Hier kann man gut Essen,schönen Tag verbringen

Wer hier zum Mittagessen herkommt, Obacht. Uns hat es nicht geschmeckt. Fleischqualität beim Wiener war unterdurchschnittlich und nicht gut gebraten (frittiert?). Die Nudelpfanne war tatsächlich nicht genießbar. Die Sauce ist viel zu mächtig und hat einen nicht definierbaren Geschmack. Dazu kommend mit 16-17€ pro Gericht auch kein Schnapper. Preis / Leistung stimmt auf alle Fälle nicht. Kuchen/Kaffe sahen ganz ansprechend aus. Beim nächsten Mal dann lieber dort zugreifen.

Wir hatten eine schöne Fahrradtour. Essen wollten wir hier. Hatten es auch angemeldet und uns wurde zugesagt daß die Küche bis 18.00 Uhr auf hat. Waren um 16.30 Uhr da, aber haben kein Essen mehr bekommen. Die Küche hatte um 16.00 Uhr geschlossen. Sehr sehr traurig......das ist kein einziger Stern wert.

Immer wieder toll diesen Flugplatz auch für einen Tankstop anzufliegen.

Team Mondorf hat ein weiteres, neues Café-Restaurant. Direkt am idyllisch gelegenen kleinen Flugplatz Leer-Nüttermoor. Inneneinrichtung modern stylish, was bei dem Gebäude eben rauszuholen war. Wir waren mit einer kleinen Gruppe zum Spargelbüfett dort. So wie ich es gewohnt bin, war auch dieses Büfett liebevoll angerichtet und war in allen Teilen super lecker. Es gab Salate, die ich gar nicht kannte, mit Pflücksalat, Erdbeeren, Orangen und einer Vinaigrette. Zum niederknien lecker.....ich konnte von allem gar nicht so viel essen, wie es geschmeckt hat. Vor allem war von allem reichlich da. Der Service super freundlich, aufmerksam und mit mir zu Beginn geduldig ( ich habe etwas genervt, weil ich Hunger hatte 😇). Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Abend

Osterbuffet 2026: Zuviel Gäste in dem Restaurant, alles sehr eng. Das Essen wurde in Chafings serviert. Die Auswahl war insgesamt sehr klein gehalten. Es hat sehr lange gedauert bis die Chafings wieder aufgefüllt wurden, wenn überhaupt. Als Hauptspeise gab es Rouladen - zu wenig. Der Nachtisch reichte auch nicht für alle Gäste. Für 30 Euro kann man mehr erwarten. Der Betreiber muss noch viel lernen und muss sich nicht wundern wenn die Gäste weg bleiben.

- überschaubares Buffet - vieles wurde nicht nachgelegt - mäßiger Geschmack - trotz Angabe auf Speisekarte bis auf trockenen Reis, Pommes, Kartoffeln, Rotkohl und Buttergemüse keine vegetarischen Gerichte / Alternativen - keine vegetarischen Saucen, keine Mayonnaise oder Ketchup für die Kinder - Nachtisch begrenzt und auf Nachfrage die patzige Antwort "Wenn da nichts mehr steht, gibt es auch nichts mehr" inklusive weinendes, enttäuschtes Kind, da wir "zu spät" waren, um noch Nachtisch zu bekommen - unfreundliches, nicht-kundenorientiertes Servicepersonal, das einem als Kunde die Schuld zuschiebt, dass man in der Reservierung hätte angeben müssen, dass jemand vegetarisch isst (man beachte, dass auf dem Flyer mit "vegetarisches" geworben wurde und im Kontaktformular nirgendwo stand, dass man diese Information noch mal explizit angeben sollte) - nach 20-30 Minuten Buffet wie leer gefegt und nur wenig bis gar nicht nachgelegt - zu einem unverschämten Preis von knapp 30 Euro pro Person Eine Verschlechterung ist in unseren Augen kaum möglich.

Leider hat das sogenannte „Osterbuffet“ am Ostersonntag eigentlich noch nicht einmal einen Stern verdient. Um 12.30 Uhr war Beginn, bereits gegen 13 Uhr waren viele der Speisen leer und es wurde auch nichts mehr nachgefüllt. In der Beschreibung des Buffet stand u.a. „Vegetarisches“, davon war aber vor Ort nichts zu finden. Auf Nachfrage beim Personal wurde uns geantwortet, es gäbe Kartoffeln, Kartoffelgratin (gab es bereits nach gut 20 Minuten nicht mehr und wurde auch nicht nachserviert), Rotkohl und Gemüse. Als Soße könne man ja die Sauce vom Fleisch nehmen (finde den Fehler!) Auf unsere Reklamation hin meinte man, man hätte bei der Reservierung einen Vegetarier gesondert anmelden müssen. Da frage ich mich, wieso man in der Buffetbeschreibung „vegetarisches“ schreibt, zumal man auf der Internetseite nirgendwo einen Hinweis findet, dass sich ein Vegetarier extra als solcher anmelden muss. Das nenne ich mal einen Service. Meine Tochter hat dann ein paar Salzkartoffeln mit Erbsen und Möhren essen können. Dafür wurde dann der Preis von 29,90 € für das „vegetarische Essen“, welches ja gar nicht gab, auf 22,00 € reduziert. Ein teures vegetarisches Essen, dass aus trockenen Kartoffeln mit etwas Gemüse bestand. Die Freude auf ein anschließendes Dessert wurde dann dadurch getrübt, dass die Schüsseln mit dem Nachtisch bereits um 13.30 Uhr leer waren und uns auf Nachfrage lapidar gesagt wurde, es wird nichts mehr aufgefüllt. Für meine 4-jährige Enkelin brach daraufhin eine Welt zusammen. Zusammengefasst haben wir knapp 100,00 € für ein Buffet für 3 Personen bezahlt, das zum einen viel zu wenig für so viele Gäste war. Da kann man woanders besser für essen. Für uns war es das erste Mal, dass wir dort eingekehrt sind, seit der Neueröffnung am 01.03.2026 unter neuer Leitung, eine Wiederholung wird es nicht geben.

Nach dem Wechsel auf Mondorf hatten wir uns anlässlich eines runden Geburtstages auf das schöne Mittagsbuffet im Flugplatz-Restaurant gefreut. Enttäuschung pur. Es wurden längst nicht die Speisen dargeboten, mit denen Werbung gemacht worden war. Es fehlten: Rinderrouladen, Scampi-Spieße, Zwiebelbraten, vegetarische Speise, Kartoffelgratin, Pommes und sogar so eine einfache Sache wie Reis. Bei Ansprache einer Bedienung wurde erst stumpf gelogen, dass sich das Angebot nur auf Ostersonntag und Ostermontag beziehen würde. Meine Schwester hatte zum Glück ein Screenshot dabei, wo eindeutig auch Karfreitag draufstand. Meine Eltern waren vier Wochen zuvor extra persönlich vor Ort gewesen, um den Tisch zu reservieren. Nichtmal den Wunschtisch hatte man eingehalten. Ferner war für sechs Personen auch sehr merkwürdig eingedeckt, an der einen Tischseite zwei Personen, an der anderen vier. Es war eindeutig zu erkennen und ich hatte vorher auch nochmal Kontakt aufgenommen, weil eigentlich der Tisch von mir dekoriert werden sollte (was wegen der geringen Zeitspanne zwischen Frühstück und Mittag schlecht durchführbar war), dass es sich um einen runden Geburtstag handelte. Eigentlich gebietet es der Anstand, dass man auch als Bedienung eben gratuliert. Ganz komische Stimmung herrschte dort. Wenn man die Bedingungen des Buffets nicht hätte einhalten können, hätte man das am ANFANG kommunizieren können und einem die Wahl lassen können, dann a la Carte zu bestellen. Die a la Carte Gäste bekamen die schönsten Pommes serviert und für Buffet-Gäste gab es irgendwelche trockenen Kartoffelspalten (Dippers genannt), die sowieso ständig aus waren. Uns ist der Tag in schlechter Erinnerung geblieben, da half dann der Preisnachlass von 7 Euro auch nichts mehr. O-Ton Chef: Ja, da wäre wohl was schief gelaufen, in den anderen Häusern würde das angebotene Buffet komplett sein. Ja, dann redet doch vorher mit den Kunden und versucht sie nicht für blöd zu verkaufen. So kommt man nicht wieder und kann auch keine Empfehlung aussprechen.

I was a guest at the airport restaurant with a group of 29 people. We received a warm welcome and the tables were tastefully set. We started with breakfast: sandwiches with fresh cold cuts, and unlimited coffee and tea. Afterwards, we "had to" go for a walk 😉 For lunch, there was a buffet of Snirtjes (a traditional Swiss dish) and kale. Everything was delicious and plentiful. As soon as a bowl was empty, it was immediately refilled. All in all, it cost €33 per person. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time or space for cake, but the selection was tempting... I'll be back!

A very nice restaurant that I like to stop at during bike rides. It's also great for children; there's a sandbox with lots of toys. It's also recommended for larger groups of around 30 people. We had a delicious meal there with my colleagues (Majon Tür's group ;) ) and the service was excellent. Keep it up, I'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, it was only mediocre, as they only served pre-baked rolls and pre-packaged minced meat from a store, not fresh as I think it should be for larger groups. The ambiance was okay, and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, it was all store-bought, nothing fresh.

€33 for Snirtje with kale, where the kale, meat, and sausages were mediocre at best, and the red cabbage could have passed for astronaut food. A 0.3L Coke Zero for a crazy €4.80 is, at least for me, the final straw – never again. For a suggestion of an alternative (food & drink) for €5.99, see the photo. And friends, boiled potatoes should be slightly translucent, not completely smashed. You simply don't cook them in a pressure cooker.

Our group had the grill buffet. The meat was far too dry; the fried potatoes were mushy; and the potato wedges were also very dry. Overall, a meager meal. I wouldn't recommend the place or dine there again.

It's always nice to stop by and watch the hustle and bustle of a small regional airfield. The small restaurant is self-service.

The restaurant, as the name suggests, is located right next to the airport. You can watch the planes take off right from your table. The breakfast buffet is very good and the selection is really large. It tastes great.

We were just there with friends. We had three cordon bleu dishes and one fried fish dish. We were thrilled! We've rarely had such delicious home-cooked food. Top-notch!

Home-style cooking at its finest❤️👌🏼 We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance. On our way home from a vacation in Holland, my wife googled the restaurant. She was skeptical at first... The food, truly the finest. Everything was fresh. Crispy fries, homemade currywurst sauce, sausage with real flavor, roulades like mom's used to make, cordon bleu as it should be, fried potatoes that aren't swimming in fat, and schnitzel with spaetzle that makes children's eyes light up. Another compliment to the chef, who came forward and asked how it tasted. Service was very friendly. If we vacation in Holland again, we know where we'll eat. Really good value for money.

A lovely place for a day trip where you can enjoy coffee and cake or lunch and see the occasional airplane. We like the self-service option, but we don't like the €3.20 insulated coffee flask, which is a disgrace.

I celebrated my 60th birthday there with breakfast, and I was and still am thrilled. The staff was very accommodating and had an eye for what we needed and what we needed. The breakfast was very plentiful, and everything was delicious and beautifully laid out. I celebrated there with 8 adults and 4 children aged 2-9. There was plenty of space at 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning, but around 10 a.m. the restaurant slowly started to fill up. All in all, I can highly recommend it. Once again, a big thank you for my wonderful birthday, which I was able to celebrate with you in a comfortable and accommodating manner.

We were there for breakfast on June 6th with 13 people. The majority of our guests were senior citizens. The service team went to great lengths to serve us an excellent breakfast at our table. It was unbelievable what was served there. We were overwhelmed. Every guest had no problem reaching the many delicacies. Nothing, absolutely nothing, was missing for the perfect 5* breakfast. Thank you for the wonderful morning and the attentive service.

In principle, yes. We were there today. The food (breakfast buffet) was varied and delicious. The service, when it was needed, was friendly and prompt. However, they had obviously added tables; the photos are misleading in that respect. It was incredibly crowded. Naturally, the noise level was correspondingly high. At times, you couldn't hear your neighbors at the table. This eventually improved when most of the guests went outside after breakfast. But by then, our breakfast was over.

As always it was great. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Great weather.

Called at 5 p.m. on New Year's Eve, reserved a table for 6 people at 6:30 p.m., someone canceled. Lucky in the old year, as the restaurant we originally booked forgot about us. Thank you for the very attractively arranged table. Feel-good atmosphere. Extremely tasty, food was served at the table with a beautifully presented starter with carpaccio, main course and delicious dessert, everyone was full, people asked that we were given seconds. Best food in 2024, everyone was very nice. We felt very comfortable. We booked New Year's Eve 2025 straight away. We wish you a healthy New Year.

Like in a canteen, food bland, service not as friendly as you would expect...quick processing Food without taste, frozen vegetables, quantity totally underestimated. When the celebration really started you had to leave again... and quickly...

We had pumpkin soup and a schnitzel with fries. The food was very tasty and the quality was also very good (regional ingredients). The service was very nice. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come by.

We ate here yesterday for school enrollment. It was just great!!!!! Everything turned out so beautifully there and the waitresses are so incredibly nice and friendly ♥️ Our guests were more than satisfied with the food and everything around it. Nice friendly field, free coffee and good bicycles to ride to the center. We sat there while enjoying lunch.

Always happy to fly there again and again, the flight director is the heart of the airport after so many years and is still committed and courteous at any time, even helping with refueling. If you fly to the island, be sure to stop by here on the return flight and fill up cheaply.

Our visit today was self-service. The lady behind the counter was very, very friendly. Personally, the coffee from the thermos wasn't hot enough for me. The ice cream was described as vanilla but was straciatella. Since it basically tasted good, we didn't say anything. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio was not appropriate. The ambience can only be assessed outside. Things were a bit sporadic there, but clean. In summary, we had experienced better things there in the past.

Sorry to say but the staff used to be friendlier!!!! There used to be ice cream sundaes, but today you have to open the chest yourself like in the supermarket and look for something. There used to be a menu, but today you don't need one anymore. Opened cans of soup and it was ready. The water damage that occurred months ago is still present, why is that???? Good luck for the future.

We were here in the café for the first time today. The man with long gray hair who works here was quite rude. The ladies behind the counter were friendly. It's not particularly nice outside. There is no loving design here. It's at the airfield, so it's relatively loud, but that's clear.

Wer hier in Hinsicht von Qualität einen Meckerpunkt hat, ist nicht ganz dicht! 1000 Dank an das Team! Ganz großes Kino!!

Waren zum Frühstücksbuffet dort, mir persönlich war die Auswahl an Wurst etwas zu wenig ,keine Tomate oder Gurke, aber es hat ansonsten gut geschmeckt.

Schön bei gutem Wetter den Fliegern bei Start und Landung zuzuschauen. Das Essen ist in Ordnung aber es war für uns nur ein Snack. Es gibt nicht besonders viel Auswahl.
