If we could, we'd give it 10 stars! We celebrated our civil wedding at the restaurant "das Pfeiffers" in "Piso Uno" and are still deeply moved by the evening. The food was simply perfect – every single dish from our buffet was delicious and prepared with so much love. The service was exceptional. Someone was always there for us, and every wish was immediately fulfilled with such attention, warmth, and genuine interest. Although the restaurant was very busy, we never felt alone – quite the opposite: we felt completely carried along by the evening. We are especially grateful for how our little guests (0-3 years old) were treated. Despite the hustle and bustle, they were lovingly included, entertained, and always greeted with a smile – even when they were running around between the waitstaff's legs. This natural warmth touched us deeply. All our guests were absolutely delighted. For us, this evening wasn't just a celebration, but a memory for a lifetime. We would choose Piso Uno again in a heartbeat – without a second thought. Thank you for everything. Thank you for this feeling.

"Das Pfeiffers" truly takes its role as a host seriously. It was my first visit, and I was completely satisfied. The food was first-class, and the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, yet genuine. The ambiance was cozy and lovely. If I lived in Hamburg, I would certainly eat at Pfeiffers more often.

We were invited to a family celebration at "Piso Uno." Upon arrival, we were delighted by the wonderful, rustic yet modern ambiance. This isn't a contradiction at all. The staff was incredibly efficient and happy to accommodate special requests. We found the food to be very diverse and absolutely delicious! It's a shame we don't live in Hamburg – we would love to come back often.

We had lunch at Pfeiffers on December 4th with a group of three. Everything was excellent, from the food (we had the set lunch menu) to the service and the atmosphere. We had a quiet table, the service was attentive, and the food arrived at a very pleasant pace, just right for lunch. We will definitely go there again.

Now under the name Pfeiffers, the service remains excellent and the cuisine has become even more refined. The stay was a delight.

Parking around the restaurant is very tight. It gets crowded quickly both in front of and below the building. Parking on the grassy sidewalk strip heading into town and in front of the large trees, which was previously tolerated despite causing no obstruction, is now being strictly enforced by the Puppenbüttel police station and has become a lucrative source of revenue. Unfortunately, this means we will no longer be able to visit this restaurant. A definite recommendation for pedestrians!

The initial impression of the premises was very good, but the second impression suffered considerably because the noise level in the "winter garden" made it nearly impossible to have a relaxed conversation. We opted for the lunch menu to try out the restaurant, and the selection was adequate. The food was very tasty – we ordered beef goulash, calf's liver, pan-fried fish, and kale. Given the unappealing selection at around €12 and the noise level, we skipped dessert. The service could be improved – instead of Spätzle, the fried potatoes arrived with the goulash, and the waiter only served mustard with the kale. After asking, the Spätzle finally arrived from the kitchen, and the fried potatoes were added to the kale. Because the food was so good, we will give Pfeiffers another chance, but we will request a quieter table when making our reservation.

This is my absolute favorite place! The food is delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with love. The service is first-class – always friendly, attentive, and fast. The ambiance is simply amazing: cozy, stylish, and perfect for feeling at home. A thoroughly enjoyable experience every time – highly recommended!

We went to Pfeiffers for a very good friend's 60th birthday. At 5:50 p.m., it was still very empty and pleasantly quiet. Unfortunately, our table was next to a very stylish lamp, but also uncomfortable to sit in. They quickly moved the table forward a bit, and we were all perfectly seated. 👌🏼 The food was truly delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent. One point deducted for the high volume when the front section was almost full. It became quite unpleasant at times. And our vocal cords were strained by the background noise. Otherwise, the restaurant is highly recommended. The cuisine is top-notch, whether it was the main course, appetizers, or dessert. It was delicious! If you're looking for something special, this is the place to be. Thank you for the lovely evening!!

First, the best part: The food was absolutely fantastic, except for the minor issue that the crème brûlée was almost cold. Just as we'd always expected, and that's why we'll be back. However, there were a few things we didn't quite like. First, the reception at the entrance – nice and friendly is a different story. We had a reservation for the winter garden, and the only thing we heard was, "It didn't work out." Yes, you could put it that way, but it certainly could be said differently. Demanding advance notice might be a bit much. But an apology like, "Unfortunately, we're having a larger event in the winter garden, but you'll get another nice table," could have been offered. The fact that it ended up being a relatively central table with a lot of back and forth near the bar didn't make things any better. Which isn't so nice either, when you're scolding colleagues in a way that the guest can see and hear. That's rather unpleasant for everyone involved. Last but not least—but that's not your fault—there was quite a traffic jam outside as we were leaving. But you also shouldn't allow other guests (or anyone else) to block the parking lot. Your restaurant manager is always a positive highlight—thank someone in heaven for that gentleman. Now let's hope that one or two of these things won't happen again next time. And as I said, since the food was excellent, we will definitely be back.

Very nice atmosphere in the conservatory at a window table. We appreciated that bread and dip were already on the table. Our order was taken quickly, and the wait time was reasonable.

Addendum from September 14, 2025 Stocks has become Pfeiffers. The interior has become noticeably more welcoming, and otherwise, almost everything in terms of staff is the same, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, the lunch menu had some minor weaknesses this time. The very tasty soup was just warm but not really hot, which meant the salmon filling was raw, which didn't bother us. The chicken for the main course was very dry, but tasty. It wasn't all that bad, but it wasn't perfect either. We visited our favorite restaurant several times; it was a Saturday evening and it was really busy. The rush on the kitchen may have been the reason why things didn't run as smoothly as usual this time. We had two Wiener Schnitzel, good as always, and two Sommerwock (summer wok), one with shrimp and one with fillet tips. The shrimp were cooked a little too long in the wok but still okay, but the beef fillet tips were overcooked and unseasoned, and therefore unfortunately not worth the price. What bothered us most were the indefinable, hard stripes that crisped up the vegetables. Tasteless and with the consistency of uncooked noodles, it turned out upon inquiry that it was actually fried spring roll batter. Adding a crispy texture is certainly a good idea, but not like this! We're still looking forward to our next visit to Stocks.

I came across Pfeiffer through a really well-made video – I usually skip past that, but somehow it really appealed to me. The atmosphere came across instantly. I went there with my girlfriend – we were both pleasantly surprised. Very authentic, really good food, and not overpriced. I would definitely recommend it.

Although our request for the wedding was very short notice, Pfeiffers/Piso Uno won us over from the start. We were particularly impressed that a colleague even contacted us from her vacation to support us. She was very communicative, immediately offered suitable solutions, and put us in touch for further planning. From the very first meeting, we felt completely at home at Piso Uno. All our wishes were implemented, thus relieving us of a lot of stress. Even when the celebration took its own course and the planned times became difficult to stick to, the venue responded flexibly and calmly at all times. The food was wonderful and delighted our guests. The additional Maybach service was the icing on the cake. Special thanks go to Burak, who, as restaurant manager, accompanied us in the planning and provided us with dedicated and competent support at all times. We are very happy that we found this venue and would like to express our sincere thanks to the entire staff. From the driver to the owner, the service was first-class. We can recommend Pfeiffers/Piso Uno to everyone and would be happy to come back.

Great location, pleasant ambiance, and very good food! Our server was very kind and attentive (she decorated our dessert as a birthday surprise because she had noticed it was my husband's birthday). We were only a little unhappy with the reception at the restaurant entrance. The greeting seemed a bit cold and unemotional. Of course, that could depend on how we were feeling that day, but we're not deducting a star for that. The food left nothing to be desired.

Dinner. Parking is a disaster. There are far too few secure parking spaces for the size of the restaurant. Parking is either on a two-lane thoroughfare with heavy traffic, where you yourself become a traffic obstruction, or you have to park hundreds of meters away. A recommendation to the city of Hamburg to establish a no-parking zone on the street is in preparation. The food and drink are good, but expensive for Hamburg; you won't get anything under €60 per person. It's loud, depending on where you have to sit.

First time there and absolutely thrilled.

The change from "Stocks" to "Pfeiffer" didn't do the restaurant any good. The food was overpriced for reheated, not really fresh food. The service was slow and didn't meet their own standards. Guests need to develop a personal relationship with the staff, otherwise they'll only get mediocre food.

Very nice restaurant in Alstertal. The food was absolutely delicious. The time between the starter and the main course was a bit long (40 minutes), especially since two people didn't have any. But otherwise, everything was great. The prices were just about right.

I haven't seen such young people serving in a long time. Many were under 20! They were super friendly and seemed so professional that everything seemed perfectly balanced. It's always beautiful and delicious

Something has changed. Our phone order was forgotten, so we ended up standing in the lobby, in the parking lot, or sitting in our car for 30 minutes. It wasn't a big deal; we've had to wait a few times before, but we usually got a drink and a seat to pass the time. It's a shame; we were surprised. The food was world-class, as always.

We can't comment on the food at the new owner's, but we tried to celebrate our birthday there with about 50 friends because it was recommended to us. However, an elderly lady on the phone repeatedly put us off, asking us to come back on another day for an in-person meeting, or we didn't receive a response at all. We've now chosen a different location for our celebration, and planning is going smoothly there. Please work on your communication.

The food is unusual and delicious. The warm teriyaki sauce with the sushi was a very tasty surprise. We had a table on the terrace, and the service was very attentive, and the food arrived in a reasonable time. Only the smoking lady at the next table was a nuisance. A smoking ban would be welcome.

It was wonderful! I had mentioned my husband's milestone birthday when making the reservation, and the staff very appreciatively surprised him several times. The food was fantastic and the portions were really generous. The evening exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be back!

The restaurant may have changed its name, but little else has — the interior, menu, and general feel remain the same. Housed in a charming thatched building, it offers a few parking spaces directly outside, with more available on the street nearby. Inside, the layout features a bar tucked in the far left corner, black tables paired with industrial-style clustered light fixtures, and exposed wooden ceiling beams that add rustic character. Gold waist-height dividers with wooden trim attempt to segment the space but don’t add much warmth. While the service has slightly improved compared to the Stocks days — when we sometimes had to flag down staff ourselves — it still falls short of being genuinely welcoming. It’s functional at best: inconsistent, occasionally cold, and not especially attentive. The food arrives in large portions, though unfortunately quantity doesn’t make up for quality. The black miso cod, served lukewarm, was a dry and overcooked fillet on a bed of bland mashed potatoes. It came with stale purple potato chips that lacked crunch and clearly hadn’t been freshly made. The schnitzel was generous in size but similarly uninspired — bordering on bland. However, the accompanying potato discs were nicely done and stood out as the best part of the dish. Lighting remains a notable issue — harsh and poorly placed wall fixtures cause glare, particularly problematic at the table adjacent to one of the wall mounts. In summary, despite a name change and minor improvements in service, the experience remains middling. The setting has charm, but execution in both hospitality and cuisine still leaves much to be desired.

We celebrated with 30 people at Piso Uno on Friday. It was simply world-class. The rooms, including the rooftop terrace, are stylish and cozy, the food is excellent, and the service was fantastic. Everything was just perfect, so even the most critical guests had nothing to complain about. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

The food is mediocre to good, depending on the dish. I was very bothered by the dead flies all over the windowsill. Expensive restaurant in a good location.

We were invited to a 50th wedding anniversary party. A friendly young man took our order. The appetizer arrived far too quickly. Unfortunately, one dish was incorrect; carpaccio was served instead of sushi. With an apology, a replacement arrived very quickly?! The main course, which also arrived very quickly, was a disappointment: only two types of fish instead of three. The wolffish was inedible. The mustard sauce was thin and lacked mustard flavor. The ends of the beef roulade were dry and tough. As compensation, they offered schnapps?! Without asking, a waiter came before we paid and poured us more wine from a different bottle! The long-planned ride home in the Maybach didn't work out either. Not a good experience.

Very relaxed, and I had roast with red cabbage, potatoes, a nice salad, and a beer that was fantastic. There was also a small dessert, the service was very attentive, and the ambiance was very nice.

We were at the new Pfeiffers for the first time today. The food was truly exceptional. I had a rack of lamb with beans and rosemary potatoes. It couldn't have been better. Cooked absolutely perfectly. Absolutely superb meat, beautifully presented. Simply first-class. And then the service was fantastic. What more could you want? If I had one complaint, it would be the menu on the clipboard. Very unwieldy. Could perhaps be improved.

After the change of management, I can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant. The food was consistently very good – creative, delicious, and varied. I was particularly impressed by the new, bright decor, which gives the space a modern and friendly ambiance. One small drawback is the acoustics: Due to the open layout and the large number of guests, it can get quite loud. The service, on the other hand, impresses with its professionalism and unobtrusive presence – always there when you need them. Overall, a successful development that is definitely worth a visit.

Wife and I both ate 'Surf & Turf' (beef fillet with prawns). We also drank an excellent red wine from South Tyrol. The fillet was cooked perfectly medium rare. The side dishes like gratin or spinach were very tasty. In our opinion, the price of €45 per meal and €60 for the bottle of wine is reasonable. The service was nice and friendly. The parking situation is simply annoying. You won't find anything in the surrounding area; I just found a 'ticket' from the not so friendly Hamburg police. 🙄

Five of us were at Pfeiffer's and had a great evening! Four of us had the schnitzel – perfectly breaded, super tender and tasted great. The fillet steak was also cooked to perfection and was a real highlight. The service was attentive and very friendly, the atmosphere was stylish and cozy. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love. We'll definitely be back!
