Great restaurant... despite many guests, fast but very friendly service. The finest dishes, whether vegetarian or meat dishes. Nice detail: The Turkish tea is served in the classic pot, the baklava selection for dessert is very tasty. Lively atmosphere, also ideal for small groups. The price-performance ratio is outstanding: Great food, drinks and desserts for three people: €75... The tip can be a little more generous. Clear recommendation...We'll definitely be back!

We visited Naan for the second time today. Once again, it was simply fantastic. Very good food, great service, and the prices are right, too.

I was there for lunch; the selection was very good and the service was really attentive. The vegetarian dish was excellent, the salad with mint and dill, the red sauce, and the hummus were particularly outstanding. I finished with a Turkish mocha. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. I definitely recommend it!

Normally, we would give 3-4 stars, but for today's experience with the employee, we can only give zero stars. We come to this restaurant regularly and have purchased cakes and desserts before. We've often noticed differences in taste, suggesting that they're sometimes selling items from the previous day. Today, for the first time, we asked if the price could be reduced for a cake from the previous day. Unfortunately, the employee in question was unfriendly throughout the entire conversation and showed no willingness to engage in conversation. A proper explanation or polite interaction was completely lacking. We found this very disappointing and not at all customer-oriented. Fortunately, there are other employees in the restaurant who are much friendlier and more accommodating. Due to the negative experience with this employee, we ultimately didn't buy anything and left without making any purchases, even though we had planned to buy several items.

Some of the staff were rude! Breakfast was almost ready, and then the tea arrived...

The worst manti I've ever eaten, a disaster in terms of taste. Completely cold. The pide was also worse than standard. I would never order from here again. We thought we'd give the place a chance because there's always a lot of people there and the reviews are good. But we were wrong.

Ich war heute im Café-Restaurant Nan in Hamburg und habe dort zwei Kuchen gekauft – laut der Verkäuferin (eine ältere türkische Dame) handelte es sich um Pistazien- und Erdbeerkuchen. Zuhause stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass es sich überhaupt nicht um Kuchen handelte, sondern um extrem süße, klebrige Zuckermasse, die eher wie zäher Teig war. Geschmacklich ungenießbar – ich musste beides wegwerfen. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass die Verkäuferin offenbar selbst nicht wusste, was sie da verkauft. Wer solche Produkte anbietet, sollte sie zumindest selbst probiert haben und ehrlich darüber informieren können.

The food was delicious (the gözleme was perhaps a bit unseasoned), but overall, it was really good. The service was okay; the waiters were nice, but they were often ignored, and food and drinks were forgotten. The atmosphere was very nice, but quite loud.

We stayed in a hotel near the restaurant. After a tour of the city, we ordered a table there from a local employee. 20 minutes later we were there again. We were warmly welcomed and given a table by the window. The choice of food is sufficient. What we then ordered was very tasty. The service was great. Thanks

Very great food. Every variant (from burgers to pide). It's a Turkish restaurant so I don't expect them to be good at making burgers or pizzas, but they convinced me (everything was very tasty). You can try anything in this restaurant without losing your money. The service was also very nice. You really feel right in the middle of it all. Very cool and disrespectful service! There's no need to talk much about the ambience. Very beautiful Turkish architecture. And really nice jugs etc… very great! Considering the price, it’s also a true luxury! The dishes were very salty. The pide especially was way too salty. Hours after the dinner, the saltness still lingers on in your taste buds.

I bought a breakfast for 2 for €35.90, 2 slices of salami, 2 small ones. Slices of ham (beef), 2 small pieces of feta cheese, 2 slices of butter cheese (halved), 2 small pieces of butter, a few olives, a little scrambled eggs, some must-have and a little jam, scrambled eggs with tomatoes and a little sour cream with honey, it was very little, with lukewarm coffee, that costs extra. Oh and 3 pieces of bread, all loveless, very little and not appetizing! Too bad! The waiter didn't come to ask if we wanted something to drink, I had to go in twice and ask if I could pay 😏😏😏

Unfortunately I haven't eaten yet, but I ordered a cake for myself that was very tasty and looked very nice. And for only a small amount of money, unbelievable, I'm very satisfied 🥰 I definitely have to try the food next time🙏🏻

The Turkish traditional breakfast is highly recommended. Unfortunately, it is a mass processing operation, so stressed staff are visibly overwhelmed. We enjoyed visiting the restaurant a few times and recommended it to others. However, during our last visit we noticed that a young employee was constantly busy with his smartphone.

The two of us were there for breakfast on a Sunday. The store was super full, but we still managed to get a seat right away. After that everything went wrong. We ordered a gözleme with cheese, a teapot, a simit and a medium breakfast. We got the medium breakfast and a Gözleme with spinach. Regardless, we thought, let's just have the Gözleme with spinach. The teapot should arrive in a few minutes. Only one was brought to the plate. After a few minutes we noticed that the Simit was missing. We were then told that these were out and whether we wanted a poğaça instead. We took that. Unfortunately it was super cold and rather dry. We didn't complain this time either. After another 10 minutes the teapot still didn't come, apparently because everyone was in use. At some point this was too stupid for us and we asked for two small teas instead of the teapot. We got them shortly before we finished our breakfast. When it came time to pay, the teapot was still on the bill at €7.10. When we pointed this out, we were told that the two teas that were brought to us cost exactly the same as the pot. This was a lie because a tea cost €2.90. The waiter probably felt caught lying, so he took 1 euro off the bill. When my partner still wanted to give him a tip of 4 euros, he just said that it would be okay without a tip because we would be arguing about 1 euro more on the bill and then the tip wouldn't make any sense. That doesn't work at all. The service was really bad from start to finish and instead of simply apologizing, we were given a saying like that. Super bold with such an underground service! He also asked what he should have done when the teapots were all in use. How about simply bringing two individual teas before guests have to ask for them? All in all, super bad service with rather mediocre food and a super unfriendly waiter. We definitely won't eat there again.

The worst kunefe I've ever tried in germany so far, also overpriced. We didn't try the pyde and other stuff to be fair, most people here come for breakfast.

You should definitely go in here! The food is freshly prepared and tastes so good! The dips are amazing, the bread is HEAVENLY! My grill plate was fully loaded and the price wasn't that high, I'm thrilled and will be back! THANK YOU VERY MUCH:-)

I ordered an iskender. I wouldn't recommend it. The meat wasn't the usual doner kebab, but rather kofte, and the iskender has nothing to do with a real iskender. Perhaps they should have mentioned this on the menu; I would have chosen something else. The portions are small and the price is too high, but the mercimek soup was tasty and the portion was adequate.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined considerably compared to a year ago. The chicken burger is no longer juicy and freshly grilled, but rather dry. The mayonnaise had a skin on it from sitting for so long. The fries were soggy, and the manti were lukewarm to cold. It's a shame, because a year ago it was really delicious. Now we had the impression that they wanted to get as many people through as quickly as possible. The atmosphere was like a noisy cafeteria.

We used to have breakfast here every Sunday, but unfortunately the quality has declined significantly and we come here much less often.

We always came to this restaurant with our friends and recommended it to many of our acquaintances. However, our last visit was truly shocking. The burgers and the vegetarian burgers were not well cooked at all, even though we specifically asked the waiter for it. For dessert we had pistachio cake and baklava, but both were anything but fresh. The baklava in particular had an unpleasant greasy taste, which made it clear that it wasn't fresh. It's a real shame that the quality of this restaurant has deteriorated so much.

Quiet atmosphere, good service, food comes quite quickly. Some vegetarian dishes are possible, unfortunately not very vegan. Also no oat milk for the coffee.

The four of us spontaneously went to Naan for breakfast today. Portion sizes and quality of the food are totally fine. Unfortunately, it was extremely crowded in the restaurant - and due to the size and nature of the room, the number of people without sound absorbers (carpet, curtains, partitions) resulted in a really extreme noise level. We were very happy when we were outside again. The service also seemed overwhelmed and, for example, did not deliver multiple ordered items. There was also a maybe 12 year old boy running around (the boss's son?), whose job we didn't really understand... So I can't really recommend the restaurant.

Turkish restaurant where there is everything from kebab to pizza and also burgers and steaks. We had a pizza once, and Iskender, and Ali Nacik. Before that there was bread with eszme and garlic yoghurt. And before the main course there was a very nice salad that tasted really delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was friendly and top notch. A fairly large restaurant where they also have the best coffee or tea and cake in the afternoon. A clear recommendation of this restaurant! The restaurant is always busy.

The shop only runs thanks to the tourists staying in the hotel next door... no wonder they only come once! Ambiance is actually nice... if the noise didn't make you feel like you were at the train station... Overall, in my opinion, prices are inadequate for the treatment... You can definitely get the oriental taste somewhere else with better quality and actually at a more reasonable price...

Delicious food, very attentive staff and good value for money. We had three main courses, which we shared between the two of us (we had the manti as a starter, which was also really tasty). The food arrived absolutely perfectly on time and sharing was no problem, not even with dessert. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself is nicely furnished and also offers enough options for larger groups. But when there are louder people, it can be a bit difficult to have conversations. But for us everything was at a moderate volume and pleasant. The price was absolutely reasonable for the amount of food (perfect portion sizes). I would happily come back and recommend it.

The NAAN at Barmbeker train station is really an insider tip! I've eaten there several times and loved it every time. The staff is incredibly friendly, you immediately feel welcome. The prices are absolutely fair, especially for the great quality on offer. I would particularly like to highlight our visit on New Year's Eve: We were there with friends and the service was simply first class - attentive, quick and very accommodating, even though it was certainly a stressful evening. I can really recommend NAAN to anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Many thanks to the entire team – I’ll definitely be back!

The service is top and always friendly The Kumpir are incredibly tasty and the pot of Turkish tea was also excellent. The music has a good beat, but a bit too loud for my taste.

Has nothing to do with Turkish cuisine, the food wasn't good unfortunately. Su Börek was already very old and dry and the Mercimek soup had nothing to do with a real Mercimek. The white cheese was rock hard, probably from the cheapest manufacturer. Looks good from the outside. Interior decoration also naturally attracts. Not recommended. Service was super nice, you can't say anything.

I ate at the NAAN restaurant in Barmbek and had a rather mixed experience. The burger was tasty and well prepared, but the sauces were used very sparingly. The Lotus Cheesecake looked visually appealing, but was disappointing in terms of taste as the cream predominated and the characteristic lotus flavor was hardly evident. A major point of criticism is the high prices for food and drinks. Normal soft drinks such as Cola or Sprite cost almost over five euros, which greatly affects the price-performance ratio. The service was also disappointing. Even though the store was relatively empty, you literally had to run after the staff, which negatively affected the overall experience. In summary, the food was edible and sometimes good, but the high prices and mediocre service lead me to vacillate between three and four stars. Ultimately I decide on three stars because the overall experience was not convincing.

We found the restaurant by chance, fortunately at the beginning of our stay in Hamburg that we were able to go there two more times. Not only the chef, but also the pastry chef knows his craft. All of this is served by friendly staff, we would particularly like to praise the young lady who gave us very good advice.

Unfortunately very disappointing. Ordered food for several people today, the only side dish missing from the €24 main course was the announced salad. We called immediately and were told that Lieferando would ask where the salad was and then get back to me. Unfortunately, this never happened. I'm really very disappointed, especially for the money. Will never order there again.

That was the last time we ate there. In the middle of us eating, the waiter suddenly wants to pull our table away and has already lifted it and pulled it halfway away. Is it still okay?? I've never seen a restaurant where the waiters have a push cart. Aren't they even able to carry three plates at once? You couldn't even eat there in peace. The waiter spoke German so badly that you could tell that cheap workers were imported from Turkey without any training. Probably for a pittance. That also explains the bad service. Impossible! We're never going there again. My girlfriend also got a tablespoon instead of a teaspoon yesterday. We were really very annoyed after the whole disaster, it was supposed to be our annual meeting and then something like that.

Only order via Wolt or Lieferando? Not only is the price almost double, but you also pay a 20% commission to the providers. Sry but never again!
