The best currywurst in the world. Your food is ready in 2-3 minutes, and it's juicy, warm, and crispy, just perfect. Service is 10/10, very friendly and helpful. You definitely have to come at least once. The prices are perfect, and they offer discounts for students.

We ordered two BBQ chicken with pommes and lemonade.Chicken and pommes was 5/10.Lemonade was not cool they warned me but problem was not the how cool was it.Problem was itself so it was 3/10. On the other hand staffs were very kind and helpful,liked it. Quality of the food and drinks must be improved.🙋🏻‍♂️Best Regards

Amazing french fries experience!

A delicious alternative to the many other restaurants offering pizza, burgers, and so on. Just a quick currywurst with fries. Delicious soda to go with it, and the bread was warm and delicious. Above all, the owner is nice. We'll definitely stop by again if we're ever in HD again.

This is a fast-food restaurant where you can grab a quick meal. Because it's a chain, the menu was well-organized, and the food came out quickly. The staff spoke both German and English fluently, so communication was seamless. They also helped me order at a lower price. You could choose the level of spiciness. For Koreans, level 3 was about the same as regular ramen? Level 4 was about the same as Shin Ramyun. As the level increased, the food tended to be spicier and saltier. You absolutely must try the chili cheese fries! The rich, thick cheese sauce was delicious!

definetly wouldn’t call those the best fries in heidelberg. The restaurant looks nice, the service was kind and the food came fast. I ordered fries and they were cheap. The taste wasn’t good though. The spices were okay, the mayonnaise was alright but the fries weren’t fried enough. They were still raw inside.

Extremely unfriendly and irritated waitress. You can't ask for anything special or ask questions because you'll immediately get pissed off. Anyone who can't handle people shouldn't be served. The food is disgusting. A chicken burger with everything swimming in it, ready-made, disgusting meat. And then you're supposed to get a soft drink with the meal—but they don't even offer it without asking.

The service is fast and the food tastes good. However, the portions are quite small and the prices are comparatively high. But it's just about acceptable given the location.

We visited this Currywurst restaurant in Heidelberg, and the quality of the food was okay, exactly what you’d expect from good street food. We sat there to enjoy a casual meal, and for this type of food, it was a nice experience. Since it’s more of a street food spot, we didn’t expect high end quality, extreme hygiene, or fancy equipment. From that perspective, it was good, and it met our expectations. If we visit Heidelberg again, we’d definitely stop by to try it again, not as a main meal, but as a tasty snack or a light afternoon bite.

Unfortunately, bad reviews were deleted... But: Worst place in all of Heidelberg. The food is disgusting and has nothing to do with a German currywurst! The sausages rot on the stove all day at almost 100 degrees Celsius. It's completely overpriced and basically costs twice as much as any other C-wurst shop. The "economy menu" costs almost €10, and all you get is a small sausage and some old, overly thick, cardboard-tasting fries, and a 0.2 liter drink of your choice. Just one currywurst costs €4.90 and tastes like the greatest disgrace to culture. The curry sauce is mixed behind the counter with Heinz ketchup and Heinz BBQ sauce. It's a truly crappy sauce. The soda tastes like pure sugar water. The trays are completely dirty and greasy. The entire store is filthy. There are no restrooms. One employee, who appears to be the boss, acts feignedly friendly, but you can tell from the way she speaks to her employees that she's anything but nice. You don't feel welcome or well-served in this store, and overall, the service and quality of the food can't even compare to Burger King. Bills and receipts couldn't be issued, which gives me a strange feeling.

The staff was friendly, which was nice, but finding a good, affordable Currywurst spot these days can be tough. On the bright side, the fries were crispy and tasty! It’s not a terrible restaurant, if you just want a quick bite while exploring Heidelberg, it’s an okay option. :)

Yes, I haven't been there for a long time and this is the last time. € 12.90 for a so-called "double" currywurst with mini side dishes, around 10 pieces of fries and a 0.2 l cola. There can be no question of double sausage at all, normal to below average size. Absolutely poor value for money and not recommended. Yes, we live in “expensive” times, but this is just a rip-off.

Even though we did not clarify good what we wanted to eat , they gave us what we wanted with no extra cost from the initial one. As for the taste, its no wander so many people come here and give recommendations. Just perfect tender and crispy, with many different versions. Much appreciated.

My Currywurst Restaurant is a small cozy place on the touristy Hauptstrasse of Heidelberg city, serving delicious Chicken BBQ Fries, Vegan Currywurst, Guacamole Fries, Chilly Cheese Fries, Vegan Burgers etc. We enjoyed their Crispy Chicken and Fries on our visit to the city which was awesome. Priced reasonably with good servings was worth the value.

Excellent fast food in the city center I went to this fast food restaurant for lunch with my girlfriend during a day in Heidelberg. The restaurant is located along Hauptstraße, the main street of the historic city centre. Outside, on the public pedestrian street, there are some tables reserved for customers. You can choose different types of food and fixed price menus, I had a spicy cutlet with fries accompanied by a local beer. I found everything very good and tasty. The prices are honest and the service is fast.

Wanted to redeem a 2 for 1 deal for 2x vegan currywurst. The NeoTaste app says “Currywurst of your Choice”. In business it's just normal, instructions from the boss.

We had a currywurst menu and the chili cheese fries once. The currywurst was delicious. Luckily you can choose the level of spiciness, everyone should find something here. It worked for us. The fries and the piece of bread were OK, nothing special. There was also a small 0.2l Fanta (personally I'm not a fan of 0.2 bottles as there's hardly more than a sip in them). The chili cheese fries were run of the mill. Were OK, but nothing that you can't get on every corner. The bottom line is that it was good and the price was right.

Well suited for vegans! 🌱 I had the vegan menu, i.e. vegan currywurst, fries with mayo, a piece of bread and a soft drink. A portion that fills you up well. The currywurst tastes surprisingly similar to a traditional currywurst. The vegan mayo was also very tasty. I like that you can choose the spiciness of the currywurst. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair and definitely makes the visit worthwhile. I'd love to come back!

All'esterno, sulla pubblica strada pedonale, sono presenti alcuni tavolini riservati ai clienti. Si possono scegliere diverse tipologie di cibo e menu a prezzo fisso, lo ho preso una cotoletta piccante con patatine fritte accompagnata da una birra locale. Ho trovato tutto molto buono e gustoso. I prezzi sono onesti e il servizio è veloce.

The worst thing I've eaten so far was the menu I ordered at 2230 yesterday evening and I was really happy about it, although I have to mention it wasn't the first time that the sausage was lukewarm/cold. I have it with me When I ordered I mentioned that I wanted a hot or well-done sausage, the waitress put it on the aluminum foil and said it means well I get two cold sausages for me and the fries 🍟 real means only full of ferret fat uncertain bar and the whole thing for 12 euros 90 the operators should be ashamed of themselves, they should do a test meal secretly in their shop then maybe they would notice that the service is not the best when there are a bunch of girls in front of you and the young man takes care of them and the order takes a long time and incomplete then comes and said in German for .... so it tastes better, save the money and eat a donut or go to Bismarckplatz because at least it tastes good and is said to be well with the fries, the wkd should come and have a look.

Despite the good reviews, our experience was unfortunately very mediocre. In our opinion, the ambience of the restaurant was not very inviting, rather dark and not very comfortable. But that is subjective and everyone has to decide for themselves. The picture continued into the order/service. There was very little going on when we visited, and yet we were not given a friendly welcome or a lift. Even when we stood in front of the counter for a few minutes to think about what we wanted to order, there was no explanation or help about the offer. In other shops you are at least asked what your idea or taste preference is, so that you can then offer the menu accordingly, or perhaps try something new through recommendations... We were also not asked what type of sausage we would like. The colored water in the drink dispensers also seemed uninviting. Our order was then taken rather slowly and apparently "without any interest". And as we discovered when we picked it up, it wasn't complete either. The employee who took the order seemed subtly overwhelmed, his colleague at least apologized and then reliably took care of the rest. Then we had our food and unfortunately the first impression continued... My currywurst was at most lukewarm, and the sausage was a simple white bratwurst with a moderate taste. The sauce was okay, but lacked freshness and finesse. We've tried much better ones here. Then all that remains is the value. You understand correctly, the currywurst was okay, but in my opinion just mediocre. I would have preferred to pay a little more and try a consistently delicious product. And it wasn’t “cheap.” A portion of sweet potato fries for $5 that were only slightly crispy is not appropriate. When you put the chair on it, some of the catches have broken off where you put your feet on it and are just hanging loose. It's better to get 2 Viennese and throw them in the roll and have more of them.

Yummy the curry wurst for my order I got level 6 is hot. For people can’t take spicy please don’t order this level, and I mixed with guacamole fries so it can blend to reduce the heat.

Very tasty food and short waiting times. There are a number of unusual varieties, but of course there is also the classic currywurst. You can even choose the spiciness of the curry sauce yourself from a scale of 1-10. (Although level 3 is already pretty sharp). The food was ready very quickly, after about 2 minutes. The interior is quite small, but nicely decorated. However, there are hardly any seats inside and there aren't enough seats outside either and it's all a bit cramped. Would go again.
