Incredible find in the middle of central Hamburg!! We came a little early for food so had a couple of drinks to pass the time until the kitchen was open. So glad we stayed as it was worth the wait! Schnitzel was delicious and a good selection of drinks and friendly service. Recommended!

An absolutely iconic, and in my experience, quite unique, shop in Hamburg. We were only there for drinks, but we were absolutely thrilled! A fantastic selection of draft beer, schnapps, whiskeys, etc., fantastic, super friendly service, and the interior of the shop is simply a museum. And the prices are very fair, too. Definitely stop by for a nightcap if you're in the area!

Super cozy place. Went there with a friend for a few nightcaps. The bartender was nice and should definitely try the Franzbrötchen schnapps in the shop :) The prices are reasonable, and we'd come back :)

There's nothing left to eat (unfortunately...) Apparently because the cook took off... Or is he lying in the basement...? Who knows. In any case, there's nothing to eat, but there's something to drink and lots of good cheer and nice people. We had a great time. Thanks Murat, Hülya, and Ben.

A restaurant where, as soon as you enter, you get the feeling that it has always belonged in this corner of Hamburg. Regional dishes are served in a cozy and quaint atmosphere. The service is always friendly and smiling. While preparing your order with your own variations, guests can let their gaze wander over the interior. The prices are reasonable for today's standards, and the food is delicious, too.

I can't understand the good reviews. We ordered the farmer's omelet. I've never had such a bad meal in my life. The fried potatoes were partly raw...they certainly hadn't touched the bottom of the frying pan. The bacon was raw and carelessly poured over the omelet. When I pointed out that the fried potatoes were partly raw, I got the response: "Well, they're always delivered differently. Even a drink on the house won't make up for that." NEVER AGAIN

Charming little bar/restaurant with excellent schnitzel cooked by a lovely woman. Serves straightforward authentic food. I particularly enjoyed the fried potatoes which were crispy on the outside, but were delightfully chewy on the inside. Delicious beer as well.

Lousy food, service was very bad, not recommended

We were here for goose dinner. The goose was terribly tough and couldn't be cut with a knife. The corresponding dumplings according to the menu and order were not served. There was probably a change of operator, we were here for Christmas dinner for the last time. The price-performance ratio was unbelievably bad.

Very good place to eat, the menu is in English, the person who serves also speaks English, the food is very delicious, the place is cozy.

Unfortunately, the location did not fully exploit its potential. In the beginning, only the offer of schnitzels was communicated, which we accepted. However, the waiting time was unfortunately 1 to 1.5 hours, followed by a message that fried potatoes were no longer available, supposedly due to the holidays. Although we eventually received a portion, it was far from enough for three people; Neighboring tables didn't get any more. Better planning and the provision of alternatives would have been desirable, especially since potatoes have a certain shelf life. The service was therefore rated as very disorganized. What should be highlighted positively is the friendliness of the service and their obvious regret about the situation. The schnitzel was excellent. Despite the shortcomings mentioned, we intend to give it a second chance due to the location's appealing ambience.

What a very nice restaurant this is. We ate here a few days before Christmas. Nice atmosphere with lots of Christmas decorations, very friendly staff and the food is simple and delicious. You can sit there comfortably. Toilets also clean and tidy. Prices are great!

Heel leuk klein gezellig restaurantje. Het telefonisch reserveren ging moeizaam. Eenmaal daar was de bediening net gewisseld en werden we geholpen door een superaardige gast. Typisch Duits eten. Bediening is langzaam en de dame die kwam helpen snapte er niet veel van. Moesten vragen om bestek en lege borden werden niet meegenomen toen we het toetje bestelden. Er liepen ook gasten weg die maar niet geholpen werden. Eten was verder wel smakelijk en gelukkig hadden wij geen haast.

Very poor service with the waiters forgetting sodas and delayed time in taking our food order. We ended up eating 65-75 min after being sat. However, once food arrived it was nice and tasty but the sauce for the schnitzel seemed like the cook dropped the pepper mill in it.

We had made a reservation with 7 people for this evening at 7 p.m. When we arrived our table was occupied. Other customers had sat down and the owner of the restaurant didn't ask for names or check if it was our reservation. So, no room for us and no chance of finding a table anywhere else so late. The owner definitely didn't care about it. A reservation has no meaning here!

El tipo que tomó nuestro paseo - en reserva no era particularmente amable - como que implica que estaban llenos, pero luego al abrir su libro no tenía básicamente nada (! ) - pero el servicio durante la cena en sí era encantador. Comida y bebida también muy agradable (aunque el primero no fue demasiado rápido para llegar). Nos sentamos en la zona de atrás y casi se sentía como si estuviéramos en un esquí - pista - lado de madera retiro alpino. Una agradable noche acogedora con una factura a un precio razonable (unos 75 euros en total para nosotros dos, incluyendo 2 bebidas cada uno).

A pleasant surprise. In the heart of the center, a rustic place with details from another era. I ordered a snichel, the house specialty, without many expectations. I was rather expecting a brick and on the contrary the steak was tender and juicy. Highlighting the strong character of the waitress, who does not speak English and addresses people in an almost threatening tone, but this gives her her point and authenticity. I don't want to think how I would treat you if you did a sinpa. Must visit

An interesting rustic relationship, the crust of the schnitzel is really crispy and the meat inside is really juicy. It's been a long time since I've had a restaurant where I would recommend a schnitzel as much as I did in this restaurant.

A very nice restaurant. From the outside it looks a bit strange. That was my first impression. My wife chose it based on the many positive reviews. But inside it had me under its spell. There is so much to see on the walls. Even the men's room has its own insights. The food was great. Crispy schnitzel with crispy fried potatoes. We were lucky and got a free table. It's best to reserve a table.

Era todo lo que estábamos buscando, schnitzel, salchichas, pretzels, y cerveza! Deliciosa, especialmente su ensalada de col casera con un toque alemán. Muy recomendable!

The food didn't taste good, the schnitzel is disgusting. The meat strange? Fried potatoes aren't really that good. On the menu there is homemade coleslaw, you get iceberg lettuce with a few cocktail tomatoes with yoghurt sauce, etc. It's really very unfortunate. I don't recommend it, I'm sorry.

What happened to the schnitzel? Today's was made from cured salty meat and tasted terrible.

We were here as a family. Everyone found something good and a family member voted to make Hamburger Deel a regular restaurant. The service was first class, friendly and attentive. Consistently good food. And too much. 😁

A Hamburg institution. Rustically furnished but with attention to detail, you have to visit this location once. A reservation is an advantage because the Deel is not very large. A few outdoor spaces expand the possibility of visiting when the weather is good or depending on the time of year, but of course cannot keep up with the indoor area. Our welcome from the service staff was very friendly and the service was very pleasant throughout the evening. The kitchen offers classics of German cuisine and we enjoyed them very much. Many thanks to the entire team, we would be happy to come back.

A small restaurant in the middle of Hamburg with a lot of charm and ambience. The food was excellent. The onion soup was a highlight and the rump steak was really brilliant.

Food is good, plain and simple. Schnitzel with bacon and two fried eggs was good. The fried potatoes, on the other hand, were very fatty and firm. Salad also OK. Portions are generous.

Más allá de eso, tienen un buen Labskaus (se echan en falta un par de arenques), buenas carnes y buenos camarones. El local es encantador y los camareros son muy amables.

Loved this place... Polite and friendly with excellent food. They spoke excellent English and were incredibly attentive. The food was freshly prepared and you could tell. It was delicious. The interior is intimate and eclectic and that adds to the atmosphere.

Yesterday was the first time in this nice location, but only to have a drink, so I can't say anything about the food, the menu certainly looked delicious. A beautiful location with a lovely charm and super nice service. Would love to come back.

We were in the Deel with two adults and two children and spent a great, wonderful Saturday evening there for everyone! Everyone enjoyed the food, the schnitzels were excellent. Yes, it took time with the one-man kitchen, but the ambience and the extremely nice waiter ensured that it wasn't annoying. We felt very comfortable, enjoyed a great dinner and found a highly recommended restaurant. Thank you!!

While passing bye we were attracted to the look of this atmospheric 'restaurant' and booked a table for dinner. After waiting 45 mins with no food coming, we asked how long more our food would take..... two tables ahead of us, we were told so I asked for some bread as we were quite hungry.... 5 mins late we got 2 slices of toast!!!!.... another 30 mins, no food so we decided to call it a day... There was one front of house bartender and one person in the kitchen to serve an almost full restaurant. Bar tender kept saying food is coming ...but it didn't .. So, I can't comment on the food coz we didn't get any. Very disappointing to wait so long on a Saturday night. Glad to say we found a nice French restaurant close bye with great food and excellent service.

The waiter hardly speaks any English. Water was ordered twice . Brought in a glass , guessed it was a tap water as no bottle was given. Charged it twice with different price. Added extra salad in the bill. Refused to accept card payment. Only cash, never even warned about it in the beginning. I would not recommend the place

If you are near there you should go there to eat. A small restaurant lovingly decorated with old things. The food is rich and super tasty. The staff super friendly. We'll definitely come back.

Es scheint, dass hier die Hamburger selbst gerne hingehen. Karte ist klein, die Speisen aber lecker. Schnitzel sind riesig, selbst der Kinderteller aber gut gebraten und lecker. Mir wurde irrtümlich das falsche Gericht gebracht, war aber trotzdem gut. Mur die Bratkartoffeln waren schnell kalt. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen.

Kelner was absolutely overwhelmed, waited 30 minutes for drinks, and many guests were not served until they left. Food looked good, but left after 1.5 hours without eating. I got too stupid.

Moin Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut, leider lauwarm. Der Service muss noch viel lernen auch als neuer Chef muss man sich um seine Gäste bemühen, und nicht nur mit dem Handy spielen.

So hatten wir uns das vorgestellt, perfekte Hausmannskost, Service auf den Punkt und das in einem Kneipenrestaurant wie man es kaum noch findet!

Toll das man so etwas uriges noch in Hamburg findet. Wir waren gleich zweimal hier. Auch die Deko war sehr liebevoll gemacht. Wenn wir wieder in Hamburg sind gehen wir wieder ins Deel.

Hier findet offenbar der Engländer das, was er unter deutscher Küche versteht. Die Hälfte des Publikums sprach Englisch. Das Essen war jedoch typisch deutsch und prima. Die Dekoration ist ausgefallen und das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich.
