I ordered Biryani via Uber eats and the biryani looks like yellow rice then the biryani. Biryani was not a biryani just yellow rice and no gravy at all. Big No to this biryani.

Ordered the Chicken Korma and Tandoori Chicken. The food was ok but the flavor seemed very bland. Long waits added to a the mediocre experience.

Unfortunately it was a sad affair, it tasted a bit artificial, supposedly spicy, unfortunately it was only sweet, there was such an artificial sweetness in the sauce and the best thing about it was just the rice and the bread, although in my opinion it was too greasy.

Food is delicious and affordable with excellent service. Highly recommend the chicken tandoori which came with salad and curry sauce.

Been here a few times for the very cheap lunch menu. Looks great and everyone is very happy. The main course even comes with a very tasty soup and salad. Service very nice and attentive. Prices are hard to beat. It's really nice to sit there.

Normally we love this place. Most dishes are very tasty. They are very good with tomato based dishes. This time garlic naan was just mediocre and Desi dum biryani chicken is not to the usual high level. The rice has not enough flavour except chilli spice.

I've visited many Indian and Pakistani restaurants in Berlin, some of which were exceptional, but this one stands out above all. The dal, chicken tandoori, samosas, and shahi paneer were incredibly authentic and delicious. Chai was okay . I rarely write reviews, but this restaurant truly deserves recognition for its outstanding Indian cuisine.

Ordered the veg thali and it was amazing! This place is cheaper compared to other Indian restaurants and I really like the food.

I had Daal Tadka and it was near authentic as would find back home in Pakistan/India. I asked the daal to be spicy and it indeed met my expectations.

You come in, despite such good reviews there are only 3.4 tables (out of about 40) occupied... but okay, it's early Tuesday evening... after 15 minutes of sitting in front of the menu, order ready in our heads, it quickly becomes clear what's going on One of the problems is - the “service” (a listless guy in a hoody, no smile, no ambitions, no German, no anything) is busy with everything, but not with the guests. Well got up and got it and placed the order. The food comes to the table quickly and warm. But the first bite spoils the mood: for one person the chicken isn't cooked through, for another the sauce tastes like absolutely nothing, the naan is dripping with fat... 3 out of 4 people don't finish eating and are looking forward to the good old butter sandwich at home... But: we sat there for a long time, it's so rare to see each other... but we didn't see the service guy at our table until the end (everything OK? Do you want anything else? Do you like it?) and we almost died of thirst. But he was busy putting up chairs between the only three occupied tables (1.5 hours before closing time) and, to make matters worse, creating a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Payment was then only possible in cash, without an invoice (not even handwritten on paper)… It's quite cheap and you always get the nicest seats by the window - I can't see any other advantages. Really one of the low 10 restaurant visits.

The best Indian food I've eaten in my life. The chicken korma, the paneer and the samosas are second to none. Authentic, flavourful and everything is just on point. So glad, I've found this place in Berlin.

Update 2: it seems to me the restaurant pretends to have some defamation war ongoing to discredit genuine negative customer experiences. How toxic. Medicore food. Rice smells bad like it hasnt been washed properly. On top of that staff is rude. Update: interesting take on incompetence of their services. They're trying to threaten me to take down the review by calling it fake and hiring a lawyer. Go ahead ;) You just make it visible to the public what kind of service your staff provides, expect worse in the store.

The service is as bad as the management of the orders! I definitely don't recommend it.

Pathetic food and the management is more Pathetic compared to the taste of the food. Make sure to check before you eat what you ordered because even if they serve you a different item than what you ordered and you tasted it by mistake. They would charge you because its your mistake you tasted their wrongly delivered food. Have bot dealt with someone so unprofessional in the resturant business. God knows what do they do in their kitchen.. how they cook n from where they buy their veges, livestocks n raw materials.

Give that chef a raise ! Whoever introduced the dum biryani on the menu. I was very surprised and my expectations have been exceeded. I am from Hyderabad, India and I know how a good dum biryani is made. I would say you are one of very few places in Berlin who is attempting to cook this way. I understand the time and effort which goes into cooking this style of biryani. Hopefully you will be able continue this service 😊

We ordered take out because we were craving tandoori chicken, I was so surprised when we received our order. Literally the best tandoori chicken ever!! And the malai tikka is even better. Just like typical Indian tandoori food! Love it 😍

Very good lunch from €5.50 (!). You don't even get a kebab for this anymore, but at Mezban you get a delicious vegetarian curry with soup and salad. The food tastes like a lot and not the creamy monotony like so often in Indian restaurants. I'll definitely try something from the regular menu soon.

Tofu Palak schmeckt echt nicht gut. Kaum gewürzt und zu flüssig. Naan schmeckt sehr gut. Lieferung dauert 60min.

I ordered from lieferando, food was amazing! It was Sunday evening, so delivery took more than expected, but the lady was so sorry for the delay. It is nice to know when people are polite in Berlin. I want to go to the restaurant and eat there too.

My boyfriend is Indian and we have found it very challenging to find good, well spiced Indian restaurants in Berlin. We ordered online from this place (which was easy and quicker than Lieferando) and the food was tasty, fresh and had spice levels as advertised. They have a huge diversity of dishes: from lamb to okra to your usual butter chicken. Only the (garlic?) naan was a little disappointing and didn’t seem as fresh. Still: one of the best Indian we have had in Berlin. Can highly recommend trying this.

Das Essen war super lecker. Das Fleisch war ganz zart und gut gewürzt. Preis ist akzeptabel. Die Portionen sind sehr groß. Mittlerweile habe ich festgestellt, dass ich da Stammgast geworden bin.

War sehr lecker. Meine Frau und ich sind sehr zufrieden. Das Essen ist frisch und man merkt, dass das Restaurant sich Mühe gibt in Sachen Qualität. Kann man aufjedenfall weiterempfehlen.

Bestellung wurde an einem Sonntagabend nach knapp 50 Minuten geliefert, war vollständig, gut verpackt, sehr heiß und frisch. Die Madras-Suppe war fein gewürzt, das Angara-Gericht tatsächlich sehr scharf, wie deklariert. Das Lammfleisch war etwas zu fettig/sehnig. Leider wird bei der Bestellung kein Besteck mitgegeben, z.B. als Hotelgast darf man mit den Händen essen.

Proper curries, nothing like the dumbed down, flavourless curries which you usually find in almost all Indian restaurants in Germoney. Real spices like cardamon, clove etc. are used and all is made fresh. Massive choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes, too. The vindaloo is divine, defo one of the best - if you can handle the heat. Hot and spicy but still clear layers of distinct flavours discernable. Very much recommended if you are after proper curries, kinda like the ones you might have had on your travels in Asia or in the UK. Service is ok, not top of range, but who cares if cold beers and flavourful curries are to be had?

Besides their nice service, even after the gave them the wrong address. They called me and asked for the new address without charging extra money. The food quality is super tasty

Leider war ich dieses Mal nicht so angetan. Mein Essen enthielt entgegen der Karte, wonach Gemüse und Tofu in einer Mandel-Cashew-Kokosmilchsosse auf meinem Teller sein sollte, anstelle des Gemüse lediglich einige wenige grüne Bohnen. Geschmacklich war es i.O., kam jedoch an das gleiche Essen, als ich es vor einigen Wochen erstmals über Lieferando bestellte, nicht heran. Schade....

Super lecker, super höflich und zuvorkommend! Waren schon oft dort und kommen immer wieder gerne!

Wir kommen sehr gerne aus Wilmersdorf rüber, obwohl wir mehre indische Restaurants in der Nähe haben, denn keines ist so gut wie MEZBAN. Das Essen hier ist wirklich sehr lecker und der Service ist immer überdurchschnittlich freundlich. Außerdem ist das gesamte Restaurant + WC (Kosmetik & andere Utensilien für Damen vorzufinden) sehr gepflegt und man fühlt sich einfach wohl.

Mezban is a very nice Indian restaurant in Berlin. We had a wonderful group dinner at this restaurant and had a wonderful birthday celebration. My friends were Asian, German, Arabic, Turkish nationalities. All of them were amazed to have the Vegetarisch Biryani with Dal Makhni. They also loved the platter of Vegetable Pakoras. The hospitality of the staff is also commendable. I wish the Mezban team all the best and I hope to have further visits to this restaurant.

Dear sir, I visited the restaurant on 19.09.2020 in the evening while there was a birthday party that was happening. I had ordered for a masala dosa and kuthu roti with mango lassi. The dosa and sambar was really good, lassi was also good. And three stars is just for that. Kuthu roti with egg was not that great, also the chutney that came along with dosa was not good. Also I had to wait for almost 50 mins to get served, I understand that there was a party but its your responsibility to pay attention to other guests as well! So, please keep customers engaged and not unattended! Thank you.

This is one of the best Indian resturants i have ever visited in Berlin. If anybody would like to have original test of indian foods, you need to certainly visit this resturant. You can fill your stomach with full of tasty as well as quality foods by resonable price and definitely you don't need to think about service. The quality of service is amazing! They are very friendly and you will be treated always with higher priority. Even you can customize your foods by your own preferences. Let's visit, gets experience what i have commented and then justify my compliments.

Enjoying the food right now in Restaurant Mezban. The authentic chicken garlic kebab is yummy and very tasty, the Bonda which was made by the kitchen chef on my special request was suuuuper Tasty, uploading the pics ,.. service is very friendly. Definitely I'll visit again .

Sehr leckeres indisches Essen, welches frisch zubereitet wird. Cocktails sind ebenfalls empfehlenswert genau wie der indische Yogi Tee! Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Zur Küche kann ich nix sagen. Aber der Besitzer ist sehr nett und ist im Persönlichen Gespräch auf meine Belange eingegangen. Ich werde demnächst die Küche probieren und dazu ein Bericht verfassen.
