Nablsy in Leer (Ostfriesland)

We went there by chance while visiting the city and saw that this restaurant was well-reviewed. We went in at 12:10 p.m. and were offered a table. The menu wasn't brought out until 5 minutes later, even though we were the only customers. The waiters weren't in a hurry. We ordered fish & chips and a burger. The fish was very good, the burger was okay. However, the potatoes were covered in a layer of salt. It was impossible to eat them. During the meal, the waiter didn't come to ask us if everything was okay or not. At the end of the meal, we commented that the potatoes were too salty, and the waiter acted as if he hadn't waited for anything. To summarize, the meal was good, but too salty. The waiter didn't seem to want to do well or succeed. It was as if he didn't care at all.

The food is okay. The taste is nothing special. The atmosphere is very nice, but very loud. Unfortunately, the seating is too close together. In a big city with more open-minded people, that's probably a great thing, but here in this stuffy little town, you want more distance from these people. 😅🤪 All in all, okay, but I wouldn't go back again.

We ate here twice. It was excellent both times. The meat was very tender and the food was very well seasoned. The service was really good. The young waitress remembered our orders, and the food came very quickly and was freshly prepared. All in all, two wonderful evenings and a definite recommendation from me.

We were there for breakfast on June 6th with 13 people. The majority of our guests were senior citizens. The service team went to great lengths to serve us an excellent breakfast at our table. It was unbelievable what was served there. We were overwhelmed. Every guest had no problem reaching the many delicacies. Nothing, absolutely nothing, was missing for the perfect 5* breakfast. Thank you for the wonderful morning and the attentive service.

If you really love good sushi, you should definitely give this restaurant a chance! The quality and freshness of the food is excellent – ​​every single piece is a delight. The platter for two people, which is prepared with great attention to detail, is particularly recommended. The ambience is rather simple and could be a bit more cozy, and the staff doesn't always seem particularly welcoming - but the taste of the food definitely makes up for that. What matters most to me is what's on the plate, and this restaurant impresses across the board. Conclusion: If you value excellent sushi and can accept small compromises in service, this is the place for you! We'll definitely be back.
