Minari in Frankfurt am Main

The young waiter was friendly and recommended the chicken dish to us – it was delicious and the portion was generous. My salmon with teriyaki sauce, on the other hand, was far too strong in flavor, and the side dish of two reheated potatoes was disappointing. We were offered a seat right by the entrance door, and although the staff tried to keep the sliding door closed for a while, a constant stream of cold air drifted in. The restaurant is very small and a bit hectic, as the team is constantly moving tables. Overall, the service was pleasant, but neither the food nor the atmosphere were convincing.

Wow, it's been a while since I've had a proper meal. On the last day of our long family trip, before boarding the plane, I devoured kimchi and vegetables. It was delicious and convenient!

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food that came was delicious, but I still can't leave a good review. I rarely write negative reviews, but unfortunately, I have to leave one here. Where do I begin: The service was, unfortunately, very poor. We had to ask for EVERYTHING. Many items on the menu were unavailable. (Another absolute Korean classic, for which I specifically wanted a Korean version and was very happy, nothing exotic! Other orders simply never arrived. The best part: We ordered more Korean fried chicken. It was accepted by the waiter. After 40 minutes, we asked when it would arrive. Another waiter then said they were completely out of it?! What is that? Absolutely unacceptable. Additionally, there are stressed-out delivery drivers standing around in front of and in the middle of the restaurant who (it seemed) were waiting significantly longer than expected for the ordered food. The BBQ meat is also overpriced, and they didn't have everything listed on the menu... Rice didn't come without an extra order, despite the hefty price. Nor did they offer the usual numerous side dishes. All in all, it's simply not worth the money. We went home disappointed and half-hungry. It doesn't help that the Korean fried chicken tasted really great.

We ordered food through Uber Eats. What arrived was the wrong delivery and half-cooked salmon. The owner kindly offered us €5 in free drinks on our next order for the incorrect order, but overall, we were very disappointed with the food.

There was a vegan grill with tofu – something very rare in Korea, but I was very pleased! The chicken and miso soup from the lunch menu were also really good. A highlight at the end was the bingsu, made with frozen milk (like powdered milk) and fruit. Very funny!

Tteokbokki is not worth the money

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. The service was inattentive, and we had to wait a long time for our sauces during our meal. The rice wasn't cooked well; it was way too mushy. The prices are high, and the BBQ sauce wasn't even included. The atmosphere wasn't as cozy, more practical. There are definitely better restaurants.

We've been to many Korean restaurants, and the food here was okay in comparison. However, the portions are very small, so the value for money isn't as good in our opinion...

There were two of us, and we ordered two chicken/vegetable meals at 9:15 PM. It was cold, even the soup. You had to hunt for the vegetables. Small portions of meat, too, for €20 per dish. In my opinion, a rip-off!

I have no idea how old this sausage is, but it's as dry as salami and the breading was rock hard.

Sorry, at 25 EUR per portion, the chicken is way too expensive & very bland. Too much batter, dry and tough meat, not enough taste and sauce. Surely, not worth 25 EUR. In Berlin, you can get much better quality, authentic Korean chicken, with a side of fries & rice cakes for almost half the price. I thought this could be a good option for Frankfurt, but unfortunately not. Go to Chicken ONDA for Korean Fried Chicken. They are superior in every way in my opinion.

First of all, I have to say that it's unbelievable that this restaurant has truthful reviews deleted as defamatory. Accordingly, the positive reviews massively distort reality. Six of us ate here on July 23rd, and three of us ordered the vegan grill plate. It works on the principle that you get a grill at your table and then cook the vegetables/tofu yourself. The funny thing, though, was that for three people, there was exactly one eggplant, one sweet potato, six mushrooms, and half a block of tofu. Rice wasn't included, and sauces had to be ordered separately. Cost: €28 per person. I think that speaks for itself. See photo. Simply not offer such things on the menu, then guests won't be disappointed. And deleting truthful reviews is simply fraudulent.

The impression was more reminiscent of a snack bar than a restaurant. Unfortunately, the service seemed uncoordinated and at times chaotic. Considering the quality offered, the prices were disappointing—the value for money isn't there. The three of us had the vegetarian BBQ, which cost €75 for the three of us. There were a few pieces of tofu, a zucchini, an eggplant, a sweet potato, and a few mushrooms. None of it was seasoned or pickled or prepared in any way beyond the chopping of the vegetables. We found the value for money absolutely inadequate. There were no spices or sauces; we only received these after asking. Even the usual side dishes like kimchi, pickled radish, cucumber salad, etc. weren't available. Rice wasn't included either. We had to pay for it separately just to feel even a little full. Sure, the meat dishes are good (also overpriced), but you don't need to come here for vegetarian food. It shouldn't even be offered. The staff was very nice.

We made a reservation and couldn't get a table. It was just poorly organized. A real shame. They also told us to "wait a minute" and left us standing outside for 20 minutes. Some waited 2 hours (with reservations) for a table, to no avail.

The chicken here is just not worth €25. It didn’t taste very good — too much batter, the meat was dry and tough, and there wasn’t enough sauce or flavor. It felt overpriced for what you get. In Berlin, you can find much better Korean fried chicken, with fries and rice cakes, for almost half the price. I was hoping this place would be a good choice in Frankfurt, but sadly it wasn’t.

Don't order the "homemade" walnut cake. I've never eaten such a small, dry piece of cake—it would be funny if it didn't cost €6.50.

Great experience! The food was truly delicious and we were completely satisfied – thank you so much! We were especially pleased that we received a small treat for free twice. Every month, you can even join in on the karaoke – a great addition to the dining experience! The shop looks rather unassuming from the outside, but exudes authentic Korean vibes. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, as is often described, the portions were very, very small. I wanted to do the restaurant a favor and not order through one of the popular apps, but in the end, it cost me even more money, even though I picked it up (€5 more than Lieferando, €10 more than Uber Eats). Unfortunately, the food was nothing special and very poorly seasoned. Our conclusion: We won't eat or order here again.

I visited this restaurant twice for lunch and ordered takeaway a couple of times as well. Overall, I have to conclude that it’s very expensive for the small portions and the quality of the food. Service has also been inconsistent. The first time I dined in, the older lady who I believe is the owner was very friendly, spoke English, and we had a nice chat. We ordered side dishes, lunch sets, and drinks. The food, however, was just average. At the end of the meal, she strongly encouraged me to leave a 5-star review, which made the friendliness feel a bit fake. On our second dine-in visit, we ordered two lunch sets. This time, the same lady was less hospitable and suddenly no longer spoke English, which felt strange. One item (Japchae) was missing from the set, and when we asked, they simply said they didn’t have it - without informing us beforehand or offering an alternative. Given that the lunch sets are already quite small, I found this quite disappointing. Another time when I ordered takeaway, the miso soup was missing. When I asked, they said miso soup is only included with takeaway if you specifically request it, which wasn’t explained when ordering. In any case, the miso soup isn’t authentic Korean style..it’s very watery with barely any tofu or flavor. In short, the prices are high for what you get, the food is average at best, and the service feels unreliable. I would NOT recommend this place based on my experiences. There are so many more better Korean places in Frankfurt with higher quality food and cheaper price!

I ordered fried chicken but I didn’t expect 6 tiny silly pieces of chicken for 19€. In what world is that supposed to make someone full? Atleast write that there’s only 6 pieces because that price is crazy in this economy.

If the price is set that high, the quantity should at least be right. If the ingredients are saved like this (about 4 pieces of finely chopped zucchini etc. for about 20 € is probably a joke), it should at least be tasty. If the taste is not convincing (vegetables taste bland, miso soup literally tastes like water!) the price should be reduced by double. The price-performance ratio is simply not good here, I can't recommend this store to anyone...

Lo sentimos, a 25 euros por porción, el pollo es demasiado caro y muy soso. Demasiada masa, carne seca y dura, sin suficiente sabor y salsa. Seguramente, no vale 25 euros. En Berlín, se puede conseguir pollo coreano auténtico de mejor calidad, con un lado de papas fritas y pasteles de arroz por casi la mitad del precio. Pensé que podría ser una buena opción para Frankfurt, pero desafortunadamente no.

The price-performance ratio is not right at all. The sauces were inedible. The vegan platter for the grill is an absolute joke. Our food for the grill arrived over half an hour, so you couldn't eat it all in one meal. The only good things were the starters. We were only given a table outside even though there was a free table inside. The four of us paid €150 and then went to another restaurant because we weren't full.

We were 6 people at dinner, ordered Korean BBQ. The portion of all dishes was sooooo SMALL. The price of every dishes are above 23€. 3 Pieces of Pork shoulders 26€, 3 Pieces of Pork Belly 23€. The vegetable plate is 23€ on the photo, which might costs under 2€! 2 stars only because of the kind waitress.

They offered us a table outside in 1 Celsius 🥶. Inside it was suffocating, crowded, the smell was strong, and no free tables, so we decided to try outside. Even after 10 minutes in the cold, we didn’t get the menu. Not recommended, just the name is Korean, not the service.

I ordered kimchi stew, but I thought I ordered it wrong. The pepper flavor is strong and there is no kimchi flavor at all. Why is there a card fee there? I paid, but it makes no sense. Are there fees for foreign cards? I have been to many foreign countries, but this is my first experience like this. And are BC and Visa foreign cards available worldwide? I was completely offended because it seemed like they were using some really cruel methods to rip off tourists. . They even forced us to order dessert as if they would give it to us for free. .

Since I visited during the year-end holiday, there were no restaurants open. On the last day of my business trip, I wanted to eat pork belly and soju, so I went there. The store was small and there were only foreign customers. Perhaps because the number of people working is small, Maybe it was because I got a new part-time job, but I seemed hectic at the time. The pork belly is generous and tastes good. I don't know about other meals, but all the foreigners ate well and left. It was nice to see BTS Jimin haha

I tried Korean food a few times while living in Frankfurt for a year, but honestly, there were many times when I felt it was a waste of money. I ordered bulgogi bibimbap and tteokbokki with my friend, and it was better than what I had in Korea. This is my first time leaving a Google review, and this is the best restaurant out of 5 days in Frankfurt. I heard that pork belly is also delicious, so I definitely want to eat it next time I get the chance. And for dessert, the cake and espresso are really delicious.

Owner was so kind and friendly ! It’s a heaven for bts stans , the walls are decorated so pretty 🤭 i was really surprised by the cozy atmosphere as we walked in ! Food was amazing , the meat is very high quality and very tasty ! Would definitely recommend eating here ! They also make very delicious bingsu too 😋

So, we were 11 people visiting the place. It’s very small and we hardly all fit (they had to move people to other tables for us, appreciate it). When we ordered we thought automatically due to past experiences in various places with Korean bbq, that when ordering on the menu (it says “ab 2 Personen” (=from 2 people onwards)) the dishes are bigger. Sadly no. The dishes were SO small for the price. The owner kept telling us that it’s the best quality etc. but it lacked in multiple places. You also do not get refills on the side dishes such as kimchi (which is known for in Korean restaurants that you get them for free). Wouldn’t recommend!!

We were really disappointed here. The Korean BBQ was not of high quality. The meat was bad, the service of average friendliness and the air extractor had two options: open the window and freeze or enjoy the smoke. And it was quite pricy for the quality we got. Nowhere near the level of Korean BBQ you get at Heidekrug in Oberursel.

Was expecting a larger and more traditional restaurant. The whole thing was more like a snack. A delivery snack bar with seating is probably appropriate. There was only Coke Zero and still water from the metro (Aro). The service was nice. However, I found the food extremely tasty.

Disappointing. Based on the positive reviews, we were looking forward to a Korean barbecue with bulgogi, which according to the menu is served with side dishes and salads. When we ordered, we asked again whether everything was included, which the waitress confirmed. Unfortunately, only the beef with glass noodles and mushrooms came, served as bulgogi jeongol, more of a stew, without rice and the hoped-for side dishes. When we asked, we were told that bulgogi is not barbecue here and that the side dishes therefore had to be ordered separately. When we asked why the dish was called a "menu" - a term that generally creates certain expectations since it usually includes several components, including side dishes - we were simply told that no one had ever complained about it. The table grill didn't work and had to be replaced 3 times. The taste was not convincing and for 39 euros without rice we were very disappointed. The dessert was also rather plain in taste, and the price for the beer on the bill unfortunately differed from that on the menu. Unfortunately, since my wife is Korean and we often eat Korean food, this was by far the weakest experience of all Korean restaurants so far. The service seemed disorganized, sometimes unfriendly and overall the visit unfortunately fell far short of our expectations.

Just ordered bulgogi rice through Wolt for €15. It's somewhat tasty, but the quantity is a joke and you won't get full. It's a shame ☹️

My first visit to a Korean and my last there. I had some problems with my stomach after eating. Maybe I can't tolerate kimchi, but I usually don't have any problems with spicy foods. Nevertheless, the service was very courteous and the furnishings were also appropriate.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy, with some posters of kpop band. The food is good in term of flavour, especially the kimchi jjigae. Regrettably, the temperature of the food is warm at best. The bibimbap was not served in a clay pot nor a hot bowl, hence the food became cold quite quickly. The server came half way through the meal with a small platter of kimchis, which is delightful, but it could be served alongside the hot dishes. overall, it was a delicious and delightful meal, but there are clearly rooms for improvement.

We had Korean BBQ with beef. You can order these for 2 or more portions, with vegetables and sauce included. Rice costs extra, but I thought the price was okay :) Very nice service and we also found the atmosphere very good. Thank you for the great time!

We went there after good Google reviews from very far away. Since it was a special day for our anniversary, we wanted to eat good Korean food. As I have been to other Korean restaurants before and had good experiences. We were there at 6:00 p.m., the waitress wasn't there and the person who cooks was there and he can't understand German or English. We asked him to recommend something best from this restaurant, but he can't understand it, and later we ordered some things like soup and this fried chicken with sauce which I used to order in other restaurant.Here was tasteless, not spicier, and Tasteless Fried Chicken with a sauce that was as tasteless as I know I've been to another Korean restaurant before, as is the taste. And we ordered pork steak and soup and he said we will get two rice for free, one of soup and one of steak. I said that we only want one rice, but the chef gave us two and said it's free... one of the soup and one of that pork steak. Later both waitresses came in a row like 4 to 5 times and looked and asked again and again what we ordered and questions etc.. that we couldn't continue eating was so unpleasant... They are so rude when I said there is a lot of food that I want to pack and take with me and they make like a funny face and gave me very small box. And when we wanted to pay they added the price of extra rice. I said why extra rice?? The chef gave us the day off and she was so rude and said rice isn't free anywhere.. However it's more about the service as they are rude and the food wasn't good at all.. I traveled for so long because of my best day to eat but I'm so unhappy and my special day went badly..

Great Korean experience, as if you were sitting right in the soul center. Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Korean pop group BTS and the pictures of my favorite guitarist Jimin were also plus points 🥰😅 The food was very tasty, the price was right and you were full too. Gladly again

We always like to come back because we are very impressed with the food and the service. The boss always inspires me with her nice, open and friendly manner. I'm already looking forward to the next opportunity where we can recognize each other and she will accompany us on our culinary journey through her home country. Having Korea almost on your doorstep is so nice.

I had high expectations because of the high reviews, but I was a little disappointed as there were no small plates of Korean food, the BBQ samgyeopsal was hard and the sauce was not good, and the jjigae was small for the price. However, the bento box was a good value and looked delicious, so I recommend that when you visit.

Always very pleasant place to be. Food authentic, service very kind, price reasonable. Not easy to find such a great Korean place especially in the city. And they keep developing great menus - check out the Seaweed soup next time you are here. That's what Korean homemade meal looks like and you will see it often on Netflix shows on Korea. Other suggestion : fried chicken, mochi(caramel and mango)

Dakgangjeong, Korean fried chicken with a sweet and savory soy garlic sauce, is a must-try for any fan of Korean cuisine. The crispy exterior gives way to juicy chicken, perfectly complemented by the flavorful sauce. That were both delicious and satisfying. It's the best I have tried! The owner gave us a warm welcomed ☺️
