Perfect. Very good food and exemplary service. Every wish was catered for. Small portions are also possible. I found the wrapped lemon particularly nice. Bouillabaisse, espresso and Wiener Schnitzel are simply fantastic. Thank you.

The food was, as always, very good! However, I was surprised by the cheap and unsustainable disposable chopsticks for sushi. The service employee for our area was inattentive, I know it differently. We sat for a good 15 minutes with empty plates while the table next to us was being set for the next day.

Very expensive but also very tasty

It's always a pleasure to eat at Stock's. The welcome from the restaurant management and the service staff is very friendly. The ambience is valuable and stylish. The selection of food and drinks leaves little to be desired. The sushi variations are legendary, as is the bouillabaisse. During our visit yesterday I chose the stuffed cabbage and not for the last time: a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. The very attentive service ensured a successful evening. We'll definitely be back soon.

I can fully recommend Stock's. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our reserved table. Our order was taken in a very short time by the friendly service employee and the drinks were brought out very quickly. The food - we had a 3-course lunch menu - was excellent and a true taste experience. A restaurant that makes you feel good all around and enjoy - We'll definitely be back ;-)

Completely satisfied! We were there as a group and had a really wonderful evening. Both the entire offering and the quality of the food and drinks were beyond any doubt. Particularly noteworthy is the always friendly and really fast staff. Despite the restaurant being full to capacity, there were virtually no waiting times. All orders and requests could be placed and received promptly. The ambience is very cozy and invites every guest to linger. This is how you imagine the somewhat upscale gastronomy!

We were looking for a way to have dinner on New Year's Eve. Despite being fully booked, we still managed to get a spot from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It was really very good and very hospitable and delicious, great restaurant - compliments and thank you very much!

It really tasted very, very good. It was our wedding anniversary and we enjoyed a great meal in a very cozy atmosphere. Of course the Stocks isn't exactly cheap but the food tasted really great. The service is super friendly and down to earth... the ambience is also great, but when it was completely full around 7:30 p.m., the noise was a bit increased. The portions actually fill you up. In terms of price, the Stocks is not for every week, but definitely recommended for special occasions. Thank you for a very nice evening. Gladly again.

The food there is always delicious

We recently had dinner there with 2 friends. The food was fabulous - a poem. The restaurant is very cozy and chicly furnished. Since there are only about 8 parking spaces on site (exaggerated:-)) there is a nice driving service. Then you park at the bakery 500 meters away and a very nice older gentleman takes you the 500 meters to the restaurant. Won't be our last visit.

Nice ambience. We had a very nice attentive waiter. The food is high quality. The only thing I don't like so much is the high proportion of sushi. I would like more fish variations and possibly seasonal dishes.

Not suitable for vegetarians or vegans! There is simply no offer for this. “Choose something from the side dishes” - that’s not a meal!! The fish and meat eaters were satisfied, the others were not. Since the younger generation in particular likes to eat vegan or vegetarian food, we will certainly no longer come here with a larger family group. We also had the “feeling” that regular guests were preferred. We had to wait quite a long time even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The service was ok, but certainly not warm towards us. The atmosphere is now a bit old-fashioned. Too bad.

The food is high quality steaks, fish and Wienerschnitzel top. Unfortunately, cream of lobster bisque was not creamy and was quite strong. Red cabbage is a matter of taste. Desserts great.

After we were here for the first time at the opening on October 1st, 2001, we are still thrilled to have such a great restaurant here. Alstertal to have. A. Nonymos, Weiland, F.H.. are probably used to highway restaurants or trucker bars, but anyone who is used to recognizing and “tasting” hand-made dishes, so to speak, cooks fresh at home every day and doesn’t order from Lieferando knows what’s good. You can safely do without such customers. Because finding good staff is more difficult these days than finding guests. With that in mind, see you again.

Fine dining, top quality and service, a hidden gem, every time we are satisfied with the service and the food, very nice ambience. Small to medium-sized family celebrations or conferences are possible in the adjacent building.

What can I say? One of the top restaurants in the north of Hamburg is a real classic when it comes to sushi and sashimi. But German cuisine is not neglected here either. There is absolutely nothing negative to complain about about STOCKS! Rarely have we experienced such motivated staff and perfect food. Absolutely recommended. Important: reserve a table!

Delicious food on the Alsterschleife...

The food was delicious, but perhaps a bit expensive for the quality of the craftsmanship. Restaurant very nicely decorated. The service was generally very attentive and tried hard - until I surprised two waiters in the entrance area gossiping about the customers. Unfortunately, this overshadowed the overall result and would prevent me from visiting again. It's a shame actually.

More is difficult! Top food! Very well trained staff. Varied map! Always pleasant audience. The prices are completely moderate for the ambience and the excellent quality of the food! Absolutely recommended 👍🏼😇

Delicious food and friendly service

After a long absence we were back at Stocks today. We really enjoyed it and it was good as always. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, we haven't been able to come so often recently, but that will now change again!

Very good lunch menu: Fresh, deliciously prepared fish, unusual side dishes plus starters and dessert at a reasonable price in a pleasant atmosphere.

The zander fillet was a dream, the service was very attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. Any time!

I was here at a wedding reception in the fireplace room on the first floor. The food was really excellent, 3 courses, very appetizing to the eye and very tasty. The fireplace room is completely wood-clad, very cozy and has a large outdoor terrace with a green view all around. The Stocks is a thatched-roof house, which in itself has a very attractive and cozy effect on guests.

Very nice fish-focused restaurant in Hamburg Poppenbüttel with a large terrace, very friendly service, reservation necessary. In winter there is duck and goose freshly carved from the oven at the table. A place to feel good! Correct prices, especially the lunch menu, is cheap. The restaurant is usually very busy, although there is often a shortage of parking spaces, especially at the back of the restaurant, despite the many parking spaces

The restaurant is cozy, with darker colors inside and lots of wood. The service staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our dishes. The map is clear, but offers a good selection. Vegetarian dishes are hard to find. Overall, it's a little more expensive and difficult to get a parking space depending on the time of day.

Disappointment. Expectations were not met. We had eaten there twice before and it was always very good. This time hectic, stressed service, red wine too warm, open wines not of high quality, lighting too dark. Food was ok. Atmosphere wasn't right.

We visited our favorite restaurant several times; on a Saturday evening it was really very crowded. The rush to the kitchen may have been the reason that this time everything didn't go as perfectly as usual. We had 2 x Wiener Schnitzel, good as always, and 2 x the Sommerwock, once with prawns and once with fillet tips. The shrimp were in the wok a little too long but were still okay, but the beef fillet tips were overcooked and unseasoned and therefore unfortunately not worth the price. What bothered us most were indefinable hard strips that were crunchy on the vegetables, tasteless and with the consistency of uncooked noodles. When asked, it turned out that they were fried spring roll dough. Adding a crunchy texture is certainly a good option but not like this! We are still looking forward to our next visit to Stocks.

Always leggger lunch with very good recommendations for wine accompaniment! We'll be back!

In short: That was simply five out of five points. As the Germans say, they like to complain in the wrong place - there is no reason for that here: An all-round harmonious concept: Attentive, professional & friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, nice ambience, pleasant lighting - and: A balanced menu, that leaves nothing to be desired and is not so oversized that you can't decide. The quality of the food: Excellent. We tested both fish (Surf'n Turf burger) and meat (roulade with the famous cucumber salad). The patty - rosé - perfectly on point, king prawns: top, the roulade plus salad: like "at Nuts" - a great one. The homemade fries with the truffle mayonnaise: outstanding. First of all, the lobster soup: you simply can't do anything better. Hats off to the kitchen! I think price/performance is completely reasonable. Serving time was convincing, washrooms not tested. Absolutely wonderful, we would love to come back.

A stylish location with excellent service. Consistent quality has been delivered here at a high level for years. It's always a pleasure to spend a cozy evening here. The great sushi creations, which are among the best in the Hamburg area, are particularly recommended. Always happy, we have never been disappointed. Occasionally there is a lack of parking spaces, but this is not the responsibility of the hotel. However, there is the option to park a little further away and reach the restaurant quickly on foot through a green area.

Great food, the 4-course lunch option is imaginative and highly recommended. Unfortunately, when we asked for bread with the soup, the waiter promised it, but then didn't bring it. But that was the only negative point.

The worst service and food ever. For the price level that they have you get awful food, arrogant waiters and dirty cutlery with leftovers of food 🤢. They don’t even know how to cook pasta properly.

As always: an absolute feel-good place with extremely delicious food. Unfortunately, there was a small "misunderstanding" when ordering, which was dealt with with great friendliness, but could no longer change our meal ideas, therefore one star less.

The Stock's restaurant is in an idyllic location in the Alster Valley, the seating there is very good and the food is of excellent quality. An inexpensive lunch menu is also offered during the week from Tuesday to Saturday.

Nothing out of the ordinary, service moderately friendly and attentive, especially when you speak to someone who is not responsible for you. And portions HUGE, waste!

Doesn't feel as great as it used to. The sushi is still great, the other dishes have deteriorated a bit, although only one other chef cooks "differently"...

The day before yesterday I celebrated my 70th birthday in the Kaminstube in Stock's and I regret not having done it on all the big birthdays before. It was fantastic, grandiose, fantastic! From the first planning with Ms. Meyer and Mr. Stock, we knew: it would be great! The rooms, the buffet suggestions, and ultimately the lovingly prepared, Michelin star-worthy food that was served as a table buffet. The whole atmosphere is friendly and professional. Nothing, absolutely nothing went wrong. Enthusiasm from all sides. I'm so happy and after I just received the bill, I can only say: a very, very good price-performance ratio! Thanks!

Nice atmosphere, it's lovely to sit outside in the garden. I expect a little more from the service in a restaurant like this. During the entire time, no one at the table even asked if we could have anything else to drink. At over 2 hours, that's poor. The food tasted very good, the portions were sufficient, and the prices were appropriate for the restaurant.
