MYLOS - Satzinger Mühle in Nürnberg

Wir waren am 06. Juni 2026 zu Dritt dort essen. Resümee: Eines der besten griechischen Restaurants, in dem wir bisher gespeist haben. Schon die Qualität des Vorspeisentellers unterscheidet sich erheblich vom Standard. Jede Vorspeise hat das gewisse Etwas und schmeckt besonders. Als Hauptspeise hatten wir Lammfilet mit Gyros, Musaka und Hühnchen mit Metaxasoße. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden mit dem Essen. Alles top Qualität und mit hervorragendem Geschmack. Nicht zuletzt das außerordentlich freundliche Personal sorgte für einen perfekten Abend. Anmerkung: Man sollte bedenken, dass ein Tisch am Bach zwar sehr romantisch, aber wegen des schnell fließenden Wassers auch etwas laut sein kann. Vielen Dank, wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

Mittlerweile eines der einzigsten Restaurants wo man für ca. 30 € bei TOP Qualität pap satt wird. Neben einer super leckeren Vorspeise (Tipp: Pita Spezial) über einen Beilagensalat (gibt es fast auch nirgends mehr, dass der im Preis der Hauptspeise enthalten ist) bis hin zu der Hauptspeise Top. Dazu noch guter Service, ein schönes Ambiente direkt an der Pegniz im Grünen und Fassbier gepaart mit einem Absacker runden dieses Essen perfekt ab. Alles in allem 4,98/5 Sternen 👏

Ich hatte hier eine Reservierung gehabt und musste trotzdem 25 Minuten warten. Mir wurde gesagt ich solle warten doch es passierte nichts, ich war sehr enttäuscht und bin gegangen. Ich muss leider ein Stern geben sonst kann ich das hier nicht abschicken.

Ich war bereits schon einmal da, da hat eigentlich alles gepasst. Diesmal war das alles aber sehr sehr schlecht abgehandelt: Tisch reserviert für 18:30 Uhr, da gewesen um 18:25 Uhr ZUM TISCH gebeten worden um 18:50 Uhr. Weitere 10 Minuten einfach hocken gelassen worden. Die Bedienung lässt in aller Ruhe einen 15er Tisch!!!!! bezahlen, anstatt einfach mal unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen, damit wir schonmal Getränke etc. hätten oder die Küche bereits mit der Zubereitung der Gerichte beginnen könnte. Es war nicht wirklich viel Betrieb. Die Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt, überall sah es unordentlich aus aber auch sonst wurde ja nicht wirklich bedient. Das erste Mal, dass wir „bedient“ wurden, war um 19:13 Uhr…. Essen kam um 19:58 Uhr. Unfassbarer Reinfall heute. Sehr sehr schade.

Am Samstag um 18 Uhr war das Lokal schon sehr voll und laut; das Ambiente muss man mögen etwas zu überladen, zu dunkel, Decken zu tief. Das Essen - auf was wir länger warten mussten ca 3/4 Std. -war für uns Standard der Reis leider verkocht, die Sardinen verbrutzel die Portiogrößen gut. Uns fehlte letztendlich die Würze z.B. eine Zitronen zum Fisch. Die leeren Teller standen zu lange am Tisch. Service und Inhaber nett. Insgesamt die Stimmung recht hektisch. Toiletten unrenoviert seit "Satzinger".

Einer der besten griechischen Restaurants in Nürnberg. In einer ruhigen Lage nahe Wöhrder See. Die Speisen sind vom vom Gyros über Moussaka bis hin zum Grillteller ist alles lecker. Unsere Essen wurden alle zusammen mit einem leckeren Salat serviert. Auch toll ist, dass es immer Weißbrot mit einem Olivenaufstrich gibt. Auch der Ouzo darf nicht fehlen und wird angeboten. Das Ambiente ist toll und die Location lädt zum verweilen ein. Der Service ist ebenfalls tadellos. Zusammenfassend kann ich dieses Restaurant sehr empfehlen. Freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch. Preislich teuerer aber noch ok.

Die Speisen sind sehr schön angerichtet und schmackhaft. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und schnell. Leider hat das Zaziki wie ich finde zu wenig Knoblauch. Im Sommer ist eine große Terrasse geöffnet mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Die Preise sind für griechische Lokale höher als der Durchschnitt.

Der Besuch war insgesamt sehr unzufriedenstellend. Entgegen der vorherigen Absprache wurde ein bereits bestelltes und bezahltes Essen nicht zur Mitnahme ausgehändigt, sondern entsorgt. Zudem wurde ein anderes Gericht serviert als bestellt. Eine Beilage, die ausdrücklich abbestellt und durch eine andere ersetzt werden sollte, wurde dennoch zusätzlich berechnet. Nach ausdrücklicher Nachfrage nach einer Quittung mussten wir feststellen, dass darauf außerdem zwei Positionen aufgeführt waren, die nicht bestellt wurden. Der Service war wenig transparent und wirkte nicht authentisch. Insgesamt entstand ein sehr unangenehmes Gefühl während des Aufenthalts. Aufgrund der fehlerhaften Abrechnung und der mangelhaften Servicequalität ist diese Bewertung leider gerechtfertigt.

Sehr leckeres Essen, zu Anfang aufmerksame, freundliche Begrüßung, sehr schönes Ambiente, leider nur drei Sterne, weil uns, obwohl genügend Servicekräfte vorhanden, niemand mehr gefragt hat, ob wir ein zweites Getränk haben möchten.

Von außen ist die Satzinger Mühle noch immer ein recht betagtes Gemäuer, von innen inzwischen ein ganz großartiger Grieche, hochwertig und mit Liebe komplett neu eingerichtet. Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Essen top, Lammhaxe mit Kritharaki-Nudeln unbedingt zu empfehlen, bis zum Beilagensalat und dem Knoblauchbrot sind alle Speisen perfekt zubereitet. Parken fast vor der Tür kein Problem. Preislich absolut okay, in Anbetracht von Ambiente und Qualität.

I ate liver, some of the best I've ever had. The staff was friendly and the service excellent. The atmosphere is completely different from the Greek restaurants you find in Germany.

We held our Christmas party there for 22 people. Despite the many different orders and some last-minute changes on our part, they always reacted calmly and efficiently. The food arrived quite quickly despite the restaurant being full. Mylos Restaurant left a thoroughly positive impression on everyone! Thank you so much! :)

We ate there on a public holiday. It was very busy, and unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for our food. This was particularly unpleasant with children. A good 1.5 hours from arrival to the main course is simply too long. I would like to commend the friendly (main) server, who took our complaints seriously and offered us a complimentary meal and a couple of ouzos. Otherwise, it took quite a while to be served, receive menus, and have our order taken. It was perhaps simply too busy that day, and there were probably some staff shortages. Perhaps this could be mentioned at the beginning; these things happen, so customers can be prepared and more understanding. The food was good and plentiful, so we might still try it again on a quieter day and give it another chance.

Unfortunately, across the board – except for the vegetarian moussaka, which I understand is quite a chore – the food is extremely overpriced. I was shocked by the price of a cup of tea (a tea bag for €4.50). The food quality is average, or rather, it has declined. I ate there often because of its location and the popularity of the place, but there were one or two major blunders with the food, which made up for the one or two excellent experiences. The service also needs improvement. When the restaurant is full, there are extremely long wait times, and no apology is offered for this, etc.

We had a truly pleasant dining experience here – the food was surprising good, fresh and crafted with care. The service was friendly and attentive, and you really felt welcomed. The restaurant exudes a lovely atmosphere: cozy yet stylish, making you feel right at home. For me, the combination of great food + good service + pleasant setting hit the mark. My recommendation: if you’re up for a relaxed evening with nice food – go to Mylos.

I liked the place. Waiters were very friendly and kind. We were a relatively large group and some of us had trouble speaking German, but the staff still did their best and went out of their way to communicate with us. I asked one of the waiters about two dishes, and he gave me a nice recommendation. I was really happy because his recommendedation was just amazing! I might have expected a relatively larger portion size for the price we paid, but other than that, everything was perfect! I will surely go there again.

A nice restaurant with mainly Greek dishes.

The food tastes very good and is attractively presented (those looking for huge mounds of gyros should go somewhere else). The portions are just right. The service is quick and friendly, the ambiance rather modern. A highlight in the summer is sure to be the large terrace in a quiet setting.

Today, October 9, 2025, we reserved a table for two people online for October 10, 2025. We selected a free date. The reservation request was canceled after some time without comment. As a guest, you would expect better communication here. Booked dates shouldn't be available for selection. Others can do it better.

You have to like the rather dark and not-at-all-traditional ambiance. The food on offer is rather mediocre, and a Greek housewife would probably go to Xanthippe for the "Greek" salad with balsamic vinegar served there... What a shame!

The upside and the downside... Great ambiance, but the food was just so-so, e.g., tasteless vegetarian moussaka, and the service was also mediocre, e.g., no bread with the salad... and even when asked for it, it was forgotten; plus point: a free espresso as compensation.

We had lunch at MYLOS today on the beautiful terrace. The ambiance, with the old mill wheel and the water, is truly beautiful and unique. The food was incredibly good and consistently fresh. We've rarely had such good Greek food in Nuremberg. The portions were large and absolutely sufficient—something that's becoming increasingly rare in Greek restaurants. A delicious frappe rounded it all off, and the ouzo afterwards was also delicious. The only downside was, unfortunately, the service: unattentive, empty plates sat on the table for ages, and no one asked if everything was okay; you didn't really feel welcome as a guest.

A very nice restaurant with good food, but unfortunately it's very loud and very cramped. The tables are so close together that it's almost impossible to get through.

We spent a wonderful evening in the beer garden at the Satzinger Mühle. The ambiance is truly fantastic – idyllic, cozy, and perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the view. The food was consistently delicious, freshly prepared, and full of flavor. The value for money was also absolutely spot on. We'd definitely be happy to come back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

A very nice location in itself, with a lovely terrace lined with beautiful, expensive umbrellas. If you're sensitive to spiders, don't look at the umbrellas—they're teeming with them, you'll lose your appetite. Regarding the service: we asked the waitress a question about a dish, but she couldn't answer it straight away, which isn't a problem. The lady tried to clarify it and then give us the correct answer. It took 15 minutes before we realized that we had been forgotten or not understood. After ordering our starter and main courses from a different waitress, we had to wait another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Unfortunately, the main courses arrived straight away, while the starter was simply forgotten. The food was delicious, but in my opinion, not worth the price.

The service was unfortunately not good, but the food was simple, quick, and fantastic. Finding good, authentic Greek dishes in Germany isn't easy, but it was truly delicious. The drinks were good and varied. The ambiance with the river and the waterwheel at sunset was simply magical. It's beautifully decorated both inside and out.

First, the positives: The food tasted very good, the portions were very generous, and it arrived very quickly. Unfortunately, our table wasn't cleaned properly. We were looking forward to a nice evening. We didn't like the atmosphere there. When we wanted to place our order after a long wait (which was perfectly fine, as the terrace outside was very crowded), the waiter abruptly and hectically said, "Drinks first, then the food." So we sat there for another 10 minutes until we were "allowed" to place our food order. We were hungry and wanted to have our appetizers with the main course, if possible. When I asked if it would be faster if the appetizers came first, the waiter repeatedly interjected, annoyed, "He'd already put it in, we wanted everything together." It's understandable, it was busy, but there were still enough staff on site, and customers shouldn't be fobbed off as if they were in a cafeteria! They forgot to add a glass to my Coke and it took 15 minutes to bring it. Normally, you pour a drink for the guest, and we had to take our plates from the waiter's tray, and then they left without a comment. "Enjoy your meal or something similar" was also missing. We won't be back, but not because we didn't like the food; rather, we expect a bit more courtesy for the higher price. Perhaps it was the heat that day that meant no one smiled and just seemed annoyed, but you shouldn't make customers feel like they're being bothered by a paying guest.

A good Greek restaurant. The salad had probably been dressed for a few minutes, so some of it was a bit mushy. The other dishes (moussaka and bifteki) were good. Unbeatable, however, is the terrace right on the Pegnitz River with a view of a historic mill wheel!

The staff was super friendly and prompt, despite the large number of guests. The food (starter, main course, champagne) was excellent – ​​everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The menu offers a wide selection. A clear 5 stars – we'd love to come back!
