I went to see Ppu and they accepted me even though I went without a reservation. The food was really, really delicious. It tastes better than other restaurants in Korea. How could the grilled mackerel be so savory and delicious? Above all, I went with my 5-year-old children, and I was very grateful that they were so attentive and considerate, even taking care of the children's dishes and water cups.

I happened to visit this Korean restaurant while on a business trip to Germany. It's the best Korean food I've eaten abroad. ~👍👍 It seems like it would be a big hit if you do business in Korea~😆 The owner is friendly and reservations are a must.🖐️

There were no seats for lunch, so it was worth going back for dinner. I was happy to have had truly delicious Korean food for the first time in a long time. Not only the taste, but also the service and atmosphere are very Korean and warm. I will definitely come back to Frankfurt again!!

Kkongchi Kimchi Jungol is the true taste of Korea.

Very authentically delicious Korean cuisine. Since it is quite small, reservations should be made in advance. Prices are reasonable for the food on offer. There are a lot of Korean guests here, which is a good sign. Parking in the area is a bit difficult. But there are usually enough short-term parking spaces for €4/hour. I'd love to come back.

Amazing experience here at Mr. Lee! Authentic Korean food - highly recommended!! The only weird policy is that you need to order 1 dish per customer. This is a weird policy especially as in Asian culture you order dishes for sharing. You might be 5 people but just want 4 different dishes. They should re-think this policy.

The food is outstanding! And the owner is very nice. If you are looking for real Korean cuisine and not a fast food restaurant, this is the place for you. You are usually the only person without (to me recognizable) Korean roots in this restaurant, which for me is a sign of quality that the cuisine is good and authentic. I definitely recommend making a reservation! Visitors often queue up to get a seat if they haven't made a reservation, but it's still worth it! I also have to note that you have to be aware that the dishes are, as I said and thank God, not "Germanized" and therefore, as is usual in Korean culture, they are often spicy. But there are also non-spicy dishes. I always enjoy coming back there!

The restaurant may not look like much from the outside... but after the first delicacies come to the table (all sorts of side dishes are always there) and then at the latest after the first bite - you are in Korean culinary heaven!!! Best food experience so far!!! A must for anyone who loves Korean cuisine! However, be careful with the tteokbokki: perfectly cooked, but with quite a spiciness kick! We loved it and will definitely come back 🤗

Tldr: Mr. Lee – Spicy, authentic, delicious At Mr. Lee's you can get really authentic Korean food with a lot of spiciness. The selection of dishes is large, but vegetarians don't really get their money's worth. And if you don't tolerate spiciness well, whether you're a child or an adult, you might reach your limits here - almost everything has a lot of oomph. There are lots of small side dishes to share, such as three types of kimchi, pickled beans and other delicacies that make the whole thing even more exciting. Overall, eating here is really fun, especially if you're in a group. The price is also right – you get a lot for your money. But you should definitely make a reservation, otherwise it will be difficult to get a table.

If you're planning on visiting Frankfurt, I 100% recommend checking out this place! I really missed Korean food while traveling for a long time, and the food here was just as delicious and clean as the food at most Korean restaurants. I had a hard time with European food because it felt a bit salty to my taste, but the food at this restaurant was good and not overly salty and just right :) I really highly recommend it. The owner was so friendly and nice that it was the first time I voluntarily left a tip haha. I liked the food so much that I ordered a few more before it came out and even brought them to go^^

All in all, a dream as always! We come here specifically from Koblenz because there is no Korean restaurant near us. And you don't need a state-of-the-art restaurant, you need authenticity - and you can find that here. Very tasty food, nice and quick service. My husband, who was eating Korean food for the first time, was also thrilled. We hope we can enjoy many more delicious dishes there and look forward to next time. :-)

After trying a few Korean restaurants in Ffm and my girlfriend living in Seoul for half a year, I can say that this one is the tastiest and most authentic in the area.

I don't take pictures of food wherever I go, so I'll write it down in detail because I'm afraid it won't be conveyed well. I always pass by Frankfurt, so I have never looked at it in depth or stayed there for a long time, but this was the first time I stayed there for a long time (at least 4 nights). Since my kids love Korean food so much, I have to eat Korean food at least once during my trip, so I think I've been to most of the famous Korean restaurants in Europe. I'm serious about what I eat, so I get angry if it doesn't taste good haha. Mystery is definitely the best. I can confidently say that it tastes better than Korean restaurants. I thought it would be difficult to recreate a complete Korean style since it is made with local ingredients, but somehow~~ There are 8 side dishes and they change every day, and the taste has its limits no matter how much you describe it in words, so you will know it when you try it. I highly recommend visiting if you are based in Ppu or traveling out of town. It's Jjin here. president… He said he would come back in a year and I went there on 8/12 and he said he had gone to Korea. My daughter was really looking forward to it. She was so disappointed that she couldn't eat it... Please remember that I will stop by when I attend a conference in Milan in two years.^^

This is absolutely, definitely the best Korean restaurant in Germany, or even in Europe! Our trip to Frankfurt was made unforgettable by this place. I wish there were a restaurant like this in Berlin as well! Every dish we had was incredible! It tasted authentic and delicious! The several side dishes provided for free are also incredibly tasty! They even change the items daily! If you love Korean food, this is a must-visit when you are in Frankfurt! It is very close to the central train station and easy to reach by public transport. The owner, Mr. Lee, speaks fluent Korean, German and English. He is very friendly and highly professional.

I really wanted to eat Korean food during my trip, but I couldn't make a reservation, so I got kimchi hotpot to go. My reservation was not made due to my mistake, but I was very grateful that the owner provided me with cider as a service. Thanks to the fact that they even prepared side dishes and prepared plates and spoons to eat from, I had a happy day eating delicious kimchi casserole. There were a lot of ingredients in the kimchi hotpot, and I was really full with rice, including kimchi, tofu, pork belly, and ramen noodles. thank you!

I rate this place as the best restaurant~ The beef stew was so delicious that I ate it all, including the soup. After 30 years of Korean food, I have 682.6 billion Korean restaurants saved on Naver Map. I have kimchi stew flowing in my blood. On the third week of reading, I felt dizzy and decided to visit Ppu Korean Restaurant despite the high-altitude environment. Price in Korea The sushi omakase is at the same level as old sushi, but the taste is worth more than the taste of your grandmother’s cooking. Korean boss. Reservations can be made by phone. They said I was fully booked, but if I don't get a blood transfusion now, I laid down thinking I was going to die, made a reservation + waited on site for 30 minutes and finished eating. Oh my gosh, I'm going to do it. There is a charge for side dish refills, so don't make mistakes by acting like an amateur.

I ordered jiajang myun and found it to be delicious. It was brought quickly. Unfortunately, the reason I still have to deduct two stars is the treatment between guests and Korean guests. I myself was in South Korea for 5 weeks so I know what is usual. In Korea you are automatically brought water or even tea. I was also able to observe this with Mr. Lee, but unfortunately only with the Korean guests. Furthermore, I had the feeling that I was under constant surveillance. Admittedly I came straight from London. I slept on the plane and therefore didn't look very well groomed like the business people who might be regular guests there. I only got water when I asked (in Korean, mind you). But I find that a disgrace.

Nothing will top this dinner. Best korean, or maybe in general food I’ve ever ate. Don’t miss this.

MAKE A RESERVATION!!! That’s the first recommendation! They accept credit card 😂 Got haemul pajeon, spicy pork, bulgogi and spicy beef soup. Their banchans were excellent and tasted like your mom cooked it for you. You can ask for more banchans but each item will be 1€ extra. They used pork belly for the spicy pork, it was bit oily as you finished the dish but it was nicely seasoned. The bulgogi was good, the meat was tender and moist, bit under seasoned though. Spicy beef soup was good and start your dinner with the haemul pajeon. It was perfectly cooked, crispy outside and delicious! Definitely a place to try if you are in Frankfurt and best Korean food I’ve had in Germany.

Looking at the prices displayed on the menu, I ordered stone pot bibimbap (17 euros) and kimchi pork belly (18 euros). It was not pork belly, but beef belly, so I had some left over after eating just one piece. After finishing the meal, when I was paying, I immediately said, “Oh, the price on the menu is the old price and it’s actually 38 euros, not 35.” He said. When taking an order, don't say anything and don't do business by harassing customers by backstabbing them when paying.

I stopped by because I wanted to eat something spicy. Just like eating in real Korea I was able to eat proper Korean food! It was so delicious that I ate it while sweating. It tastes better than what my wife made. Reservation is essential.

I go to Seoul very often for work and I can say that the food here are just as authentic as in Korea. My friend and I really enjoyed the food. The sweet fried chicken were so tender. The side dishes were also delicious and have wide varieties. We also had a spicy tofu soup and a cold noodle and they were equally awesome. (We forgot to take pictures of them.) I know it seems a lot to eat for two girls but because it was like a breakfast and lunch for us. Coming here is like visiting Korea. We are so happy that they did not adjust the original taste to suit the local germans which many other restaurants do and we hated it. The service was very prompt and we didn't wait long for the food. We were there at 12pm on a Saturday. But maybe it's better to make a reservation as the restaurant is not very big, maybe 7-10 tables. So glad that we found this gem. Will definitely go back again! I love Korean food a lot and always go out looking for the best Korean restaurant in town wherever I visit. Mr. Lee is the by far the best I have visited in Frankfurt.

In my opinion, the offered lunch specials are the best lunch deal in town. You get multiple, varied banchan, a main, and tea or water for a great price. The food is delicious and service friendly even though they can get quite busy. If you're early and lucky, you might be able to just walk in, but safest to make a reservation.

We discovered Mr. LEEs almost 20 yrs ago, we went there every few months then we had to leave in 2013, came back 2 yrs ago and discovered its still open. The food is top quality, Service is awesome and you couldn't ask for better atmosphere unless you were in Korea. Don't go here with out reservations, the are a must. Don't go here expecting to get Japanese, Chinese or Thai food you will be disappointed they only serve Traditional Korean food of the finest quality.

I heard it was the best Korean restaurant in Frankfurt, so I had dinner there with my business trip colleagues. Rabokki, seafood and green onion pancakes, bossam, seasoned fish, monkfish stew, fried chicken... and even side dishes like cabbage kimchi, I'm so happy to try proper Korean food for the first time in 3 months. The owner, who took over my father-in-law's family business and runs a wonderful restaurant, is also very kind. Close to the central station, easy to access when arriving and departing Frankfurt.

All the staff were really kind. Fast service with delicious food. You can ask take away and still side dishes are all included without any additional fee. Super close from the station. It tastes just like the one I had in Korea. The service was fast and the owner and staff were all very friendly. While eating in the hall, I asked for an additional take-out order, and when I said I was eating at the hotel, they even provided me with separate chopsticks!

I think it would be better not to order the Chinese restaurant menu. I think it would be better to focus on menu items that have been praised in other reviews. I visited Junghwaru instead of Junghwaru after being recommended by a guide, but was very disappointed. The service and atmosphere of the store itself were good, but the jjajangmyeon didn't taste good at all.

Frankfurt Korean restaurant. Mr. Lee I visited after making a phone reservation. It is adjacent to Main Jungang Station and has good accessibility. I had seafood and green onion pancakes, kimchi hot pot, Osam bulgogi, and wheat beer for dinner. The seafood and green onion pancake was a bit disappointing. There was more flour than seafood, so it was like a pancake. I enjoyed the kimchi hotpot and Osam bulgogi. There weren't many Korean restaurants before, but when I went this time, there were a lot of Korean restaurants.

We were lured by the great reviews and were not disappointed! We reserved a table for the evening and were warmly welcomed. We had the crispy chicken as a starter and then the kimchi stew with pork belly and tofu as well as the bulgogi. There were also 8 side dishes, all of which were incredibly tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. My friend asked for extra spicy because he likes it extremely spicy.. when I tried it I almost fell off my stool hahahaha. The basement immediately provided me with water. All in all, a great restaurant visit with authentic Korean food.

After preliminary research, I went to this restaurant specifically to enjoy my family's cuisine. The choice of food is large and yet I found it irritating that you couldn't get the famous "Army Stew". Additionally, we couldn't change the meat choice for another stew, which I can't understand. I ended up having the noodles with the black bean paste and the taste of the dish was good, although the paste was a bit too mild for my taste. I also tried some Dakgalbi, which tasted very good. The several small side dishes are typically Korean and the authenticity is very much there. In terms of price, it is rather expensive for the number of portions, although the several small side dishes have to be taken into account. All in all a good experience.

Incredible Korean food in probably the one of the best food cities in Europe. We flew all the way from London’s fairly mediocre Korean food scene and enjoyed our fill on some of the incredible dishes they have to offer. We ordered the fried chicken and black bean noodles and everything was made to perfection, just the sort of home cooked feeling we needed. Definitely returning again on our next visit!
