Totally missed beef, never again.

Super delicious food and a very pleasant atmosphere, it was our first time there but I'm sure it won't be the last time, at least we still want to try it out.

It is indeed the best Korean restaurant here. The owner is very nice. Be sure to make a reservation first.

This is absolutely, definitely the best Korean restaurant in Germany, or even in Europe! Our trip to Frankfurt was made unforgettable by this place. I wish there were a restaurant like this in Berlin as well! Every dish we had was incredible! It tasted authentic and delicious! The several side dishes provided for free are also incredibly tasty! They even change the items daily! If you love Korean food, this is a must-visit when you are in Frankfurt! It is very close to the central train station and easy to reach by public transport. The owner, Mr. Lee, speaks fluent Korean, German and English. He is very friendly and highly professional.

I really wanted to eat Korean food during my trip, but I couldn't make a reservation, so I got kimchi hotpot to go. My reservation was not made due to my mistake, but I was very grateful that the owner provided me with cider as a service. Thanks to the fact that they even prepared side dishes and prepared plates and spoons to eat from, I had a happy day eating delicious kimchi casserole. There were a lot of ingredients in the kimchi hotpot, and I was really full with rice, including kimchi, tofu, pork belly, and ramen noodles. thank you!

It's so delicious. I ate it all without leaving a single side dish behind. For those of you traveling from Korea, please make sure to visit when you are hungry for Korean food. Reservation is essential as it gets very crowded.

Authentic, delicious, sociable!

Traveling around Germany and Vienna, Austria for a month I ate at 10 Korean restaurants. I rate this place as the best restaurant~ The beef stew was so delicious that I ate it all, including the soup. Neat, diverse and delicious side dishes I couldn't taste it at any other Korean restaurant. The food was delicious and the owner was very friendly. I'm visiting again as I finish my month-long trip~

Soybean paste stew was really delicious. The rice wasn't undercooked and the side dishes were just right, neither bland nor salty.

After 30 years of Korean food, I have 682.6 billion Korean restaurants saved on Naver Map. I have kimchi stew flowing in my blood. On the third week of reading, I felt dizzy and decided to visit Ppu Korean Restaurant despite the high-altitude environment. Price in Korea The sushi omakase is at the same level as old sushi, but the taste is worth more than the taste of your grandmother’s cooking. Korean boss. Reservations can be made by phone. They said I was fully booked, but if I don't get a blood transfusion now, I laid down thinking I was going to die, made a reservation + waited on site for 30 minutes and finished eating. Oh my gosh, I'm going to do it. There is a charge for side dish refills, so don't make mistakes by acting like an amateur.

Food is expensive, but one of the most authentic koreans in Frankfurt so far. You get a lot of side dishes (about 8) for ordering a main dish.

Every dish comes with 8 different sides and rice. Approved by authentic Korean (me) period.

I ordered jiajang myun and found it to be delicious. It was brought quickly. Unfortunately, the reason I still have to deduct two stars is the treatment between guests and Korean guests. I myself was in South Korea for 5 weeks so I know what is usual. In Korea you are automatically brought water or even tea. I was also able to observe this with Mr. Lee, but unfortunately only with the Korean guests. Furthermore, I had the feeling that I was under constant surveillance. Admittedly I came straight from London. I slept on the plane and therefore didn't look very well groomed like the business people who might be regular guests there. I only got water when I asked (in Korean, mind you). But I find that a disgrace.

Nothing will top this dinner. Best korean, or maybe in general food I’ve ever ate. Don’t miss this.

Looking at the prices displayed on the menu, I ordered stone pot bibimbap (17 euros) and kimchi pork belly (18 euros). It was not pork belly, but beef belly, so I had some left over after eating just one piece. After finishing the meal, when I was paying, I immediately said, “Oh, the price on the menu is the old price and it’s actually 38 euros, not 35.” He said. When taking an order, don't say anything and don't do business by harassing customers by backstabbing them when paying.

MAKE A RESERVATION!!! That’s the first recommendation! They accept credit card 😂 Got haemul pajeon, spicy pork, bulgogi and spicy beef soup. Their banchans were excellent and tasted like your mom cooked it for you. You can ask for more banchans but each item will be 1€ extra. They used pork belly for the spicy pork, it was bit oily as you finished the dish but it was nicely seasoned. The bulgogi was good, the meat was tender and moist, bit under seasoned though. Spicy beef soup was good and start your dinner with the haemul pajeon. It was perfectly cooked, crispy outside and delicious! Definitely a place to try if you are in Frankfurt and best Korean food I’ve had in Germany.

Very friendly service, the food was excellent! There were free side dishes for the main courses ordered. The kimchi tasted like it was in Korea.

I stopped by because I wanted to eat something spicy. Just like eating in real Korea I was able to eat proper Korean food! It was so delicious that I ate it while sweating. It tastes better than what my wife made. Reservation is essential.

I go to Seoul very often for work and I can say that the food here are just as authentic as in Korea. My friend and I really enjoyed the food. The sweet fried chicken were so tender. The side dishes were also delicious and have wide varieties. We also had a spicy tofu soup and a cold noodle and they were equally awesome. (We forgot to take pictures of them.) I know it seems a lot to eat for two girls but because it was like a breakfast and lunch for us. Coming here is like visiting Korea. We are so happy that they did not adjust the original taste to suit the local germans which many other restaurants do and we hated it. The service was very prompt and we didn't wait long for the food. We were there at 12pm on a Saturday. But maybe it's better to make a reservation as the restaurant is not very big, maybe 7-10 tables. So glad that we found this gem. Will definitely go back again! The food is ok, not top but also not bad

Absolutely delicious. We came without a reservation and got a seat thanks to the nice waiter. The food was on the table faster than I could blink and the taste was incredibly good! We will be back!

Overall traditional korean nice food but rather little portion. We don't eat beef but there are little choices for non beef eaters like us.

Takes getting used to, 1.20 by 1.50cm picture menus. Non-alcoholic drinks are very expensive. Bottle of water 0.7 costs €4, is completely over the top.

I love Korean food a lot and always go out looking for the best Korean restaurant in town wherever I visit. Mr. Lee is the by far the best I have visited in Frankfurt.

☻ It was the first Jjamppong I tried in Germany. It was nice to be able to eat a variety of side dishes after a long time. The quantity was plentiful and the taste was good. I visited with a colleague who had never experienced Korean food before and I was very satisfied. They were friendly and the food was delicious! My co-worker said the chicken gangjeong was the best!! I really liked the side dishes too!! For me, Jjambbong was the most delicious!! If you are looking for a Korean restaurant in downtown Frankfurt, go here!! My colleagues say the Korean food is so good that they are 100% willing to visit again.

It's hard to expect a lot of Korean flavor. Instead, the side dishes were delicious and the atmosphere was nice.

In my opinion, the offered lunch specials are the best lunch deal in town. You get multiple, varied banchan, a main, and tea or water for a great price. The food is delicious and service friendly even though they can get quite busy. If you're early and lucky, you might be able to just walk in, but safest to make a reservation.

I hadn't eaten properly all day, so I ordered kimchi stew and fried chicken and I was really full. In particular, the stew was not salty and delicious. The owner was also kind. I think reservations are required during peak evening hours..!

We discovered Mr. LEEs almost 20 yrs ago, we went there every few months then we had to leave in 2013, came back 2 yrs ago and discovered its still open. The food is top quality, Service is awesome and you couldn't ask for better atmosphere unless you were in Korea. Don't go here with out reservations, the are a must. Don't go here expecting to get Japanese, Chinese or Thai food you will be disappointed they only serve Traditional Korean food of the finest quality.

All the staff were really kind. Fast service with delicious food. You can ask take away and still side dishes are all included without any additional fee. Super close from the station. It tastes just like the one I had in Korea. The service was fast and the owner and staff were all very friendly. While eating in the hall, I asked for an additional take-out order, and when I said I was eating at the hotel, they even provided me with separate chopsticks!

I heard it was the best Korean restaurant in Frankfurt, so I had dinner there with my business trip colleagues. Rabokki, seafood and green onion pancakes, bossam, seasoned fish, monkfish stew, fried chicken... and even side dishes like cabbage kimchi, I'm so happy to try proper Korean food for the first time in 3 months. The owner, who took over my father-in-law's family business and runs a wonderful restaurant, is also very kind. Close to the central station, easy to access when arriving and departing Frankfurt.

I think it would be better not to order the Chinese restaurant menu. I think it would be better to focus on menu items that have been praised in other reviews. I visited Junghwaru instead of Junghwaru after being recommended by a guide, but was very disappointed. The service and atmosphere of the store itself were good, but the jjajangmyeon didn't taste good at all.

They close too early at 20:30 (but on the website it says it closes at 21:30).

Frankfurt Korean restaurant. Mr. Lee I visited after making a phone reservation. It is adjacent to Main Jungang Station and has good accessibility. I had seafood and green onion pancakes, kimchi hot pot, Osam bulgogi, and wheat beer for dinner. The seafood and green onion pancake was a bit disappointing. There was more flour than seafood, so it was like a pancake. I enjoyed the kimchi hotpot and Osam bulgogi. There weren't many Korean restaurants before, but when I went this time, there were a lot of Korean restaurants.

We were lured by the great reviews and were not disappointed! We reserved a table for the evening and were warmly welcomed. We had the crispy chicken as a starter and then the kimchi stew with pork belly and tofu as well as the bulgogi. There were also 8 side dishes, all of which were incredibly tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. My friend asked for extra spicy because he likes it extremely spicy.. when I tried it I almost fell off my stool hahahaha. The basement immediately provided me with water. All in all, a great restaurant visit with authentic Korean food.

After preliminary research, I went to this restaurant specifically to enjoy my family's cuisine. The choice of food is large and yet I found it irritating that you couldn't get the famous "Army Stew". Additionally, we couldn't change the meat choice for another stew, which I can't understand. I ended up having the noodles with the black bean paste and the taste of the dish was good, although the paste was a bit too mild for my taste. I also tried some Dakgalbi, which tasted very good. The several small side dishes are typically Korean and the authenticity is very much there. In terms of price, it is rather expensive for the number of portions, although the several small side dishes have to be taken into account. All in all a good experience.

Incredible Korean food in probably the one of the best food cities in Europe. We flew all the way from London’s fairly mediocre Korean food scene and enjoyed our fill on some of the incredible dishes they have to offer. We ordered the fried chicken and black bean noodles and everything was made to perfection, just the sort of home cooked feeling we needed. Definitely returning again on our next visit!

The food here is very authentic and the way they serve is also very Korean. The service is super friendly, especially when you can speak some Korean. They have the best tea I've ever had, which is Yulmucha I think, it's nutty and creamy. My friend had a corn tea and it's super tasty too, they are all homemade. I will definitely come back to try more dishes! Highly recommend.

The food was a bit on the salty side and it lacked a bit of the authentic flavor. However the staff was very friendly and the place was nicely decorated with old Korean charm.

와 🤩 닭갈비랑 육개장 먹었는데 진짜 맛있었어요. 반찬도 8가지나 나오고, 간도 삼삼하니 천연 그대로의 맛을 느낄 수 있고요. 닭갈비는 불맛과 고춧가루가 함께 어우러져 맵지 않은데 특유의 식감과 불맛이 너무 좋았어요! 육개장은 오랫동안 끓일 때만 느껴지는 가정식 그대로의 덜 자극적인 맛이 최고였습니다. 예약 추천하고요, 만약 못 하셨으면 오픈런 추천해요. 11시 35분에 도착했는데 이미 두 테이블에 사람이 있던건 안 비밀 🫢ㅋ

My favorite Korean restaurant in FFM. Every menu is solid and the owner is really nice. I recommend making a reservation. 지금까지 순두부, 자장면, 육계장, 김치전, 닭강정, 만두, 냉면 먹어봤는데 다 맛있어요.

Man hat uns erst einmal am Eingang 15 Mintuen lang ignoriert - nachdem man uns gefragt hatte, wieviele Personen wir seien. Es gab schon freie Tische. Das war seltsam! Das Essen ist zwar sehr lecker, aber auch sehr teuer. Ein einfacher Kimchi-Pfannkuchen kostet z.B. schon €18. Seltsam! Preise übertrieben - paßen nicht zum Gesamt-Paket. Dafür, daß das Restaurant/die Einrichtung nicht besonders toll, schön ist, und der Service etwas hakt, stimmt hier das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis leider nicht. Fazit: Essen schmeckt. Werde aber wohl nicht mehr hingehen, weil das Gesamt-Paket nicht paßt - zu teuer. Schade!

In der Mission, die kulinarische Szene Frankfurts zu erobern, stürzten wir uns in das Abenteuer "Mr. Lee" - ein koreanisches Juwel aus der Frankfurt Journal Top List, versteckt hinter der Fassade einer deutschen Kneipe. Ein echter Geheimtipp! Ohne Reservierung wagten wir uns zur Mittagszeit hinein und wurden nach einer kurzen, spannenden Wartezeit von 10 Minuten mit offenen Armen empfangen. Der Besitzer? Ein wahrer Gastgeber-Held, super freundlich und aufmerksam! Das Highlight? Die Standard-Beilagenauswahl, die zu jedem Gericht serviert wird. Ein Kimchi-Mix, der die Geschmacksknospen zum Singen bringt! Das Mittagsgericht kam schneller als ein fliegender Ninja und war nicht nur köstlich, sondern auch perfekt auf die Saison und das Wetter abgestimmt. Unser Fazit: Mr. Lee hat sich seinen glänzenden Platz auf den Bestenlisten seit über 5 Jahren redlich verdient. Ein kulinarisches Erlebnis, das in Erinnerung bleibt!

本格的かつリーズナブルな韓国料理が食べられる人気店！ 今まで食べたチゲ鍋で一番美味しかったです(^^) フランクフルト駅から徒歩圏内です。 金曜日夜は予約無しで行ったら断られたので、日曜日開店直後に行ったら予約無しでも入店出来ましたが予約した方が良いかも。 付け合わせのお野菜も全て美味しく、ご飯もモチモチしてました。おすすめです！

Das beste koreanische Restaurant in Frankfurt!! Dieses Restaurant muss man besucht haben, wenn man in Frankfurt ist. Selbst wenn man sich nicht mit der koreanischen Küche auskennt ist „Mr. Lee“ die ideale Option sie zu testen und sich davon begeistern zu lassen. Alle Gerichte, die wir bisher probiert haben, waren vorzüglich! Und wir waren schon wirklich oft hier. Das Rindfleisch (Bulgogi) ist super zart und geschmacklich ebenfalls klasse. Die Mandu sind stets einwandfrei: Wundervoll gefüllt und schön knusprig. Der Kimchi Pfannkuchen hat die perfekte Schärfe und ist ein toller Snack zwischen Gerichten. Das Hühnchen im Korean Fried Chicken ist ebenfalls zart sowie perfekt paniert und mit einer grandiosen Soße garniert, welche nicht überhand nimmt, aber auch nicht untergeht. Das Bibimbap in der Steinschale ist ebenso jedes Mal wieder ein Gedicht. Es schmeckt einfach hochqualitativ und rundum top. Ebenfalls ist es toll, dass man wenn man kommt bereits Vorspeisen und ein großes Wasser auf dem Tisch findet. Alle Kellner sind stets gut gelaunt und unfassbar höflich. Auch die Toiletten sind einwandfrei. Wir werden noch sehr oft vorbeikommen, es ist einfach klasse hier!!
