A nice cozy little place that serves homemade food. Each day has a different set of menus. Not al a carte. We were once disappointed that we made all the effort to drive there and were told that on that specific day, it was a menu with Pork. So we had to leave dejected. It would be great if there was an online menu.

A lunch that tastes like home cooking

Unfortunately only open at lunchtime but if you have the chance, you should definitely stop by.

First off the portions and variety of the dishes were vary generous and vast. Taste wise, it was a solid 10/10, each option with it's unique taste and just bursting with flavour within every bite. Hygiene level was high and the service was immaculate! very patient, respectful and attentive of our needs and checking in on us throughout our entire time there. We felt welcomed the moment we stepped in, to the moment we left. Whether you're going by yourself, as a pair or as a group! I highly recommend to book a spot as it's highly popular. My only regret was the fact that I had a large breakfast which didn't leave me more for extra servings. I look forward to revisiting it.

I went to eat before going to the airport, and I had Jjamppong, so it was delicious. It's a good restaurant for eating healthy at home. The owners were also very kind. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again. It would be great for people who live nearby. ㅎㅎ

Very good food, rather simple, family and friendly atmosphere. A single menu offered at lunch. More than reasonable prices. I recommend it.

In my opinion, this is the best Korean restaurant in Frankfurt. The food feels like homemade – like a real Korean home. The main course changes daily, and the menu is structured in the style of a traditional Korean "baekban," consisting of rice, side dishes, and soup. Even at many good restaurants, the food sometimes tastes different depending on the day. But here, the taste is consistently good every time. Compared to Korean restaurants in Korea, this one is in no way inferior – a real insider tip for authentic Korean food! The owner cooks with heart and passion, and I always go home full and completely satisfied. The restaurant may not be particularly fancy and is rather small, but it lacks nothing to fully enjoy authentic Korean food.

A place where you can experience the comfort and taste of home cooking that is not easy to find in German Pfu Korean restaurants. The owner is also very kind and friendly! You don't have to choose a lunch menu, they provide side dishes, soup, and one main dish. The soup is always very delicious.

I visited with high expectations after reading the reviews, but personally, it was a very disappointing experience. The food consisted of one main dish per day, along with side dishes and soup, which did not suit my taste. The main dish, stir-fried pork, had a strong taste of gochujang and sugar, and was somewhat oily, making it feel greasy. The portion size was also small, so it seemed like only one serving was served when two people visited. They would give you a little more if you asked, but you had to meet the server in person to do so, and the process was not easy. Even when I tried to make a request to the server, she would only say “Wait a minute,” making it difficult to continue the conversation, and there were almost no opportunities to order or convey requests. The side dishes did not meet my expectations in terms of taste or quality. In particular, the portion size was small, and people kept asking for more, making the dining atmosphere somewhat chaotic. The soup was also disappointing. I was told it was fish cake soup, but it actually tasted more like soybean paste radish soup. The water was self-service, but I thought it might feel a bit unfriendly for first-time visitors because there were no instructions. When the food was late and they gave me half a bowl of rice first, I felt a little disappointed because they just left it without any explanation. The interior of the restaurant is also small, so it felt very cramped when about 20 people were sitting. There is no separate parking space, so it might be inconvenient when using a car. I stopped by after visiting the consulate, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll visit again. There are many restaurants around here that are delicious and well-managed, so I hope they take note of those places and develop further.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this is really delicious. The owner is also kind. I sincerely hope you stay healthy and the store prospers!

The food was incredibly tasty. I especially appreciated the concept of sharing dishes, which created a very positive atmosphere and encouraged communal dining. The place itself exudes warmth and friendliness, making the time spent there truly enjoyable.

This restaurant is authentic as it can get outside of Korea. Really loved the food and very hospitable owner chefs! Will return as often as I can!

A must-go restaurant if you're Korean

Fantastic and very authentic food. There is a daily changing lunch menu. The owners are very nice and friendly. If you want a second helping you can get one without any problem.

It's so delicious and the owner and his wife rave about it! I think it's the only Baekban-style restaurant in Germany, and most of all, I like it because it's not too spicy.

Every single side dish was delicious. I think I'll go again because it reminds me of home-cooked food.

The two elderly couples prepare it with great care and it tastes good. You are kind. It feels like home.

I was happy to have delicious white rice for the first time in a long time! The owner and his wife are very kind and refill the side dishes. It's only open for two hours, but there are a lot of take-out customers. I will visit again next time I come to Pupu.

Very tasty food and friendly service! We ate salmon today and it was very tasty. Overall, the food was also extremely healthy and you leave feeling full but not exhausted, even though the portions are very large. It is cozy and cool inside the restaurant.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen da, hatten vorher reserviert. Empfang durch die Chefin sehr freundlich . Zum lunch gibt es ein einheitliches täglich wechselndes Gericht. Suppe, verschiedene Gemüse u Fisch an diesem Tag. Alles köstlich.

There was a friendly menu for lunch and we even asked if we would like more. But the portion was good for lunch.

This is one of the truly delicious Korean restaurants in Germany. Side dishes change from day to day. Highly recommended. There are many places to park for free on the streets nearby.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience this afternoon. When I arrived, all the guests had already eaten. I was informed that there was only one dish for lunch. I ordered a portion for one person. After 5 minutes 2 other customers came. They sat down and after 2 minutes they got all the food on the table and immediately started eating. I was still sitting there without food and also without a clue. I got up, looked into the kitchen, the owners were cleaning up???!!! Well, I put the jacket on and left immediately. Of course I don't recommend it... :(

Were there for the first time today and will definitely come back. The operators were very friendly and the food was simply fantastic. It tasted like home. Just great. The two of us ate four portions and rolled home happy :D Many thanks to the operators for putting in so much effort and offering such good Korean food in Germany. The price is also more than fair.

This is a place where you can taste the essence of traditional family-style rice cake, which is difficult to find even in Korea. You must visit this precious place often so that you can do business for a long time!!

I went there without a reservation so it wasn’t possible to eat there but had to order for takeout instead. Anyway, they offered these days only one kind of lunch Bento so the decision was easy. The food was great and the service is really good. Have to say it’s hard to find services with smiles around here but they do have great smiles.

I had a fantastic experience at this Korean restaurant! The food was wonderfully traditional and incredibly delicious. The owner was exceptionally friendly and hospitable. The quality of the dishes was top-notch, and what's even better, the prices were very affordable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and I can't wait to go back for another delicious meal!

Einfaches Restaurant mit ebenso einfachem aber freundlichem Service . Getränke mußte man aus dem Schrank nehmen , wir haben aus den Flaschen getrunken, Gläser hat man keine gebracht .Das Essen ist sehr günstig, außer den Frühlingsrollen war es aber nicht nach meinem Geschmack .Bulgogi kannte ich ganz anders aus Korea und Asien .

This food was amazing. If you have to wait, it is well worth the wait. The Korean fried chicken in chili oil with kimchi is some of the best Korean food I’ve ever eaten. The staff was lovely and helpful, even though I couldn’t speak German.

das alte koreanische Paar ist super Nett und freundlich. Sie kochen selbst und die Gerichte sind authentisch. Ich war Mittags und Abends da und immer wieder gerne. Am Mittagszeit haben Sie ein Mittagsmenu (heute z.B Vorspeise: Rindfleischsuppe und als Hauptspeise Schweinebauch + die Koreanische Beilagen) für 12,50. Kartezahlung ist Möglich. Das Restaurant ist eher klein (ca. 20 Plätze) also es ist zu empfehlen zu reservieren

주인 내외분 정말 친절하고 인심도 후하세요. 오늘의 메뉴로 된장국+제육볶음이 나왔어요. 밑반찬으로 배추김치, 깻잎절임, 오이고추무침, 더덕무침, 오이생채,감자채볶음,어묵볶음, 알감자조림, 소세지부침이 나왔구요. 한국의 맛을 그대로 느낄 수 있는 훌륭한 식당입니다. 강추해요.

엄마 집밥이 절로 생각나는 곳 타지 생활하며 힘들 때 먹으면 자연스레 위로를 받아간다 여기 저기 한식집 많이 가봤지만, 독일에서 가본 한식집 중에 이보다 더 만족하며 먹은 곳은 아직까진 없다 그 날 사장님의 마음에 따라 메뉴가 달라져서 뭐 먹을지 고민 안해도 되어서 좋고, 무엇보다 정성들여 만든 반찬들이 감동임.. 평상시에 잘 먹지 못하던 반찬들이 나와서 너무 행복했다 (반찬 리필 가능) 음식뿐만 아니라 정 많고 친절하신 사장님 부부 덕분에 기분 좋게 먹고 갑니다 💛 웬만하면 예약필수이니 참고하시길

Great place to have lunch or dinner. Authentic Korean food for reasonable prices. We took k1 and k2 with extra portion of kimchi and it was a perfect order. The only challenge is to find parking nearby if you come with a car

Tolles Essen von einem sehr sympathischen älteren koreanischen Ehepaar. Ansonsten alles sehr schlicht. Man bekommt fast ein wenig Reisefeeling 😊

Meine Mutter und ich haben heute Mittag dort gegessen. Korean Chicken und Bibimbap. Beide Gerichte waren super lecker!! Zum Bibimbap gab es auch 3 Beillagen unter anderem Kimchi (wurde von den Besitzern am morgen frisch zubereitet). Dazu gab es dann noch eine milde Chili Paste/Soße die auch Hausgemacht ist und wirklich gut schmeckt!! Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. :) Sollte ich nochmal in Frankfurt sein, werde ich dort definitiv wieder essen gehen. Vielen Dank, für die tollen Gerichte. :)

I really loved this place. The food was great + we got a bunch of free sides. The service was also amazing, both of the owners are very kind. Price is also on the cheaper side. Due to its very remote location, the place was not busy at all and the ambience felt great. Highly recommend this to anyone staying near the airport, or anyone else for that matter.

Sehr lecker... Sehr koreanisch... Eine tolle Überraschung. Zufällig gefunden. Normalerweise würde man wahrscheinlich dran vorbei laufen. Aber einige Bewerbungen auf Google ließen den Eindruck entstehen, dass es sich um einen Geheimtipp in Sachen koreanische Küche handelt. Und genauso ist es auch gekommen. Ein sehr einfaches Restaurant, was aber Frau und her Lee in der Küche zaubern, kann sich absolut sehen lassen. Sehr lecker, sehr authentisch. Und sie sind großartige freundliche Gastgeber. Das ganze zum günstigen Preis und die Portionen bestens dimensioniert. Wir hatten koreanische Teigtaschen zur Vorspeise und dann Bulgogi sowie das frittierte Hähnchen. Auf jeden Fall noch einige weiter Besuche wert und absolut empfehlenswert.

Die Gerichte werden von der Familie Lee zubereitet. Frau Lee ist bekannt dafür, dass sie für viele verschiedene koreanische Firmen gekocht hat wie z.B. LG, Samsung etc. Auch heute noch ist sie unter den koreanischen "Müttern" in Frankfurt sehr bekannt. Selbst meine Mutter kennt sie. Wie man hören kann, ich bin koreanischer Abstammung. Ich hatte das koreanische Tagesgericht, eine scharfe Soft-Tofu Suppe und es war sehr gut. Ich hatte das Schweinefleich süss-sauer.
