Tiny portioned and untasty dishes

We were really disappointed here. The Korean BBQ was not of high quality. The meat was bad, the service of average friendliness and the air extractor had two options: open the window and freeze or enjoy the smoke. And it was quite pricy for the quality we got. Nowhere near the level of Korean BBQ you get at Heidekrug in Oberursel.

Was expecting a larger and more traditional restaurant. The whole thing was more like a snack. A delivery snack bar with seating is probably appropriate. There was only Coke Zero and still water from the metro (Aro). The service was nice. However, I found the food extremely tasty.

It's a little slow. I think it's a family shop. I don't want to expect too much. The meat is fresh I didn't feel like it, but I ate until I was full 💛💛💛

Disappointing. Based on the positive reviews, we were looking forward to a Korean barbecue with bulgogi, which according to the menu is served with side dishes and salads. When we ordered, we asked again whether everything was included, which the waitress confirmed. Unfortunately, only the beef with glass noodles and mushrooms came, served as bulgogi jeongol, more of a stew, without rice and the hoped-for side dishes. When we asked, we were told that bulgogi is not barbecue here and that the side dishes therefore had to be ordered separately. When we asked why the dish was called a "menu" - a term that generally creates certain expectations since it usually includes several components, including side dishes - we were simply told that no one had ever complained about it. The table grill didn't work and had to be replaced 3 times. The taste was not convincing and for 39 euros without rice we were very disappointed. The dessert was also rather plain in taste, and the price for the beer on the bill unfortunately differed from that on the menu. Unfortunately, since my wife is Korean and we often eat Korean food, this was by far the weakest experience of all Korean restaurants so far. The service seemed disorganized, sometimes unfriendly and overall the visit unfortunately fell far short of our expectations.

i am korean, this restaurant represents typical korean original taste and korean atmosphere, plus, taste , qaulity good very friendly service spacious between tables and good price i will definitely come again with my friends and collegues

Just ordered bulgogi rice through Wolt for €15. It's somewhat tasty, but the quantity is a joke and you won't get full. It's a shame ☹️

Amazing food! The meat was soo soft

I ordered Tteokbokki, which was tasteless, but they gave me a slice of burnt bacon.

Very welcoming and attentive staff which is sometimes hard to find around the city. The food was impeccable and authentic. With pleasure, again. Loved it!

My first visit to a Korean and my last there. I had some problems with my stomach after eating. Maybe I can't tolerate kimchi, but I usually don't have any problems with spicy foods. Nevertheless, the service was very courteous and the furnishings were also appropriate.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy, with some posters of kpop band. The food is good in term of flavour, especially the kimchi jjigae. Regrettably, the temperature of the food is warm at best. The bibimbap was not served in a clay pot nor a hot bowl, hence the food became cold quite quickly. The server came half way through the meal with a small platter of kimchis, which is delightful, but it could be served alongside the hot dishes. overall, it was a delicious and delightful meal, but there are clearly rooms for improvement.

We had Korean BBQ with beef. You can order these for 2 or more portions, with vegetables and sauce included. Rice costs extra, but I thought the price was okay :) Very nice service and we also found the atmosphere very good. Thank you for the great time!

We went there after good Google reviews from very far away. Since it was a special day for our anniversary, we wanted to eat good Korean food. As I have been to other Korean restaurants before and had good experiences. We were there at 6:00 p.m., the waitress wasn't there and the person who cooks was there and he can't understand German or English. We asked him to recommend something best from this restaurant, but he can't understand it, and later we ordered some things like soup and this fried chicken with sauce which I used to order in other restaurant.Here was tasteless, not spicier, and Tasteless Fried Chicken with a sauce that was as tasteless as I know I've been to another Korean restaurant before, as is the taste. And we ordered pork steak and soup and he said we will get two rice for free, one of soup and one of steak. I said that we only want one rice, but the chef gave us two and said it's free... one of the soup and one of that pork steak. Later both waitresses came in a row like 4 to 5 times and looked and asked again and again what we ordered and questions etc.. that we couldn't continue eating was so unpleasant... They are so rude when I said there is a lot of food that I want to pack and take with me and they make like a funny face and gave me very small box. And when we wanted to pay they added the price of extra rice. I said why extra rice?? The chef gave us the day off and she was so rude and said rice isn't free anywhere.. However it's more about the service as they are rude and the food wasn't good at all.. I traveled for so long because of my best day to eat but I'm so unhappy and my special day went badly..

It's the most delicious and plump pork belly I've had in Germany. The owner and staff were all so friendly that I felt really good while eating. Skala 10 von 10 💯💯💯

I visited for lunch and had vegetable bibimbap and bulgogi bibimbap, which were very delicious. The restaurant and food were clean and reasonably priced, so I had a pleasant meal.

Great Korean experience, as if you were sitting right in the soul center. Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Korean pop group BTS and the pictures of my favorite guitarist Jimin were also plus points 🥰😅 The food was very tasty, the price was right and you were full too. Gladly again

We always like to come back because we are very impressed with the food and the service. The boss always inspires me with her nice, open and friendly manner. I'm already looking forward to the next opportunity where we can recognize each other and she will accompany us on our culinary journey through her home country. Having Korea almost on your doorstep is so nice.

I had high expectations because of the high reviews, but I was a little disappointed as there were no small plates of Korean food, the BBQ samgyeopsal was hard and the sauce was not good, and the jjigae was small for the price. However, the bento box was a good value and looked delicious, so I recommend that when you visit.

The food itself was very good, but the portion was far too small for the price of 16 euros per dish. The bibimbab with meat only had a tablespoon of meat on it at most. The portion was way too small and it was way too spicy even though I didn't use the spicy one

Always very pleasant place to be. Food authentic, service very kind, price reasonable. Not easy to find such a great Korean place especially in the city. And they keep developing great menus - check out the Seaweed soup next time you are here. That's what Korean homemade meal looks like and you will see it often on Netflix shows on Korea. Other suggestion : fried chicken, mochi(caramel and mango)

Dakgangjeong, Korean fried chicken with a sweet and savory soy garlic sauce, is a must-try for any fan of Korean cuisine. The crispy exterior gives way to juicy chicken, perfectly complemented by the flavorful sauce. That were both delicious and satisfying. It's the best I have tried! The owner gave us a warm welcomed ☺️

Very, very good, I haven't had such good Korean food in a long time Food came quickly (and very tasty), service was very friendly and patient, drinks (yuzu iced tea) were good. You can park a little further away (3 minutes walk), also relatively cheap. When I'm back in Frankfurt I'll come back 😆

Really very tasty Korean food. The fried chicken and bibimbap are particularly recommended. The gochujang sauce is homemade and incredibly delicious. Plus delicious yuzu tea. The service is very friendly and personable. I can absolutely recommend it.

The food is seasoned well. The beef menu I ordered that day was too oily and tough. The chicken menu was good. I visited because of work, but I don't think I would go there on purpose.

I am leaving this review with gratitude for the warm and friendly welcome that made me feel like I was at my parents' house. The food is neat and delicious, and most of all, the owner's sophisticated and sincere service mind reminds me of it.

Update May 2024: The map has now been meaningfully changed and reduced in size, so that everything runs much more smoothly (although tested in the evening, not at lunchtime). Service was very friendly and the food was very good - hence the change from 2 to 5 stars. Rating from 2023: Unfortunately it's not an option at lunchtime at the moment. The first time the waiting time was 60 minutes, the second time it was a whopping 80 minutes - that's just not possible. Orders were also mixed up etc. Soup was only lukewarm.

We had dinner with 4 people on May 1st. We had Kimchi, Fried Chicken, Galbi Mandu, Bulgogi, Bulgogi Dosirak, Mango Bingsu. To put it briefly: everything was very tasty, we were all thrilled. Friendly service too. The table grill Bulgogi, the photo with the stainless steel wok, was very tasty and lots of beef. Absolutely sufficient for two people. I didn't finish my portion of rice, I was just full. The fried chicken was very tasty and the portion was so generous that the three of us shared the portion. Actually, we all tried everything 😉 We were surprised by the dessert, the Mango Bingsu, a kind of ice cream in fine shavings with refried beans and mango. Tastes really good. I like to repeat myself: very tasty 😋 Note: The concept or owner has changed. Because I can't understand the older, sometimes bad, experiences. The food was freshly prepared, drinks came quickly, and the service was very friendly. I would like to point out that it is not a fast food joint like the "Asian Noodle Takeaway Glutamate Bomb". It's a Korean BBQ restaurant, even if the size suggests it's a snack bar. And the food is just with meat.

I've eaten Korean food in several restaurants around the world and in Germany. At first we were full of anticipation, but the ambience was rather poor and had the character of a "snack bar". The toilet also corresponds. The two older gentlemen were very nice to us. We ordered tea and 4 main courses. The ginger lemon tea was very tasty, but only a small cup; A bit steep for five euros. The portions were also quite meager, my bulgogi was unfortunately very dry and overall I was rather dissatisfied with the taste. Unfortunately, when an invoice for 85 (!) euros had to be paid, the disappointment was complete.

Despite the warm demeanor of the owner, the culinary offerings at this restaurant failed to capture the essence of Korean cuisine. Not only did the taste lack authenticity, but the ingredients used in preparation also diverged from traditional Korean culinary practices.

Buldak-Galbi with rice was tasty but it had chicken parts full of fat and uneatable parts. They should have been removed before cooking.

It's a Korean restaurant close to Frankfurt Süd station. Since my first visit on March 4th, I have visited this restaurant 4 times in 2 weeks. This is a restaurant I always go to whenever I have the chance to go to Frankfurt!! I really missed the chicken I used to eat in Korea, so I ordered fried chicken here, and I cried when I went home that day. I don't have to hold it in anymore!!! I also brought a friend from Germany, and he really enjoyed it. I highly recommend it to Koreans traveling here if they miss Korean food! The owner was very kind, and the staff seemed to be able to speak English. The bathroom was well maintained, smelled good, and was clean! The price range is generally affordable for travelers. European food is delicious, but when I eat it, I think of Korean food more than I thought... . From now on, whenever I'm hungry for chicken, I'll come here hehe I recommend here if you are interested in Korean foods, Thank you :3

Everything was great, the service was also great, the boss was very nice. The dishes taste very tasty and authentic, only the portion could be a bit larger ;-)

We stayed at the Hotel Cult and had dinner here, it was exceptionally good and totally authentically Korean!! My absolute recommendation 🤩. When I'm back in Frankfurt I'll be happy to come back.

Delivery portions are not worth the price. Tiny in size.

It's nice to see that the restaurant is taking the reviews to heart and making adjustments and improvements accordingly. We ordered the K-BBQ quite late and the portion sizes were more than enough. Without further ordering, another bowl of salad was even put on the table. The side dish sizes were also perfect for 3 people. Even though we were there and eating more than 30 minutes after closing time, the owner still gave us enough time to finish after a tip. The service was quick and very helpful. Will definitely come back!

The owner and staff are so friendly. Thick raw pork belly, which is not common in Germany.. It’s delicious.

I am a picky Korean eater. What I love about this place: -Corn Dog(so delicious) -meat quality(if you look for K-BBQ) -friendly staff&owner -cozy dining area Today me and my german friends ordered punch of different dishes. I, as a Korean, didn’t find any food too westernized or not authentic. (Kimchi wans’t my favorite though) My friends loved: -Bulgogi -kimchi jjigae(kimchi stew) I haven’t tried, but looks legit: -Tteokbokki Will definitely order(&dine in here) again.

The food is really tasty and feels authentic. The service was also very good, if a bit intrusive. But the portions are definitely too small, starter and main course for a total of €37 and I still wasn't even remotely full.

The food is super tasty and very authentic! Very good price-performance ratio. The service was very nice and attentive. What is unfortunately a bit annoying is the BBQ smell and the fact that you have to keep closing the door, otherwise there is a huge draft. But we will definitely come back because it was so delicious!

I ordered 2 vegan corn dogs from this restaurant via Ubereats. I was delivered the wrong dish, which I reported to the driver on the spot. The restaurant told me that Ubereats would refund me and that they had been in contact with them about this. That was on January 26th. To date I haven't heard anything about Ubereats and the restaurant won't and can't help me. If you had allegedly spoken to the Ubereats employees, then information about the accident should have come a long time ago. Deliver the wrong order first and don't worry about it later. That's why only 1 star from me

We were guests here last night and I can confirm that the hostess is super warm and the food is very tasty and, above all, authentic! I lived in Korea for a while and after a disillusioning visit to another restaurant, I was very positively surprised by the freshness and quality of the food at Minari. We ordered bulgogi and were not disappointed :) A particularly nice gesture for me was the tteokbokki, which we were allowed to try for free because I told the hostess that it was one of my favorite dishes in Korea. The food was amazing! It was delicious and really authentic. The staff was really friendly and the service was great. While the Korean bbq portions were fine, I would have wished more side dishes ( only kimchi was served). We will definitely comes back and try the other dishes.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant durch Zufall entdeckt und mussten einfach die veganen Corndogs probieren! Als wir hereinkamen hat sich die Eigentümerin riesig gefreut und das Ambiente im kleinen Lokal war persönlich und gemütlich. Nach der Empfehlung probierten wir zu unseren Corndogs noch die Kimchijeon und waren einfach in das Essen verliebt! Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder. ❤️

The food was amazing! It was not just delicious but also really well balanced and more than enogh to get full. The staff was really nice and the service was on point. The owner is a real sweetheart. It was all in all a great experience and we will definitely come back. I saw some people complaining about the "missing" side dishes that are common in other korean restaurants. But as far as I know, when it comes to dosirak the side dishes are already included in the lunch box. So I would disagree about missing side dishes because they were in the lunch box already.

This Korean restaurant is amazing in Frankfurt. Especially the bulgogi and buldak- galbi dosirak were great. I could enjoy the dinner menu which is quite different from the lunch menu with my friends. I feel like the taste of the dishes are close to the real Korean cuisine 👍
