I've spent a great time and the food was amazing!

We eat here very often It shouldn't be seen as a conventional restaurant, but rather as a bistro. The Japanese food is very good. Ramen (noodle soup), starters (wakame and gyoza etc.) are sensationally good. I rarely give 5 stars. Here they are absolutely justified.

The ramen with a sesame base is excellent, spicy but not excessively. The chicken teryaki that I had as a starter was really a treat. THANKS.

Stamina Ramen with Kimchi No matter when you eat it, it’s spicy, refreshing, and so delicious. I added vegetables (free) and my husband added meat. The grilled dumplings were also very delicious. The line is always long When the weather is nice and there are outdoor tables It decreases quickly

We were there for lunch, had 2 type of ramen, rice with omelette and fried salmon.. quality of the food is very good, even my picky eater's daughter didn't say anything and tried all.. ^^ Must visit place if you are in Düsseldorf..

I have been a guest at Naniwa for 30 years, I love this Japanese restaurant and its noodle soups. It's nice to see that the main chef, who trained at Naniwa years ago, is now passing on his knowledge to a young chef 😉. In this way, the quality of the soups traditionally lives on.

Everything great. Despite the long queue outside, you could get in pretty quickly. The food was a very good size and delicious! The price is also absolutely right. Totally recommended!

I was very lucky to get a seat so quickly here. The first two times I walked by, there was an immense lineup of people waiting for a seat in the cozy and aromatic restaurant. During my wait (during Sunday lunchtime), one of the waitresses came by with menus while my friends and I ordered, setting us up for a quicker experience inside (effective and easier on both parties). Once inside, I was rewarded with beautiful smells, a clean and crisp interior, and very welcoming staff. I was placed at the bar that overlooked the chefs, who were so busy, yet very clean and precise. Finally, being able to enjoy Naniwa, I rewarded myself with a nice big order; miso soup, fried dumplings, and a big order of kimchi ramen. It was all very phenomenal and wonderfully made. I've tried out a few noodlehouses from all over Europe and North America, and I can honestly say this is probably my favourite. Rich broth, excellent chewy noodles, melting pork, supple gyoza, and the perfect beer to go with it all. I look forward to coming back. Itadakimasu.

One of the best Japanese restaurants! All the meals were so delicious! I have to say that the staff was so polite and friendly, and they were always smiling! The prices are good! I really recommend it!!!!

Our No.1 Go-To Ramen Restaurant when we are in Düsseldorf. Of all the ramen restaurants, we still like it here the best. Very tasty spicy miso broth with chashu (could be a little more tender, but that's complaining at a high level) and the perfect lava egg. Friendly staff and quick service. The queue can vary depending on the volume, so be patient. :)

Zugegeben, ich bin nicht so der große Ramen Spezialist, aber: Geschmack eher fade, dafür aber eine geballte Ladung Salz, Gemüse zerkocht, schwamm in einer sämigen Art Bratensauce... Vorkasse, nur Kartenzahlung...mir erschloss sich nicht so ganz, warum am Eingang eine so lange Schlange war...

Ordered noodles with chicken, there were 4 small pieces of chicken in it and hardly any vegetables. For €15 I think that is too little. Friendly staff.

A ramen restaurant run by a Japanese owner that is popular with locals. There were long lines both during the day and at night, but since I was alone, I was able to get through to the counter in about 5 minutes. Only prepaid card payments were accepted. The flavor is a special chashu miso recommended by locals. The flavor was quite strong so I left the soup behind. Is the pork shoulder roast? A little hard. I think the noodles here are still delicious. Overall, this ramen is aimed at locals.

In the Naniwa restaurant, the ramen soup almost tastes like it does in Japan - for a restaurant outside of Japan, it's really good. Enjoyed the food (ramen soup) and will definitely come back again. The service was also great - very friendly and attentive. I would be happy to make a recommendation!

Not a day goes by without a queue in front of Naniwa, but rightly so. Very fresh and tasty dishes. The store is located in the middle of the Asian community and is definitely worth a visit.

Great ramens (I recommend tantan or tokusei). But the service is awful (just have a closer look when you are there - the guy at the reception (the SON of the owner of course, otherwise he would be already fired) is laughing behind the back about every single customer), then we had this episode - we arrived and asked the other waiter where we can sit, then sat where he said. The entrance guy asked us to leave to restaurant, since we “didn’t say hi to him at the entrance”. And “the waiter doesn’t have responsibility to tell you where you sit”. So he didn’t ask us to go to another table or wait a bit, he said “you shall LEAVE”. He told us we create problems with the fact we came there. Just because there was a miscommunication and misunderstanding about where we can sit between this entrance guy and the waiter - he was extremely rude to us and asked as to leave. What??? What kind of restaurant it is?? Honestly really good food and I’m very angry we cannot continue to go here anymore because of this person.

I went there alone and had the Tan Tan Men. It was superb!

I was here for the first time with my family on September 13th, 2024. The woman at the checkout was quite rude. We ordered 3 bottles of cola and lunch. I had to take my medication after eating and I briefly drank the water I brought in my backpack. This woman at the checkout warned me that I wasn't allowed to drink water in the restaurant. That was only 2 sips for my medication. To be honest, I found this relationship quite strange. I have no respect for this restaurant and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My favorite ramen place in whole Düsseldorf!! After trying some of the so-called best ramen spots in Düsseldorf I truly have to admit Naniwa is superior not only in variety of dishes and flavor but also service is spectacular. No will to make the line? We'll, you'll see that at last it's totally worth it. My suggestions are: gebratene gyoza, stamina ramen, any miso ramen and the dish with rice and egg on top, simple but yet delicious. If I had to improve something in here would be a more varied playlist to set the atmosphere up.

I really liked it, it was delicious without any frills. If you want something new, interesting and unusual with lots of ingredients and various additives, you won’t find it here. I would say an ordinary tasty soup. I know many people like this place, so I can recommend it once. But you won’t try anything new here. 😘🩷

The guy at the reception - whatever his job is, he is very mean and disrespectful. This person and whole place is not oriented to clients at all. If you want anyone to be mean to you, this place is definitely for you. I visited the place with my friends, because the take out food here is very tasty. While joining my friends, the waiter told me to sit on the bench with my friends. Then this disrespectful receptionist waiter literally told me to get out of the restaurant right now, and leave the place immediately, as he ‘did not let me sit’.

Simply delicious. I can hardly imagine that you can get better ramen anywhere else. I had the N7 (Chanpon) with extra chasu and apart from the chasu it also had prawns and squid and all kinds of vegetables and it came to the table really hot. I particularly liked the red ginger which gave the whole thing a very special touch. When I compare all the great ramen shops in Düsseldorf, Naniwa is probably my favorite.

Went to Na Ni Wa for the first time on Sunday and was really impressed with the Ramen Stamina. It was incredibly delicious and I can only recommend it to anyone who likes Japanese. Full 5 stars for everything!

Down-to-earth ramen with large portions. Unfortunately, some of the ramen was much too salty

One of the best ramen, I tried so far. I strongly recommend the N10 on the menu. The price are reasonable. The portion sizes are perfect and the service is friendly. The restaurant does not take reservations and you order and pay at the counter.

Very good ramen soup. I'm actually rather skeptical about ramen soup; I once had one in Berlin that I didn't like. Completely different here! The soup was super tasty. I went there on 2 consecutive days, despite the high price. On the first day 1 soup, 1 teriyaki chicken, 2 water, on the second day 2 soups, 1 jasmine tea = a good 37 each. The location is central, the conditions are very well organized and fast, the cleanliness is okay.

Tan tan noodles are the best in the universe. As authentic as it gets, you can't fail here. Super flavorful, fair price and the feeling of eating real Asian food.

The food is good as always, the junior manager is unfortunately very cheeky, arrogant and simply off-putting... the fact that you can't behave appropriately is sometimes a real mystery as to how people get through life like that. Be that as it may, I won't go there anymore. One less regular customer and I will write to the senior again directly that his son is really running the shop down with his arrogance.

Still one of the best Ramen Places in Düsseldorf, but be prepared: like in cheap japanese Ramen Snack Shops, you order outside and Pay your bill upon entering the restaurant before you sit at the table. Within the rough atmosphere to feed the waiting masses here you will hardly find the original atmosphere of eating like in Japan with lots of Japanese locals, the typical Japanese groups of office workers during lunch breaks or after work. This can be found in many other locations but NOT in the insta posted hip Ramen places in the area.

Never experienced such unfriendly staff! If you want to go out for a nice meal you should go somewhere else... eating out at 0815 isn't worth it

Having lived and worked in Japan, I'm used to ramen shops with small, focused menus. So when I walked into this place and saw their extensive menu, I was skeptical. But wow, was I proven wrong! This was easily one of the best bowls of ramen I’ve had outside of Japan.

We have been regulars at Naniwa for decades. The price increase in recent years is a general trend in restaurants, including here at Naniwa. What we noticed, however, is that the amount of meat and seafood in the ramen soups is becoming less and less. On the last visit there were 3 thin slices of meat, you literally have to "search" for the seafood. The soups always taste good. It's an unpleasant feeling for customers to adjust the price but reduce the ingredients again.

Can't say much about the restaurant. Nice staff. It took a while to wait but it was worth it. I would recommend. Food is great, staff work happily.

There's really nothing to complain about. The quality is impressive because there is a big queue in front of it, but it is definitely worth it.

Tokusei Musik (N9) is a very powerful broth and with the 🌶️ oil it has a mild spiciness

Wow that Tenshin-Han was a dream. I got some information and wanted to try the restaurant. It was really tasty and there was also a good mix of ramen and rice dishes. The ramen was very tasty and the wontons that I specially ordered were great. The broth really sparkled. But the Tenshin-Han was my absolute highlight. I have never eaten a dish like this here in Germany before. The egg on the rice was perfect and there was lightly gelled soy sauce all around (we think). Will definitely come back and try more!

Been there again after a long time and the Stamina is still my favorite. But now €14.90 for a soup is pretty steep.

The food is okay. Unfortunately it's not very comfortable to sit there. You often have to wait longer for a table. Unfortunately there is also a lack of service and friendliness. The owner's son in particular is extremely arrogant and unfriendly. There are better ramen shops in the area!

Naniwa serves one of the best ramen bowls in Düsseldorf. The Tokusei Miso Ramen had a strong, spicy miso flavor. The noodles were soft enough, not as elastic as I would have liked, but that was to be expected from homemade noodles. I spent almost an hour waiting from the start of the line to get the ramen bowl at 4pm on a Friday. Pretty incredible, especially since not even half of the tables inside were occupied. I would blame the inefficient queuing system and low customer turnover. Maybe their tactic is to show passersby that there is always a line at their restaurant. And despite the many employees behind the kitchen, it took longer (compared to other ramen places in Düsseldorf) for the dishes to be served.

We went with friends and I don't know if it's always like this but they made us pay the entire pre-order and I only had to pay 1 for the entire group (there were 8 of us) for them to consider it. The food is good, the service is not so good, and the place is small. You can pay by card.

Checked out trip advisor for excellent Ramen in Düsseldorf and ended up in this great place. We were not disappointed. Even though we arrived shortly before closing, they very kindly served us. We were there for the first time today. The shop is small and clear. Likewise the outdoor area where we, 4 adults and 2 children, sat. The food was good. A meal had been forgotten when we ordered. Well, that can happen. However, when I went to the toilet, our waitress called me back quite rudely. I didn't even know what it was about at first. Until other guests tell me that I should go back. Our waitress suddenly didn't know or recognize me anymore. I had to be told that he couldn't remember everything and that I might steal something. And that even though we, with two small children, the only ones at the moment, had just eaten and paid. It was a very unpleasant moment. Above all, being treated like this as a guest and being met with incomprehension from the waitress and being lectured when you ask about it. If you as an employee cannot remember your guests, something is going wrong. This was the last visit for us.

The best ramen I know! The restaurant is really beautiful and authentically decorated. I ate there twice. The broth is incredibly strong and flavorful. The Chashu fried perfectly and so good! You can tell that the pasta is homemade and the starters are also great. There's a cool bar in the back and you can sit at the counter right in front of the kitchen. In my experience, during the week you get a place straight away, but on the weekend you may have to wait a good half hour to an hour. But I can assure you: it's worth the wait!

Ate wonderful Japanese Tantan noodle soup (ramen) again. Asked for extra noodle and an egg, then my stomach is full. Went early in the afternoon so we didn't have to wait in line too long. We come here very often. Almost every time we come to Düsseldorf.

Systematic ramen place nearby our hotel. Place your order while you are waiting, pay them before you seat, then they will bring your food. The shoyu ramen is tasty. The dandan ramen is spicy as expected. The Fried rice is big portion.

This used to be a wonderful place, but unfortunately a short while ago the ingredients and chefs were changed. Now it is below average ramen only. On our dishes the noodles were half cooked and the broth is from the packaging, the Shoshu totally salty and a lot of MSG in the food. No more Japanese chefs to be seen anywhere. Sad story. Also only pre-paid available.

We had a very pleasant diner here in a relaxed atmosphere. We ordered sushi, tuna tartar and miso soup. Everything was delicious and was brought swiftly to our table. Staff was very friendly. I liked that they told us that we could take our time and did not have to rush out, even after we finished our food. Would definitely go back!

Here you can really get the best ramen in all of Düsseldorf with a real Japanese flair. I was always skeptical about whether noodle soup could fill me up. Now I'm annoyed that I didn't try ramen before 🙆🏽‍♂️
