Mytropolis in Leipzig

We used the delivery service for a birthday and were very satisfied with the service, punctuality, and the food. The portions were very generous and the food was delicious. All in all, we were very happy. We would gladly order again.

Exceptionally friendly, attentive, and attractive service. The food was delicious and reminded me of my last holiday in Greece.

The ambiance, the food, and the service are absolutely top-notch, with excellent quality meat and exceptionally tender meat. The prices are unfortunately quite high, correspondingly.

I've visited the restaurant several times, and each time it's been a delight. The food is excellently prepared, flavorfully balanced, and lovingly presented. The service is always attentive and warm. A place where you simply feel at home.

This is the third or fourth time we've been to Mytropolis as a couple, and we've been absolutely thrilled each time! The food... AMAZING!!! We tried a few things, and it was always fantastic. I particularly like the fact that this isn't a typical Greek menu like you'd find in almost every Greek restaurant; instead, there are truly amazing, varied, and simply different, even more sophisticated starters and dishes. The quality is also top-notch! The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired. The service... UNBEATABLE!!! It really couldn't be better! Even when the restaurant is completely full, you feel perfectly taken care of by the service. I can only rave about this restaurant and look forward to the next time! *****10 stars *****

The food takes forever.... The atmosphere outside is lovely under the umbrella by the floodplain forest, but there's no light, poor lighting - definitely plan on having a full battery with a cell phone flashlight. In the parking lot, they should at least have an RS Audi on display, better yet, a Porsche GT2, otherwise the first impression will be ruined... And make a reservation, otherwise your colleagues from the profession will already be there. The service staff are super cool, it's fun 🤩

Exquisite dishes 👌🏻Gyros in Metaxa sauce, my favorite 👌🏻😋 I've never had Greek food as delicious as here! The villa is beautiful, the details and decor 😍 totally my taste. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I've been there 3 times now and I'm never disappointed; it's a sure place to visit in Leipzig. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

It was really delicious, we got a table even though we didn't have a reservation, which was so nice given the garden area was really full, the waiters were really friendly and the food was exceptionally good!!

Wir sind zufällig auf das Mytropolis gestoßen und glücklicherweise bekamen wir auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch. Das Personal war super freundlich und immer aufmerksam. Das Essen TOP - das beste Gyros, welches wir je gegessen hatten. Prei Leistung stimmt absolut und das Ambiente ist auch sehr nett. Leider sind wir hier nur zum Urlaub - sonst wären wir öfters hier. Absolute Weiterempfehlung💪

Extremely friendly staff, courteous, and attentive. Today I had a fantastic lentil salad with fried pike-perch, mashed potatoes, and mango sauce. World-class! Big compliments to the kitchen.

The restaurant is located in a very beautiful villa dating back to 1866. The rooms have great potential for attractive design, but in our opinion, this potential has only been partially exploited. There are many bare walls that do not contribute to the feel-good atmosphere. Michelangelo's David also seemed completely out of place and kitschy. But that's just a side note, because everything else really impressed us. First and foremost, the fantastic food. We opted for a grill platter, which is available for groups of two or more. Everything was simply delicious! The meat tasted incredibly good on the tongue and I had to force myself to eat slowly. Perfectly cooked to perfection and unbelievably delicious! Thanks to the kitchen and also to the friendly staff who looked after us diligently. We would gladly come back.

Ein besonderer Grieche in einer imposanten Villa. Schöner Außenbereich und innen sachlich dezent und nicht der übliche blau-weiße Schnickschnack. Nette Bedienung, angenehme Speisenauswahl, das, was ich probiert habe, war sehr schmackhaft. Ein besserer Grieche als der Durchschnitt.

A beautiful ambiance in an old villa. The outdoor area is located in a beautifully landscaped courtyard. Parking is also available on-site. A real recommendation for me!

The food was very tasty, well seasoned and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the price for the dish for two people wasn't clearly stated, and the final bill surprised us a bit. It would be helpful to display the information in the menu more clearly, especially with prices “per person”. The service was friendly.

The taste of the meat was almost unsurpassable, only in Magdeburg did I have a more extensive offering in a Greek restaurant, but not this idyll.

Very tasty Greek cuisine in a great atmosphere with very courteous staff. Never pushy, good advice. It only costs 2-3 euros more than usual, but it pays off in full. We'll be back!

I've been to over a hundred Greek restaurants and have been coming to Mytropolis on and off for over 20 years. There are very good Greeks and there is Mytropolis, which towers over everything. Always unrivaled and the quality has been at an extremely high level for years. The two chefs have brought it to perfection and I have wanted to steal the recipe for the (best) tzatziki (ever) several times. Always worth a visit and the money is quickly put into perspective. Great cinema!

We ate here for the first time last night. We first asked for the menu as we both don't eat meat and were a bit skeptical about the usual Greek cuisine :) We were warmly welcomed. The service was always very courteous without being intrusive. The starter and also the main course octopus 🐙 were excellent, the wine selection was delicious. 😋 Absolute recommendation, the prices are high, but this is more of a noble Greek restaurant, the price-performance ratio is right. We were the last ones and it wasn't unpleasant as we felt welcome and at home and had no pressure to leave. I wish you a wonderful Orthodox Christmas 🎄

Wir haben mit Freunden die Silvesterfeier 24/25 hier verbracht. Der Service und die Qualität der Speisen waren ausgezeichnet, was uns bei früheren Besuchen bereits aufgefallen war. Obwohl das Restaurant komplett ausgebucht war, gab es eigentlich keine Wartezeiten bei den Getränken. Das Rinderfilet war absolut perfekt. Herzlichen Dank und weiter so.

I had promised more! The tables were very, very narrow! This made it seem uncomfortable and very loud, despite the cute interior design. The quality of the food was not commensurate with the price. We all missed the Greek hospitality. After we got our food, we left You can no longer see any service to perhaps ask for additional drinks, and not even at the neighboring tables. We all found it disappointing.

We arrived 14.08.2024 in evening and it was closed. Only at the door will be written that everyone is on vacation.

We sat in the beer garden, which is also beautifully landscaped. The staff was very accommodating and we were served quickly. I chose a skewer plate and was a little disappointed, I had imagined something different. I found 26 euros for fries, rice and a skewer with 4 different types of meat a bit excessive. Maybe my expectations were a little too high.

It was very nice. The food was well prepared and tasted great, but there was a problem when paying with a card. If we hadn't had any cash with us, what would have been there

Update July 2024::still great. Had a great evening in the garden yesterday. The staff is very friendly and attentive and you feel welcome. The restaurant itself is quite neutral but stylishly furnished. Yesterday we sat behind the villa in a beautiful, secluded patio. The menu offers a large selection of food & drinks and a changing special offer menu. The food was served in a generous portion and tasted as expected. The price is a little higher than other Greek restaurants, but the quality and taste make up for it. This restaurant is fully recommended!

Dies nennen wir mal, Hammer geschult... Einfach nur Hervorragend...!!! Man fühlt sich hier wirklich, sorry, ,,SAUWOHL"... Wenn man hier ist, könnte die Zeit auch gern mal stehen bleiben... Came unannounced for dinner with 16 people and the staff rotate like clockwork!

We were a guest on Sunday, May 19, 2024 as a long-time regular customer. We always ordered the same menu sequence. This time I ordered something different and due to my cold I found the taste of the main course different than usual. When I asked standardized questions about satisfaction, I shared my feelings with the understanding that it could possibly be due to my cold that I perceived the food differently. (We have always been satisfied over the years). When paying the bill, I was surprised to see that both my main course and my daughter's children's meal had been taken off the bill. I was a little embarrassed, but the manager of the house assured me that “everything happens sometimes.” Great gesture from our regular Greeks. Would love to come back.

By far the best Greek in Leipzig! We have been eating here regularly for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. All the dishes we have tried so far have always been excellent! Absolute recommendation!

I celebrated my birthday twice in this restaurant in, I think, Gohlis Süd with 6-8 friends/colleagues and was probably there four other times. Without much comment: for my 60th birthday I gave the highest tip ever in L.E. given. Almost 50 euros on top of that showed my satisfaction. For me the best Greek restaurant in Leipzig, well, I haven't been to all of them!

We were here two days in a row because the food was so excellent. A friendly family business in a beautiful villa. Even in summer you can sit outside nicely. Whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, everything was perfectly prepared. The price is also right because the portions are large. We'll definitely be back.

Ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Wir besuchen schon seit vielen Jahren das Restaurant. Die Qualität der Speisen blieben immer auf sehr hohem Niveau. Besonders die Fischgerichte wie Octopus, Kalamari und Garnelen sind grandios. Auch empfehlenswert sind leckeren vegetarischen Vorspeisen! Der Service ist zwar sehr jung, aber sehr nett!

Typisch griechische Speisen mit gehobenen Niveau sowie gute Weine sind hier Standard. Die Bedienung und der Service sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert 😊

Schöner Grieche, essen war lecker, aber absoluter Minuspunkt es gab nicht einen Ouzo aufs Haus (wahrscheinlich nur für Stammgäste was wir mitbekommen haben).
