Wir waren mittags im Müllers auf Norderney und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Kulinarisch hat uns das Restaurant voll überzeugt. Wir hatten das 2x Tatar sowie die Bouillabaisse und beides war hervorragend zubereitet. Die Qualität der Zutaten, die Präsentation und vor allem der Geschmack waren auf hohem Niveau. Gut fanden wir auch die Portionsgrößen. Sättigend, aber genau richtig bemessen. Zum Abschluss gab es noch Kaiserschmarrn, der ebenfalls gut war und das Essen schön abgerundet hat. Insgesamt ein tolles Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen und hervorragendem Service. Für uns definitiv eine Empfehlung auf Norderney. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren wochentags als Familie mit zwei Kindern zum Mittagessen dort. Der Service ließ keine Wünsche offen und war mehr als zuvorkommend und kinderfreundlich. Das Essen war wunderbar, alles von hervorragender Qualität und mit dem richtigen und gewissen Etwas an Regionalität und Bodenständigkeit. Definitiv kehren wir bei der nächsten Gelegenheit wieder ein.

Waren heute Mittag Essen. Meine Frau hatte reserviert und wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Freie Platzwahl und ein Tisch mit Aussicht auf das Meer war schnell gefunden. Meine Frau wollte unbedingt die Currywurst mit Fritten kosten, vorab einen kleinen gemischten Salat mit Himbeer Dressing, lecker. Ich hatte mich auf die Bouillabaisse gefreut und muß sagen der Geschmack war sehr gut. Vorab gab es noch schwarze Oliven und Sauerteigbrot mit Salzbutter. Leider war die Suppeneinlage nur in homöopathischen Mengen vorhanden. Mit den Garstufen würde Neslon Müller in der Küchenschlacht ausscheiden. Die Jakobsmuschel "well done", zwei Venusmuscheln in Fingernagelgröße, sowie die Garnele, waren auch "gut durch". Dank der aufmerksamen Servicekräfte "noch einen Espresso?" war der Gesammteindruck positiv.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort, und es war einfach großartig. Der Service war überragend und das Essen war göttlich. Eine absolute Empfehlung, wenn man sehr gut Essen möchte, und das in einem wunderbaren Ambiente.

Sehr angenehmes, ruhiges Ambiente. Freundliche, zurückhaltende und aufmerksame Bedienung. Auch der Besuch mit Hund war kein Problem. Dieser wurde sofort mit einem Wassernapf versorgt.

Sehr enttäuschend! Die Qualität des Essens ist bestenfalls als durchschnittlich zu bezeichnen. Die Vorspeise war TOTAL versalzen. Das Wiener Schnitzel hatte wenig mit einem Wiener Schnitzel gemeinsam und der dazu gereichte Kartoffelsalat war so sauer, dass man ihn nicht essen konnte. Das Schnitzel war zäh und mindestens doppelt so dick wie ein Wiener Schnitzel sein sollte. Die Panade war ungewürzt und bildete einen riesigen Ballon um das zähe Stück Kalbfleisch. Auf unsere Reklamation hin meinte der Koch, da sei ihm wohl beim Kartoffelsalat die Hand beim zugeben von Zitronensaft ausgerutscht. Und ja, das Schnitzel sei zu dick geschnitten (sonst kein Kommentar!). Das nächste mal würde er es besser machen😆. Was für eine Ausssage!!🤣 Eine Wiedergutmachung gab es keine. Stattdessen eine gesalzene Rechnung. DANKE lieber Nelson Müller für dieses "tolle" Essen. Du hast einen STERN? Den hätten wir Dir als Restauranttester sofort entzogen! Aber du warst ja selbst nicht vor Ort und hast das alles nicht selbst "verbrochen". Dennoch DEINE Verantwortung!

Besonders hervorzuheben ist die wundervolle Lage: Die Terrasse mit ihrem direkten Blick auf das Meer schafft eine einzigartige Atmosphäre und macht den Besuch zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Für mich eines der besten Restaurants auf Norderney – ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Das essen ist geschmacklich sehr gut und wird schnell serviert. Insgesamt ein rundum schönes Erlebnis. Ich komme gerne wieder :)

An incredibly delicious three-course meal. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The friendly, attentive, and customer-oriented staff deserves special mention. Everyone feels comfortable here while enjoying an excellent meal.

Whether it's hearty currywurst with champagne, fresh oysters, or a juicy steak from the butcher's counter – here, the taste of the sea is in every bite. A must for all gourmets on the island!

A very pleasant atmosphere and wonderful, attentive staff. My previously mentioned food intolerance was handled competently and courteously. The small, and therefore very refined, menu left nothing to be desired. That the wines also paired perfectly with the dishes seemed almost a given.

Overall disappointing: Sourdough bread and salted butter are tasty but not particularly creative or inspiring. The steak tartare was (we believe...) not minced and well-balanced in flavor, but piled high on too much bread. The black halibut on spinach and mashed potatoes was okay, but also not very innovative. Particularly noteworthy was the far too dry goose breast and leg, which even the excellent chestnut jus couldn't salvage. The pear and thyme sorbet, on the other hand, was very tasty and well-balanced. In short: The hotel is excellent, but the food and restaurant service are rather average. It doesn't really live up to the standards of a Nelson Müller...

Unfortunately, my visit was a huge disappointment overall. I was dining alone and was seated in the front, completely empty room – lacking any ambiance, but with loud noises from the kitchen and the waitresses. The couch was broken and squeaked with every movement, and the floor was stained. The bread was cleared away so quickly that I could barely finish the first slice before the main course arrived. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was also very dry. Overall, I had expected much more – especially from a restaurant called Nelson Müller, I would have expected a different level of service.

Simply a great place to celebrate your birthday

We wanted to have a "special" meal for our silver wedding anniversary. Well, what can I say? The price was especially special. On Tuesday, we had just as good a meal for about half the price. The wine is being sold at quite inflated prices. The food was delicious, the service very attentive and friendly. We hope the extremely high prices also benefit the staff, so they don't have to work for minimum wage...

A truly lovely restaurant on the west beach with very attentive staff. We received a friendly welcome as soon as we walked in and were shown to our table. The food was outstanding! Considering I'm not a big fan of truffles, the carpaccio roll with truffle cream and sauce was incredibly delicious; it was the perfect amount. I can only say wow about the tuna with sesame ice cream. For dessert, we had a crème brûlée to round off the evening! I'd go back!

We were at Müllers for lunch yesterday. I have to say, it was the best we've had on the island so far in every respect – food, service, drink selection, location. The beautiful weather and the fantastic view from the terrace certainly added to the experience. After an aperitif and the starter with olives, bellota cheese, and delicious bread, we had caviar (a bit lacking in side dishes) and then a wonderful beef tartar. My wife's bouillabaisse was also delicious. To follow, we had the almond cake. Definitely a recommendation!

What an amazing place to have dinner in Norderney. Sea view included and a menu that satisfies nearly all different tastes. Dishes from vegan / vegetarian, fish as well as meat are all well curated and have the special touch you would expect in this kind of restaurant. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. This makes a visit a really fun and delicious experience. We really enjoyed it. Try the Currywurst a traditional fast food dish from the Ruhrpott area, pushed here towards excellence with rich flavors. Try it.

With the right expectations, you can have a good meal here. The dishes taste excellent, but you should be aware that the prices are on the higher end and the portions aren't particularly large. If you're aware of this beforehand, you can definitely have a good meal here.

Very good food, very friendly staff, and the best atmosphere on Norderney...sea view, great building, no rowdy bowling clubs. We'll be going to Müllers several times in the next two weeks.

I was really looking forward to the visit, and it was a success at the beginning. The Campari Orange was delicious, and my dog got water right away. Bread and butter were delicious, as was the currywurst. Unfortunately, after the table was cleared, no one bothered to check on me. No one asked about coffee or dessert (I would have liked to order the Kaiserschmarrn). All the other tables were politely asked. As a woman eating alone, you feel a bit strange... Maybe just a coincidence, but a real shame. It really annoyed me!

We had a wonderful afternoon and a wonderful stay and will gladly return whenever we're on Norderney. The food is delicious and not only a treat for the palate, but also a feast for the eyes. Vegetarians will also find something to enjoy. The prices reflect the special ambiance; however, it's not overpriced. The currywurst is available as a veal currywurst and also in a vegan version (see menu photo). This isn't just a currywurst; it's elaborately seasoned with a homemade spice called "onion earth," and it comes with Belgian fries and homemade mayonnaise. The service staff is very attentive and answers questions ("How is the onion earth made?"). So, in any case, full marks from us: everything is good.

First of all: the milk-fed veal cheeks were out. This shouldn't have been the case. Otherwise, everything was excellent and top-notch. I'd definitely go back. The location is great and the tartar is very good. The Wiener schnitzel is also extremely tasty.

Wir waren an 4 Abenden im "Nelson Müller" auf Norderney und haben es an keinem Abend bereut. Die Küche war herausragend gut, geschmacklich sehr kreativ und die Speisekarte bot für jeden Geschmack etwas Besonderes. Auch wenn einmalig der bestellte Oktopus nicht ganz die gewünschte Qualität hatte, so lag dies sicher nicht an der Zubereitung, sondern an der Qualität der Ware, für die Ein Koch auch nicht immer garantieren kann. Insgesamt hatten wir keinen Grund zu Klagen, fanden einen herausragend freundlichen und sehr aufmerksamen Service vor und haben die Abende wirklich genossen. Dazu kommt ein einmalig schöner Ausblick auf die Nordsee.

A thoroughly successful evening at Müllers on Norderney A visit to Müllers Restaurant is a true culinary experience. I chose the spaghetti aglio e olio for my starter – perfectly al dente, as it should be. Simple, yet incredibly flavorful. The main course, salt marsh lamb, was the absolute highlight: wonderfully tender, aromatic, and expertly prepared. The side dishes were finely balanced, and the entire meal seemed well-thought-out and harmonious. The service was also outstanding: The daughter of the house, who was working as a temporary assistant that evening, acted with impressive professionalism – on the fly, charming, attentive, and absolutely competent. You wouldn't notice that she was just filling in – she led the evening with confidence. Two small, personal comments: • The bottled water served is a matter of taste – I would have preferred a different brand. ``` • The crème brûlée tasted good, but at €16.50, it was a bit overpriced for me. Apart from that, the price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect – especially for the starter and main course, the quality of the cuisine is worth every euro. Conclusion: A wonderful evening with first-class food, great service, and a harmonious overall package. Müllers is definitely a recommendation for every gourmet on Norderney.

Wir hatten einen schönen Platz auf der Sonnenterrasse und wurden anfänglich zuvorkommend bedient. Als wir jedoch aus der Snackkarte orderten, kippte die Stimmung, ein veganes Gericht war nicht verfügbar, man hielt sich strikt an die Vorgaben. Flexibel und nah am Kunden geht anders.Schade!

Our wedding on September 3, 2024: Even though our wedding was a while ago, we still feel it's important to publish a review for Müllers on Norderney. We still look back on our day with complete satisfaction! We spent lunch with our guests on the beautiful terrace with the best view of the sea. The team at Müllers Norderney contributed to a perfect wedding day. We received excellent advice in the run-up to our wedding, and our expectations were met in every respect. With a clear conscience, we left the choice of dishes to the chef and were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance simply dreamy. It couldn't have been better! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The bouillabaisse as an appetizer was fantastic. The bread that came with it was fantastic. The only thing that really earned a 4 was the ox cheek. It was far too tough. Last year it was much, much better. This dish could be made much, much better, and as it is, it's too expensive.

The fish of the day, fresh sea bream on baby spinach and mashed potatoes, was incredibly delicious. 😋

Even though we weren't sitting in the main room but in the charming chat room of the Hotel 1884, the ambience was simply brilliant: cozy, stylish and perfect for a special occasion. The food was fantastic - every dish was a culinary highlight, lovingly prepared and tasted of the highest level. We were particularly impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the entire team, who looked after us well throughout the evening. We are incredibly grateful for this experience and can recommend Müllers on Norderney without reservation. We were with the family at Müllers on Norderney. We had a nice table and were warmly welcomed. It's chic but not mega-fine-dining. Prices are salty, portions vary greatly. Wiener Schnitzel large portion, pasta small portion. Very difficult for vegetarians (although Nelson Müller wrote a book about vegetarian cuisine) and absolutely not recommended for vegans. The bottom line is that it wasn't worth it, even if the food was delicious. Of course, the boss is usually not there either. Not recommended when accompanied by children. Overall, no recommendation.

We were there on April 19, 2025 with 4 people and we really enjoyed it. Very nice and polite service, nice atmosphere (we first sat on the veranda and had an aperitif and then went inside to eat), very tasty food and solid value for money (there are more expensive restaurants on Norderney...). I had the fjord trout as a starter and then the veal cheeks, both recommended. So, we will see the Müllers again on our next vacation on Norderney.

An evening at Müllers on Norderney – simply unforgettable! As soon as we entered the restaurant we felt welcome. The ambience? A perfect mix of comfort and style. The highlight was of course the food: a true explosion of taste! We were particularly impressed by the 3-course menu – perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The wine recommendation was also really excellent. What we were particularly pleased about was the service. Friendly, attentive, but never intrusive. Here you can tell that people work with passion. Last night I was at Müllers on Norderney with my husband and my dog. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and immediately felt at home. Our waitress Angelina was really great. She was particularly accommodating, friendly and had a smile on her face the whole evening. For starters we had cream of asparagus soup and bouillabaisse. The main course was eggplant cordon bleu and zander (catch of the day). All the food was fantastic!! For this reason, of course, there was also dessert. The Kaiserschmarrn with strawberries and yoghurt ice cream were a dream. Conclusion: we will definitely come back next time we visit Norderney! It's absolutely worth it. Ambience great! Waiter great! Food great! Thank you very much for the wonderful break! We'll be raving about it for a long time!

We are regular guests on Norderney but were at Müllers for the first time this year and were really THRILLED. Of course the food isn't cheap but it's worth every cent/euro. Great service, the best currywurst (I had it - everyone else was also very happy with their food, schnitzel and veal cheeks), delicious wines, a very tasteful ambience and the aperitif on the terrace with a view of the North Sea - enjoyment for every North Sea fan. Really highly recommended

We were at Müllers Norderney on Thursday. I can only say it was amazing. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. I had the veal currywurst with Belgian fries, and the price of €17.50 was absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back next time. This was our second time there, so it can't be bad. Absolutely top-notch! During my stay at the Hotel "1884," I also visited Müllers. That evening remains a culinary and gastronomic highlight for me. The staff provided incredibly good service. Courteous but not intrusive. Super friendly and competent. The ambiance offers a wonderful sea view combined with modern, upscale decor. The food is the centerpiece of the restaurant. A fantastic menu that offers something for every taste. A mix of modern interpretations of classic dishes and high-quality, unusual dishes offers a perfect selection for every palate. The quality of the food is exceptional. Here, gastronomy is "lived," and guests notice it. An absolute recommendation.
