As soon as you enter the restaurant, you're struck by the pleasant atmosphere – modern and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening or lunch with friends. The portions are truly huge, so you'll definitely be full. The quality of the food is outstanding, and you can immediately tell that fresh ingredients are used – this makes the taste of the dishes simply unique. I particularly liked the option to create my own bowl. This cool idea gives you the freedom to combine ingredients according to your own taste, which ensures variety and individuality. The dishes on the menu are also extremely creative and varied – there are many exciting options to tantalize the palate. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. Top top top! I had beef and for me it felt like Werder were playing the Champions League again. Super tender and the sauce...amazing! The blue swimming crabs (mild) were also great. Wir sind spontan ins Yin Seafood House gefahren, weil es uns schon mehrfach empfohlen worden war. Wir haben schon viele asiatische Restaurants besucht, daher war für uns das Yin Seafood Restaurant nur mittelmäßig. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Essen, was in Backpapier serviert wurde, hatte einfach zu viel Soße. Geschmack war ok.

After writing the review, not only have I not received an apology from the owner but the owner complained to Google for defamation. Thanks to Google's justice, the review is now reinstated. I regret that I didn't report the incident to the local food safety authority at the time.

When we were there around 1 p.m. on Saturday, three tables were already occupied. The southern Chinese cellar was friendly and relaxed, and he also gave us good advice. The waitress is very impatient to place your order. But after ordering, you have to wait almost an hour for the dishes to be served. We ordered a seafood menu with crab. Only when we had almost finished the crabs did the waitress inform us that they had forgotten to bring us the crab claws. The worst thing, however, is that after waiting over 50 minutes you are served a plate with ingredients that are not fresh. I even ate spoiled shellfish. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she proudly said, "Sorry, but it's impossible for us to completely clean all the seafood." We had to pay almost 100 euros for this service and this meal.

We were here three times yesterday and unfortunately I was very disappointed with both the service and the food this time. We always order the seafood platter for 3 people and so far it has always tasted very good. However, that wasn't the case yesterday. The shrimp were overcooked and had a typical rubbery consistency. When you told the waiter this, he replied that it was Saturday and it was busy! What kind of excuse is that? After all, I don't pay less on Saturdays than on other days, so I demand the same quality! Plus, the entire meal was bombarded with garlic and everything tasted the same. After we were asked several times if everything was OK and we politely said that the food didn't taste good, we didn't even get a small compensation, such as a drink on the house. That wouldn't have changed our opinion about the food but it would definitely have been more customer friendly. The waiter didn't even apologize. He was very unsympathetic, inconsiderate and always said stupid things.

Der knusprig gebratene Lachs war eine frittierte Art Frikadelle. Angesprochen auf die unterirdische Küchenleistung hieß es: gute Sachen müssen sie von der Karte bestellen. Der Mittagstisch ist für Büroleute, die wollen das so. Da muss sich also Mittags die Küche verstellen und extra mies kochen?

I visited during dinner opening time (5pm) without a reservation. I ordered the H2 set menu. The wonton soup that came as an appetizer was delicious, and the main dish had a good combination of various seafood such as lobster, oysters, and clams, and was boiled evenly. Wir waren das erste Mal im Yin seafood, aber sicher nicht das letzte Mal! Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und die Wartezeit auf das Essen war kurz. Wir hatten die Wan-Tan.Suppe und das Sashimi vom Tina und Lachs - hervorragend! Als Hauptgericht den gemischten Fisch und die Garnelen (Wildfang) mit Pilzen. Beides kam sehr heiß auf der Eisenplatte eingewickelt und wurde vor unseren Augen geöffnet. Wir beide waren sehr erfreuter das leckere Essen! Dazu hatten wir offenen Wein (Chardonnay und Grauburgunder), der gut dazu passte. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut!

Delicious seafood at good prices and fresh

3 of us shared the Classic platter, salted yolk crabs and stir fried green vegetable ( kang kong). The food was fresh, well seasoned and plenty for us. Dishes were authentic tasting and very much like what you will get eating seafood in Asia. Outdoor seating was closed because of the weather but the food and friendly service were excellent! We also ordered the classic fried banana with honey for dessert without a photo, a nice simple sweet finish to the wonderful meal!

Yin Seafood is an Asian restaurant, so seafood is also prepared Asian: seasoned with garlic, chili, coriander, soy, oyster and bean sauce. The products are homemade (e.g. fish balls, dumplings, spring rolls). Asian preparation also means that fish and seafood are more likely to be fried or braised. Here you could possibly use a little less heat or cooking time. As always, when you order dessert from an Asian restaurant, you think afterwards: you could have left it out. Overall, we went home full and happy. This was our first time at Yin but definitely not the last time. There is still a lot to try...

I was definitely reminded of the last time I was in China (except that the chopsticks, rice bowl and spoon didn't come to the table sealed in foil :-) When it comes to dishes, it makes sense to share and try out a lot. The menus with all kinds of seafood are of course particularly suitable here (and look great too). On our next visit, however, I would order “specifically”, which I particularly enjoyed. My highlights were definitely the oysters, scallops, the mixed fish on a hot plate and the sea bass filleted whole. The homemade spring rolls are also highly recommended. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is also good. All in all: a very nice evening! We'll come back and try out more dishes.

Very fresh taste and the fish soup is delightful. I've visited the place twice now and am pleased with the food. Portion size is small, service could check more for guests that have requests. All dishes came nicely presented and although the serving size for things such as the Octopus Arms is on the smaller size of the spectrum we didn't leave the restaurant hungry. I'd recommend the place - albeit it is my first seafood-specialized experience in Hamburg so bear mind to other reviews.

We ordered a la carte and all very freshly prepared - the clam was a bit too heavy flavoured though. Do make a reservation to avoid a long waiting line. Order all the dishes at the same time so you don’t have to wait pretty long for another round.
