Wir waren mit 15 Personen zu einem Treffen von Swen Lorenz bzw. undervalued-shares.com und alle waren positiv überrascht von dieser Lokalität. Sehr nette Atmosphäre, gutes Personal und hervorragendes Essen. Mehr kann man nicht erwarten. Absolute Empfehlung für dieses historische Haus in Hamburg.

A rustic original from the old days, the wooden floorboards creak so beautifully

As guests of a nearby hotel, we were looking for a cozy restaurant and came across the Krameramtsstuben. The welcome was warm, we immediately felt welcome. For food we first chose the crab soup and then the herring fillets with fried potatoes. I'm always skeptical, especially when it comes to fried potatoes. But these were great. The whole meal was very tasty and the atmosphere was totally rustic! A direct hit for us.

Lovely traditional restaurant. We came here without a reservation and were lucky to a get a table. We both had the panfish which was delicious, especially the potatoes. The service was attentive. The menu was not broad but interesting options. A bit on the more expensive side too.

Arrived by chance and unannounced. Welcomed with Hamburg charm and eaten deliciously. Thumbs up.

The first time I ate in the Krameramtsstuben, but definitely not the last time. A really great meal and the wonderful fried potatoes. Fried in bacon and not too mushy and really very friendly staff. They try very hard to make their guests feel comfortable. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. As I said, we'd love to come back.

Very friendly welcome, even though we hadn't made a reservation we quickly got a table for the two of us. A quaint restaurant with lots of lovely details, unfortunately very cramped. The waiter was nice, our drinks and food were served quickly. Everything was very tasty, there was a little greeting from the kitchen beforehand. We'd love to come back.

Top service and one of the best crab soups I've ever eaten!

When I read the reviews of those who don't give full 5 stars, I think like this: You're sitting in one of the oldest houses in Hamburg. Deceleration is the order of the day. If you don't like that, you should go to a modern system catering restaurant. McD. is everywhere but here. Enjoy life and food. And then you just have to make a reservation if you want to get a seat at all and then you first have to wait a short time for the staff and then a good half hour for the food. Yes, like before, in a restaurant that is from the past, from the past, when everything was better. I experienced great cuisine and equally great staff in a small, fine, ancient restaurant. Bring your time and it will be very good, no matter what you order for food.

Tenemos lo que estábamos buscando; una verdadera comida de Hamburgo. La comida era tradicional y de buen nivel. Las porciones son grandes y el "rote Grütze" era tan delicioso! El ambiente en el restaurante era genial, así, muy acogedor en una maravillosa casa tradicional del siglo 17.

We had schnitzels which were really good. Not cheap but the portion was huge. And very very good. We did no have a reservation which given how busy the place is, I would say be safe and book ahead

The ambience is great, and very good to eat, if you're in Hamburg you have to eat fish, it's really very good and the place is great

We came with a suggestion, our waiter Memo (Turkish) took great care of us, the menu includes different tastes, all of them were delicious, not things to eat all the time, but you can try them.

Charming restaurant with great service. Came across the place by chance and came out very happy. Dishes were well thought out and definitely impressed us. The atmosphere is very cozy and pleasant and the service is very attentive and professional. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Hamburg. It's also best to leave some space for dessert.

We were in the restaurant with 3 people and really enjoyed the evening. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was a positive journey back in time to Hamburg's past. The staff is very attentive and thus rounds off the positive impression. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant is located in the backyard and at first glance appears very small, but rustically chic. The waiters were very nice and I was able to make a reservation two days before. Right at the beginning there were free baguette slices (unfortunately super dry) with delicious herb quark. I ordered the Hamburg eel soup, which was really delicious. Nice and sweet and sour and the eel was in good quantity and nice and tender. However, I would have liked more dried fruit and generally a larger portion for over 10 euros. Afterwards I had the starter version of Labskaus, which was definitely filling. The fried egg was outstanding, but the labskaus itself was a bit underseasoned for me. Overall, I would like to visit the restaurant again. It's something special.

So as some have already written, very authentic and very cozy. The Labskaus is highly recommended. The service is super nice and attentive. Other guests from France also really enjoyed it. I will come again!

Great restaurant with great food and great service

Cozy restaurant with Hamburg specialties a little off the usual tourist routes. The menu can be viewed on the homepage. The food was extremely tasty and even the appetizer version of the delicious Labskaus would probably be enough to satisfy a small hunger! 😉 We had reserved online for a Friday evening, but even without a reservation we would have gotten a table for a maximum of 4 people at least that evening. When we are in Hamburg again we will definitely come back! 🤗

Here you can eat very well and of course fresh food at reasonable prices. Our waiter was also great and the whole thing was rounded off by such a historic building in the oldest settlement in Hamburg with the very antique furnishings inside - a TOP recommendation! 👍

We always come the weekend before Christmas. This year we finally had goose legs again. And the cinnamon plums are to die for. The only thing I found unfortunate was that the waiter simply called everyone. Fine for me, but e.g. For example, there were older people sitting next to us and I find it inappropriate if you just use the first name of every guest

Have I ever given 5 stars three times...we had two different meals. All very tasty. Service first class, ambience anyway.

The food is good enough, but pricey. The service is questionable. We reserved a seat in advance, we chose it specifically for the beautiful interior. However, we didn't know that there are in fact 2 separate buildings. One building is the beautiful, old one of which you see a lot of photos and videos. The other one is poorly decorated and if you want to go to the bathroom from there, you have to go outside and go to another building. They are not far away from each other, but still. When we came there were still a few places in the old beautiful building, but they seated us in the other one. When we asked the waiter if we could move to the beautiful building, he said that there was no place. We could see the free places there the whole time, it was not full. It is quite disappointing that they do not warn you about the 2 buildings when you book in advance and also refuse to change your place even though the availability allows it. Very disappointed. Do not think that the food is worth it.

Discovered by chance and tried it out straight away. Interesting environment, here you can experience a piece of history while enjoying traditional Hamburg dishes (e.g. Labskaus). Service is well organized, we didn't have to wait long. The food is solid. They are obviously fully booked on weekends -> reserve in advance

Five of us were here for lunch on a Saturday. There weren't many guests present at that time. At first we were irritated that the waiter used his tongue at us and in our opinion he exaggerated his role as a clown a bit. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. In a restaurant like this and with such high prices, you could take a little more care of your guests. The dirty plates were left on the table for 20 minutes after dinner before they were finally cleared away. The quality of the food was average and it wasn't hot when it was served. On the other hand, the beautiful ambience is unbeatable.

Great menu with several typical North German dishes. The location is a bit hidden, but really original, you have the feeling of sitting in an old living room. This was my second time here and I'm looking forward to another visit.

Every time I stay in Hamburg I visit the Krameramtsstuben. We both had a starter and a main course. As always, the food was excellent and the staff courteous and friendly. Always worth a recommendation. 😍

Really nice place in a small piece of historic Hamburg, hidden in a backyard behind St. Michaelis Church. Backyard and buildings are from the 17th century and the restaurant exudes the same history - combined with traditional food of really good quality. All four of us got wiener schnitzel which was really good - And we also gravitated towards the delicious goulash on the neighboring table. The service was top notch. The place can therefore be recommended.

I haven't experienced such courteous, attentive and great service in a long time. The food was excellent and the restaurant is located in a small alley in a historic building with a very nice atmosphere right next to the Hamburger Michel. Absolutely recommended!! 👍

Very friendly service, super delicious food and great ambience. It's best to reserve in advance as it's always busy, even during the week. The entrance is a bit hidden, but it is well signposted.

If you come to Hamburg, I recommend you to stop by. The schnitzel, veal and fish products are very successful. The service is high quality.

This restaurant is a classic among traditional Hamburg restaurants. Atmosphere, interior design, architecture, food, everything reflects classic Hamburg. The variety and quality of the seafood is also first class.

The restaurant is hidden in a charming, idyllic alley and impresses with its loving, historically influenced furnishings both indoors and outdoors. The staff is extremely committed and courteous. We enjoyed an antipasti platter as well as a crab soup, both of which tasted excellent. The restaurant is located in the immediate vicinity of the impressive St. Michael's Church.

I visited this restaurant in December 2023. It is an absolute gem. The location feels right out of a fairytale, the food was fantastic, and the staff made us feel very welcome.

Localizado em um pátio fechado com casas que datam do séc.XVII, esse charmoso restaurante é uma excelente opção em Hamburgo. Delicadamente decorado, a simpatia dos atendentes e a culinária tornam qualquer jantar em um momento memorável e de alto estilo. As opções recaíram para deliciosos "Büsumer crab soup with dill-cream topping", "Tomato soup", seguidos de "Hamburger pannfisch". De sobremesa, "Hamburger rote grütze" e um "Mixed sorbet " de limão, manga e frutas vermelhas.

The food was very good. The service was also very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is very quaint and spread over several levels.

I called there to inquire about opening times as it was still closed despite the opening hours shown. I was very shocked by the more than incompetent and unfriendly statement on the other end: "No, we're just standing around and playing today" - I beg you, what kind of communication is that??? I would have liked a friendly and professional answer on the other end of the line. It's a shame, that's how you scare away your guests!

A beautiful restaurant, great ambience, very well maintained. You really feel comfortable here. The fish dishes we ate were really great. The starter that I chose left nothing to be desired and was a real treat for the palate. I also really liked it. The good wine selection. The service was more than satisfactory. A special mention should be made of the waiter who served us, Daniel. An absolutely perfect waiter. It did its perfect job in a friendly, discreet manner in the background. If you have the pleasure of sitting in the area where he serves you, you really have top service. I can simply recommend this house. On my next visit to Hamburg I will visit again to try more items on the menu.

After what feels like endless times, once again in the Krameramtsstuben. Old memories came flooding back. The restaurant has a really old Hamburg atmosphere, right on the Michel. My wife, who invited me, has never been here before. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our reserved table in the “Guten Stube”. It's so comfortable there, you immediately feel at home. 😍 Service/cleanliness/value for money simply top 💖

Situado en un callejón estrecho, este stübe típico alemán sirve varios platos favoritos muy conocidos magníficamente preparados y en un ambiente típico encantador. Disfrutamos de la cocina típica alemana, incluyendo arenque marinado en pan negro, filete, pollo, platos de pescado y ciruelas calientes con helado o rote grütze. Nuestro camarero, Daniel, era muy servicial y eficiente.

Très bonne table pour déguster la cuisine locale dans un cadre typique. Plats très bons et très copieux. Seul bémol un service un peu lent et inégal entre les clients. L’adresse mérite une visite.

We ate here on Saturday evening. The food was really tasty and the atmosphere was really great too. You could almost forget that you were in a restaurant. It felt like you were at Grandma's for dinner. Really nice! The service was very attentive and had a good touch of humor. Not too much but not too little either.

Food great, service good. It's narrow and unfortunately loud right next to the stairs. I constantly had the feeling that someone was walking over the table. Nevertheless we will come back.

A bit disappointed, as the anticipation was great. A long-established restaurant in Hamburg with a clocklike atmosphere. The welcome was warm. I made the reservation via OpenTable. With the Büsum crab soup I had to look for the crabs in the soup. There is more to the taste here too. I understand that crabs come at a price. With the pan fish in mustard sauce, the fried potatoes and the cucumber salad were very tasty, but the fish itself was fried too dry, so I didn't eat it all, which is rarely the case for me. When I ate the sorbet that followed, I had the feeling that it was made with gelatine. I know sorbet differently from how it feels in the mouth.

Super satisfied, without a reservation, we were seated immediately. If we're back in Hamburg we'll come back.

The Krameramtsstuben are located in a very narrow street that you have to enter through an almost inconspicuous gate. You almost walk past it if you're not careful. The alley and rooms have a cozy narrowness. I was invited for a large portion of leaf scows. Very interesting dish. Wikipedia says: Labskaus is a potato dish with beef and beetroot that is consumed in northern Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden. Have a good meal!
