I've been enjoying my Tacco Special for 30 years

Before talking about the food, the people working there were rude As we entered, he started screeming at us, we didn't understand why, They took some time to clean the tabel, he screemed at us again to take our order... We should've left at the very beginning.. idk why we stayed.. The food was edible, not mexican, the only good thing is that it is not expensive, 3 of us ate for 20 euros.... not recommend

Best food in all of Heidelberg!

I ate "wrist", which is a mixture of minced meat and chicken doner, although I'm not sure if it's called a wrap. I found it delicious, even though I found mixing the meat a little weird. In terms of atmosphere, I think it gives the impression of a kokoreç place where you go with your friends at night, rather than a restaurant. I liked it in its own context but

From the outside, the restaurant makes a very pleasant and tidy impression. However, upon entering we were neither greeted nor greeted with a friendly “Hello”. We were served straight away, which is generally positive. However, I emphasized several times that I only wanted my kebab with green salad, onions and spicy, while the other kebab was ordered with everything but no spiciness. Unfortunately we got exactly the opposite: My kebab had everything and was spicy, the other one only had lettuce and onions, but not spicy. Despite repeating it several times, our order was carried out incorrectly. The meat was very dry and the amount of sauce was too small for the above average price. In addition, the portions were smaller than expected, so we weren't really full. The interior of the restaurant is very attractive, but unfortunately the maintenance is lacking. I had to sit on a damaged seat, which further spoiled the overall impression.

Taco special was very tasty, the fries were also great and everything was perfect. Unfortunately, the toilet wasn't very clean and the tables hadn't been cleaned yet, so you should pay attention to that.

You can get everything under the sun at Gino's. I chose the tortilla. Actually the exact same content as a classic Dürum, just different bread. I don't know what's supposed to be Mexican here... The taste of the tortilla was good, but unfortunately it had a very bitter aftertaste, could be due to the salad and significantly worsened the entire taste experience. All in all, an okay store but nothing outstanding!

Was really excited to see all the "Mexican food" on the menu but turned out they have no clue what they're doing. Burrito is a large Taco. Taco is the size of a burrito. Fajita is the same as a Taco and a burrito. None of them taste how they should, nor do they contain what they are supposed to. The place was clean but empty and the staff was friendly.

They forgot my order and I waited 15 minutes. They are not excused. As for the food, my god it's salty.

Evaluation is difficult. Very nice staff. The last time I was here was 20 years ago and I could tell the food here from any other. The tacos were unique and that's what differentiated the food here from any kebab joint in this city. Now 2024 the food will be wrapped in regular wraps. It's still fine, but it's lost its uniqueness.

The service is friendly and you don't have to wait long until you get the food you ordered. The toilets are also clean.

Food wasn't to my taste. Next time I'll go to the Turkish restaurant and eat good Dürüm, it's tasty and cheaper. Service was very bad, there was no service. Had to get food and clean up myself, don't know what the service was like 🤔 Ambiance was standard. Of course it was my impression that everyone should have their own experience. I'm normally a very benevolent customer, but this was truly incredible. We ordered food an hour ago, the order was accepted and confirmed. Now, after an hour, the message “unfortunately your order has been canceled” suddenly appears. It's great that we were told this at a time when the food should already be there. By the way, nobody can be reached by phone. I'm really angry, this is miserable service. The fact that you don't even have the height to call is really cheeky. Now we're not only hungry for an hour longer, but there's also hardly a choice of open restaurants and then we have to wait again.

They didn't accept NeoTaste even though they were supposed to. Afterwards they were annoyed with us and very unfriendly. The food wasn't good at all, especially for the price. The vegetarian burrito consisted only of iceberg lettuce. The chicken burrito was all fat.

Vegetarian and vegan alternatives are an absolute disgrace! 3 beans and corn kernels, no sauce, no cheese if vegetarian, just iceberg lettuce with carrot as a topping! Taste = 0. When it comes to meat dishes, there's hardly any cheese and the little bit of cheese isn't even melted. Rarely have we eaten such bad Latin American food. 30€ for iceberg lettuce in a wrap, unfortunately no exchange possible

Will make this sweet and too the point. There are far more better options to eat at unless you like medicore food. You first of all have to stand in line to order and heaven forbid you want to modify what you want. Food is subpar when compared to other close by restarurants and worst of all, they overcharge for the food. You can take out or sit down to eat and hopefully your table and chairs are clean. Bottom line, much better places to eat then this place.

Six days ago we dined with four of my friends, two from Turkey and another from Russia. The owner of the restaurant told us: "Eat once, don't forget, my friends, try the food." of a real restaurant owner. The food is very tasty. On Saturday we are going to eat again because he is a restaurant owner. He is also a Galatasaray fan.

Can you just eat like that, food came cold, bread was cold, meat and fries were also cold. Vir cut and pre-fried. And overall tasteless, without salt or spices. Pizza was also made from canned tomatoes

A mix of Turkish and Mexican that takes some getting used to. Doner kebab in a tortilla. The pide was a type of pizza with feta and salad. It was very cold in the restaurant. But the staff was friendly.

Gino's Restaurant is a small place located in Heidelberg Altstadt. You can sit in or order for takeaway, though you'll have to order at the counter regardless. Food was quick and decent, though nothing special. The staff at the time was competent, the atmosphere on the other hand is not inviting. If you're just looking for a quick delicious chicken wrap, this might be the right place, but if you're looking to dine in, I'd probably recommend something else.

Had a wrap with 90% iceberg lettuce/cabbage - no taste, super cheap toppings for a price that was way too expensive

I've ordered a Gino's special to eat there for a while now. I noticed that the employee took money and then had my food in his hands to roll up. I couldn't help but make this comment. Then something new and fresh was prepared for me. I mentioned taking it anyway. OK. Food used to be brought to my table, not for me, but for two young men. Well, I thought and noticed that the meal contained more salad than anything else (e.g. also meat). For 7.90 E I find it outrageous!!! Had a short break and was looking forward to it. I'll be running again soon!!!

There was no salt on the fries, the so-called tacos were just dough filled with lettuce - it really wasn't tasty at all. Unfortunately we will never eat there again

Now I've been there again after a long time (since I don't live in HD anymore) Not comparable to Gino's from 30 or 20 years ago. The taste and appearance as well as the ingredients have deteriorated a lot. It's a shame. Service was good.

Quite good for a snack while strolling.

The place is quite small but still has about 10 tables where you can sit. You have to order at the counter and in my case they gave my sandwich to the guy after me (who had taken the same one) but shortly after they made up for the mistake. As for the sandwich, it wasn't anything special in my opinion, too much kebab and completely dry, I would have preferred it with a lot more sauce and vegetables
