Restaurant Zabo-Park in Nürnberg

I love eating there, especially in the summer when you can sit outside. It's always like a mini-vacation in Greece. A vacation with friends. Good friends. By that, I mean the staff, and especially the owner, are incredibly friendly and even friendly. I love the food there, although I have to say I usually order one of my two favorite dishes. They taste so good that I can't bring myself to order anything else. Small changes to dishes are no problem, and if something isn't quite as I'd hoped, they take care of it immediately. It's a shame I haven't had as many opportunities to visit lately. I'd love to eat there more often and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. You can also order takeout. When it's busy, you can definitely tell from the noise level inside, but it's tolerable, and you can still have a good conversation. Keep it up, Zabo-Park! <3 Addendum: Even fans of Wiener Schnitzel will find something to their liking here. In my opinion, it's the best schnitzel around: not too thin like so many others, juicy, tender, and absolutely delicious.

Great Greek restaurant, one of the best in Nuremberg. Beautiful decor and furnishings, very clean. If noise bothers you, avoid busy times. The owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming, the food is fantastic, and there's a huge selection. Please keep up the good work!

The pasta is many days old, the salad is stale, the waiter is rude

The food has definitely tasted better in the past. The baked calamari was flavorless and rubbery, and there was almost no breading on it, so it wasn't even crispy. The schnitzel was also very tasteless. There was no salt or pepper on it, and the breading wasn't seasoned. Unfortunately, the value for money isn't right. As always, the service was excellent and super friendly. The garden is also really cozy, with plenty of shade.

Very nice garden. The chef and waiters are very engaging and friendly. The calamari is good, and there's also tzatziki. The salad could have included a small piece of feta cheese and one or two olives. Highly recommended!

Awesome! We were there for the first time yesterday, it was incredibly good! Top-notch tzatziki, delicious crispy saganaki, gyros that were incredibly crispy and spicy, proper calamari tubes 😍, and they also had galactoporeko 🤤, it was really hot! My husband later ate the cold leftovers that I couldn't finish and took with me, and even he was impressed! The service was also top-notch, very friendly! Amazing! Keep it up! We'll be back! 🫶🏼

After almost being forced to delete my review, I'm now rewriting it. We are probably too spoiled when it comes to meat quality. I have never been asked in a Greek restaurant whether I want squid tubes or rings because a plate of suflaki and squid is usually served with rings. Maybe the staff should point out to the guest that their platter is served with squid tubes and is not fried. I didn't eat anything except the saganaki, which was good enough to write something positive about.

An extremely good Greek. I had a rich lamb platter with fillet, chop and skewer plus fried potatoes instead of rice and salad for €21.90. My counterpart had half packed away. At the end there was free ouzo. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The boss greeted us with a handshake. Reserve your seats in advance! By the way: Afterwards, walk a bit in the forest and then into the cafe in the Wohnstift almost next door: great cakes and cakes and delicious coffee. All happy again!

Had lunch this Saturday. All in all: recommended. Starters: cold starter platter was very good, unfortunately the warm grape leaves didn't taste freshly made, slightly sour, I'm thinking glass/canned food here, that's not bad, but it contradicts the rest of the impression. The sauce over the grape leaves tasted very good. That's really a shame. The rest was very good. I would particularly like to recommend the veal liver. Thanks to the team.

Das Restaurant Zabo Park ist ein kleines aber Feines Griechisches Restaurant. Der Wirt ist immer bemüht das alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit ist. Finde ich persönlich schon mal sehr Sympathisch . Das Essen war Frisch und sehr lecker. Die Teller sind schön angerichtet . Auch das Auge isst mit. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, und man wurde Herzlich begrüßt . Dieses Restaurant kann ich gerne weiter empfehlen. Daumen Hoch

When we are in Nuremberg we love eating Greek food at the Zabo-Park restaurant. This is one of the best Greek restaurants in Nuremberg. The welcome is warm and familiar. The beer garden is great. Tasty and friendly as ever. The portions have become a little smaller, but that's OK. However, I think the ouzo should be free, or at least it should be pointed out that they are charged if you want some before the meal (some came again after the meal, that was the misunderstanding). Diet Coke 4.90 is perhaps a bit exaggerated. But at least you can pay by card here, which is a plus point 👍

I visited the Zabo Park restaurant again. As always, it was a feast for the palate. I tried something new and wasn't disappointed. Delivered here again. This time I tried souflaki in metaxa sauce with cheese gratin. There was also rice. It was very delicious. If you like Greek cuisine, you should definitely come here. I would happily recommend this restaurant.

A strange restaurant in Nuremberg!

I have often eaten here with my wife and son, friends or relatives or ordered to be picked up. It's nice to sit outside. It can get very crowded in the summer, especially on public holidays, but also on weekends. I would recommend making a reservation in such cases. In the cooler seasons, indoors is also recommended. Very friendly owner and staff. You are served very quickly and portions are quite large. You can then have it packed up to take with you if you can't make it. In terms of price, I think it's within a good range.
