place your order while you are waiting, pay them before you seat, then they will bring your food. The shoyu ramen is tasty. The dandan ramen is spicy as expected. The Fried rice is big portion.

We had a very pleasant diner here in a relaxed atmosphere. We ordered sushi, tuna tartar and miso soup. Everything was delicious and was brought swiftly to our table. Staff was very friendly. I liked that they told us that we could take our time and did not have to rush out, even after we finished our food. Would definitely go back!

Here you can really get the best ramen in all of Düsseldorf with a real Japanese flair. I was always skeptical about whether noodle soup could fill me up. Now I'm annoyed that I didn't try ramen before 🙆🏽‍♂️

I don't understand why there are sometimes long queues here. The dishes are neither exceptionally tasty nor special (no different from others). Maybe it's because the price is slightly cheaper? Fast food is very important here! We decided to visit the restaurant on a Friday afternoon. Luckily the queue was manageable. Since there were five of us, one guest was preferred to us, which wasn't a problem. We were surprised that our order was already taken while we were in line. Admittedly, we felt very surprised by this. At such places you always get the card in your hand beforehand. But we hadn't ordered anywhere else in line. When we got inside we were hit hard. “Please pay in advance and together.” The final price was already displayed on the card reader. No time for discussion, one of us had to pay. In these two places we would have liked this type of ordering and paying to be mentioned online or at least on site. We also had no opportunity to adjust our order or reorder anything. IMPORTANT: If you order a small "rice dish", you will not receive any rice (unlike the large dish). So it's time to sip the sauce. Otherwise the food was perfectly fine.

Noodles and soups on one side of the street, sushi on the other... both buzzing with queues forming out the door. We waited outside with a menu in hand, and when it came to be our turn we placed and paid for our order and were guided to a small table near the front of the restaurant. The gyoza and teriyaki chicken starters were excellent, but it was the tori yakisoba that really served as the highlight. Similarly, the wantan ramen was deliciously salty and moreish. This is a no frills affair but the food is excellent and the atmosphere makes the meal.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get food poisoning. Meat that is cooked/fried far too short, gyozas and broths that consist of 70% fat. I recommend giving the restaurant a wide berth.

We have been visiting NaNiWa for well over 20 years. The base of the soups, a rich broth, was always prepared at the lecture. The cuisine was so authentically Japanese that the kitchen team of a former Japanese restaurant, including the owner, came here to eat on their day off. Recent experiences at NaNiWa show that this high quality standard has been abandoned. When the service asked why the soup tasted like dishwater and bland, they admitted that there were too many guests. Consequently, the existing broth was stretched to the most extreme. When asked by friends, this sad assessment is confirmed. Second attempt: 02/19/19 The Buta Sara and the Buta Kimchi were very good. The first dish tastes mildly salty, the second dish has a strong, spicy flavor. The Chashu Stamina (Sutamina) we ordered was heavily seasoned with garlic and chilli to cover up the missing umami. It's a shame, the broth was loose and stretched in the base again. November 26, 2023 Back for good After years of abstinence, one can only acknowledge with full recognition that one has learned from previous mistakes and that the soups (Chashu Stamina and Chashu Tokusei Miso) taste richer again. The 5-minute egg used to cost nothing here, which is of course not up to date. It cost 1 EUR for a while and is now estimated at 2.30 EUR. Demeter egg? Well, who knows? I am glad to have such a hot soup instead of the easy-to-slurp temperature in Europe. It contained a of vegetables too. The restaurant has been expanded and the waiting time has been shortened.

One of the best places in the area for ramen! The place is not very big so be ready to make a queue (seats are provided outside for waiting, thankfully). Kid's stroller will fit in a bit difficult, but still okey. The menu is appropriately short, and prices are reasonable, although we really disliked that you order and pay as soon as you enter the restaurant, before even being seated. If you hate the rush and want to take your time for lunch Naniwa may not be for you (as soon as you're done with your meal they'll "invite" you to leave). Still, the ramen is so good that it's worth the painful waiting time and rush.

The food is delicious. The portions are a bit small in my opinion. Waiting outside the shop for 20 minutes, having to place the order and pay the bill right behind the door, without knowing whether you will be satisfied with the food - was strange to me. Apparently the store is well attended, so that's probably a leap of faith. Have been here multiple times. I am always impressed at how efficient and organized this restaurant is. There is a hostess who takes care of the line that is quite long especially at peak hours. Food-wise, no criticism, just delicious - if you are looking for a high quality ramen or noodle dish, there is plenty of choice for nearly every taste! It is located in the Japanese corner of Dusseldorf and among many other Japanese restaurants. Don’t forget to add your lava egg on top 😜

Wat kun je hier heerlijk eten. De noodles waren heerlijk, de soup ook. De porties waren wel heel groot, maar je kon het restant meenemen. Het was er zo druk dat we 30 minuten buiten in de rij hebben staan wachten op een dinsdag. Wel jammer dat de hoofdgerechten niet allemaal tegelijk kwamen.
